Amazing food!!! A must visit for anyone looking for that great dinner local in Santa Fe. Staff was friendly from the moment we walked in. The flavored and spices of the food was outstanding and their desserts...OMG. A must order is the L&L Cheese Tots with truffles!!!!!

Bouche offers a lovely ambience and excellent service, but both entrees we had tonight were just “OK”. The brandade was rather bland, while the coq au vin was nothing special for the price. But the wine was outstanding, as was the cheese plate, dessert and espresso. The availability of free onsite parking so close to the Plaza is a real bonus.

Called this afternoon for a reservation and was told the only available table was at 9:15pm. I then asked if walk-ins were accepted and the man who answered said I should have booked one to two days in advance for the weekend and 'hoped to see me on a future visit' - then hung up on me! I can understand if you are booked but I cannot abide that level of rudeness... with the attitude I received I don't see that happening.

We went there ,expecting great food but we were disappointed. The service was excellent,great choice of wine but my expensive steak au poivre was cold with no taste of poivre. My friend had the fish of the day and it was also very mediocre. We ordered the opera cake . It tasted like they made it few days ahead and froze it. My two stars are for service and plateau de fromage. That’s it

I dined there for the first time last week (June 7th) and it was EXCELLENT. The server could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Two of us cycled through 5-6 dishes and each exceeded our expectations. I will definitely stop there again on a visit to Santa Fe.

I have dined at Bouche many times in the past three years. Last night was my first disappointment. We had 7pm reservations and were promptly seated which was nice. However, it took the server almost thirty minutes to even take our wine order. We ordered starter courses which took a long time to come out. Then entrees took another thirty minutes or so before they appeared. It became a three hour dinner with most of it waiting for something. I had the swordfish special and it was very over cooked and dry. The portions were tiny. My fish couldn't have been more than a 3 oz serving. It was appetizer size, not an entree portion. It was served on a bed of chard that was maybe three inches wide, and that was it. I hope this was a one time off evening. Chef was there at the helm and I do love what he done at Bouche. Will try again with hopes of a better experience soon..

Been here multiple times and it is one of our favorite restaurant in town. The service is impeccable and everyone who works here has passion for food and wine. The ambiance is excellent and reminds us of bistro in France. There are dishes that I would not get again but there are so many dishes that I would get again that keeps us coming back.

The $14 ceasar salad had brown old lettuce. The pheasant was covered in a cheap tasting teriyaki like sauce. The steak tartare tasted like eating straight up horseradish. I would not recommend this place.

I proposed to my fiance just before our reservation time at Bouche. We got to the restaurant a little early and the wonderful maitre d recommended we have a drink while they accommodate us. Minutes later we were sat. They learned of our engagement and the chef himself came over to offer congrats. They treated us like family from the first moment, to the last. I can honestly say I would recommend this perfect restaurant to anyone for any occasion.

It was our first visit to BOUCHE FRENCH BISTRO, so we were both excited to sample the wonderful smells from the kitchen. We started with the Caesar Salad and the Butternut Squash and Blue Crab Soup. Both appetizers were absolutely delightful; my Caesar Salad had a light citrusy-dressing which was extremely pleasant. For entrees, I ordered the Lamb Shank with Vegetable-Orzo, and my wife ordered the Branzino in Lemon Butter with Asparagus. Both were WOW Mouthwatering Fantastic! Now, I’m used to a traditional lamb shank smothered in a ruby-dark tomato, wine and veal stock, but this shank was very different – it was cooked in a light clear lamb au jus – very unique and absolutely delicious! It went very well with my Merlot. To complete our fabulous feast, we ordered a Crème Brûlée and a Lemon Tart – both super Yummy! My Crème Brûlée came with a candle (for my birthday – Oh, I forgot to mention the surprise birthday glasses of house champagne at the beginning of our meal). My wife also had a rich cappuccino, which she thoroughly enjoyed. When done, we were completely satiated and happy, and vowed to return again soon. Service was outstanding – our server Alena was constantly attentive to our needs. And the warm ambience is absolutely charming. One of my best birthday dinners ever! Highly recommended.

The restaurant was short staffed and unusually busy on the Tuesday night we came for dinner. But despite apologies from the staff our meal was served in a reasonable amount of time and the food was delicious. Everyone in the restaurant stepped up to make it work and we couldn’t have been happier. Thomas and Sean were awesome. Highly recommended.
