We've got the opinions of real people who are buying the products of Refinery Rooftop (Restaurant) in the area close to New Jersey.
At this moment this firm gets a score of 4.3 out of 5 and that score was based on 1345 reviews.
As you can see its rating is high, and it's based on a high number of scores, so we can think that the valuation is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to value when they are happy with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to place reviews when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant belongs to the category of Bar.
Good luck trying to hold a conversation. very loud.
It’s easy to get lost in the rooftop world of NYC and not know where to go, but this one should definitely be on your list. There might be a line outside and it’s for a reason- good atmosphere, great food and drinks are well made too.
Friendly service, delicious food and brilliant views!
My husband and I were in NYC for our 1st wedding anniversary and the folks at Refinery Rooftop outdid themselves! We had our own private table on their covered patio with a few of the city AND, they brought us complimentary champagne and a sweet hand-written note - which is sooo sweet because 1st anniversaries are when you give paper as a gift! The food was stellar, too!
Atmosphere was great and the view was nice
Great sophisticated place for a cocktail or wine paired with a nice chat w/friends.
girls day was a blast! staff was very friendly and attentive
great drinks and great vibe
Loved the cocktails and the business lunch deal. Great atmosphere and views. Definitely recommend the hummus.
Very accommodating for a family function
Cool view of the empire state building. Heaps of suits/yuppies after work. Harmless and a little bit on the fancy end. Lovely atmosphere. Good for groups and people trying to get the ultimate NY selfie and or group photo in a nice setting for tinder.
Perfect for midtown happy hours, impressing bros, and sailors who’ve washed ashore for Fleet Week. The views are cool and service is much better than expected! The crowd can be hit or miss with a few big creepers. But the bouncer is awesome!
Loved it! Great location, great food choices, great selection of drinks.
Nice view, great crowd. Although the crowd gets out by 11pm ish! Not sure why. Good for a date
For me it was excellent! But when my friend trying to order a cocktail she mentioned she wanted something sweet then her drink was awful and when she claim to the waitress, she was like “you said you wanted something sweet” in our head she asks something sweet not to make it sweeter. It literally tasted like a candy syrup says my friend. In the other hand we had beef burger slider, truffle fries, calamari and tuna something. Love it!all tasty! And my drink was amazing! Whiskey sour which they put some twist I would definitely go back again. Oh and our seat are perfect view too!
We had a girls weekend in NYC seeing a show and stopped for a bite to eat prior to our matinee! There were no tables available so we sat at the bar and that was our lucky day!!! Our bartender, Brian was outstanding!! He made our time there so very enjoyable! The food was excellent and the service was perfect!! We will definitely return!! Thank you to Brian for making us feel so special “the refinery Rooftop”! He was awesome!!
Perfect place to enjoy lunch or hh all year round. I love that during the winter they have a heated terrace that keeps you nice and toasty. I love all the soups they’ve ever had, their meatballs are amaze, the fried chicken is delicious. You just can’t go wrong here.
This rooftop is located within the Refinery Hotel. It's situated in a prime location, with amazing views of the Empire State Building. This rooftop has an industrial chic vibe, pretty decor, and fireplace to cosy up to in the colder months. They have a retractable glass ceiling so, even if it's raining or snowing, you can enjoy your cocktails all year round. Reservations are recommended if you're going with a group and want a table. They have the best sharing plates and fun bites to eat while sipping on your cocktail and catching up with friends. I recommend trying the roasted cauliflower sandwich, so good! This place is always busy especially during the weekends and during the summer time!
The management and bar staff can be a bit off putting, however the view of the Empire State Building and ambience are very nice here! I’d recommend making a reservation to ensure you get a table, otherwise your only option is to stand around the bar!
Went there friday afternoon, quite crowded and hectic both in positive and negative ways. No doubt the roof has gorgeous and somewhat relaxed views but the services there are rather scattered and inefficient as the staffs don’t seem to be able to communicate each other very well. Worth stopping by once, no more than that.
Great view even when it's cold. Service staff were so kind and the portions we're great, even for appetizers.
