You have the feddbacks of people who are using the services of Sarabeth\'s Central Park South (Restaurant) around New Jersey area.
At this moment the business receives a score of 4.1 stars over 5 and this rating was based on 2066 reviews.
You must have seen that it has an average rating is very good, and it is founded on a high number of opinions, so we can conclude that the score is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to value when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to put reviews when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant is included in the category of American restaurant.
Great location and priced to match. Definitely choose outdoor dining space if weather permits. Directly adjacent to Central Park. Best for brunch experience. Staff were wonderful. Meals were well done.
I have visited Sarabeth's in two locations - Upper East side and Central Park. It's safe to say that both locations are identical in terms of their food, ambience and service. Everyone has heard of Sarabeth's in New York and tried it at least once, it's a quintessential restaurant to have Sunday brunch and it lives up to its reputation. When I am in the city, I really enjoy my time here - I usually take a book along with me, order my usual Four Flower Juice + green onion and cream cheese omelette with toast or croissant. The omelette is simple, fresh and consistently well made. I feel like I am eating a cloud whenever I have their eggs - they are that fluffy and light. Oh so divine! It's filling without it being over and it's simple. I love the simplicity of this place. The service here is amazing and though you can run into some snooty Upper west/east side stereotypical people and servers, it's fair to say that this establishment is for everyone. I love having my breakfast/brunch here and always look forward to my next visit. Tip: It is hard to get a reservation especially on weekends (trust me I have tried) but plan ahead and it's worth it!
It is a lovely place, and we visited because it’s popular as a NY staple. The food is good albeit a bit overpriced. It’s a nice old building, we sat inside under the sunroof, so it was open and with lots of light. We went there for brunch on a Thursday, so it wasn’t over crowded and we got a table right away. We each had our savory dishes and shared a waffle that was yummy.
Tasty food but very over-priced!
Great food and desserts, good menu options, very nice staff, and good ambiance!
I stop here every chance I get when visiting the city. The short-rib hash is out of this world. If you are a party of 1 or 2, I recommend sitting at the front or back bar...itll be faster and equally as fun.
The food was good there quality is good but I did not like the attitude of the waiters
Such a quaint brunch spot with amazing food. We got to Mama's on a Thursday morning, and there was a line formed along the side of the restaurant. Luckily, it went quick and the food was truly amazing. I would highly recommend trying the French toast.
Food was outrageously expensive and mediocre at best. Scone was about the same as a frozen one from the market. Decaf coffee undrinkable. Only time during our visit to NYC we felt ripped off. Breakfast was 70.00..with no extras. This used to be a tradition for us. No more.
Very good food & service.
Nice brunch place though the interior does not have too much character. Good service. It was a birthday - they brought a cake, which was nice. The UWS location is better but this a good one overall, too.
Had a awesome experience in here with my kids. The food arrives rapidly and the customer service is just good. Prices are fair.
My favorite breakfast spot in NYC! Right by Central Park, it’s conveniently located for locals as well as tourists. Love the atmosphere and service has been good each time I’ve gone. Everything I’ve eaten here has been delicious, most notably, the chicken pot pie.
Brunch was delicious!! The drinks, eggs benedict and scones were real highlights. We will be back again :)
Sunday brunch - 15 minutes wait and you will be handeled with care and attention. Good qulity products and totally sharable portions.Try mimosas:)With all flavours - they are so good. Great selection of "non-traditional" omletts. Good coffee, but be ready - it's an "always busy" type of a place, so it's kind of loud inside.
The seafood cobb salad is to die for!! This is the dish I always order there for many years and I always pair it with a glass of champagne and is never less then wonderful and delicious. Also the outside seating at the Central Park South location is my to go place. I share a dear memory of going with my Mom and she loved it! A wonderful place that I highly recommend
Really disappointed with service and food. Shame... I was really looking forward to this.
Decent breakfast spot. Lots of tourists
Good food nice staff. Way better experience than the one on Park! Love the ambiance try the scallops!
