REVIEWS OF Per Se IN New Jersey

I made a second visit to Per Se this trip. This is a place for a very occasional indulgence unless you are wealthy. Phenomenal food and service. This visit was accentuated by Artis, a fellow Texan who exuded personality and competence. He will go far in the restaurant business with his personal service attitude and love for his employer’s restaurant. There was not a “miss”in the entire meal. Highly recommend if you are a foodie.

Andrea

Excellent food quality, very nice and attentive staff, and relaxing ambiance. I really appreciated how they made our special occasion feel with the personalized menus and celebratory desserts! I unfortunately took away one star because I was disappointed in the lack of flavor creativity, was not impressed by certain courses, and certain food textures could have been a bit better. Also, the price that's charged (enough to go on vacation) does not meet the food experience. I was expecting more from this 3-star Michelin restaurant. This was my experience in August 2018.

Amanda K

Really nice experience. Dinner here is super delicious and the place is so beautiful.

That one Rad dad

some top notch food

Luke Savage

What an amazing experience. Food and service were top notch and of the highest quality.

Billion

An exceptional and amazing experience. Great atmosphere. Great service. Great food and drink.

David Carter

Excellent service. Great atmosphere and terrific food; however, very, very pricey.

Rui Xiong

I am fortunate to have previously experienced Per Se but this is the first time I am reviewing this place. Per Se did not disappoint the ratings and reviews it has received over the years. Everything was great except the duck. The duck lacks flavor and was a bit lackluster in comparison to the other dishes. The staff were wonderful and helpful in every way. We had a great experience! Highly recommend!

Joshua Hernandez

We celebrated our 11th anniversary and it was such a memorable experience. They customized the menu and accommodated my husband's allergies. Every dish was beautifully composed and the pacing was spot on. The desserts really capped off the night. The manager gave us a tour of the kitchen to finish out visit. Well deserved three Michelin Stars!

Jeffrey Wilson

The best if the best. Worth every penny paid for this meal, no, this experience!

Carrie West

French food here - excellent. It was so appetizing. Nothing but pleasant experiences here. Not so close to my office, unfortunately.

daniel dolezal-steiner

Staff was very friendly! The ambience is typical for a mall, it’s not special. The meal was fantastic good, but very expensive! We eat a steak salad vor 28$ without tax and tip. When you are there stay for the table water, because for the mineral water you have to pay 9$.

Jeremy Clark

Crazy expensive but almost worth the price! Staff awesome. Food very good. Can't quite justify the $800 lunch for two.

Alice Parker

Quick service, great ambiance, delicious food and friendly staff!

Nancy Talesfore

One of the best meals ever. I want to visit the French laundry in California to compare.

Kevin Kao

What an amazing experience this was. Walking in, you start feeling a different ambience which really sets the mood. Food and wine pairing was delicious, and service was excellent!

East Brunswick Kumon

I was disappointed their explanation when they serve the foods. I didn't know truffles is so expensive. They charged $350 few shave traffles. They should let me know price before they serve extra substitute food

Eddie Cramp

Nice menu, wide selection, modern design, food was gorgeous, staff were knowledgable and polite.

Ahmed Alshaiba

Absolutely love this place, I had 14 course menu with special selection of paired wine. Let's start with the view, a view that the food deserves, looks over central park, perfect for a date or special business meeting. The food was so good I didn't even take a pictures. Good wine that compliments the dishes. You will leave with a box of chocolate that is so good you don't want to finish. I only had one issue, my bill was $900+ just for me, which is absolutely fine with me, but as a person who've been to similar restaurants like Madison Square Park, I don't think asking for an (optional) tip is a good thing from such a restaurant. (MSP) they don't ask for a tip at all. Overall a place I will definitely vist again

Larry Miranda

Would absolutely recommend trying out this place. Excellent ambience, tasty food, fantastic service. Keep up the good work.

Gustavo Marcus

Dinner in the East room. Incredibly attentive service, respectful of our time and space. Beautiful view of Columbus circle for a group of 6, private but still connected to the main dining room if you wish. Food was memorable; looking forward to next adventure at Per Se

Neal Jacobs

Really perfect dinning option I throughly enjoyed the extensive wine list. Helpful waiter encouraged us to slurg on tqo bottles

Moshe Katz

Great dining experience with my wife and friends in tow. Service was over the top.

Annie T

The food was delicious and the service was great but it was nothing unexpected and certainly not worth the price.

Nathaniel Drapiza

I had a milestone birthday here and have to say I enjoyed every moment. I am not a ‘fancy’ person, but I love food and wanted to eat here for a long time. The wait staff made me feel at home and took every opportunity to make my meal as enjoyable as possible. All that said, the food was the star, as it should be. It was so good, so for lack of a better word, perfect. I hope I get the chance in the future to either come here again or visit French Laundry.

Amber Cook

This is a refined restaurant with very warm and welcoming staff. They are informed about the menu, the wine list and the food. The staff was outstanding and the atmosphere is welcoming.

