Would give this restaurant 0 stars if it wasnt for our server. Cashier is the worst disrespectful person i know. We ask before sitting down if the drinks where included and due to miscommunication the server said yes. The cashier was making him pay for his mistake not right. As a restaurant and manager i know my employees are gonna make mistakes so i have to own up to them. At the end we ended up paying for everything because i was not going to let the server pay for that. How unfortunate bad attitude disrespectful and bad customer service. Also i read the reviews about roaches and didn't want to believe it but yes i saw them :( I hope they figure it out and make customer service a priority and not money. When you put money on top and people under is not a good thing.

Food was absolutely horrible I believe more food from my table was thrown away than was eaten. Normally the saving grace of buffets like this is the hibachi but even that was bland and undercooked or over cooked. I wish I never spend my money or time here. I would never recommend!!!!

This is the best open buffet in the world. The customer service there is great and they have a huge variety of food. If you are in this area and looking to eat this is the place. Also their sushi bar and grill is awesome and tastes very good.

Absolutely terrible industrial-style Chinese food. Nearly every dish is fried and extremely unhealthy soybean oil. You could smell the industrial solvents being used on the food. Don't come here. Don't spend your money. You will leave sick.

I will only give 2 starts not because of the food cuz the good was really good, and the waitress and even the one who prepares the food they were really nice. But the lady with the blue and white strips, with a snake tattoo in her finger was so rude. We had a gift card and the lady didn’t even try to type the numbers of the gift card and gave us a really awful attitude, and slam the card at the counter. Even when she gave us a table she was being so rude.

The food was horrifying...almost everything tasted dry and old, that was what they had available. There is salvation though, in the ice cream bar. Not much to choose from, but it tasted like ice cream. And all this before they decided to close early on us without saying ANYTHING! Yeah, wait service just got harder to find for a drink and it was suddenly void of what they considered food. Never again, thank you.

It's OK. Some surprising items in the buffet definitely make it worth while. I return again and again for the standard buffet items, and am always surprised. I found blue crabs on the buffet recently that we pretty good too.

The bathrooms are disgusting with white film build up on the floors. The buffet area is very unclean. Floors had food and prints all over caked into the floor. Carpet was matted in and greasy with torn areas and dirt built up under the tables. Sushi bar is a serious health hazard. Dry and crusty sushi. Buffet food looked like it had been sitting since the day before. When I told the waitress and hostess about how unclean their establishment was they brushed it off and paid no attention to it as they walked away rudely to get the check. This place needs to be shut down SO FAST before people get sick from the food and the filthy and unsanitary environment.

I was there yesterday Sunday (Sep 2, 2018) and the place was filthy, and the food was very cold but the worst thing is there were roaches crawling everywhere. I saw at least 5 of them as if they were guests as well lol.. we all passed them, even the lady with the broom and were left alone to continue doing their thing

This buffet establishment is very good on the food selection and quality. Highly recommend this place for anyone who isn't picky about buffets. Honestly the food can be redundant but the different selections can keep anyone amused and entertained. Therefore I strongly recommend the lunch at 6.59 a person. Can't go wrong at that price. Mmmm.

Food was ok, but the overall cleanliness needs more attention. Mens room was a mess, the glass panels between the booths were smeered. After mentioning the glass to a staff member, she attempted to clean them with a wet cloth. Windex is definately needed. Am just passing through, but i don't think i would go back again.

Omg I love this place. Lunch is cheaper and less crowded so if you want great buffet this is the place. They put more food out for dinner time (hence it costing a little more). I also highly recommend the hibachi and the sushi is great as well for buffet sushi.

Stopping in for a quick bite to eat before working a night shift it used to be a stable go to on those crazy busy days but those days are are getting fewer and fewer. I was hitting this place for late lunch about once a month but the quality, cleanliness has gone down hill quickly. Hopefully there will be a turnaround before it's lights out because the next rating will definitely be a 2 star day.

Somewhat less of a restaurant than when it first opened some years ago. Menu was slanted more toward the oriental side than now. Still a good value for the money. Hot and sour soup good, Mei fun good, used to have a great selection of sushi compared to the little offering now.

Went there with my family and the food was terrible. We all left hungry. Also, 2 of us got sick from the seafood at the grill and sushi bar. I am definitely not going to this place ever again. Avoid this place if you don't want to get sick from the food!!!! Also, the vents above the grill area look like they haven't been cleaned in months. Gross! I don't know how they ever for passed a health inspection.