This was my second visit to Sarabeth's and I will continue to visit every time I am in the city. The food here is outstanding. The French toast is, I dare say, life changing. The five fruit juice is out of this world. The adult grilled cheese is impeccable. The coffee is the best I had the whole weekend I was in Manhattan. The servers and hosts were incredibly polite and helpful. The location is fantastic, right on the edge of Central Park. Absolutely fantastic experience!
So expensive and a feel of a one in one out service
Great food. Little pricy.
Great crab cake eggs benedict. Friendly service. Good location.
I found this gem while in Manhattan. Convinced I was going to be eating breakfast, I soon saw the lump crab cake sandwich on the menu and decided for lunch. I’m glad I did it was wonderful. The food, atmosphere, and service were amazing!
Great food and service
Amazing food, great service, fast seating even when crazy
This was the first time I have visited Sarahbeth's. The food was outstanding! The Wait staff was curtious and attentive to my wife and I's needs. Definitely comming back when next in the city! They made the last day of our honeymoon a memory that will last.
,Good food, good location. The place needs to be renovated. Overpriced.
Fantastic for dinner or Sunday brunch. Great service and great food every time. I've never had a bad experience here. The truffle fries are very good and so is the chicken pot pie, it tastes homemade. A great place to go with family or good friends.
My favorite brunch place in New York. Imagine having the best mimosas and other brunch drinks while sitting across Central Park. My favorite thing there are their eggs benedict, but even their oatmeal is great.
The atmosphere was outstanding, the location was continent. The best scone I've ever had in the U.S. (scones are important in UK). Great cafe au lait. I ordered the Farmer's omelette, it was blend and poorly cooked. I can spend not nearly half the money for a much better omelette.
The bacon was cooked perfectly. Thin, not too crispy or undercooked, simply sublime. Lance our waiter kept the coffee coming fast and furious, he could tell I needed it. Only reason not 5 stars rating is the fire extinguishers were expired in October of 2018 and this was January 2019. Hey, not all bacon comes out perfect, safety is important.
This is a nice, cramped place for a slightly overpriced meal. The ambiance is nice, it's bright, clean and welcoming, the service is pretty good and attentive, although it tapered off after we got the food. The food is presented well, it's not the largest portions, but this isn't that type of place. I got the adult grilled cheese, which was good, but also a little smaller in size than I expected...it also comes with a tomato soup. It's a good option if it fits your budget.
Iconic breakfast spot right at the southern edge of Central Park. Had no issues with seating as we made reservations. Service was more “get it done” than friendly, which was fine. Didn’t bother us too much. Food was quite good and the prices were expected, but still stung a little when receiving the bill. It was a large space that was minimally decorated. Not sure if I’d be back again, but we’re glad to have tried it.
Not worth the money. Old looking restaurant. Seen better days. Older people vibe. Staff looked so fed up. We asked to be seated on the side. They gave us a centre table too hectic. When I went to the restroom there were plenty of tables in the back which was a nicer part of the restaurant. Felt annoyed that they choose who they wish to seat in the back. Dated American style plates. Would not run back! Our server was sweet. Nothing special about this place.
Breakfast was delicious. High quality all around and excellent service.
My daughter and I ate here before heading into Central Park. The staff was very friendly, the service was great, and we really enjoyed our meals. It was the best tomato soup I’ve ever had!
It was a beautiful place to have brunch - their juices were pretty average (not highly recommend it) - nice atmosphere - pet are allowed outside & not allowed inside. - the price were pretty overpriced
Staff friendly, food was surprisingly bad, the reviews said the place was great but the food seemed poor quality and the price was really expensive for an average meal. Both the crab Benedict and tuna salad was not very pleasant, leaves were brown and wilted, the best thing was the fresh orange juice. The pancakes looked good, perhaps that’s why they have a good review.
super disappointed. i had heard good things and i really have no idea why. other than convenient location, i am beyond confused what the hype is. the food was sadly comparable to airport food, it was wildly expensive, service was below average... wish we didn’t pay $70 for a sandwich, frittata and water.
The place was crowded and we had to be put on a wait list. Good thing was the wait wasn't too long ~20mins. The moment we got seated, the waiter introduced himself. His service was very good, very attentive to our needs and professional. Food portion size is good. Food is slightly pricey, but I definitely worth the visit
Decent nyc brunch experience but it gets very busy and crowded.
