Mediocre food. I dont like how they charge adult price for kids over 5 ft. My 12 yr old daughter is 5'1" and eats very little. It was $24.95. So we wont go back as a family. Not worth it. Another family behind us had same issue.

jun14: station 5. Dinner 9pm: food is fine. but shocked by the dishonesty of the waitress. We paid 55 cash n give her 10%discount coupon. She never came back w our receipt,neither the change. When we finally asked about the receipt 20 minutes later, she said she thought we did not need it and came back w it. It shows pay $50- $47.96 (our bill ) w 2.04 changes. (We did not get it) She pocket $5 n went to paid $50 in regester n also kept $2.04. Before we can guestion her, she disappeared.we have been yr restaurant many times,this is the first time it happened. We hope other do not fall in the same trap. No matter how good the food is, services we rate zero star.

We usually go to grand buffet past the freehold mall but they are gone. So I saw the reviews for this place and it’s busy. Unfortunately I won’t be coming back. Everything I ate was cold except for the broccoli. They have crabs at dinner time . Yipee. Unfortunately they only put a very small amount out and the jumbo guy ahead of me took most of them. He was kind enough to hand me the tongs. Sushi is fresh. Clams no so good. The selection is fine but my appetite has been ruined by the fact that nothing hot. The manager said they turned up the steam but too late. Not coming here again.

My experience originally was with the Mays Landing location. And I've always loved it! Great food, great prices, courteous staff, clean facility, BUFFET TAKEOUT!!! During my last trip down, I was crushed to see that the place appeared to be closed... Then I discovered this one in Freehold! I was so excited! It's even better than I remember. This location has even more options (new rolls I've never seen and brown rice options) and the food tastes better than ever. I live 45 minutes away but you can bet I'll be making the drive! Five stars for sure!!

The wait time was more than expected. When we got seated the soup was warm and The drinks had paper in them. The cool tool bout half an hour before he came out. The food was just OK. Could have been a lot better

Summary: an okay buffet restaurant. Some of the sushi freshness was questionable. Other variety of foods were good. Plenty of seating. They take credit cards. I came here for a graduation party and the food was okay. They have a private room in the back for parties which is a plus. The room also has a stage for karaoke. I have to say I was not very impressed by the food. They have a lot of sushi to offer and most of the rolls and sashimi were okay but some did not seem too fresh. There were also raw oysters which is definitely not recommended because it tasted too fishy. They also have a mini hibachi station where you can order stir fried noodles and meats which was yummy. The ice cream freezer was not cold enough so the ice cream was melty, very disappointing. Unfortunately, not sure if I would come back here on my own unless they improve on the freshness of their food.

We came here for habbachi. As our starters were arriving, one of the salads had a hair in it. We notified the employee and we got a discount. As more food started to come out we found ANOTHER hair in our food. Again we notified the employee and got a larger discount. They did handle it well, however I could do without that experience. Will not be returning.

This place is HORRIBLE. The place is completely dirty and that's not the worst part. It was a weekend that my family and I went. We were excited to eat at a new place but it turned out that we were served with uneatable food. The noddles were hard, the beef was not fully cooked, the cookies from the dessert area were extremely hard, the ice cream seemed like it was sitting there for a month, the scooper for the ice cream was sitting in dirty water, the "coca cola" I ordered seemed as if it were mixed with faucet water and to top it all off the bill was EXPENSIVE. To be served with stale food is unfair. We are paying customers. It takes about an hour and a half to get to this location from where I reside and it was truly a disappointment to experience this. Sorry for the long review but these words must be written and seen.

If there was minus 1 star i would do it. Never seen something so horrible in my 22 years in the USA. Food was colder than room temperature, i swear on it, 6 different items. Of course that was my experience. All the manager said was that they turned up the steam, i just left. HORRIBLE!

Great place to come for good Japanese food. Great tasting sushi and sashimi, however I would definitely expect a Japanese sushi restaurant to have a few more choices. They also have a selection of grilled seafood, lamb, and beef. Besides the lack of sushi selection, my only other complaint is that the staff is not very friendly. Getting a refill on your drink can sometimes take 20 minutes or more. They're customer service was a lot better when they first opened. No longer our families go to sushi spot.