Great spot for a chill night out with a perfect Empire State view. Drinks and music were good.
Nice views, however needs more bar staff to get around the crowd. Went on a Friday evening (8ish) and waited long to be served or noticed by the 3 bartenders behind the bar. The frozé machine was a little backed up and was not working properly for 10 minutes. Overall drinks and food were good.
Always a great spot for a drink with an incredibly nice view of the Empire State Bldg.
Great Location! One of the all time best Rooftops with a magnificent view of the Umpire State Building in the City. The dining is wonderful and the Bar is great!
Incredibly loud space to stand and have a drink. Seating is only for those with a reservation and there is a $100 per person minimum for reservations. There was a private party on the patio so we couldn't escape the loud interior to enjoy the view of the Empire State Building. The doorman was helpful in suggesting that we eat dinner elsewhere and come back for a drink when the crowd had thinned, but overall we were sorry we wasted our time and money for this unpleasant experience. I wouldn't have wanted to eat here in the noise anyway. It was one of the loudest places I've ever visited.
Good food. They fit us right in without reservations. Nice views
Super delicious food. Very kind staff. View is amazing. You can see the Empire State Building while eating. Great experience, will come back.
Refinery’s rooftop has a beautiful bar area, cozy (& heated!) sunroom and two smallish outdoor areas that overlook the city with great views of the The Empire State Building. The drinks are pretty standard, but this place rocks for its layout. Great for mingling, work happy hours and chill nights out!
Awesome feel to this place. Visited on a Saturday night and it was packed. Very upscale presence but inside it's all chill vibes with a feel of a lounge. Great music. Service was a little slow at our table and it was impossible to check out the part of the roof top that wasn't covered without being blasted by frigid air or smokers. Wish this was setup better. The other thing which was frustrating is our group which was still spending money at our table was pushed inside and not given a reason why we had to move into the other area when the night wasn't over yet. Sure we weren't the only group asked to move to the inside but it certainly killed our vibe.
Loved it. Perfect to go with co-workers.
Solid rooftop with great food and drink selection. Had the BLT sandwich for lunch and a side salad. Great place to people watch and enjoy the sun in the spring. It does get toasty under the skylight by the bar. Just a heads up to our heat / light sensitive friends.
Refinery Rooftop is always a good time. You might wait a bit depending on when you go, but the rooftop area and inside/outside bar up top never feels overly crowded, usually just the right amount. Nice city views, would recommend.
We came here on a Rainy Monday for Brunch. The weather did not help but it was still a very nice experience. I hope you are coming for the spectacular rooftop experience but not the brunch dishes. They are not bad at all, I was only expecting something better. The staff, however, is professional, friendly and helpful! I will still come back for the vibes and try it at night next time!
Great views. A little packed, but worth a visit for a rooftop drink. Easy to get into on a Tuesday evening in early October.
All around great rooftop bar. It's lively but not too crammed. There's a decent mix of people from all over being it's above a hotel. If you're going for a relaxed but chic vibe with a view of the Empire State Building, this is your spot.
Great roof top bar! Wonderful view of the Empire State Building. The drinks were a little pricey but the food was excellent. We had the tater tots, meatballs (delicious!) and the flatbread pizza (also delicious!). The atmosphere was great.
Enjoying a nice day in NYC, sitting on a rooftop, eating a great brunch, drinking a Mimosa, and viewing the Empire State Building. Can’t ask for much more. This place was a nice touch, with a wonderful staff and great decor. When I visit again, I will definitely look forward to coming back.
Awesome rooftop bar. Great atmosphere / vibes / tasty drinks. Good view of the Empire State Building as well.
Great food and atmosphere
Watered down and overpriced drinks. Don't buy drinks that require mixing. Vibe is lovely though.
It has a nice view, which is why it gets two stars. But to be so loud, crowded, expensive, and snooty... why bother? Plenty of other great places nearby.
Fun time, good food, great scene
Can’t comment on the actual drinks or view ... but 2 stars because while the woman in front of us was allowed in with a bathing suit and jeans on, my husband was turned away for having on shorts.