Excellent food, best creme brulee I've ever had. Great service. Beautiful setting.
Dinner for 12 or so. Back room we were in was very average, no ambience and the steak I had was ok, but the rest of the plate I didnt eat.
The best place in New York, close to Central Park, where to have a great breakfast or brunch! I have been several times and it is always lovely. You should try!
Quick service, delicious breakfast and beautiful ambience
I was excited to try out this place but it was underwhelming and so overpriced. We came in for lunch with a reservation and got seated pretty quickly. It was really crowded. We got the crab guac and chips as appetizer which was pretty good. For the main entrees, we tried different dishes: tuna salad sandwich, adult grilled cheese, crab cake benedict, the great burger. Most were okay but for the price, I think it was not worth it. The service was really quick and good though. There are so many other good food options around so I wouldn't really recommend it.
Excellent food , must try the 4 flower juice and the waffles - unbelievably delicious
Great place to eat by the Central Park. totally loved the chicken salad and toasted coconut waffle.
The food is yummy, I only tried the breakfast. They don’t have fresh orange juice. It is little bit expensive French toast was not the best. All the eggs dishes were great and the service is fast and good. They don’t have WIFI...
What a solid spot. We went there on a BUSY Saturday morning with no reservations and they had us seated within 15 minutes. The food was delicious and the staff did a Fab-U-Lous job with table management. We will definitely be returning to Sarabeth's!
We went to get a breakfast here while we were in NYC. Location is very convenient, fast service, delicious food and wonderful staff. We definitely had a great time here and we enjoy our meal too. Totally recommend it. Prices are a little bit more than a regular restaurant but it’s worth it. Sometimes you have to treat yourself
This place is very over rated. My wife and I paid $70.00 for an order of pancakes , bacon and a omelet. The food tastes bland. I've had better tasting pancakes at cracker barrel for half the price. My wife's omelet lacked any taste. If people honestly believe that that this food is worth $70 they have not enjoyed a good meal. I'll try their dinner tonight and see how that compares.
Here is perfect place to hang out with friends and have brunch, always! There are several branch in the city, however, this is my favorite one. I was able to have a great time, thanks to the pleasant staffs.
The best breakfast in town! We made a booking mistake and we were 5 and they manage to find us a great table although it was very buss. The food is awesome...benedict eggs with salmon were superb as well as the bacon. Don’t miss it. Willing to be back asap. Thanks for the great experience
Had some dessert in a afternoon. The dessert options are a little limited. I enjoyed the banana split and it wasn’t too sweet. But my the flight of ice cream were mediocre I would say, my friends didn’t like it that much.
I remember this place as having scrumptious breakfast or brunch, but that was many years ago. This last visit featured dry French toast, decent but not extraordinary vegetable fritata, ok muffins and sausages, good coffee, great OJ, and a $100+ bill for 2 people. Disappointed.
Amazing breakfast.... decent atmosphere
Excellent food and service. They may be best known for their breakfasts, but dinner was great!
Food was ok but service was so bad especially the lady at reception! Not cheap either
Traditional old NYC style. Including no Wi-Fi. Good food and service. Not cheap.
Overpriced for a poor meal and bad coffee
Great service and wonderful food!
Great food great staff and wonderful service.
Staff was super nice & kind. Breakfast was OK- would love a bit more options though. Eggs & more eggs, but good enough.
Sarabeth’s is a must go to restaurant! This was my favorite restaurant in NYC. Around brunch time there was a huge crowd but waiting was not a problem at all. The entire restaurant feels so welcoming and cozy! The FOOD was incredible!! I got the Classic Eggs Benedict, Latte, bacon, pancakes with strawberries! I couldn’t pick just one dish, I had to try more than one. I am so happy that I was able to go eat at Sarabeth’s, I can’t wait to come back! I also accidentally left my debit card after paying and I called Sarabeth’s. They had found my card and saved it for me. Thank y’all so so much! Love from Texas.
Good food but getting put back in the nosiest back room was not ideal. The coffee was very good and the pancakes very fluffy.