Elora Allen

I just love the name of this place. The rest is even better than the name. Recommended

Laura Todd

The warm and kind staff of Per Se, views of Central Park and one delicious bite after another all contributed to one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. As a culinary professional it was simply inspiring to know that I was in the presence of a team professionals performing at the highest level of excellence. Congratulations to each and every one of you for the dedication and sacrifices you make daily to live your dream and be at this level in your career. It was amazing!!! Bravo and thank you for the wonderful experience.

Kimball Le

Servers are pretty awesome. Food and wine pairings were stellar.

Melissa M

This was a very anticipated experience. Service a d atmosphere were exceptional. Food very good but expected more of a wow experience, with more intense sauces. Many dishes. Barely cooked and while delicious were missing pizzazz. I wonderful experience but I don't think we will repeat it.

Frixos Larkos

Exceptional quality of food and service. Simply the best food experience I’ve had in my life. Though the prices are steep, it’s definitely worth it.

John Won

I cant say anything that is already said before. Amazing experience. Definitely deserve Michelin 3 star rating.

李典政

Fantastic lamb, lobster, and desert.

Julie Halperson

A wonderful experience. Staff is fantastic and each plate of the tasting menu was beautifully prepared and presented.

Ya~ food very delicious

Per Se, my go to restaurant to wine and dine clients and for special events. Never disappoints and their short ribs are to die for. They have seasonal menus and pre fixes and yes it will be very expensive but you get what you pay for. Each dish is presented like a work of art, especially the dessert dishes. The ambiance, service, food, and experience is unequal.

Lieven Vandergoten

Amazing experience! There are not enough words to describe it. Excellent menu. Service over the top. We went for the more “democratic” lunch. Lovely cocktails. Very good wine pairing. The only thing i would improve is the location, as it is within a shopping center...

Cristian Goldberg

Terrible, worst 3 star Michelin in my life .

Marleny Santos

Delicious, and exactly what you would expect from a Thomas Keller restaurant. Although it is a fixed menu, you do get certain options on some of the plates. I loved that they had the Oysters and Pearls appetizer, just like in French Laundry, and it was just as I remembered. The wine list is of course amazing and delicious. We were celebrating a birthday, so we got personalized menus and a cake at the end. Portions are perfect for you to feel satisfaréis but not overly full. Dessert is made up of around 5 different things for each person plus beignets and macaroons for the table. When you leave, you will get a ton box with almond shortbread cookies and if it’s your birthday, chocolate bars. It was overall a lovely experience, my only thing with this restaurant is its location, it is in the top floor of a shopping mall, next to other very good restaurants to be fair. That said, having to take the escalator and walk through a shopping mall kind of takes a bit away from the elegance of the restaurant and the evening.

Allon Bloch

I can easily say this is the best restaurant I've ever visited. The food and the service is spectacular, and you leave feeling so happy despite the huge bill. You can select from one of two tasting menus; one with meat, the other vegetarian, but they are always accommodating at changing dishes for your dietary requirements (or desires). This trip included ossetra caviar, fois gras, fluke with a citrus foam, quail, steak with an amazing reduction and duck with perfect crispy skin. Then they bring a 7-8 different desserts and cookies on the way out. It's not something you can do all the time, but I can't think of anywhere I'd rather go got a special treat every few years.

Larissa Trost

Great dining experience as always. One of my favorite restaurants. Nice set up and great location. The atmosphere and service are exceptional. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my many dinners at this restaurant.

anita kinney

The whole experience was a journey for my tastebuds. I've never tasted food like this before. There moments of excitement, bliss, and pure satisfaction. I still remember the dinner because the tastes that I've experienced was unforgettable.

Soila Thoell

Julio Rodriguez

what an Amazing experience.. The food was really delicious.. A restaurant with 3 Michelin Stars, truly worth it. I will definitely return.

Angie Bailey

I love Per Se. They are able to accommodate dietary preferences/restrictions. We did the upgraded wine pairing with dinner. The service is amazing and they pay attention to detail. The food is mouthwatering. Nothing like I've ever had before. I'd have to say this is one of my favorite (the other is Masa) restaurants in the city. A real treat for sure, buy very much worth it!

Kurt Fifelski

Per Se is worth every penny. Each course of food is better than the last and the service is incredible. They are also incredibly cautious about allergies, to the extent that they're willing to change the whole menu around. The view of Central Park is impeccable, and if you tell them of a special occasion during your final emails about your reservation it seems like they will put you in an even better spot.

Tim Burke

Amazing experience with all the great service and food you would expect.

Keith Cook

This was a dining trip, which had more twists and turns, than an Agatha Christie novel. We were scheduled to go to New York City with another couple – a “couple of foodie winos.” The entire focus of the trip was just to dine, and enjoy Spring in The City. That did not happen, as the other couple had to withdraw. Then, work encroached into our schedule, so our 7 nights of fine-dining, became but 4, and one of those was after a late arrival. Business meetings were added to each end, and our flight into NYC had to be late, so that basically killed one night of dining.

