This was my first time, my wife and I was with good friends, I had fish and chips and my wife had the Classic New York Ruben and everything was hot and fresh and came quickly. If you like football there are plenty of T.V.'s very nice atmosphere.

Food was okay, and it’s a really cool marina, but the restaurant/bar was overall dirty and crowded. Wait staff was too busy (around 8pm on a Friday) to handle the people eating and the bar crowd at the same time. Food service was slow, so we ended up listening to house music while eating a cheeseburger. Ok

It was my first time here and I'll go back. We sat outside overlooking the water which I love. We ordered sushi which was very good, plenty of sushi options! Plenty of other food items too including pizza, fish & chips, something for just about anyone. Very large restaurant and also has a sports bar. I will definitely be back!

Over a hour to get 2 pizza,and a chicken sandwich. Service was slow.Waitress hardly checked on us.place was loud,had bingo going on.Seems they were more interested in moving people on and off the deck,then those inside.Wont be going back here.

We went for dinner with a group of 6. Restaurant was busy and had a small wait for inside seating. Waitress took our drink order. Then we ordered appetizers. Later ordered dinner. Was a wait for everything. Drinks. Longer wait for appetizers. Dinner took just under an hour. And we only ordered 2 pizzas, fish taco, chicken wrap, and chicken sandwich. Waitress wasn't very apologetic for the long waits. Maybe she was having a bad day. Also extremely loud and hard to have a conversation without reading lips.

Went here for a birthday and it was very nice. The wait staff was on top of drinks and requests very promptly. I only walked through the bar area and briefly saw people dancing in a designated area but it looked like a good time~ crowded lol but fun.

Had a nice Sunday brunch here with friends. The location is perfect; it's right on the water in Brick. The interior is nice and relatively simple. The brunch offerings are pretty standard, with eggs and bacon and potatoes (great for our Irish ladies' gathering). The best option, we all agreed, is the corned beef hash, which seemed to have been homemade. It had a few chunks of corned beef, and the overall taste was excellent. Oh, and the drinks were great too. I had a Bloody Mary and a mimosa, and both were wonderful and even a bit strong. I'll definitely come back for a brunch during the summer, when the views out on the marina should be lovely.

Was here for a wedding after party. Overall a great time. Drink prices were reasonable. Only complaint was IDing everyone even if they were obviously old enough to be in the establishment.

We docked our friends' boat and dived into some good food and beverages. They have a great indoor and outdoor dining with a tropical island feel. Live music on Sunday afternoons. Service for beverages was a little slow, but otherwise was good. Will definitely love to come back here by land or sea to get some more rocking food by the river!

We have not been here for many years since it is usually packed and way too loud. Tonight we decided to give it a try. It was not busy and we were brought to a table right away. Though this was not packed at all, it was still very loud. We sat there for 30 minutes without someone coming over. No drinks... No "do you need more time"... Literally nothing. There were two waitresses in our area and neither gave us the time of day even though we tried. We packed up and mentioned it to the hostess as we left. She did not seem surprised and had no empathy towards our situation. Kinda just said we can have a nice night. Won't be going back here again.

I remember years ago this was the old Petersons. Haven't been there in forever after living out of state. Went for dinner with some friends on a Saturday night & decided to stay for some old time fun. Wrong!!! It started out well but as the evening progressed things took a dark turn. I had beer spilled on me, was pushed into the bar and toes mashed by anonymous shoes. The best part of the evening was meeting & talking to Cliff on the security staff. A gentle, massive man. I gave River Rock one star out of my own disappointment. The food was pretty good and I would probably go back on a weekend afternoon for an outside lunch. I think my toes will be safe then.

I'd give you more stars but I'm only allotted the 5. Every item we ordered was amazing and our server was friendly and quickly attentive. We ordered two dozen oysters, the coconut shrimp, the avocado sashimi tartare and the drunken clams! Each more amazing than the next. Kudos to the chef and staff!!!