.Excellent breakfast-brunch, good service and friendly atmosphere. Reasonable prices
Unfortunately their hostess still needs to learn how to smile and say a simply Good Morning when a client comes looking to have breakfast.
LOVED the Restaurant week special menu. We ordered the crab toast and the lamb chops for lunch. We were full after the first course and took the second course home. Food was outstanding. Lamb chops very rare, just as ordered. Sauce came on the side, as requested. Wonderful meal and very low price of $26.
Omg! What a Wonderful Experience! The place is beautiful, inside and outside, the service is excellent, although the host outside was a little bit rude. Inside, it’s big and comfortable. We did not waited, to be seated, more than 10 minutes and it was a fill house. The services is outstanding, the food is delicious (presentation, flavors, portion) and they served us extremely fast. This is on the top of my list for my next trip to NY!
Sarabeth’s is a NYC staple. What time you go makes a difference so look up if there will be crowds. I love their brunch and dessert menus. Their cocktails are fine but overpriced. Their prices simply reflect their location. The food is always good and usually very fresh. I like the Four Flowers cocktail and the French toast.
Great place for brunch! Sit outside for great people watching. Lemon ricotta pancakes were delicious. Four Flower Mimosas were great! I got a side of bacon and it was 12 pieces so unless you are sharing maybe see if you can just get a few slices.
Delicious food and the service is great too. Eat inside or outside. Fantastic
Great breakfast. Prices aren't too too bad considering its right on Central Park. I've taken away a star because the atmosphere is too "money". Rich people go here and that alone makes me uncomfortable. That being said, they give you healthy portions of everything. And they're salads are incredible.
I so proud of this place they started out small and have done so well.
It was ok. Seems like their reputation hurts the service. Trying to serve that many people takes a toll on the quality. My French toast came out in record time which seems great at first, but there's absolutely no way they could churn out our order that fast with the wait that was present. It definitely seemed like it was already prepared ahead of time and waiting under a heat lamp to be delivered. In my opinion not worth the $23 (!) or PLAIN pancakes for, again, $23(!). Not worth the price.
Cute place next to the south side of central park. Delicious fresh treats with espresso to be beat. Plan on a wait though, it's always packed.
Good food, Manhattan prices.
Fast service if you have prior resevation. I had tough time getting a table trough "open table" app. Interesting to see half is traveller and the other half is local
Lovely pancakes and great staff; definitely on the pricey side but worth a visit when you're around Central Park.
Overpriced for premade Benedict's ($30 Each). Have visited the one Tokyo and was much better. They literally brought the meal within 5 minutes of ordering, it was obviously premade and placed on to a hot plate. Which made the lettuce warm, and Benedict was room temp at best. Probably worst $75 bfast I've had.
Quick entrance and reserved table by simple registration, Orders with lemon&ricotta pancake and salmon eggs benedict... My baby loved a pancake with maple syrup but not benedict. I loved all. Kind staffs unlike other reviews. A little expensive prices and narrow space between tables. But I may visit again with any other chance.
Such a great spot for brunch. Food is really good. Very busy so expect to wait but well worth it.
Sarabeth’s is basically a New York staple made famous by Gossip Girl. The space is huge and no matter how busy they may look on the outside, the wait is never crazy long. The have ALOT of staff working so you’re always being taken care of. Their food is quality (a little pricey, but whatever... it’s New York) and fast! I LOVED my almonds encrusted French toast (I asked for all of the sauces on the side). I also ordered the prom sausage and that actually got sent back because it was too cold for comfort. My friend ordered the crab cake Benedict and he said it was legit. Sarabeth’s is and always be our go-to hangover/brunch sp
Great food and helpful staff. Definitely on the expensive side (11 for a side of bacon)
Great food at the edge of Central Park. Not cheap, but that's what you get for fine dining with a view. Great service too. Super busy, so best to make a reservation or be prepared to wait for a bit.
Always good service and excellent food.
Great food!! Way expensive
I always order scone here! The best scones in NYC.
Lovely brunch (I left full to the gunnels), packed and quite buzzy. Superb location doubtless contributed. The Bloody Mary was also a thing of beauty.
