We eat there several times a week being that we work right around the corner and usually have a great experience however on this occasion not so much, we walked up to the counter and placed two separate orders the second order came up fairly quickly as usual however the first order was still not ready even after the person that ordered after us was already seated and eating. After realizing we were still waiting we were asked what we ordered they told us that it was being prepared when we could see the cook was just standing in the back at that point they scrambled to get our order ready and the two burritos were definitely smaller than what we're used to, not sure if this was due to the fact that they were rushing to get our order done. First negative experience in 14 years.

We were there a few days ago for lunch and the customer service alone was outstanding. The cashiers went above and beyond in making sure we had ketchup and drinks were topped off. We didn’t catch her name but young lady with blonde hair and glasses was so attentive, very sweet girl chatted with us for a bit. Will definitely come back!

Normally this location exceeds expectations. The last few times the freshness, quality, and customer service has been lacking greatly. The "new" $5 meals went from being great tasting and worth the cost to looking like a poorly put together child's meal. The portions shrunk, the fries and onion rings were like warm (onion rings were soggy too), cookies were over hard and tasted freezer burned. The staff barely spoke when approached. This location is usually my favorite due to friendliness, cleanliness, and freshness. At least they still kept it clean.

I used to like Carl's Junior but like every large restaurant chain the quality drops with time. My patty was dry, cheese full of grease, and bacon seemed microwaved. My meal was $10, which can buy a good burger at a decent place like Lotta Burger or FIve Guys. Carl's junior has become McDonald's with a big price tag. It used to be worth paying more than Macdonalds and Burger King but not anymore.

The people leaving as I entered were talking to each other about how slow the service was. They were not kidding! There are 2 diners in the restaurant and a slow trickle of people at the drive-thru - and after 15 minutes still no food. . . . Wait - 2 burgers and fries at 16 minutes. Whew.

Carl's Junior is now refusing to honor long standing 2 for $4.00 milkshake. Mr. Bill Blackmore is district manager Alb. Area. He promised me in an email about a year ago he would continue to honor this non expiring coupon. Previously & presently he refused & refuses to honor a 15% education discount initiated in 2001. What does that tell us about what he thinks of education.? Previous manager, Juan Chavez was a much more honorable man. . Bill said in an email that stock holders were his priority over customer satisfaction. It's a whole new generation of management I guess?!

Usually they're really good. Today, however, went on my lunch break, ordered a #4 (Dbl. Bacon Western) with no cheese. Got an All-Star meal #4. When it was brought to my table, I explained that I didn't order that. She went back, and put it on the counter. A couple mins later, the manager realizing the front was slammed started helping. Asked what the meal on the counter was, to which the front worker replied, "He said it wasn't what he ordered. He said he ordered a #8 or something." The manager then proceeded to bring me what I didn't order, firmly put the tray down in front of me, and adamantly said, "#54!" (my order #). Pulled out the receipt, and saw the girl rang me up wrong. After waiting 15-20 mins, I didn't have time for them to rectify it as it was busier than it was when we got there, so I just dealt with it. Not a bad visit, just think things could've been handled a better.

Preferential treatment! Labor day 8:30 AM. The place was dead. The couple I front of me finished ordering. I was the only other customer. I ordered 6 sausage and Egg biscuits. Three other customers came in well after I ordered. They were served (4 other biscuit sandwiches) before me! The manager recognized one of them. This is a poor way to do business. Especially when the customer can clearly see others were served ahead of them! Serve people in the order they werebwaited on or tell them why they were passed over. Perhaps they only had 4 biscuits ready and had to cook more.

The service here was good as the employees were friendly. Overboard on clumps of iceberg lettuce on the sandwich. The food was good and tasted fresh. In this area this was a good place to eat for lunch as it wasn't too busy. It was a quiet location in that light which is always nice.

When Carl's Jr first came to NM (about 15 yrs ago) they were all dirty, had terrible customer service, and expensive burgers that would make a Burger King ashamed. So many burger joints.. I wrote them off. In 2013 I got a job at a company, and there was CJR at, essentially, the end of the parking lot. I ended up trying it again. The place was clean, service was fast and pleasant, and the food was good and a great value if you got one of the various "$5 lunch" specials they always have. It ended up being one of my favorite places to eat lunch (as my beltline will attest). I don't work there anymore, but this Carl's Jr. is about 2 blocks from where I work now. So I eventually ended up there, despite my desire to cut down my mid-day calorie intake, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that this store met or exceeded any expectations set by my previous experience. It is immaculate (even the bathrooms are ALWAYS spotless), the staff is pleasant and professional (fast food is a high volume game during the lunch rush, if you want "friendly" make some friends). I've been there more than 10 times now and have never waited more than 30 secs to be waited on or 5 mins to get my food. The $5 lunch combos are good, but what's great for the same price is the Western Bacon Cheeseburger sans fries and drink. Suffice it all to say: I eat here a lot more than I intended to when I started this new job and that is down to the professionalism and speed of service, and the great and consistent quality of the food.

Enjoyed my late lunch today at this location. I will definitely visit again. One of the cleanest Carl’s JR. in ABQ. The manager, I believe named Chauntel, served my family and me. Yeah dude I'm serious, just do your job and add some green Chile to my burger. It's really concerning to have employees who publically get agitated for small changes and I've actually avoided this location because of how the empolyees reacted.

I absolutely recommend Carl's Jr. Cuz they have amazing service, awesome burgers from breakfast burgers &/or burritos & coffee is great and I really LUV their Angus burgers are a little more, but worth every penny. I'm female and petite so I usually eat 1/2 and eat the other 1/2 as 2nd meal. They also have a condiment cart w/lots different salsas n peppers etc. I have eaten at many of their locations around the state of NM, bur I live closest to location in Los Lunas by the super Walmart store just east of I-25 @ Los Lunas exit. Want a great meal, go to CJ'S eat and enjoy.

Sunday morning before 11 on 5/13/18 me and my significant other go to grab a bite to eat. It seems like only 2 people are working. Its not very busy at all. We wait patiently in the lobby for our orders to be taken . She has her headset and just says one sec. I agree and continue to wait . Someone pulls up to the drive through and she takes their order and we are already waiting for 5 minuts just for our order to be taken . There is nobody in line but us. I continue to wait. She is getting their order ready and completely ignores us . Another order comes through the drive through and sure enough we are put in the back of the line like people who walk in and want to eat inside don't matter. We decided to go elsewhere for better service.

I tried ordering from the drive though and the lady was extreamly rude (her name was Alicia). I let her know the jalapeno poppers were still on the menu although they no longer carried them. I was just letting her know so they could be removed and no longer get inquiries on them. Very aggressively she let me know that they stoped carrying them Today. Also I was ordering and decided to change my order and I let her know I would like to change it. She was huffing and giving attitude so I just let her know I would go else were. Never had a problem previously.
