Food was great, I ordered the green Chile bacon sliders. The decor and style of this place is nice. The only place where it lacked was the service being kind of slow and how loud it gets in there when everyone is talking, echoes all around.

It seemed like it was going well. The manager Chuck stopped and said hello, brought me a Alibi paper so I could see what was happening that night. The beer was good the chicken sliders we're very good. The bartender was a jerk. He did not bring me utensils or a napkin for dinner. No water and no drink with dinner. Then when I asked he half made the water and then started talking with friends. I asked for my tab and waited and waited and waited along with a customer next to me to pay our tabs. I had to get up and find a manager so I could pay. Left very disappointed!!!!

We really enjoy Brixens. The food is interesting and tasty, the staff is good. They have a cool way of acknowledging special events if you let them know in advance. Good gluten free options.

A gem in Central Ave's Crown! Fun, inventive food with nods to bar Staples. An amazing beer selection, both in and out of season. The menu compliments the South Western pallet, while being carnivore, vegetarian, and vegan friendly!! The staff is amazing, attentive and knowledgeable!! The decor is trendy enough to trick your trendy friends, and humble enough for the "simpler folk"..

Truly an excellent restaurant especially if you have any sort of dietary requirements. I'm vegan myself and almost everything on the menu has a thoughtful vegan/GF/vegetarian option. The owners daughter is the head chef IIRC and is\was vegetarian and really knows how to make a filling, tasteful, rich cruelty free option of almost anything. I cannot recommend this place enough. Oh and the cocktail are pretty good as well, nothing incredible but certainly well priced.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. Service was fast and they kept my drink full. What more could you ask for. Only thing I could not pick would be there was a little too much seasoning on the fries, but the dipping sauce helped cut down the flavor a bit.

I am not even exaggerating when I wanna cry while eating my food hahaha.. I ordered the blue cheese mushroom sliders with the fries! It was my first time here on my lunch break and I will be back for sure. Everyone was so nice! Thank you to the host at the front for being patient with me selecting what I wanted to order & for recommending the sliders. It is hard to find good food and good service nowadays! Try it out!

It's a great place to hangout, and the food is good. The location is right at the corner and has great views of central. But with all that said, It's also close to all the bars and there is vomit on the sidewalks and the windows are dirty too.

I was invited to a bachelorette party here. It's not often we can get a big group of people together and everyone be able to share and eat pretty much everything on the menu... Basically everything could be made vegan or vegetarian. Waitress was accommodating with split checks (though it took a few tries to get it all sorted out) and highchairs for the babies. The brussel sprouts were excellent!

Cool looking space, with a very inviting atmosphere. When we went the restaurant was relatively empty, but it took our waitress so long to take our drink order and even longer to take our food order. Food and appetizers came out at the same time and our meat was all overcooked. Nothing bad just wasn't the greatest experience.

I stopped by during happy hour and sat at the bar. The happy hour cocktails were good...a blueberry basil margarita and a cucumber mint spritz. I ordered the green chili sliders with onion strings which were delicious and the perfect amount of food. My only complaint was that the service was a little slow. Thankfully, I was not in a hurry and I imagine it was due to a shift change. I would definitely be back for the drinks and food though.

Very much enjoyed my happy hour at this place on a Wednesday. I enjoyed the dips and chips. Didn't enjoy the queso. The brussel sprouts were tops! Staff always made my drink was full. I think the wings were great too. I will go back next time I am in town

Loud, crowded, and the food takes a while to get to your table. The cost is also fawking outrageous. Its aesthetically pleasing and it almost fools you to think this isn't in Albuquerque...then the servers reminded you where you were.

The service was really great, the high ceilings made the restaurant too loud, and we were mixed on the food. We got some vegan options and my partner thought everything was amazing. I thought it was fine. Not bad, but nothing special. I do love that they make their vegan dressings and burger patty food from scratch in house, though. Also, kudos to our waiter Chad (iirc) for being so kind and chatty even though you could tell he was hustling through a dinner rush!

Holy choices!! So they can make everything on the menu pretty much exactly how you want even though its delicious as is. Margarita was bomb I got the fried chicken sliders and yessss those were amazing and a good amount of chicken waitress was friendly and funny. We will for sure be back

I found this spot walking down the street and it was a party all around. This place seemed pleasant and clean when I walked in. I couldny believe how nice the staff was including the owner. I was surprised they were not busier. The food was great and made to order exactly how I wanted it. I barely ate 1\2 my food and ate the rest for breakfast. When I come back to ABQ I will be back. Live music during slow times would be great

Brixens has a great downtown classy feel with modern touches. The service was great! We were greated immediately, and it really set the tone for the night. Gisele at the front was so amazing! We got the table we preferred and the great service just continued. You order by I pad, which is a cool touch. The drinks are great and the food tastes as good as it looks! We will definitely be back here often!

The menus are digital, and it’s a little more complicated than it needs to be - but I like it. Always a nice place to get dinner or lunch with friends, and hands down my place for good cocktails downtown.

Very nice vibe, and some very creative food (the chimi burger I had was in a tortilla wrap not a bun and then fried - not as unhealthy as it sounds). Though the burger was great I'm dropping a star since the sprouts were not very warm and the beer was all cans not draft.