Romantic breakfast with my beautiful wife
Great spot for brunch with a view if sitting in the front. Their French toast is perfect and the Goldie Lox is fantastic. Can get really busy, so better go with reservation to avoid insane queues.
We were in the city on a Thursday and wanted to find "brunch" at around 1pm. Saw that this place offered lunch until 4pm so we went. It is very big inside, you go into one room that leads to another and then another. It's nice inside and service is ok. Eggs are eggs, but they're $22. They can charge this because its central park and NYC. But if you're willing to pay it's a good place to visit.
Great breakfast spot on CPS. The short rib hash is awesome!
Good food and great service
Disappointing. We heard great things but did not live up to the hype. Nothing about breakfast was terrible, but everything was just OK. Crab cakes for the Benedict were lacking any kind of seasoning, and had to be 70% bread crumbs or whatever they used for binder. This was a $12 breakfast at best but we paid $30. The short rib hash was disappointing in presentation, and while the flavor was better than the crab cakes, there was no texture to anything, the potatoes, beef, everything was just soft and borderline mushy. The fresh squeezed orange juice was alright, but below average compared to other nearby restaurants we'd tried. On the bright side, the service was very friendly, but overall the experience was mediocre at best. This was our most expensive and most disappointing breakfast of our 5 day visit. I know you pay a premium to be next to central park, but we paid triple what the meal was worth.
Ate here for breakfast. Very nice, wait staff very attentive. The pancakes were excellent! A little pricey for breakfast.
Nice place and taste food and good service special for breakfast
Quick seating on a busy Sunday and very tasty food!
The location is great, but it was very expensive. We had to pay for the sides that usually come for free with the main order. We were extremely surprised that we even Had to pay for the Nutella that comes with waffles. This place is tourists trap. I don’t think that I’ll be back again.
Excellent food and great service.
Our current favorite brunch spot. Setting, service, food and atmosphere is exceptional. Got to come here.
Very nice brunch visit. Classic food, small menu choices. Beautiful patio seating enjoying the view of central park.
Best time is brunch. Fast and friendly service. Seriously, I never had a chance to empty my coffee before our server was back with more. The food was prepared quickly and was devoured shortly after arrival. Be prepared to wait, but it is worth it.
Right off the bat, amazing service from host (loved his dapper suit), to the server to the manager who was on his game! LOVE solid service, can’t say enough about this team, great leadership. I would come back just for that. Food is reliable, consistent, but nothing special at all. I understand the founder made her name on creating jams- which are incredibly sweet. This location- an omelette was $24, oatmeal $14 and side of two eggs $9.95. CRAZY prices, and outside of the excellent service I would not return :(
Delicious food and really fantastic service
Good food right by central park and an easy walk from midtown. The lemon ricotta pancakes were amazing as was the farmer's omelette. We also had the hamburger and Turkey club with the truffle fries, all delicious. It's not cheap but pretty standard for a sit down meal in Manhattan. Warning, the wait during peak times can be long (45-60 minutes).
Good place to eat breakfast just south of the park. Very quick food service and attentive staff.
The food was fantastic and plentiful. I loved the staff. Sitting outside was fun. I enjoyed people watching. The lemon ricotta pancakes are a treat to the senses. They are beautiful and smell heavenly and taste amazing! Eat here!
Outside patio has perfect view of the park. Loved the lemon ricotta pancakes and the jalapeño omelet
My husband and I were very disappointed because of like racial discrimination of Sarabeth’s. We were visiting New York City at the end of May. We chose the Sarabeth’s in front of the Central Park to have brunch. A waiter guided us to a table. After we were seated I felt something strange. I noticed there was a glass wall on my left side. And There are many Asian people were seated behind us. On the other side over the wall, there were predominately white people. My side was croweded and located by the kitchen and restrooms. I think separating people is discriminatory. But I didn’t bring it up right away. I ordered pancakes and I found a dead fly on the plate. I was upset. I told a waiter and talked to the manager. I also complained about the separate seating for Asians. The manager said “I’m so sorry about the dead fly. But It’s your misunderstanding about discrimination”. I cancelled my order. They gave us a small cake. After complaining I could see some moving in the restaurant. I noticed some waiters were whispering to each other. New Asian guests who come in next were seated at on the other side with non Asians. Is it a coincidence? Is it my misunderstanding? I heard this is not the first time. Sarabeth’s has to think about their attitude in our global era. Nevertheless the quality of the food and service does not warrant a return visit at any cost let alone at exorbitant prices.