Really nice place to hang out. Gets really crowded fast. I recommend making a reservation. Really good bar food, nice atmosphere. Staff needs to relax a little, they are way too uptight.
I took my friend here for lunch on her birthday this July 4. The reservation email said dress code was casual chic so we both got more dressed than we would have liked on such a hot day. However as we saw more and more people come in, they were wearing cargo shorts, tshirts, and sneakers. We felt like idiots. Our server was not unpleasant but she wasn’t pleasant either. We were given the impression she wanted to be doing anything else than helping us. Granted we are not 21 and not the demographic for this spot, but it would still have been nice to be treated as if we weren’t interrupting her day off. The food was not bad, definitely overpriced for what you get. I inhaled my 3 happy hour sized tacos that cost about $7 each, but that is par for the course at these types of places. You go for the view and the atmosphere, not to have the greatest meal of your life. The Frosé was on point which is about the best thing I can say about Refinery Rooftop. If we had just gone for drinks, perhaps the experience would have been less of a letdown.
Great cocktails from the bar. The views are outstanding and the short menu gives a great flavor for what the full dining experience could be like. Stays open late so bring a friend and enjoy the views.
Love the atmosphere and food!
Place was ok. First two menu options we picked they came back and told us they were out of both. It happens I guess. They kept asking us to move our table(literally move the table over) once to close the doors than they moved us again and than changed our seats for whatever reason(yes, the actual seats). I get it the place kinda changes atmosphere after a certain time but this was around 4pm and lets be serious... wait till we finish eating to constantly do this. The food was good and dont really have any complaints about that. The drinks were good also. Took me forever to pay as well(our waiters shift ended halfway through). The hostess walked away from me twice when I tried to give her the payment and had an attitude while doing so... per other reviews I read on the place it seems that attitude here can be an issue. Best part of the time spent there was the waiter Jordan. He knew the menu backwards and forward. He had a great personality and was very pleasant to deal with. Didn’t feel like you were doing a business transaction but made you feel as if you knew who he was and it was a friendship interaction.
Fantastic venue, classy crowd, stunning views, and pricy drinks.
Busy but lively place. Decently priced drinks and bites.
Great service, tasty drinks and food (not exactly cheap but hey it's New York) and a lovely view of the Empire state builidng. Loved the atmosphere in the evrning. Very cosy.
Overpriced drinks but great location
Great views, great service, perfect atmosphere
Drinks were watered down and expensive. Space was pretty
Beautiful rooftop oasis in the middle of downtown NYC! The staff were very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. We loved the peach martinis, bacon and egg sandwiches, and flatbreads. Our waitress, who's name escapes me now (she had long, pretty, dark hair) and Leo were wonderful! The hostess was also a great choice for the first person you see when entering your establishment. She was very upbeat and personable. Definitely worth a stop on any busy NYC itinerary. We had such a great time and will definitely be back.
Great roof top. Go!
Refinery Rooftop is one of the best rooftop places in which I have been. The food is amazing and they have a lot of different and I interesting meals. If you have any difficulties with the menu just ask for help, the staff is really friendly and helpful. Thanks to Teddy's guide for recommending this location.
This place has a great ambiance. Great for after work drinks or private company party venue. Michael Rivera is a great bartender. He was so quick with service and attentive! He remembered my name right away. Get your drinks from him if you’re waiting too long
Good selection of beer and drinks. Great view of ESB
Really nice accommodations and cool rooftop bar
Nice setup but do not be fooled by appearances. Pre mixed cocktails which are very average at best.
Great views but food is so-so. We ordered sliders, fries, tacos, only guacamole was good in my opinion. I guess it's really more a bar than restaurant but I expected better. Good atmosphere...kinda packed with multiple events but kept up with service. I was a guest, we had a section to ourselves with minimum F&B required. Tip: bustling and a little noisy, can get pretty crowded! Stay away if you don't prefer that.