Waitresses have harrased me for tips on several occasions. Though all the waitress does is bring more water I don't see why they expect such large tips. Even when I placed a tip I got riducled "that's all the tip you give?" Very rude. Giving two stars because I'm grown enough to walk out and not give a damn and just enjoy the decent food! Guy at the hibachi always has class and I tip him too for making my order

These guys are very hit and miss. Reasonable prices, good selection including a sushi bar, but once in a while a dish will just be terrible - and then perfectly fine the next time I visit. Take a tiny bit of everything you think you want first, THEN go back for seconds. Also, I've had some incredibly rude waiters and waitresses on occasion, but I've never seen them again, so hopefully they've handled that situation.

I am a person with ashma , my family and I were eating at table .. here come the waitress and starts sweeping under our table whiling we there eating, I kindly ask her stop I explain to her I am a asmático person and please stop sweeping, she didn’t care she kept on sweeping and went told other watresses in her Chinese language and all of them were laughing and didn’t care. Seems to be an unpopular opinion, but my bf and I really havent been as satisfied with the quality of the food recently, been regulars for a while now. Good price and good sushi as long as you catch it fresh. I think they need to turn down the lamps over the food--it seems to be drying it out quicker than it should. Just a guess. The food is good, not excellent, however, the furniture and decor makes this experience an experience I wouldn't relish if it wasn't for the people I was with! I'm guessing the rent is so high that they can't afford to remodel. The rest of the strip mall they are in is relatively empty. It's a shame because if their surroundings were to par, the staff would perhaps be more friendly as well as our enjoying our meal without sitting on ripped chairs and wobbly tables watching the wallpaper peel off the walls!

It’s alright I guess. The problem with it is how they just leave the food out there and people just go around and start to mess it up. I was once going to get some chocolate pudding, till’ I realized there was a piece of bread right in the middle. They also need to change the seats, carpet, and lighting. The seats are ripped and torn, the lighting is to neon colored, and the carpet is just a dark color and looks like it’s really old. Other wise, food is great, pricing is amazing, and the goldfish pond is the main attraction to me.

If I had the money I would go to this place every single day . You can't beat the price and most of the food is pretty decent . They just need to keep the food warmer. Every single Buffet needs to keep their food warmer not just this one, everyone. I love going to this place but it doesn't love me. Whatever they put in their food (and it's not just Teppanyaki it's every single solitary buffet in South Jersey), everybody has to run home with diarrhea LOL. That's why every buffets bathrooms are smelly. They need to put really strong exhaust fans in their bathrooms and very nice smelling air fresheners.

I have been their numerous times the Chinese waitresses get rude when they dont get a tip or if the tip is not enough they look at the bill and make a face. Well first of all they should be glad their in the United States second they dont no what people can afford third they don't do anything but bring your drinks and take away the plates they are not serving the people we do that our selves. I will NOT tip anymore because of the rudeness the girl rolled her eyes and made a face because i guess her tip wasn't big enough how ungraceful. Took my family here today for dinner around 8pm. The food was horrible. We used to be a big fan of this place and come often, but it’s been going downhill and today was the final straw. Good food for low price. I don't get why people gave such bad reviews. Yes, the lighting and carpets are poor, but where do you get $6.99 and $9.99 lunch and dinner for this type of quality food? There are a lot of varieties, even for lunch. Fresh fruits, sushi, cakes and cookies, icecream, hot dishes including vegetables, fish and meat. I have been there 3 times this week because I just moved back to Jersey and don't have a place to cook yet The variety on Sunday is a bit more with clams and mussels, and so $9.99 entire day. I would go again.

I was craving cheese won ton and my absolute favorite, coconut chicken. For some reason I did not have a good feeling before going inside. I’ve been before but today was a little weird. The middle of the restaurant had a funny smell. The sushi that was supposed to be enclosed didint have doors (that they noted to keep shut) and the manager couldn’t answer any questions i had. Even through all that i sat down and took literally 2 or 3 bites and i look down to see a peice of hair wrapped around my favorite coconut chicken ! :( I told the server who then went to get the manager . She acted like she couldn’t see it at first then just said sorry. I told her my boyfriend and I were just going to leave without a fuss and she asked if my bf was going to pay for his meal. We were insulted because we literally just sat down to eat. She asked us to at least pay for the drinks we took 1 sip of so we did . I was sick to my stomach at the thought of the experience all day. Would never go back.