The food is good but, some of the items were cold. Ive been there 5 times and STILL haven't had the crab legs. Whenever i went up, it was ALWAYS empty. Most of the foods under the steam lids were not labeled and when i ask the cooks what each one was, she did not understand me and i could not understand her. I wasn't able to eat any of them because i did not know what they were. Don't think i will return

For a buffet it's super good. Excellent sushi and sashimi. I always fill up on it first. They also have a flat grill where they cook all different meat skewers that are fantastic. Veal, salmon, steak, etc. They have a dim sum bar and the standard Asian buffet food which is kept very fresh. The place is legit. When I want to rock a cheat day and eat 7000 calories this is my spot. They also have private rooms for parties if you'd like.

Excellent selection and variety of sushi together with a great lunch special price make this buffet a top pick in the area. Add to that an additional selection of standard asian buffet menu items and hard self serve ice creams and you have yourself a great buffet! They also have one large room dedicated to tableside hibachi which I have not sampled.

Never disappointed my family. Been coming here for years. Sushi and Sashimi’s are always fresh. A bit pricey on Fridays to Sundays but still worth it. Don’t forget to bring your own alcohol.

The variety of sushi is wide however it is a bit difficult if you do not like raw sushi I found in comparison to other sushi bars the which offered equal variety. Presentation of the displays were appealing but in retrospect found the flavor to be slightly sub par.

This buffet was not our states, we are spanish and we go frequently to different asian buffet's. The food in general has barely any taste. We where a party of two and they charged us $48.92. We've spent this amount at other place's and more but really it is not worth it. HORRIBLE!!!!

The only downside going here is, without fail, it is someone's birthday. We know their birthday song routine by heart due to how often my friends & I go. The sushi is always fresh. The prices fluctuate if you go during the week vs during the weekend. Service has always been fairly timely for us. The other side of the buffet is standard food-stuffs. I'm rating this 4 stars for now as I haven't experienced the hibachi there, so I can't give a full review.

This restaurant use to be good. It no longer is. We went for a late dinner but the restaurant still had several people eating and going up to buffet. Regardless of this, trays were empty and several items that were available were cold and looked like they been sitting all day. We expressed our disappointment and 10$ was taken off our bill, but the restaurant is on the pricey side so this wasn't a good compensation. The quality of the food is not what it was several years ago. We will not be returning.

The food was fresh and tasted great. The atmosphere is different than the Chinese buffets around. Well decorated and there is a good variety of sushi. We will try the Hibachi table next time we come here. The only negative thing I could say about this restaurant is that the servers just slam down the check whenever they think it's convenient for the customers to leave. I think it's rude. Otherwise I would rate a 5 star.

I just came from having a party in their private room. They charged me for the food but not the room and we were there about three hours. Wow! Extraordinary variety, everything was delicious, my only complaint is the crab legs didnt get refilled fast enough. The second they refilled it, it was empty. People were standing at the crab space waiting for it to arrive and then taking nearly all of it...they need to prepare twice as much and refill twice as often... my visits were fine until I went into the bathroom to find it smells like absolute s*** and period blood. Totally unusable and definitely hasn't been cleaned in months. One of the workers walked in, went into a stall, and through the mirror I saw her standing in place putting on lipstick. I was instantly turned off. How come no one cleans up? Meanwhile dude who owns the place is standing at the end of the buffet line with an idiot smile and staring at the people choosing their food. The food is decent, some good, and overall inexpensive. First impression was great, obviously because I kept coming back, but with more visits I came to find this place is actually grimy.

Awful awful awful...I mean we did come 1 hour b4 closing but still if ur allow customers to enter ur restaurant make sure the food is edible and it wasn’t so the manager gave us 15% off we would’ve been better off getting take out especially when our bill was almost $100 never ever again!!

I would have expect more variety for the price. On the sushi area, there was a foul smell. Food taste wasn’t great either, it was ok.

The food selection is one of the better ones I have seen at a Japanese or Chinese buffet. The sashimi and sushi were a plenty. The rest is the usual fare of different types of meat, veggies, fried, steamed food. The steamed savory and sweet buns were a nice touch. The desserts were nice; which range from ice cream to cheese cake and fruits. The staff was nice, the restaurant was big and well spaced. I will definitely be going there again when I visit Jersey.