A very cool place, you Can feel like a real New Yorker here! The cocktails are very well made, and they worth all their cost. Maybe the tables are a little bit too small for dishes like pizza or something else.
Love this place. Great food, people watching and a fantastic brunch spot.
Crowded on a Friday evening. Great vibe.
Great place. Super dope vibe. It's a rooftop venue of course. They serve tapas. And great flatbreads. They also have a pretty good wine and cocktail menu. And the prices of very reasonable. I only recommend that a reservation is made if one wants to go. Cause it does get crowded and the wait can be an hour at least.
It doesn't have the best view of all the rooftops, but it's got a cozy wooden outside deck that feels like it's the house desk of a really really rich friend. But this friend is very popular and invites a lot of people over on the weekend.
Very cool atmosphere! Staff on the ground level that greeted us was super entertaining while we waited for the elevator.
Probably one of the most popular rooftop bar in NYC. Wait - please make a reservation. It is always crowded. We were there on Saturday afternoon around 3 pm (a last-minute pick) and we were told the wait for a table was 1.5 hours Food - it is ok and within expectation. Nice presentation tho. Drinks - the cocktails were good. But on a slightly pricy side. Vibe - really nice and cute environment with the red bricks. Music were not too loud for Saturday afternoon and we could still have a good conversation.
Great drinks, DJ, views, and decor (lots of plants
This place is epic! The atmosphere is great, staff is amazing, food is great. What more could you ask for??
Not crazy about the drinks but the scenery is nice.
Amazing view of the empire state building. Great to visit in any season; they open the ceiling window during the summer for a nice breeze while they close it in winter (but you can still catch the view) As for the place itself, you have the option to either stand and chill around the bar or sit in a table. However, for the table i recommend that you make a reservation beforehand especially if you have a party larger than 2
Nice place, nice view, cocktails ok. It's expensive of course, and I found the cocktails to be... Lacking. Though for the experience it's worth a try I suppose.
Get the octopus skewers...stunning flavor. We asked for a small cup of the chimichurri sauce and sipped it for the rest of the meal. The food was really delicious...exactly what food should be! And the setting energized and hip. The cocktails weren’t magical, but good enough. Staff was charming and sincerely looking to please.
So much fun!
Cool spot to grab a drink on a rooftop
Nice, though the kitchen closed at 11 is not what I would expect... and the cocktails menu was a little light.
Amazing view. Bartenders are fantastic and the food is incredible!
On a Tuesday evening it was more lit than I expected it to be. They close off the seats for reservations outside but that's because they need to make that shmoney. They also have complimentary bathrooms and bag check which is nice. I left some tip because they leave tip jars and it was a great experience overall.
Great place but rarely not enough seating for a big party
It’s an okay place. Relatively small and very crowded even early in the evening (6-7pm). There’s a mandatory free coat check which is great. Staff is nice, the view is okay, but I’ve seen better from other rooftops. I had the Perfect Pear cocktails which was good but a tad bit too sweet for my liking. Also, I didn’t really feel the alcohol in it- it’s not like I wanted to get drunk from 1 cocktail but for $16 I’d expect more booze in it, and again, I compare this to other rooftops too where I felt like I got more for my money. For me that’s also kind of off putting that they try to squeeze as many people into that small place as possible and they told us to move to another part of the place as they were setting up a party- but there were already 3 other different events going on there... just weird.
Nice terrace to enjoy a great cocktail menu with a view. Friendly staff.
absurdly overpriced ( but it’s an nyc rooftop what do you expect?!) but great service, lovely view and calm ( but still fun) ambiance!
Who doesn’t want to start Saturday with a bottle of sparkling wine for brunch? The food menu for brunch is spectacular - especially the Caesar Salad flat bread - imagine some sort of hybrid, breakfast pizza and you still won’t be able to comprehend it unless you try it. The waiter was super friendly and was great at making small talk. The venue is awesome and buzzing with manhattan’s finest
Trendy rooftop dining experience.
Great service, really good food
I asked for meatballs and they came cold. Maybe because the kitchen was about to close, they wanted to end work quickly. Plus the meatballs were like processed meat, as if from Costco. Very bad.