A good buffet. The have a wide selection. It is always the same. They have a "sushi" like bar, the hibatchi grill, (where you can tip each chef) and lots of other food. They have Chicken, Prime rib, Salmon and Sea bass, crawfish, mini clams, etc.. They have a good fruit bar, Salad bar as well as plenty of dessert selections. A few cakes, macaroons, flan, cookies, ice cream, jello, etc.. It is reasonable in price. They charge you per person and a drink. (other than water) It appears clean, the food gets filled and overturned often, the wait staff remove your plates promply, so all in all it's a decent place for a quick meal that you don't have to cook or clean up after! Plenty of options even for the picky eater. Hope it helps.

I wish I could give no star to this place. It is the dirtiest place I've ever seen. I mean the main restaurant. Now imagine what the kitchen is like. The floor in the main room was wet and slippery, the food tags were all written by hand, not typed, the food was probably made yesterday or the day before yesterday in a very most unhygienic way. This place should be inspected ASAP and shut down. Horrible experience!

Even those host didn’t look up from her phone to seat us. She stayed reading something. I went to your restaurant with my individuals who are disabled and we had called earlier today to have a closed section and we were seated and some other people come in for a party a you were trying to accommodate them and had tried to move us instead of waiting until we were done. We were not making any noises or bothering anyone. We were paying for our meal just as they were. We will never visit your place of business again. The food was great but the manager wasn’t. Disabled people are human beings too. Treat all your customers the same. No discrimination to ♿️

Food is pretty good warm to hot, hot tea is the cheapest drink. When ready to pay at front register the lady doesn't even ask you how was your meal or any words of good customer service, she only waits til you pay by credit or debit, she will remain speechless until your payment is successful processed and you have signed the business portion of their receipt and she will only say: thank you. This is not the first time, this is always; so we have decided not to ever eat there again because of no customer service care at payment time.

The food is about what you'd expect. My only complaint are the waitresses. They are not very talkative or "smiley". I once dined in and we did not receive any refills and no one even came by to check on us. Grant it, it is a buffet, but still. Another time was icing on the cake for me. I asked for a coke to-go and she brought me back an empty to-go cup as if she expected me to pour my less than half full remaining soda into it. I then asked politely, for her to fill the to-go cup with fresh soda and she looked at me like I was crazy. I repeated myself and she walked off with the to-go cup still looking baffled and ruturned with what appeared to be a spray of cola in my cup! I honestly was insulted by it, and at that point was assured she didn't just not understand me! I didn't ask her again, I just poured what remained in my glass into the cup and went home a little aggravated, as I'd expect anyone would.. Long story short, I determine my tip on prompt service and kindness, which I received very little of!

Worst place ever. Went there on Monday for lunch. My boyfriend got sick right when we arrived home which was less than an hour of leaving there. I got sick on Tuesday night and still sick today and it’s Thursday night. Running to the bathroom for two days so far with severe cramps. The place is filthy and smells bad. The atmosphere is so cold and unwelcoming..... DO NOT GO HERE. You’ll be having stomach issues for days......

My kids and I used to come here often when we lived in NJ . It was a favorite of ours. We moved to NC almost 5 years ago. We came in for dinner a few years back when we were visiting and it was still great. Well, we're here in NJ again visiting and my boys wanted to go there since it's kind of "our place". It's ok but as good as it used to be. The sushi doesn't seem very fresh and the wasabi was turning a very dark green on top. The pineapple slices were either brown and over-ripe or hard and under-ripe. The selection isn't as good. One of my sons is a very adventurous eater and he was dissapointed that they didn't have any octopus which they used to always have at the cold bar or frog legs. And I wish they still had sesame balls. This was one of the few places I used to get them. The food at the hibachi grill did look very fresh and my older son enjoyed what he had made there. The desert selection was lacking and the one thing I would've eaten, the banana pudding was empty and not being refilled. So, on the buffet side of things, thumbs down. However, still a good job on the hibatchi.

This place is great. Food is good and the hibachi and grill, you can choose from chicken, steaks, vegetables, rice and, noodles for the chef to cook for you. Just don't go too late because obviously there not going to put fresh food out for you right before they close. I let the kids fed the fish in the lobby, it's entertainment for them.