Food was great. There were a good amount of people waiting but they turned the tables very quickly.
great location, but the french toast was so tough we couldn't even cut through them with a knife..
I had an extremely bad experience in this place. Especially one waiter, fat guy with beard who takes meal preference from customers was extremely rude, I suggest that he has to think of what is the customer service and he needs more train and education as a professional staff. I told him that bacon is tasteless and I was not satisfied at all, however he didn’t take it seriously and started to behave badly to me. He should remember small rudeness destroys all the customers’ expectations. I visited here a few years ago and really wanted to come back again. Finally it came true, so I am deeply disappointed because of his behavior this time. I will NEVER visit this place ever again. Except him, all staffs were very friendly and professional as I expected. If you experience something good and want to enjoy New York City, I won’t recommend you to go to this restaurant.
Delish waffles and great coffee. Service excellent. We love starting our day there before walking around town to explore and enjoy holiday decorations.
A bit pricey but Worth it. Excellent food and service
Really enjoyed the food but was hoping for a slightly more laid back atmosphere. Staff were friendly but didn't really listen all that well.
Amazing place for breakfast, great food and good service. Super busy so you will see people standing inside waiting to be seated very close to the tables. They should introduce a better system for calling the customers, maybe a messaging service where they text you when the table is ready. raspberry jam is a must have!
Nice place, good spot in front of Central Park but it's really expensive for a sandwich
This is an amazing place to go to. Had gone for brunch and had a great experience. It is a pretty big place. We got a place right inside at the back where there was natural light coming in through the ceiling too. Had ordered the almond French toast which was excellent. The pancakes were good too. The cold brew coffee with rum was absolutely delicious. This place is expensive but we'll worth it. The portions are generous. The service is quick. Definitely a place to visit again.
Really delicious breakfast with a beautiful view over the central park...slightly pricy but I guess it's because of the location
A wonderful breakfast (Eggs Florentine) and fabulous Cheesecake.
The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. It’s a little pricey, but totally worth the money.
I love this place. Atmosphere, good food and right across the street from Central Park. A must for the local and the tourist.
Can't think of a better people watching brunch spot than this little gem. Right in the heart of Central Park this is another go-to of mine for breakfast or brunch. Amazing food, great value (BIG portion sizes), friendly staff. This place is always busy and I can see why. PS - Their jam that they sell is amazing as well- You can find it in a lot of specialty grocery stores or pick up a bottle on site.
Simply the best pancakes in the word, the staff was a bit unpleasant and cold
I had heard about the hype around this place, so when Summer Restaurant Week rolled around, this was the first place we headed for. We were BLOWN AWAY by the food - most especially the crab toast appetizer as well as the lamb chops! Highly recommend.
The food was just okay, but nothing really extraordinary. In my opinion, if a plate of pancake costs $20+, the service and dining atmosphere have to be really great. But the restaurant was overcrowded with tourists, and the service and dining atmosphere were far below the expectation. First of all, even though we had a reservation and got there right on time we still had to wait more than 20 minutes for a table. What is the point of a reservation if there is no table reserved? Moreover, tables were very clustered in the dining hall, and I got bumped on my shoulder and back at least five times by people passing by. The waitstaff were, as expected, very busy and inattentive. I had to ask more than twice before finally getting my coffee refilled. My girlfriend who visited this restaurant on a separate occasion felt being rudely discriminated by waitstaff. My experience wasn’t as bad, but it wasn’t any pleasant either.
Delicious fresh ingredients in my omlet! Yummy pancakes! Be prepared to drop about $20/plate for breakfast though.
Just a plea from the representative of the female solo diner demographic. Please don’t make me feel invisible- the food was great, but I waited 25 minutes and then called to a very responsive waiter who actually wasn’t my waiter but was very helpful and friendly- this employee is a gem- the remainder not so much.
