This small cafe is nicely located in a strip mall in Fort Lee not too far from George Washington Bridge. They offer variety of loose leaf teas, weekend brunch, shaved ice and mix of Korean and American food. Service is good and people are always friendly.

Various choices and reasonable price. Difficult to say food tastes excellent. Foods are generally good. But, super kindness that you can never experience in restautents in Manhattan.

Great selection process of teas. Food is healthy, dressing is by default on a side. Many non-fried options: grilled fish, steamed veggies. Very delicious. Service is very fast.

The atmosphere, cleanliness, service, and drinks were great (hence 'The Tea Bar'), but I was a little miffed by the quality of dessert and foods they served us for what it's worth. I ordered the lava cake and what I expected was cake with "lava" (molten chocolate) that will ooze out from the center (as per most lava cakes), but what you really get is a sponge cake topped with a thick, goopy sugary paste and an icecream. I ended up not finishing because it was sickeningly sweet. The selection for this particular menu item was a little confusing because they don't label the selection for the cake options and the selection for the icecream options, so you'd almost think the icecream flavors are part of the cake options. The Guksi noodle soup I ordered was aromatic but very bland. The meat was tender but just as bland as the soup. I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to taste but most Korean dishes I know are flavorful. Overall, it would be good to go there for the coffee and the large tea selections, but there are a lot of better food places/bakeries/restaurants around for the same price range.

The Tea Bar is really something special! The location is nice but it is rather small. It adds to the quaint charm but you may have to wait to sit. The variety of tea is truly outstanding! The equipment is modern and everything is very nice and clean. The food is a little pricy in my opinion, but it tastes good and is pretty fresh. Makes for a fun first date~ Their cheese cake and non-spicy rice cakes are a great choice! They make a good rice bowl for those new to Korean cuisine as well and recently started a buffet hour I am eager to try! I only gave 4 stars due to the price and limited seating.

Love the tea and cakes. Three visits I wanted to purchase loose tea leaves and waitress brought over 4 cups of teas when I wanted to purchase the leaves. Did they really think we wanted more tea even after we drank a large tea post and had 3 cakes?? lol.

Never had food here but manager at this store come yells at everyone parking at this parking lot. It is really unpleasant especially he is literally yelling. I just wanted to check out the ramen place across the street before ACTUALLY eating at yamagata which is in same plaza within parking lot.

Amy De Silva

Worse service. I signed my bill and left, and the waitress literally ran after me to my car in the parking lot in front of customers asking for a tip. I couldn’t understand her at first. And turned around and proceeded to walk towards my car. She ran up to me the 2ND time and screamed tip. It was like out of a movie scene I was shocked. This is not a restaurant, it’s a cafe. I’ve never tipped for bagels at a cafe. This is rude, uncalled for and harassment. I was this close to calling the police. Never again. Don’t run after customers and harass them for tips when you didn’t even provide a service, plus you’re not a restaurant.

Sad that it's right next to the Caffe Bene--this tandem of cafes are just a force to be reckoned with. The Tea Bar is a wonderful and relaxing place that sells an assortment of snacks along with--you guessed it--tea! The teas are good, and most notable for me is their Bing Soo. Much more robust than their competition, Tea Bar's Bing Soo is a dessert that I would make my long drive to get to. Just make sure you're not eating it alone, because the thing is massive enough for 4 people to share!

(Translated by Google) The tiramisu has a good creamy taste but it has a lot of bread so it didn't feel like tiramisu. Red Velvet doesn't taste bread, it's sticky and it goes well with cream. It's a bit sweet in my mouth but it'll taste great with coffee. The tea is peach-based and has a gentle scent.

I was a bit surprised that this place called “The Tea Bar” was actually Korean food restaurant, as I always thought they were another bubble tea kind of place. The inside was bright and spacious. Definitely not a place to get just tea. They had a good amount of table seating. We went on a weekend, and they had weekend brunch buffet. It sounded good, but they were not the kinds of food (Korean food) we were looking for. The only Korean dish I found on the buffet counter was Kimchi Rice. It would have been really interesting if all or most of the dishes served on the buffet were Korean dishes. Since we were there to try some Korean dishes, we didn’t go for the buffet. From their regular menu, we ordered K-Town Fries and Bibimguksu to share. They were both really good portion, enough to share among the two of us. The dishes, especially Bibimgusku was very spicy. We like spicy food, so it was good, we enjoyed it a lot. The owner was working the floor, and he brought us some complimentary soup. Then, after seeing my husband sweating with heat from the spicy food, he brought another soup, telling him that it will help with the spiciness. Really nice! By sharing the starter and main, we saved some room for desserts! We also decided to order tea to go with our dessert. This is where the name of this restaurant, “The Tea Bar” made total sense to me. Their tea menu was quite extensive! They had around 50 teas. Yes, that is not a typo, but 50 teas! We ordered Green Rooibos Key West from recommendation of the owner. For dessert, we ordered Red Velvet Lava Cake and Original Cheesecake. The cheesecake was really delicious, I am so glad we ordered that one! It was a very pleasant brunch. Everything was very delicious, satisfying and very affordable. The service was nice, the owner took a good care of us and made us feel welcomed. I would like to go back again and try out more of their tasty menus. Read my food blog for my full review of this restaurant and food.

We have passed by on several occasions to go into the bakery ,(Cafe Bebe), next door. Today, we decide to come in and we are glad we did. The service was impeccable. The waiter and manager answered all our questions , and were attentive to our needes . When our orders arrived the presentation was impressive and the taste was beyond our expectations. This is a hidden jewel for the locals. Eddie and Wendy from Manhattan NY

Great place to drop by for brunch, lunch or a fast bite. Bring family, friends and kids. They have food choices for most tastes. If you like there is a brunch/lunch buffet. The food choices may change, but for when I took my family and extended family here we took a table for 6. And had fried eggs, Canadian bacon, sausages(including spicy choice), hamburgers, fried rice, seaweed soop, paninis, baled salmon, and a large asortmant of hot tea selection. Yammy! The bill came out to $100. Buy for the amount of food and people, clean quiet environment. So worth it. Did I mention clean bathrooms and high chairs. What are you waiting for? Go try it. Parking lot available, but may be a little full at times.

Nice and cozy, feels like typical Korean cafe. All of their menu is really good, but portion is a bit small. Satified with their customer service always. Good thing is that I can have a nice dessert option after the meal. Their various tea option is one of specilities. Dumplings (mandoo) and all the sauces are homemade. They are selling their kimchi and mandoo too.