Nice place. This was my first time here. A bit on the noisy side when busy, which it was, you are better off sitting outside on the deck if possible. You can then look out over the water. I had the chicken coconut salad, which was very tasty!

Went for a late dinner on Wednesday in which we had to wait for a table to open up for almost an hour even though we saw tables available and informed the host a few times and she said we needed to wait. I ordered sushi and it was just okay average, almost like what you expect from a commercial supermarket sushi. I had a martini which was not prepared correctly and all i tasted was straight alcohol as if it were a shot. I don't see myself giving this place another try.

I wrongly assumed having dinner outside on the patio area of the River Rick would be relaxing on a summer night. Maybe it's just me but I really didn't enjoy eating in a sand pit . Add to that sand fleas or some of gnat flying around. There are much cleaner ways to achieve a laid back, casual Jersey Shore experience. Added insult...the food was mediocre at best. My Greek salad and dressing lacked any real flavor. This is a definite cross off for any future visit.

Nice bar right on the river that normally has live entertainment all summer long. Wednesday is ladies night and they have some really good specials. Food is good, bar pizzas were very good. Parking can be difficult at times.

If you haven't visited River Rock in the recent past you would be surprised at how much it has improved. Much improved menu options and well prepared. Service was attentive and cheerful on an extremely busy night. Bar was packed but bartenders were quick to get to patrons.

My co-worker had a retirement/birthday party there. We ate nachos, cheese sticks,pizza and wings. Everything was good. The booze was flowing freely and everyone had a good time. Service was great & food was hot. They allowed the family to decorate the tables that we used, which was very nice of the River Rock. Great time was had by all.

The music is loud, even for a sports bar. Decent menu but out of our party of 3, every dish was way under seasoned. Someone wrote on Yelp that their burgers would probably be a better choice over their fancier dishes. I'd have to agree.

I've only been here twice but I've had good experiences both times. I'm not THRILLED by the food and service but the overall feel more than compensated for it. Quality bar food and pretty good seafood. I don't drink but there happy hour specials seem pretty good. Fun summer spot.

Ambiance was a nice bay view but service was little slow, and the lobster sandwich had about a tablespoon of a chop lobster on it with more lettuce & tomatoes. The chips lacked seasonings but were crispy & not oily. The mahi taco was okay.

Large restaurant, large parking, large menu, easy access. Good food, slightly pricy but worth it. Good service. Accommodated group of 13 - six adults, seven children ages eight to fourteen - with no problems. Would return again and again and recommend it!

Got the habanero mako shark. It was literally melt in your mouth. I've never had such good mako outside of my own home. The service was fantastic. Our server Keith was excellent and cheerful. A smile on his face everytime he checked up on us. The atmosphere was vibrant and energetic. All football games were on all the TVs. Everyone wearing their team jersey. And nobody bickering with another. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. I live about 45 min north and this place is well worth the trip. Not to mention the portions were spot on for the price point. Definitely don't feel like I got the short end on this one. I can't wait to get back.

Be careful when making a reservation that your table is not next to a trash can where every server and bus person throws glass bottles into it causing everyone at your table to jump each time. It is somewhat loud in the dining area but the constant sound of bottles crashing into each other in the can right next to our table ruined our lunch. Aside from that the food was good.

Always delicious. Great location. Liquor store is close by. The staff (although always busy) is extremely kind and put up with a lot of Bs so it's impressive how they are able to keep their cool. Great place though -food is always decent. The pizza is sick. Not a lot down that way but that is definitely a place to go.

A very nice restaurant. Waitress was amazing. They host event nights which is a nice chase of pace from the average restaurant. All of those are easy upsides. Downside was the kitchen staff. We ordered a tuna melt minus the melt (a tuna fish sandwich) that came out toasted and a chicken wrap which came out on the wrong wrap flavor. Food was good though. I will come back This is a place that deserves a frequent visit even with the hiccup or two.
