I used to go to this buffet regularly....tasty food, very good service by friendly staff, moderate prices. However, things have changed considerably in the past few months. The food selection is the same day after day. Food quality is average or lower. I say this because many items are very oily which ruins the natural flavor. And the seafood is water logged. I've ended up with an upset stomach a few times. A couple staff members do a great job; however, most of the staff provide poor service. They do not check on the customer and do not pick up empty plates even as they walk past tables empty handed. The price is reasonable for the variety of food. But poor service, oil drenched food, water logged seafood are reasons I 'm not going back.

This place is known for making people sick! You'll get sick, the runs, your stomach will burn & you'll have food poisoning! The health department has violated this restaurant many times and they were even forced to close their doors due to health code violations! The manager Michael is terrible, Joanna the "owner" is even worse and the Hibachi stack is brown on the bottom "that's bad meat"....... stay away from this place!

This was an awesome place. The buffet included vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes . The NV included chicken, mutton, beef, pork, a variety of sea food starting from lobsters, prawns, molluscs, fish, crabs and lot more. The main course had chinese staple food variety of rice and noodles. The desserts spread was huge. The ambience was good though a little noisy as we had gobe a little late. In all a great place, huge buffet spread and value for money.

This place was a nice visit last night for food. The place is well lit with lights and neon lights. Set the mood nicely. The food was great especially the coconut chicken. The prices were even better. Highly recommend if you are looking to get full for a low cost. Definitely check it out.

The food is good. Standard fast food Chinese buffet. They do have a bigger food choice compared to other Chinese buffets. I especially like the black bean and chickpea selection and the fresh vegetable salad bar. This area is not offered in many similar places. And if it is it's not as extensive. This restaurant also offers Sushi, which I don't eat Sushi. My wife and son love Sushi. They both claim it is exceptionally good at this restaurant. Sorry I can't speak from personal experience.

It's ok for the price but the quality of the food is mediocre at best, like most Chinese buffets. It is what it is. Service is friendly and efficient and the bathroom was clean and stocked. The dessert was the best part I think. I usually come here once a year with my parents when they come to visit. We always have a good time. I just think the quality of the food could be better, I would even pay more.

The Flaming Grill & Supreme Buffet was a happy experience, all of the staff are extremely friendly and the food is wonderful... however its not all as it seems as one of the deserts, the little orange cake squares may look heavy but in fact are very light. I hope to get a recipe sometime as im not in the states often and will continue to come back to this magnificent buffet :)

So, here’s the deal with this place. If you’re looking for some decent food this is the place to go. Some days they’re really good and other days it’s not so great. Their selections never change. It’s pretty much the same general selection you would find in any Chinese restaurant and the same desserts. They do offer hibachi but don’t order and walk away because the cook WILL scream at every single person in line and tell them not to order food and walk away. They will throw your plate out if you’re not there to collect it. Saw this with my own eyes. Very unprofessional. The hibachi some days taste really good and other days it’s horribly made. All depends on who’s cooking the food. They have a sushi bar as well and a fruit and salad bar. Overall it’s a good place to go. But they have a time limit you’re allowed to stay and eat. They kick you out after so long. Found that out after bringing my seniors there for a dinner.

When I walked in no employees welcomed me. No employees with smiles and words. They work like robots with angry faces. No empty plates taken out. The foods are average. I don’t understand how this place has been given 4.2 and who? Even though I tipped $3, I didn’t hear “Thank you.” I immediately regretted the tip. I have been to many buffet restaurants but this one was the worst and weird. They don’t deserve that point. It is one of the typical Chinese owned buffets with nasty attitude. Don’t go there.

At lunch it's $8 per person and it's a steal! The food is fresh and consistent. They have a hibachi included. Your typical Chinese buffett offerings paired with basic sushi rolls, dessert bar and fruit bar makes this a place where you can go and enjoy exactly what you want. I don't love the sushi but it's not bad. I do really enjoy the stuffed mushrooms as well as the garlic green beens, on the weekends they have more seafood and the calamari is pretty good. For the meats I like the orange chicken and the dumplings

They have a lot of dessert options, but they taste terrible, they are low quality items. You get excited when you see the amount of options they have, even including ice cream, but after you taste it the excitement goes away. Get some good quality dessert items and this place can get 5 stars, until then, only 4, maybe even three, that's how bad the desserts are.... Yeah actually I'm dropping it to three instead

Excellent I've been going since they opened. I would go at least two times a week with my husband. We moved to South Dakota and when I come back to New Jersey to visit one of the first stops is to the Flaming Grill. And I appreciate it even more since there is no good Chinese food out this way. Look forward to going there on my next trip to New Jersey.

