Read the reviews after i sat down! We went to each section I could not believe this is the best buffet in Albuquerque. It looked like most of the food had sat there since lunch and we were there at 5 pm! We started with a salad and it was good. My husband got a plate of the carved meats - could not even cut them. I decided on the Mongolian section because I could pick what I wanted and it would be fresh cooked. My husband then got a dish made at the Italian section and it was good. Ice tea was good and the desserts we tried were good (the best section). The chocolate cupcake was delicious and moist. I think the manager needs to rethink this “best” buffet soon or it’s going to be the worst.

If I could give this NO Stars i would. I got food poisoning from eating here. I will never eat at this disgusting place again. As soon as I was done eating, my stomach was starting to feel a bit upset and it’s now been 3 days and turns out I got hepatitis A from eating here. Your employees should learn to wash their hands properly when using the bathroom and should be taught a class on how to properly handle food.

It's OK. Kind of expensive on "seafood" nights for what you get. I was expecting more. The food is not bad by any means however everything I tried was a bit bland/under seasoned. There are a great variety of foods and desserts to choose from and the atmosphere is pleasant. We had a very nice time on our visit. We will be dining there again - just not on "crab leg" nights.

I've always considered this to be the best buffet in the Albuquerque area. The food is very good, in my opinion. Last night, I went with my family, everything was good, until I asked our "waiter" for a drink refill. He looked annoyed, came over to our table and tried handing me the load of dirty glassware he was taking to the back almost spilling it on me, saying "you want a drink?, hold this then". I told him "what's your problem man?" Then he said "just kidding", like if I was in on the joke. I've never been treated this way anywhere. My wife was horrified and was really upset. Joking around is one thing, but this wasn't that. To me it seemed like the guy was highly offended by my audacity to want a drink refill. Reality is, the guy is mad at the world that 1.) He is a grown man bussing tables for fat Americans at a buffet. 2.) He can barely speak english(pero yo hablan español también). I didn't get his name, but he was late 20s, to mid 30s. He looked native, maybe Guatemalan, or Salvatrucha? If you see this guy is going to be your "waiter" just ask to sit in another section.

Went for seafood night, not a very good selection, what crab legs they did have, they were dirty and covered with what seemed to be moss or algae?? Focused on other entrees, not worth the $$$$.

I would have to say that this buffet hands down is the best one in the Albuquerque area. Amazing food, they have such a large variety of food. Worth every penny. The staff at all the food area are super helpful and friendly.

I really enjoyed my meal here. I have been to both the Sunday brunch buffet and the Crab night buffet since they have done the remodel. Although the Crab night buffet is pretty expensive it is all you can eat and the wait is not as bad as Sandia casino's Crab night buffet. I think overall I liked the Sunday one best because I really don't eat enough crab to justify the price and the Sunday brunch has a little breakfast options which I enjoyed. Also the remodel was done really nice almost seems like a Vegas buffet. Overall really good will be back!

I found the food I ate, prime rib and sweet potatoes etc. great! Then I had the Japanese seafood soup wow! I was too full to try more but it all looked spectacular and the service divine as well. BTW the noodles and seafood were cooked as I waited and then added to the broth!!

We must have gone at a bad time. The sirloin was so tough we tossed it. The pasta dishes tasted prepackaged. The Asian section was fresh. We would have appreciated some fresh fruit and there may have been some but we couldn't find any. Desserts were plentiful and they had a good selection of sugar free offerings.

Waited in line to pay for 30 minutes, large family in front of us all paying separately. 4 large families behind our party of 3 people who were apparently with the large party ahead of us but arrived after us. When the family in front of us got to the register the cashier asks the gentlemen to bring everybody in the party forward. So 25 more people paying separately get to cut the entire line and we are waiting another 15 mins to pay. Finally we get to the front of the line, except the cashier starts calling vip people over to pay. Needless to say I left and will never be back to your casino.