Celiac Friendly, with delicious Gluten Free food! Courtney, our waitress, and the hostess were awesome and fun. My GF pasta with grilled chicken, spinach, artichokes, bacon, and asparagus was seriously the best GF meal I've had a restaurant. The GF brownie was tied for the best dessert I've ever had out, and everyone was super careful to make sure that my food was Gluten Free. Most dishes can be prepared Vegan, Vegetarian, or GF. My husband loved his tacos and the tremendous beer selection. The crowd was fun and friendly. Meter parking on the street was tricky, but worth the walk.

I don't even know where to begin with this review. I'm going to walk you through one of the BEST dining experiences I've ever had, starting at the hostess desk (and we eat out ALL the time and travel ALL over): Totally friendly greeting early Saturday evening. We walked in and the hostess let us know when their next reservation was coming in so we could decide if we wanted a table or bar seating. (We picked table). She told us who our server was going to be and completely cleaned off two iPads, then explained to us how to use them for the menu and more detail on the menu items. Totally great start. Our server Chad came over and my bf Fred ordered us two Belgian Blond with Guava beers. Chad surprised us by removing the middle of the table and opening up an ice chest in the center of the table!!! He poured us half glasses of beer, then set the cans on ice to keep it cool. Boom! Mind blown. What a terrific idea. He then went on to tell us about a couple of menu items. Not just about how good they were, but like details on how they're made. The wings for example, have an entire process and once they arrived on our table, we understood why. They were F**** FANTASTIC!!! He also enthusiastically told us about all the sauces that came out with our selections, and how everything is house made. The fry sauce with our pickles was outstanding. The fried pickles were perfectly battered. We split a panini and a salad and they totally plated everything separate for us. Even the salad was really, really good. Croutons and dressing were delicious. We were checked on just the right amount; drinks refilled at the right time, and I cannot think of a place I've been with better service from start to finish, and the food was absolutely outrageous. You can truly taste the love that the family owners must put into their recipes and business as a whole. Our next trip to Albuquerque will start with another visit to Brixens. The dining experience was unreal.

First time coming to Brixens seemed like a great idea. The environment is great. However, the staff are extremely slow. Our table had to ask our server for lemons five times before we recieved them (around 30 minutes). In addition, the food order was incorrect in various forms but was corrected quickly. If visiting near summer, beware of the subpar cooling solutions that plague this place. It will get hot in there and make you feel uncomfortable.

We're in town to see the area for a potential job relocation and decided on a late dinner here at Brixens - wow! Everything was great! Our server, Ian, is one of the best we've ever had - conversational, friendly, knowledgeable, patient (we couldn't make up our minds on what we wanted to try first), and efficient. The menu boasts that everything is made from scratch so it will take a bit longer to get your meal but that's fine by us! They also mentioned using sustainability sourced seafood, antibiotic free chickens and something about the beef too (cannot remember) so you feel better about eating here. I feel like Chef Ramsey would be so pleased with this place. Food was flavorful, unique, good portions, and the menu wasn't too big or complicated. Oh! Speaking of the menu, since it's on a tablet, you get a brief description of the item and can click on it for more info which includes allergen and dietary info as well as a more detailed description (even for drinks!). The only thing I didn't like was that it was just a little loud for my preference but it's one big open room. This doesn't deter me from a 5 star score or from going again. Thank you Brixens! My 1st time at Brixens. Love the decor and use of technology for menus. Brilliant. I ordered the Chile Bacon Burger Sliders with fries. Wonderful. Cooked like I asked. The queso was hot and oozing out of slider. I thought the fries were going to be those foo foo string fries. No, they were crispy skinny, but not string! Came with this great tasty sauce for dipping. Must go back to try other items! Just a hiccup with hostess that's the missing

The food is delicious but the server I had was rude AF. The type who asked you if you needed something but didn’t stick around for the answer. I let the management know and later he rolled his eyes at me with some bar back named Oscar. Hipster joint, yes. But even hipster places can have respectable service. What made it even more annoying was when I let the owner know about this and the eye-rolling, he put it on me like I was reading into it. Saying he hoped the good food would bring me back. Obviously not a clue about the total experience. One star.

This restaurant is incredible. Most all menu items can be made vegan. It is explained how the dish is made vegan. The chef did a great job making tasty thoughtful substitutes for vegans. It’s not the typical ‘no cheese, no sauce’ bland vegan options at most places. The portion sizes are great. The pricing is a little up there but well worth it. The vibe is very friendly and there are games available to play while you wait. It’s perfect to bring your not yet vegan friends and family to enjoy a delicious meal where you don’t feel like ‘that person’ asking about the all the vegan options. The staff is very friendly and knowledable. I will definitely be returning! Also something to note is the menu items are made from scratch so an extended waiting time is to be expected. Nevertheless, well worth it!

This is my new Favorite downtown spot! We came during lunchtime with a group of 12. We received our food quick and everything was delicious! I ordered the chicken salad and it was soooo yummy! My friends ordered the sliders and they thought they were tasty! My appetizers were delicious- we ordered the Brussels sports and fried pickles!