Wonderful experience here. Four Flower mimosas were so unique and tasty. The unique flower juice was not too sweet and so tasty. Food was impeccable. I had a cauliflower soup and a kale salad. Super happy with my experience.
Sarabeth's is one of our favorite brunch places in the city. The eggs benedict are amazing, and the French toast is second to none in the city. Service is impeccable. The place gets quite busy in the morning and around noon so I would recommend reserving a table prior to arriving at the location.
Great breakfast spot. Delicious pancakes... friendly waiters. Great atmosphere
We had a rather large group and they managed that pretty expertly. Especially during the lunch hour. Our waiters were attentive and quick. I couldn’t get over the crab guacamole which EVERYONE should get as a starter, the meat was fresh and exceptionally complimentary to the guac’. My only complaint was that, there were a few times where the waiters brought an extra wine in error or an extra plate of cookies although we only asked for 2, I have no doubt these were added to our bill. I’ve seen this done in busy NY restaurants before. It soured the experience a bit. Especially since we were always going to spend money and tip well. Overall, good experience. Would like to revisit with 1-2 guests in the future as opposed to 15-20.
If you want to pay silly money for pancakes and eggs then go here. It was a nice small restaurant and located opposite central park but the food was not worth the money. We ordered a portion of pancakes and scrambled eggs with a tea and coffee. Cost us 60 dollars so was not impressed even for NewYork prices.
They take for top water 6$ for the person. Food was no good. I ordered crab bisque, that was like from packet soup from the store. And I ordered lobster risotto, rice was very boiled, and test no really nice. Prosecco was good. I don’t recommend this restaurant. The capital grille is better and more delicious.
Food was great but, a little overpriced in my opinion.
Great food
Great refreshing breakfast. Service is top notch too!
Delicious but super expensive. Ordered Classic Eggs Benedict, home fries, and moccacino.
Basic to say the least. Manage your expectations, the food doesn’t have a pinch of anything more than what’s written on the menu. Diner food grade.
Great brunch, right next to The Plaza Hotel. Incredibly crowded with very little personal space. Food is good, but nothing incredible.
This was my favorite place to have breakfast when in Manhattan. Food and service is great.
Delicious, stylish, and you can't beat the location. Overpriced? Have you noticed you're across the street from Central Park?
Love the French toast. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Also kid friendly. I find it a bit cramped, but it is ok given that there food is good.
Every time I come to Sarabeth's I get the same amazing experience food hasn't disappointed me not even in the worse days... food always on point in flavor and service is always excellent...
Great food and service. Only 3 stars because they overcharge. Get ready to pay $20 for eggs!
Good food and amazing customer service, I give it 4 stars for the place is so small
Wonderful! The food is outstanding and the service was excellent! A must!
Tasty brunch but note: they will only do reservations before 9am, and they will not do substitutions on menu items at brunch. So if, like me, you're sort of picky about how you like your breakfast food, you may want to consider a more traditional NYC diner.
Outdated 70s decor and over priced. Don’t even think of asking for a refill on your soda - not complimentary. Food was tasty if expensive.
The saddest Mac n cheese I’ve ever had
There was almost to wait in the morning for a table and the wait staff were very fast and responsive. The eggs were delicious and their muffins were amazing!
Very odd, I must say. Despite the restaurant being half empty at 9am, I just paid around $40 to eat breakfast in what could only be described as a corridor.
One of my friend recomended this place and I really liked it. Nice dishes and the ambiances of here is kind of fancy but also cozy.
Really enjoyed my experience at this place. Great atmosphere, the staff was very accommodating of our 8 month old. Can attend in casual clothing or dressed up and either fits right in. Recommended! Reasonable prices too for the experience.
Great place to have breakfast just near central park. There is a long wait but a bit fast. The staff is good and very welcoming. All seats were occupied along with the outside seating. I had to sit on the bar as I was alone. Had one of the best pancakes ever tasty and fluffy. The lady next to me had me try her french toast which was real tasty too. Coffee was not hot enough and got another one which was not hot either. Considered to be the most expensive breakfast restaurant ever but I tried it just once due to its reputation. Worth a visit.