Great food. Awesome views. Service is excellent
Great atmosphere and location
Best view of Empire State Building! Great service & ambiance
Fantastic venue for views onto the Empire State building. Service was very good, as was the food.
Spectacular views from roof top bar!
Beautiful place, perfect Service, food is delicious!
Beautiful view of midtown from roof top resturant.
Pretty cool place. Good music and plenty of space to move around. Definitely an older crowd.
Good vibes here and drinks aren't so bad either. I would recommend!
Rooftop space was lovely!! Reservations are recommended during peak times because it got crowded fast. Drinks were expensive but it is NYC so it is what I expected
Nice staff. Food was also pretty good. Staff acvomodated us very well. Allowed us to chill for as long as we wanted. I don't drink but my friends enjoyed their drinks for sure. Liked the view and atmosphere alot. Had fun over all would recommend people to try it out.
Great rooftop terrace!
Amazing drinks and beautiful view of Empire State.
I stopped in this place to get a quick roof time viewing - it was stunning
This spot is all about the location. I went there for brunch on a Sunday. The brunch menu was fairly small and there were not a lot of options for vegetarians (a veggie sausage or bacon would have been appreciated). We also had to send a bloody Mary back because it tasted funky. Otherwise, service was excellent and the food was above average. Highly recommend you make reservations to ensure you get seated. Will be recommending to friends.
Great place, nice view with good music i like going there Saturday morning or week days but you will have to check if there is any private event or anything .
Made a reservation. When we showed up the bouncer said he couldn’t find it. Showed him the confirmation and he said it was for “Trademark”. The trademark he was referring to was the website’s trademark. Smart one. Had to stand in line. Avoid this place.
Very cosy place...nice experience
Very cool place with a great view
Don’t go to dinner here the night. Way too noisy. It’s a nice place for lunch and have a glass
I definitely want ALL of you reading this to go. It is very hip, friendly staff, amazing food and the roof top views of the NYC, well another reason. You! Should be there like right now!!! Go!
Very crowded but fun. Good pizza and wings
Great atmosphere atop a beautiful hotel. The drinks were made to perfection. The tapas are very good. Excellent calamari and margherita pizza. We had such wonderful and attentive staff. Reservations are necessary as this place fills up quickly. Thank you Aubrey and Christine for a fun evening!
Pricey drinks and it gets pretty crowded. Overall good atmosphere.
Overall good experience. Sadly you cannot reserve a table for a party under 5. I arrived at 4:50pm...at this time there was no line for elevator up and the rooftop area wasn’t crowded. The only place I was allowed to sit/choose was the area inside, not the rooftop. I was told I could only have the table until 6:30pm because it was reserved (for 2) at that time...hum confused...I thought there were no reservations under a party of 5. Anyway, chose a table by the fountain. The staff was friendly, the slight exception was the hostess. As I waited for my friend to arrive, the place became busier and busier. Lots of folks coming from work with their backpacks. By 5:45 the place was full. The food is good. We had the guacamole, fish tacos and sliders. However it’s not the same rooftop experience if you have to sit inside, hence not seeing out from the actual rooftop. However it’s a fun vibe, even though it gets really loud which makes it super hard to have a conversation. Recommend coming with a party of at least 5 and making a reservation for the actual rooftop area. Also, don’t expect any HH specials, it’s not cheap here. For 3 apps and 2 drinks without tip it was $90!
Great rooftop spot with a pricey menu. Awesome for clients or out of town guests.
Last week my fiancé and I got engaged at the Refinery Rooftop. Aside from the spectacular view of NYC, we received the the best and highest standards of hospitality a hotel and or restaurant could provide. Our experience exceeded all expectations. The entire staff was so involved in the process they made my proposal the best proposal and beyond imagining. Not only was the service exceptional but each item ordered off the food menu was also a hit. I can’t thank enough the entire staff at Refinery Rooftop. Thank you to the managers, Leo & Isaac for the execution and assuring everything went so smooth, to the kitchen staff for the late accommodations, Rose, who helped to deliver the exceptional service and Chris for the planning and reservations! We will definitely be returning and recommending the Refinery Rooftop to everyone we know!