I've ALWAYS had great food at this buffet, this is my first time visiting since the remodel. I really like the Mongolian grill addition! I had lofty expectations, but I'm sad to say was pretty disappointed in the steak and lobster night. The lobsters appear to be pre-cooked, and then steamed before serving, which makes them very rubbery and tough. The three people at our table deemed them inedible and sent them away... it broke our hearts a little because we're not generally a wasteful bunch. With lobster off the table, this was basically a seriously overpriced regular vegas-style buffet. You're breaking my heart, here, Rt66. I normally LOVE this place!

Idk what happened here, this WAS the best buffet but it's currently taking a steep dive. I've been hoping it was just a couple bad nights but it keeps getting worse. I can no longer recommend this place. At least 50% of the food was over cooked, dried out or made with the incorrect ingredients... The remodel looks nice but they have less seating now, which isnt layed out properly only exasperating the lack of seating and space. On top of which no one is actively clearing tables so they just sit there dirty. I Just paid $124 for 3 people to eat on seafood night, most of the food was not enjoyable and I was sat at a table with no silverware and no clear waiter, I had to find both. Unless you like getting ripped off there's no point in coming from Albuquerque for the crab legs until they fix whatever changed in management, staffing, or cooking. Just go to Sandia's buffet or go to one of the Crab Boil places in town. Your welcome. The staff was nice but seemed way under managed and collectively in over their heads from the lack of direction and leadership.

Sad. Went to the Route 66 Buffet for dinner on a Saturday night - first visit since the big remodel. I used to say they had the best casino buffet in New Mexico - even better than Sandia. Not anymore. Most of the food was kinda dry, and/or overcooked. Salad bar was mediocre and most of the food looked like it had been sitting out for awhile. And the new seating arrangements are awful - almost no booths, and it feels like you are sitting in a food court area at a mall. Plus the overhead lighting is too harsh, and the overall atmosphere is not relaxing. Yuck. Wish I could have the old Route 66 Casino Buffet back.

My wife and I were very impressed by their buffet. The choice of food was overwhelming and it was all very good and fresh. Our waitstaff, Marina, was awesome. She treated everyone like they were her friend and she was always nearby to attend to our needs. I would advise anyone to check out all of the selections before you start piling food on your plate or you'll most likely miss out on some of the cuisines you may have missed.

Best buffet I've ever been too . They have so many options and all of it was delicious. Plus I won 40$ on a slot machine as soon as i finished eating , so my meal was basically free.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The food is dry and gross. My meatloaf looked like tv dinner food and honestly the tv dinner food would've been better. The pizza was gross and the brisket was as hard as a rock. Now that they are remodelling nothing is the same. WORST PLACE TO EAT! WAIST OF MONEY!

My first time here and definitely my last. We arrived 30 minutes after they opened and the food tasted like it had been siting out for hours. I did enjoy the green chili stew but that was literally it. The Chinese food looked so gross, I avoided it, as well as the Latin food. The salad was withered, the two cakes I tried were super dry and the donuts were dry. I didn't eat much and left hungry. The only good experience was the waitress. She was sweet.

A very nice restaurant newly renovated less than one year. The buffet consists of American Classic (steakhouse like, pork, tritip... etc), Latin dishes, tacos, ceviche, Asian grill noodle soup, ramen and pho, Mongolian grill, Fresh veggie and salad with many tropical fruits. They even a Bakery section with pastry and good sweetness. $14.99 plus tac for adult and $9.99 for child 11 years old or younger. Come and check it out yourself. Every day has a different theme. Today is Sunday and it was Matanza. I was told Friday and Saturday are the best. Crab Boil night on Friday. Steak and Lobster Night on Saturday from 4pm to 10pm. A decent buffet experience on Sunday.

This place is nasty do not recommend food tasted old and dry if furrs tried to be fancy. spring rolls ,mint chocolate chip ice cream, and pepsi were the only good things . Plus the whole casino smells like farts and smoke. Mint chocolate chip ice cream 5/5 .if you see on the commercials all this good food it a lie there ad all over the casino for it but none of the food on the ads is at the buffet. The have five star all over the buffet but definitely a two star .

