This is a very good place to visit. Their BBQ is very special. It is a wood burning BBQ instead of gas grill. Th meat tastes very tender and good. Try this place out and you will love it. It is a little pricey. As an example, if you took 4 in your group, prepare to spend about 140 dollars or more for BBQ dinner. But you will love the food!

If you're like me, you are currently reading the reviews to see if this establishment serves alcoholic beverages. I am here to tell you, YES THEY SERVE ALCOHOL. They have BEER, SAKE (hot and cold), and of course our favorite, SOJU. Service was good, the meal was good as well. But let's face it, it was midnight, after a fun night in New York, I just wanted to sit down, eat Korean and drink some damn Soju! This restaurant easily satisfied those wants.

My gf and I went there like usual to enjoy the B.B.Q. We waited 15-20 minutes for a table due to crowd. Waited bc we like the food.- There's a waitress whom once were seated, kept returning to the table every five minutes to get our next order. We were not ready for the next dish and told her so. But she kept coming back. It nearly turned in to a shouting match because of her annoying attitude. Luckily the Host decided to intervene. The waitress was trying to serve us and rush the meal so they can have our table. - Do to this arrogant waitress and annoying experience, we have not returned.

This is my favorite Korean Restaurant for the past 15+ years. The food is consistently great. They provide several side dishes (Banchan) to go with your meal. They offer large servings as well making it impossible to leave hungry. They have several BBQ tables and some without if you don't feel like cooking. Non-Koreans will not have an issue ordering or understanding the staff or the new menus. I hope to continue frequenting this restaurant for another 15+ years... I strongly recommend you become a regular as well.

Truly authentic Korean BBQ experience. Meat is cooked with charcoal instead of an electric heater, which adds great flavor. Worth the 3 hour drive from Connecticut to eat here with my Korean friend.

The sushi and seafood/scallion pancakes are good.The galbi is cooked perfectly on charcoal grill. You might ask why three stars? Well number one the food takes a long time to be served, number two the food is too expensive and for some foods it’s like around $35 and it just doesn’t make any sense for this food to be expensive.

The customer service was horrible. The waitress completely ignored us and we had to get help from a busboy and another waitress. The initial waitress said that the soup came gratis and then the second waitress said that she was giving to us even when she shouldn't have because it wasn't supposed to be gratis. It was a miserable experience and I was mortified as a Korean-American because I was treating my non-Korean friends to lunch. The galbi was good but I wouldn't return.

I've been too this place a few times. Each time has never disappointed. There are a lot of things on the menu so I haven't tried them all. I think kalbi is one of their specialties so the BBQ and soup are great. The kalbi is very tender and flavorful. Last time I was there I had budae jigae and it was phenomenal. The American cheese makes the stew viscous and rich. So good.

Food is good, barbecue of good quality - one of the better quality Korean places in either NY or NJ but like most Korean establishments - the service to put it lightly, sucks. Hard to find a Korean place with real actual service instead of a bunch waitresses and managers who look entitled and carry themselves with an attitude. They no question treat other Koreans with priority which is unfair even though nearly 90% of clientele is Korean.

Authentic, really good meat. It is a no thrill place that makes you feel on Korea. The bbq is a real wood one on the center of your table with a nice natural smell. The meat is absolutely delicious, both beef and pork. A waitress is taking car of the bbq so you will not undercook or burn your meat. The usual side dishes are good too. The steam egg is cooked to perfection. The service is nice and very effective. Overall an authentic very well run korean bbq.

I have driven by this place for over 20 years and I finally ventured to infuse their offerings today. It is located amongst other Korean restaurants and businesses in the unofficial designation of "Koreatown". Ambiance/Environment- Newer Korean BBQ places have sprung up with modern and chic clean decor, but this place has held it's own because of its veteran status and longevity. The place was clean and could take on a makeover and clean update. It is a cozy place (that can be a good or uncomfortable situation depending on who you ask). Service- The staff and crew all acknowledged me and greeted me as I walked in and I was fortunate in that there were tables available even though it was during the busy Saturday lunch rush. The waitress who served me was in a rush to take my order and she kept walking away from attending to me while I was about to order each course. She seemed impatient and the language barrier didn't help either. Food- The Sashimi set I ordered was fresh and didnt have the "fishy" taste that results when the stock of sushi fish starts to get old. The banchan side dishes were "normal" and nothing to highlight. The spicy mixed seafood soup was good and the broth was similar to what I have had at other Korean restaurants. The assortment of seafood was good and they were substantial and satisfying in quantity and size.

First time Korean BBQ and I was so impressed that I cannot even describe it the way it deserves to be. The service is fast and efficient, the space is cozy and the staff may seem intense but that is only because they are trying to be as efficient as they can. The seating time is good because they cook and clean really fast. The food was cooked to perfection and if it is your first time they are super helpful. They won't let you under cook the food either which is nice especially with pork being on the menu. Amazing place.

I have been going to this place for over 15 years. The food is good and service is good. So why one star? They have a Korean man there that may be a manager. In any case, the guy is rude to the extreme. Any business that allows individuals that are rude and disrespectful to work at their establishment will never see my money. These days there are so many restaurants in the area that has the same food and quality service. Why will I go to this place and subject myself to this aggravation. 15 years, and now never more.

Authentic Korean food with mainly asian clientele which is a good sign. They open very early from 6AM to very late night at 2 AM. The breakfast menu comprises various soups and topped rice dishes with little price served until 11 AM Then the time for the BBQ and starters and main dishes. Our Sunday Brunch : The marinated beef was soft and juicy. The pork in the BBQ was extraordinarily delicious even without marinade. The service was smooth and friendly and skilled when it came to execute the meat on the grill. No dessert menu but we had fruit and drinking yogurt on the house.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant. I come here at least twice a month, and I am never disappointed. The food is absolutely amazing, the barbecue is so good, the service is always 10/10, and it's a bit expensive but worth every penny. I have come here for date nights, parties, and any other chance I get, it's perfect for groups or just a solo mission. Whenever I come, I get the spicy pork stir-fry, (my personal favorite) and I highly recommend the marinated sirloin (Ju-Mul-Reok) if you do BBQ. Even the side dishes are delicious and work perfectly with the rest of the food. Do yourself a favor and come here as soon as possible.

They use real aged charcoal as well as the hospitality is through the roof. From what I understand they have been open for at least 15 years and have a let parking service to boot. This is decent Korean BBQ. They were able to see this right away, but the problem and reason why I'm giving it to stars is because they sat us in the back room with no ventilation. When you do Korean BBQ and you don't have good ventilation the air gets pretty thick. Experience sitting in the back of the restaurant was not very good, and I felt like the wait staff was not as attentive as they are to the front part of the restaurant.
