I am a construction worker and one evening I've visited this establishment and was refused the bathroom i was accused of being homeless by the owner in the nicest way and offered coupons as a apology this probably wouldn't of happened if I was white. I have been a customer at least seven times and I thought the food was very good when they opened but The food is not As good anymore

Overpriced and portions are not great. Other Korean places nearby are cheaper with bigger portions. The flavor was toned down from all of the other Korean that I have had. Place was empty.

Beautiful place but the Korean wings were a big letdown. I love Korean wings but these were not made properly: 1) Batter/fried was too thick, yes, thicker than other Korean wings 2) The soy garlic sauce was goopy salty garbage, like cheap chinese sauce. Sorry, but other Korean places in Manhattan do it right, and this place fails.

Delicious Korean food! You can either build your own bowl or choose one of the menu items -- great selection of bases, meats and sides. The purple rice as a base was very good, as well. Highly recommended for a quick bite!

This place gets two stars only because of the nice clean environment. When you walk in you feel excited. But once you look at the food and then taste it you then realize you made a big mistake. I'm big on Korean food and my dad loves purple rice at this one sushi place we go to which has a purple rice option. The purple rice here was pretty weak. Wasn't hearty and sticky and tasted bland. Even worse were the entrees. My dad got the very dry chicken teriyaki (since it was probably sitting for two hours in the display) and I got the beef stew which was just bad. And the fried tofu. Also not tasty. Nice bathroom and facilities though. Hence the star

It's like the Chipotle of Korean Food - you pick your base and then you pick two sides. The food is really tasty and good quality too. If you're near the pit that is Penn Station, I would highly recommend stopping by for a quick lunch or dinner.

Listen, this place has fresh everything, and all made in house including the sauces. Comes off like one of those bento box places throughout the city, but the food quality is so much better and you can taste it. Tons of healthy options, and very good portions. I’m a big guy, but I’m stuffed. Last note on this one, super friendly staff (actually thanks you for your business), which is kind of a big deal in NYC. I’d say give this place a try, much better than a lot of the businesses near 30th st, 8th ave.

Tasty stuff, but there needs to be some kind of sauce or something. Nothing was bad, but it just...needed a little extra oomph to really be worth it in my mind and make things a little less dry. That isn't to say this place should be avoided, definitely worth checking out at least once to see if your palate disagrees with mine!

I really did not like this place. The drinks were expensive and food was so bland and medicore. I love korean food and have been on the hunt for good korean places to eat at so when i saw this place, i just had to try them. The bowls are not big, and they aren't really that fresh either. A bit pricey too for the protion you get. The crispy chicken was tough and you really couldn't taste the soy or garlic because the chicken was fried for too long and was sitting out too long. The rice was also really dry, it's supposed to be sticky. Chicken teriyaki was so "meh" compared to others of the same price in the area. Also if you ask for cheaper water (you know, water that costs less than 3 dollars per bottle) they will give you a small dixie cup of water. Terrible food and terribly over priced. The only good thing about this place was how clean everything was.

I was pretty excited about trying out this place but was overall a little indifferent. I ordered the spicy pork bowl and while the flavor was good, the ingredients had been out all day and seemed stale and not quite hot. I also had the dumpling soup which was okay but again just not what good Korean food should taste like. I don't want to be unfair. I guess if I did not have an expectation commensurate to the ratings, I probably would have been okay with it. The decor and atmosphere is metallic, with a Chipotle type of feel. Service was excellent and friendly. I wish them luck and success, but since I don't live in NYC it won't be a place I'll be going back to.

Great place for lunch or dinner. The Korean Beef Stew is amazing. The Chicken Teriyaki is very good and so are the roasted vegetables. Can't wait to try the homemade pork dumplings and the Korean fried chicken.

Had an amazing experience at this place - the pork belly bowl, dumplings, and wings were all cooked perfectly. The pork was very tender and flavourful and the portion sizes were large. Not to mention the owners are extremely nice and welcoming. Definitely stop by this place!