Expensive but nice location. Nice terrasse, the view is solala.
Amazing restaurant to share with friends and girlfriends.Really nice
Gooooood to meet people m
Disrespectful bartenders. Smashing drinks around. Barely talking to customers
Pretty, but busy on Sat. afternoon. Have to make reservations. Walk in may have to wait.
12 thousand years go by, it's just me, no other sounds in this long ago forgotten acropolis. I can still see the building they called the Empire. The plants have not overthrown this part of the forgotten city, and this once rooftop still exists untouched. Here I come to pay tribute to those long forgotten. I drink and eat like they once did and I know why this was a chosen spot to do so. Here's to you ancient civilization, cheers.
Yummy flatbreads, cozy space even when the roof isn't open. Big fan of the mozzarella donuts they had at brunch. Love the ambiance and the servers were really nice. Would come back
An outdoor rooftop with great energy and excellent food. The service is on point and the caramel topped cheesecake is a must have following the burger!
Comfortable casual restaurant and bar on top of the Refinery Hotel on East 38th Street. Open air when the weather is nice, buttoned up when it's not. Tasty food. Fish tacos stand out, as do the flatbreads (little pizzas). Fried chicken sandwich is excellent. Friendly and competent staff.
Happy hour is downstairs which is good for some margaritas. Rooftop is one of the nicer ones in New York. Can bring drinks from downstairs or get them upstairs.
Nice bar serving a small but solid menu of cocktails - new and more traditional. Good selection of beer and the food is varied and very tasty. There's a balcony area with outdoor heat lamps so you can sit and enjoy your cocktail in the hustle and bustle of New York. We went early and there was a short wait for a table but by the time you've looked at the menu and ordered a drink, the time fly by. We will be heading back there on our one week trio to New York.
Chic and chill vibe with friendly staff. Came for brunch and had the breakfast sandwich and a “perfect pear” drink. The atmosphere and music was perfect for a spring afternoon out in the city!
The place it’s nice. It’s no a cheep place and it’s no parking around. So if you go be prepared to paid at lease 40 dollars per parking.
I gave 3 stars because I didn't get to FULLY immerse myself here. The atmosphere is an upbeat lounge. Good music, room to bop and sway with a friend, or you can relax and chat away. There were three private parties going on that sectioned off most of the place when I went. That limited me to the bar, which is nice in itself. It also wasn't hard to be seen by the bartenders and actually get service. I buckled down and paid for my pricey calamari AND I DON'T REGRET IT. I'd throw my money at them for some more any day of the week. If you want a spot that you can chill at but still feel classy and get a snack, try this place. And talk to the hostess if getting a table is important. They'll try to help you out the best they can. It was raining when I went, but I don't think you get a good view of the empire state building. Just the lighted tip really. Go elsewhere for that.
Tasty drinks good food great service. Food came out super quickly. Mr Black cocktail was excellent. Nice work.
Loved the atmosphere, food and drinks. Staff was very friendly. Can't wait to go back
Great spot with amazing views and even better service!!!
Amazing view of empire state building
Beautiful outdoor terrace with a spectacular view of The Empire State Building. Hip Trendy earthy bar with artisinal cocktail and $$ menu. Great place have an after work relaxation drink. Menu is not too complicated and plates are sharable. Staff was kind and the atmosphere is very chill even seductive. Definitely a rooftop must stop in NYC.
First time here. Food was great!! Drinks enough to give you a little buzz for the rest of your New York journey of the day!! Staff friendly and efficient. Prices readonable
A trendy place with overpriced food and drinks. You do get a nice view of the Empire State Building. There is ample seating in a comfortable environment. Full bar. A few tap beers. Pizza is subpar (save you $ and get it from a place off the street). Salad was good as was the smoky bacon garnish on it. Music is a little loud.