Market Fresh??? Best Buffet in NM??? All i can say is this entity is verrry far from those claims, where shall i start, lets see no organization from the moment you walk in,empty tables long lines out the door .. Buffet means AYCE not run out of something as simple as bread,pho and noodles during service, brisket was dry and couldnt be chewed, asked for a rare cut of prime rib and was told by the carver "it was rare this morning" , but i will give it to them they sure can make a mean salad , in all honesty the upper mgmt should be ashamed putting out less than mediocre product.

Came on a Thursday, paid $78 bucks for 2 adults an 2 kids. A bit pricey, but it was seafood boil night. We ate crab legs to our hearts content. The selection of food was great! Better than any of the other casinos in the area. The wait staff was friendly an kept our area clean and our drinks full.

$35.00 for crab night, are you kidding me??? Over $10 more than it was last year! I'm with everyone else, I will not be contributing to help pay for the construction of their new facility! What a shame, we really liked the food when their prices were comparible to the other casinos, not anymore. Did not taste $10 better each person this time around, good luck!

This place has a great consistent buffet. The food is excellent for a buffet, fresh, tasty and not all dried out. The cost is low and very reasonable. I highly recommend it and suggest you dont miss it.

For $30, I would have expected a much better experience! Most of the food had been out too long and was dry. The desserts were like silly putty, I couldn't even eat them. I was soo thirsty afterwards, I drank a bunch of water and thought I was good...WRONG! I woke up in the middle of the night with my lips stuck to my teeth and my tongue drier than Kathy Griffin's career! After a quart of water, you'd think I'd be good, but I woke up again needing more!! Can we talk about the floor here?? The concrete has shifted by as much as a foot or more, making the floor look like a small mountain range! You're walking up, walking down, changing gears... I've never seen anything like it! Almost tripped several times! Needless to say, there won't be a repeat visit.

Sorry can't give 5 stars one star is one too many, wife and I visited there several weeks ago, no one was in the Mongolian grill, breakfast food was all dryed out, half of the stations were abandoned, food was not hot it was around 2:30 when we were there disappointed not what I expected by the commercials wasted my money

Me and my family usually enjoy eating here, but unfortunately my fiance and daughter got food poisoning. Not a good experience, both ate some clams so they may have not been handled properly. But on a good note our waitress was awesome.

My family & I went to the new buffet on New Year’s Eve. It was good but not $37.99 good. Yes, you read right. $37.99! The service was excellent but that’s about the only thing that was. The lasagne was soupy & runny. I guess someone has to pay for the new restaurant, but it’s not going to be me. 4 adults and 1 child came out to over $170!

I work there they fired me cuz of my tattoo on my face they were discriminated against me they're making me work overtime not giving me no breaks lunch breaks or nothing you have to eat while you're washing the dishes you can't really take a break other workers are not helping you out some of the workers are not even washing the dishes correctly when they dry them to wipe the food's off them the food's all right but my wife got sick off the crab legs the manager there is very scream Nation against a lot of people so that's why I don't work there no more so I wouldn't guarantee to go eat there with your family it's not very good it's alright it can be better so have a nice time there if you get sick you know why some of the workers will be coughing and their nose to be running while they're cooking the food to so watch out for that

Nice complete buffet. Friendly attentive server. $11.99 each adult without a Players Club Card. $ 9.99 with. Easy self parking, but valet is also available. The buffet has lots of freshly made salads, and soup. There's pizza, a fresh hot pasta section, Chinese and Mexican choices, turkey and dressing, a Carving stand for roasted meats, and a wide variety of desserts, including soft serve ice cream. Restrooms are clean and conveniently located. There is also a hotel meeting rooms, a truck stop and day care for children up to 12. We enjoyed our dinner there.
