Where has this place been all my life?! We were in the area yesterday and stumbled upon this restaurant with a giant cartoon pig on the store front. When we got in, everyone was friendly. They have huge stone pans at each table where they bbq all of your meat orders and some sides. The food was delicious! Definitely get the bibimbap rice for 1.99 per order at the end. Your meat leftovers from the first part are combined with rice and sauces and create a whole new dish in front of you. YUM!

Speaks very negative about even his own customers in korean no matter where they are from. Guess he isnt man enough to tell the to their face in their language. Food is very expensive for what you get. Needs new management

I went to Chinese House with my family last weekend. It was past lunch hour but we had to wait for 15 minutes to be seated. We ordered black noodles, fried shrimps, and other dishes. Food came out fast and portion was big. We really enjoyed our dine and I highly recommend this place.

Kinda expensive for the portion that you receive, but then again, that's how most korean BBQ are these days. It serves appetizer dishes to you by heating up ample amount of kimchi and bean sprout on the pan, not much else since there is really no table space for it. The marinated meat are flavorful, but you should eat it as soon as it gets cooked as there is really no space for the waiter to place it and it will end up burnt. Between the owner, the waiter, and the bus girl, they can speak English, Korean, Chinese, and Spanish. The waiter and the owner are pretty fast, attentive, and considerate in serving. My only gripe was with the taste, I'm not sure if my tongue was numb with taste because I started with something that had heavier taste or that the sauce just dont pack much taste, because I started to feel that everything taste about the same toward the end. Oh well...

An iconic restaurant near Central Park. I will always have many fond memories at this beautiful place. I have been going for years now. It was my go to bar after art classes many times. I was always greeted with smiles even if it was just for a drink. I brought many friends here while in town for a conference and it became many of they're place to go for a great martini. They dont have as many infused vodkas as they did before a momentary close but I still enjoy going. The different floors are breathtaking! My daughter got married here two years ago and the whole restaurant team did an amazing job with the food all the way up to the large ice bear with vodka! Loved the caviar too! So many friends said that was the most fun they had at a wedding EVER!

This is far and away the best place for samgyeopsal that my wife and I have been to in this country. I think it is about as close to what we experienced when we lived in Korea that we have found. The service is very nice and friendly, but like many places around, they do pretty much all of the cooking for you. What really makes this place stand out is that they do not rush you at all. You can order more food at anytime, and hang out for as long as you want. They understand how to adjust the temp on the grill so that your food cooks quickly, but then does not dry out so you can take your time eating. When we visited, they asked if we were ready for the next meat we ordered before they brought it, which again really lent to the feeling of being relaxed and not rushed. We also ordered hangjeongsal, which was frozen, but still tasted great. Banchan is pretty standard. There was even a soju girl that came in while we were there, passing out gifts if you ordered a bottle of Chum Churum. It really felt like being back in Korea. This place is the best place in the city for BBQ, and well worth the trek to Flushing if you are not already in the area. The nice thing is it is literally right next to the LIRR Broadway stop, which makes the trip a little easier. There are also plenty of Norae Bangs and Hofs in the area if you want to make an evening of it.

One of the best Korean BBQ in NYC. The place is slightly on the small side so there could be a short waiting time to get seated. The staff is very attentive and the atmosphere is very casual. Parking is limited to metered curb-side and a couple of marked spots across the street up to 7pm only. Afterwards parking is free. The Broadway Station on the LIRR Port Washington Line is directly across the street also.

Service is excellent! Staff and owners are very friendly! Food is good. Portions are decent but a tad over priced for the amount of food (especially for the bbq meats) Banchan is very limited compared to other typical Korean restaurants. The kimchi is extra sour. Tastes almost like an entire lemon was mixed into it. The fried rice for $3.99 is a good deal though it would have been much better if the sour kimchi wasn't mixed in. Overall it's a good meal and we enjoyed our experience.