Everything is ridiculously overpriced to pay for the view and they actually charged me for the ice in my drinks. #Classy
Awesome rooftop patio with a view of the Empire State Building. I went here on a Friday evening/night. Expect to wait in a line to get in but it was worth the wait for us. Great selection of bar food and drinks. The place was packed but it was still a great vibe. Worth checking out!
One of the BEST places in all of NYC. Outstanding small plates (the sliders are a must), excellent craft cocktails, fun atmosphere, superb service. Caleb the bartender makes a superior Old Fashioned. Very highly recommended!!!
Perfect place with a cool view. Good service and nice meal.
Great view of Empire State Building. Nice rooftop bar.
Good drinks with an amazinh view
This place has so many reasons to love it .Its a rooftop bar for one nice drinks , great food , wonderful service thank you Charlie, View of the city if your lucky enough to get a seat out side thank you Julie. Completely different vibe at night .
Gréât music, $17 Cocktails tasted like moctails.Almost like the alcohol was being rationed
Very nice location, but the acoustics are horrible. It's like being in a high school cafeteria, almost got a headache. The outer part of the terrace is a bit better though. Get the frozen rosé as a cure, they're delish.
Excellent location, excellent decor... But the food was outstanding!! Excellent in every way.
Delicious food (especially the cinnamon rolls), great drinks (the frose is expensive but divine), and can't beat the views, the open air balcony, the glass roof. Cute decor, good service, wasn't too packed when we went at 1pm on a Saturday. Definitely a fabulous Manhattan summer destination. Only downside is it is pricey ($18 for one frose in a regular glass, $16 for 5 small cinnamon rolls which was the cheapest thing on the menu, and came with no extras).
Brunch was amazing. The sangria was delicious and balanced. The egg sandwich was the best I've ever had. Get the spinach and crab dip!
Right outdoor rooftop seats and an excellent view
The management and staff at Refinery last night really shocked my friends. After dining with a group of 10 or so on the patio, I accidentally left a pile of cash on the chair next to me. By the time i realized and got back to the table, there was a new party seated there. My friends said "there is no way you are getting that cash back" but i took the time to find someone to ask for help. Within 10 minutes the manager had found the cash, an employee was honest and turnes it over to him. It warmed my heart that their staff proved my friends wrong and i was very glad i had taken the time to give the staff the opportunity to be kind and honest. I told the manager to give half of the money to the person who turned it in as a reward, and he was so happy about the situation he bought me a drink. Not only is this restaurant have amazing food and beautiful views - they have an amazing a d beautiful staff!
great ambiance but when you eat here you feel like you are rushed out. i was still taking bites of my food while the bus boy took the plate from underneath me. i would come back and drink but as far as eating, if you’re looking for somewhere to hang out, go somewhere else.
Vibrant rooftop. Great drinks and food options.
Best views of the Empire State building! Can be crowded but totally worth the visit.
Even after making the reservation for a table with the view, we were seated near the elevator entrance with no view. We were there for an occasion and made sure to mention that in the reservation. Letting that aside, the food was enjoyable.
We had a blast at this place. The bottomless brunch drinks are something else! The music was great, the food delicious and the service outstanding! They have so nice view to see the city, the building are pretty high enough to see a good view. The food and drinks are pricy but you get what you paid for. i like there margarita with salt on the rim. Our server was always there for us to keep those drinks coming and making sure we got our food right away. I will come back here in a heart beat! They give you so much food so when you there make sure you are hungry. Food was tasty. This is good for groups and friends who want to have fun, also date. IG @kenexplorer
This was my third visit to New York but my first visit to the Refinery Rooftop. A friend that lives in Manhattan suggested we go here for a drink. We only had drinks and sat on the rooftop by the lamp heaters. My friends had the #ingoodco. Cabernet, perfect pear, and I had the fall fashioned. The cocktails were delicious and the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and lively all at the same time. I definitely would recommend stopping in for a cocktail on the rooftop, for the beautiful view.
This is a great place if you are looking to take in the NYC skyline! It's a rooftop so they know you will pay for the view so the drinks can be a bit expensive.
