Our family went there on Friday night. What a mistake! The place was busy and the servers didn't know what to do. We ordered two orders of galbi set menu which was 35 each. Since we were 4 people we ordered a pho which was 14, way more than authentic Vietnamese place. Then the server told us that we had to order one more dish since we ordered from the set menu. His reason was that the owner does not allow it since they lose money on set menus. 35 dollars for 3 strips of LA galbi and Soondubu (soft tofu soup) with sorbet desert and they lose money on that? There are other Korean restaurants which offer real galbi, not LA strips for less than that with side dishes. Anyway, we ordered squid stir fry which was 18. 4 of us spent 130 for dinner including tip. A few other complaints include 1) dishes are small which is unusual for Korean restaurants, 2) side dishes were dismal, 3) they asked to pay tip in cash, 4) again the price was really high comparing to other Korean restaurant in the area (in Edison and Plainfield) One good thing about the place was their food was taste, above usual quality of most Korean places. I just wish they would give us more food and make the price cheaper. ps. Pho was bad. They didn't even give bean sprouts and cilantro. Would I go there again? Probably not except maybe for lunch which is 3-5 dollars cheaper than dinner.

Decent food and Bad Service. We went there on a Sunday early evening. Ordered pho and kimche stew. Pho was good but kimche stew was too sour. The worst part was the service, once we got our food the server never came out to check on us. I stopped a server once to ask for a soup spoon and he never came back with it. We waited about 15 minutes to get attention and get a check.

Owner is awesome :D

This place is so delicious and the owners are the sweetest! Everyone should go - they are not busy, but 100% should be. Even if you don’t know Korean Food that well, the owners will explain everything to you and accommodate your palate and spicy-tolerance. Seriously check it out. Galbi and Bibimbap are standouts.

Wonderful restaurant with great food and staff. We went with my niece and they gave her free dumplings. At the end they brought us all a small yogurt beverage. Definitely recommend the bibambap as well as the friend rice.

This place is great and I personally love the Chicken Teriyaki. But they charge nine bucks for undercooked noodles and I was pretty disappointed with that.

Well, it's very unusual that i leave a review. Anyway, me and my husband decided to pick this place for the first time since they have good reviews. we normally go to Fort Lee or Edison for a good korean restaurant. I really got disappointed with first, they didn't offer us something to drink to start, which is very common i think. Second the food, my husband got Pho soup which is so bland and no flavour at all and i got Kimchi BibimBop and it's very dry. Third, the owner was very loud and she embarrased me because i greet her in korean, which it's okay for her to talk in Spanish "gracias"to people even they're not spanish. She really made me feel uncomfortable and the staff there it looks like they don't want to be there. When they serve our food, the waiter spilled a soup in my husband's drink and didn't even replace the drink. Btw, "THEY APPRECIATE YOU IF YOU TIP IN CASH, SO BRING CASH FOR TIP, IT HAS A NOTE WHEN U GET YOUR CHECK" Didn't even say thank you when we leave. So not coming back here! No thanks. I can cook Japjae better than this place.

First time bring my family to the restaurant. It is only half full but the service is extremely slow and bad. There are three waiters but 2 can barely understand English(we found out at the end). We ordered 5 dishes but they missed 2. We have to remind them 4 times for them to bring out food within 2 hours. After dinner we have to wait 20 minutes to get check even after my son went up 3 times. This is the WORST restaurant we have even been! By the way, they never even say sorry at the end!! This event happened on Saturday 3/5/2016.

Took a group of four, we all had a great time and enjoyed the great food. The owner was a little confused when my friend ordered a chicken dish with no vegetables, extra chicken. But we had a good laugh about it since they did it and it was good, she was super friendly. Will be going here again for sure.

Went here today for the first time. The food was absolutely amazing, and not too expensive. The service was great and extremely friendly. Plenty of food and a good starter with free miso soup, kimchi, and a bunch of other small starters. Finished the meal and got free ice cream. Absolutely amazing service and food! Wish i had found this place sooner.

Went there for lunch and dinner each on separate days. Lunch was Excellent! Their bento box was good and the price was great. But for dinner, that's a different story. The food is expensive for its quality. For example, one of their dishes was Bui Go Ki that cost maybe $20 . There were not that many slices and most of the meat had bones or fat on it. Either way Dinner was not good, but lunch was. If you want to come eat here, come during LUNCH.

Excellent bulgogi and seafood pancakes! I came here with 3 other people at 2pm on Sunday and they weren’t that busy. We ordered spicy and garlic-soy K-Pop Fried Chicken (KFC) wings and they were both very tasty. Then their Seafood Pancake just thrilled me with perfection- crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with bits of squid, shrimp, and scallion. Then we beheld the best and most balanced bulgogi I ever had with salty/sweet/savory beef so tender. This came with ample and yummy banchan (side dishes) and rice. For a complimentary dessert, they gave us a Bungeoppang (fish-shaped pastry) filled with red bean paste and vanilla ice cream. Reel-y good!!!! Plenty of heart and Seoul. NOTES/TIPS: **They share a building and parking lot with Hacienda restaurant but have different entrances. Hacienda’s sign is more visible from the street. **Lot and street parking available. **Not wheelchair-accessible from the parking lot. There are stairs to front door. **Excellent service w/very friendly husband and wife team.

Nick Zubrycki

Very friendly service. Food was great.

I love that we live near Seoulites. Great food from the banchan to the actual dishes. I usually get the beef bibimbap or kalbi. The ambiance is really nice and quiet and the owner is the sweetest woman. Definitely recommend :)

food was delicious. the appetizers didn't have as much food as I'd like. the galbi was amazing and very tender. the waitress/owner? was very nice and pleasant, giving us our time to order and finish our conversation before leaving. granted there weren't many people there at the time we went but still she refilled our tea at the time of the check and didn't rush is into leaving. she was genuinely nice and the atmosphere was pleasant overall.

Pretty decent place for Korean food in Berkeley Heights. The ambience, outside and inside are not that great, but the food is pretty reasonable, and so are the prices. The place is family run and therefore visited should not expect professional waitstaff. When they started, they started as a Korean and sushi restaurant, but it decided they will no longer have any sushi which is perfectly fine since the Korean food is good. I would in particular recommend the Bibim Bop and the Pajun.

Suresh Kumar

Zhizhuo Zhou

Really didn't expect to find this in Berkeley Heights, but a great tofu house. It is not as good as well known ones in NJ, but it is still decent. Price is fair as well. It's on the second floor BTW.