Lunch buffet party of 6. Sat down promptly. Ordered water and hot tea. Started with sushi ( California rolls, shrimp tempura, rainbow rolls, etc). It went good nothing amazing about it. Gradually moved on to dumplings (pork and shrimp). Main plate consisted of chicken and broccoli with fried rice and string beans. I wish they had coconut shrimp and not chicken. Did not get a chance to try the orange chicken after a customer reached over and her sleeve interacted with the chicken. This is the only buffet where they have ice cream. Server was prompt in refilling water and hot tea. If they had Mongolian grill then I would give them a higher score. 8.5/10

I liked it very much. I had a 10% off buffet coupon (must pay pay cash) . Meal, tax and tip came to $13.50. Beverage not included so I had water. When seated, you get a cloth napkin, fork and spoon. My waitress also brought some paper napkins. There are many food selections, including sushi, dim sum, soups, teriyaki, steamed veggies, fish, peeled cooked shrimp and lots more. Service was very good removing dirty plates. Buffet choices were refilled promptly. Just wish I could have had a knife to cut up a few things. Tokyo Sushi is popular and it was reassuring to see many Asian folks enjoying the food.

I love sushi and I eat a lot of it, this place does me pretty well. I HIGHLY recommend going on a weekday during lunch since its so cheap (it's like $12 a person) but on the weekend the price goes up to about $17 a person. The sushi buffet portion is nice with a variety sushi. It is a relatively clean place. The servers are very nice. If I had one complaint, it's that they take a while to put out a new tray. Besides that it's very good for the weekday price.

My family and friends drive all the way from Toms River to come eat here. Lots of very delicious Japanese and Chinese foods. Taste amazing. Fried udon, amazing lo mein, calamari, scallops, clams, fresh sushi, sashimi, crabs, crab legs, Peking duck baos. Different dim sum options. Classic Chinese and Japanese fare. THIS PLACE HAS GREEN TEA AND RED BEAN ICE CREAM!!!

Pretty surprised! I am not familiar with this area but this restaurant is totally worth of visiting. The restaurant is spacious. Seating is plenty. It can host any size of your party. We had the buffet here. Food refill rate is awesome. Fresh & delicious! Staffs are friendly and the service is also prompt. The price is also cheap for the choice and service you got. $17 for a Saturday lunch.... A+

Definitely has taken a downturn at lunch for Buffet. Bathrooms filthy. Saw the wet floor sign thinking they had just cleaned?? No. The signs are all mislabeled so trying different dishes is a total crapshoot. Sushi and dim sum was just ok. The few Staff that spoke English were very nice.

Never ever write reviews but I felt compelled because I see poor reviews and there shouldn’t be any. I went with my family of 7 (not from nor familiar with the area) and it’s not often you can go into a buffet and every single thing on your plate is good. We were seated quickly on a busy Saturday night. Yes they are pricey compared to other buffets but you get what you pay for. This place was amazing and the food is fresh, definitely recommend.

Good selection of hot foods and sushi is always fresh. BYOB is great to save about $30-40 per person of your bill for drinks alone! That alone is worth the price of admission! Service is ok but this is a buffet, remember? As always, unlimited free drinks. I’m an ice tea guy with a squeeze of lemon or two. There’s always someone behind the food counter but you’ll not even notice them as you go through the great food selection. Well, you’ll notice the guy at the bar-b-que grill, as you’ll have to interact with him to have him cook your clams, beef, etc. the desert bar has a selection of fresh fruits and cakes and pastries. There’s also some pastries by the dumpling area but that’s kind of hidden/unknown under their stainless steel pots. Ice cream selection is great! Many flavors are available and always better than the traditional vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate. Try green tea, mung bean, taro, and a few other! Not overly sweet and always a great!

I went here for the buffet. Food quality was low, so I didn't eat much. Seafood in sushi was watery and seemed like it was frozen. Even the fake crab was watery. However the rice and seaweed was dry which made a weird texture.

It's a good place for big families and small families alike to go and have good food and enjoy inch other's company. And the restaurant over all has a good and friendly atmosphere and the surface was great.

Great place for a Japanese lunch buffet for the weekday I am not sure if it's worth it any other time but the food is very tasty. It does take a while for fresh food to come out

As far as buffets go, this one has to be the best. The sushi is fresh unlike the typical Asian fusion buffet. Food quality and price cannot be beat.

bad place. I went there and ask for crab leg, the woman there said "No more" because she dont want to bring out anymore crab legs for you. Will not come back again

By far best buffet in the area, which doesn't say much because every nearby buffet is trash. However, they have an extensive array of fairly decent quality sushi and various hibachi items. Not everything is great but I've learned what I like and stick to it. Can't beat prices for lunch. Definitely a recommended spot!