Let’s just get right down to it, the food goes from hibachi all the way to sushi! Food is fresh and well prepared for a buffet setting and the high volume of people assures new trays of food making you always grab just one more piece before packing a little desert topper! Make sure to tip the waitresses, because they are quick to clear plates and fill your soda glass without you even noticing! Remember ... a smile goes a long way when having a good meal! ☮️

Three adult buffets w/ 1 soda a piece on a Sat night came up to $56 after a 20% tip. The food is ok for the price tho if you're a sushi lover or having it for the first time, I would skip it here. Much of the sushi and sashimi was dried out because all of the sushi is pre-prepped and then left out uncovered. I did not try the hibachi but there was quite the line so they must be doing something good. The buffet food was varied between your usual Chinese - Lo-Mein, General Tso's, beef and broccoli ect. - and American fried foods - French fries, pizza, chicken nuggets, garlic bread, mac and cheese ect. They did have what I think was crawfish, crab, fried and baked fish among other types of seafood - my favorite was the coconut shrimp. The restaurant is quite large with ample seating and the noise level is on par with being a cafeteria just more likely to have a crying baby. They are constantly tidying up after guests so the dining area remains clean. The staff is polite, efficient and will leave you alone but readily answers questions.

It's really rare to see a buffet with over 4 stars and this one definitely deserves it . It's so awesome that they have a Hibachi grill and you can get food made to order that's included in their very decently priced Buffet. Apart from that food was good. Service was fast and friendly. If I could give less than 1 star I definitely would. The staff was rude. I attended a baby shower today. The room was reserved for 11:30a-2:00p. By 1:40p the staff was rushing us out, said they had another party at 2p. The manager, Jeff, stood over top of people attempting to push us out. Wendy and Cindy were the waitresses who also tried to rush everyone out. My friend, who was running the party, was in tears. She was highly embarrassed by the treatment that she and her guests were receiving. I asked to speak to Jeff’s boss. Jeff told me that he couldn’t give us his boss’s name. My friend frequents this restaurant often but this will be the absolute last time. Consider this when making your choice to come here. Loyal or first time customer. There is no reason to be treated like this. Update-at least 4 people from our party got sick from eating here. No call back from the manager.

I personally don't know how this place stays in business. The wide range of sushi, fresh hibachi grill where you pick the raw ingredients and they're cooked to you preference make this place unbeatable for the price. I will never ever go to this buffet, the staff is so ignorant. Yesterday while I was walking in their was a special need person asking one of the girls “what’s your hair color” she kept saying leave me alone and laughing. There were more employees in the front and of all then kept laughing at him. All of this staff needs to be educated about special need adults and children. They are extremely ignorant and rude. Also when they were serving their drinks and cleaning their tables, they are humans and need to be treated like so. The whole staff is horrible !

And the place was not busy at all mid afternoon they were there talking and the manager said you’re here to long so disturbing to her and her friends and they have other groups that meet there as well. We discovered this place by accident while waiting for our movie. Let me tell you, the food is great. They have sushi which is delicious, the hibachi is particularly tasty. The flaming Grill is definitely supreme. My girlfriend stuffed herself with food I couldn’t believe my eyes. Would definitely come again.

We have visited the Manville, NJ location several times over the past few years. We have always been satisfied with what we choose from the buffet. The food is always fresh and the servers are very responsible in replacing dishes, keeping the buffet full at all times.There are servers around to ask about ingredients due to allergies. They are knowledgeable.

Good food, great service, great price but they never change what's on the buffet. My family and I stop coming for a while because it's always the same items. Lastly, they need to retrain the Hibachi cook there not good at it. Hibachi is easy to cook and easy to overcook. And it's always overcooked. If you don't eat the Hibachi then go you will enjoy it.

Worst service and the rudest management ever. We had a party here and they came in and yelled at us that we needed to hurry up and leave even when we had reserved the spot and still had 20 minutes. And their party room they shove a whole bunch of people in there. There is no privacy. Terrible experience we will never come here again. Food isn’t even that good to make it worth while.

For the price, you can't beat this. On a Saturday night, this is probably half the cost of a similar AYCE restaurant in Toronto. And also in contrast, there's no line up (but here in Manville, NJ, I'm guessing no place has a line up). The selection is OK. Some dishes are really good, a few not so much. I recommend the grill and maybe avoid the sushi. Food alone, I might rate this place a 3. But again, for the price, it gains a star!