You know I and much of my family love the food, it's great BUT the women's rest room NEED RENOVATION AND REPAIR. Been like this for years!! Every stall has a sign on it "OUT OF ORDER" except 1 good working one which smells of urine. They really need to clean the WHOLE RESTURANT. Was there on 4/25 & unfortunately had to go back on 4/26. When there on the 25th I was placed in the area all the way over to the left side and IT WAS DIRTY!!! Cleanliness is next to GODLINESS and it's very important in any EATING FACILITY. CLEAN IT UP MANAGEMENT!!!

This is one of the best buffets in the area with a large variety of food and desserts. I love especially the sea food but there is a great selection of chicken or meat. The grill is a plus here. In addition they serve a lot of fresh fruit and desserts. Resturant is always clean and the personnel is very kind.

Now it is what it is. It's an all you can eat Chinese and sushi restaurant. The food is really good for that price, they're open late, they're always nice, and there's always a place to sit (it's big). It also has a bit of a classic 70/80s style with the rides out front and the video game/claw machine up front. Update: I've been coming here for years. I just happened to see some bad reviews. Everytime I've been here the place has been clean and the food has been good for a buffet. It's not a made to order five star restaurant.

My experience as a first time customer was awful! They sit us in a back room that smelled like mildew. I asked to move tables and they did. We weren’t even there for 30 min and then waitress comes up to our table and says it’s dinner time now so if we want to continue to eat we need to pay dinner prices. Which are double! With five of us that’s a big difference. I asked for the manager because I just thought that was extremely rude! Then I told the manager that’s bad customer service and she should put signs up saying the times they change the menu prices.she literally says I DONT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE that this is her restaurant and she don’t have to put signs up. Never again!

If I could I would give this ZERO stars. I wish I would have read reviews about this place sooner! My coworker took me out for my birthday lunch there and as soon as we sat down and starting eating the food. This baby roach comes out. I call the waiter and he kills it and takes it with him to show his boss. The waiter comes back out and says that they hire pest control services to come out to treat for this type of problem every 2 days and because they hide so well its hard to attack the problem and that his boss told him that if we have any type of discomfort to come talk to her. The waiter leaves and me and my coworker are just in disbelief. DO WE HAVE DISCOMFORT?!?! UM YES! THERE ARE COCKROACHES ON OUR TABLE!!! Then as we are still in shock for 2 more minutes a cockroach that is 4 times bigger than the other one start coming out!! I SCREAM AND I GET UP FROM THE TABLE. The waiter comes back and kills it and takes it to the boss. We are at this point in time following suite because I no longer have an appetite. The "boss" who is the Asian women who seats people with the baby infant on her hip, says we give you 15% off. Yes, people we still had to pay for our food. The waiter still tried to downplay the situation repeating to us the pest control situation. HOWEVER the joke was on them for trying. NO PEST CONTROL SERVICE COMES TO TREAT A BUSINESS EVERY TWO DAYS! With baby cockroaches and adult cockroaches you definitely need to fumigate! WILL NEVER BE RETURNING! Thanks but no thanks. Also, if you are aware of having an infestation of roaches whyyyyy are you bringing your baby there?????????????

I went 06/15/19 It was a Saturday and almost empty, this should’ve been my first warning. Firstly, the food station by the general tso’s had roaches, no seriously. Next, the hibachi was just terrible, way too salty even for my liking and the Grill was filthy. Lastly, the food was pretty average for a buffet, I gave two stars only for the customer service. The staff was very nice and offered refills frequently. Been here at least 3 times in the past but this is my last time dining here.

I normally have a good experience here. Everything was unbelievably dirty today, but I figured it was just because they were really understaffed on a holiday and the food was still tasty. But then I went into the restrooms. Apparently the toilets weren't working right, and there was a nice little trash bin near each one over flowing with used toilet tissue (there were signs saying not to flush them). There was barely enough water coming out of the pipes to even wash your hands, so after potentially shoving your hand straight into other peoples' urine and feces you got to use up a lot of time just trying to scrub it all off. I got to spend the rest of my time there desperately praying that my family finished eating soon as my stomach had started tearing itself apart, and for the reasons I just listed no way I was stepping back into that unsanitary mess. The floors in there were unbelievably messy too, but that was a lesser concern.

The building is a bit run-down due to old age and usual wear and tear, especially the bathrooms, but they have done a good job covering it up with Chinese decorations.