Belinda Thompson

Great place, we really liked it!

Victoria Peteri

I really had fun at this cafe, the food is amazing, as well as the restrooms were not smelly. It was a little chilly inside, so that was not totally cool. The host is good too. I will certainly consider returning once again if I get the opportunity. Me and also my good friend ordered the toast and also we were not let down. My one suggestion is to keep the chilly exterior. Come again!

Sarah Reed

Food was nice, service was fast.

Eric Fu

We celebrated my successful proposal at this restaurant. The menu is fixed and still comes with some nice surprises. The staff are super friendly and environment is very lovely. The new American style food does come with different touches geographically and culturely. We did enjoy SiChuan pepper corn's ending numb and also hand made chocolate creamy sweet. You can tell lots of thinking's have been put into the dishes including layout, taste and etc. We did have a great time over there. The three hours dinning experience is unforgettable!

Larissa Trost

Great dining experience as always. One of my favorite restaurants. Nice set up and great location. The atmosphere and service are exceptional. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my many dinners at this restaurant.

Vincent Bellucci

Spectacular night. Food was superb. Place is gorgeous. Service is outstanding. I love that the staff all knew it was my birthday and wished me happy when I encountered a new staff member.

anita kinney

The whole experience was a journey for my tastebuds. I've never tasted food like this before. There moments of excitement, bliss, and pure satisfaction. I still remember the dinner because the tastes that I've experienced was unforgettable.

Qinle Ba

Service was awsome but everything else did not match our expectation for Michelin three star place. The courses are not as innovative as what I had at a nother three starred place in San Francisco. In fact, one of the courses reminds us of McDonald's ... Thank goodness. Plus, the desert looks fancy, but was too sweet and not much new idea as one would expect from such a renowned restaurant. I would not go to this place again.

April Thomas

The staff makes you feel right at home! Amazing service.

Edwin Manilos

Amazing pasta and course menu offerings per say ;)

Vanda Rama

I was here for my birthday in 2018. To say it was flawless would be an understatement. Each course was perfect, the table was the best in the house. We stayed for hours and were left with memories to keep forever⭐️

Mathew Diaz

The place looks so beautiful and stylish. Exceptional food and service quality. Large selection of delicious dishes. I recommend this restaurant

Vanessa Fisher

Great place. Good variety of foods. Service was amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

edouard g

Perfect, meets expectations for a 3 star restaurant.

Michael Walter

Great dining experience as always. One of my favorite restaurants. Nice set up and great location. The atmosphere and service are exceptional. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my many dinners at this restaurant.

Samantha Rosado

Each dish was exquisite and delicious. Definitely an experience worth repeating. The wine selection was superb as well.

Josie Sacramento

The place looks so nice and classy. It justifies the price of their food which is delicious but needs a little bit more improvement in the way that they fix the texture and the flavor of the dish. The view of the place and atmosphere left me and my mom in awe. The staff were extra friendly and kept asking us what we need and if there is anything else that they can do for us. I would love to go back here for special occasions.

Matthew Murray

Incomparable food. Perfect service. It's expensive, but boy, do you ever get your money's worth. I can't think of a better splurge restaurant anywhere.

Anna Sedlacek

We've dined at many Michelin-starred restaurants, including Eleven Madison Park, which some people say is better than Per Se. Those people are crazy. Not because EMP isn't great: because Per Se is that much better. We have come here several times, each time thinking it will be our last for a while because of the price... and we keep finding excuses to come back sooner. Google needs to add a sixth star for this place (and Michelin needs to add a fourth). The prices sound exorbitant, but they are perfectly balanced for the experience, quality of food, and perfection of service that you receive. Almost every dish is overwhelmingly good---absolutely beyond description. Their worst courses would be the best courses at most other high-end restaurants in the world. I don't drink much alcohol, and when I asked if they could make me a mocktail, they gave me an entire mocktail PAIRING menu that perfectly matched each dish, and each concoction was something I would drink every day of my life if I could. The waitstaff are also impeccably trained. When I shivered, a waiter brought over a tea box filled with shawls for me to pick from. I saw someone receive a padded stool for their purse to rest on. Per Se is not only the best restaurant I've ever eaten at: it's one of my favorite purchasable experiences, every time. This truly is the dinner of the gods.

Tia Williams

If you have the chance, eat her! We love the food and service is amazing.

What a great night! Wonderful food and everyone was so nice courteous and pleasant. No one was pretentious. They also did not rush any meal and our dinner took over 4 wonderful hours discovering the 9 course menu. In reality it was a 18 course menu! While on paper it is 8 savory meals and one dessert, the dessert ended up being a 9 course menu on its own. There are 4 desserts per person. In addition, they offer donuts, macarons, caramels, truffles and marble chocolate balls (6 or 8 flavors). On top since it was my birthday, not only I had the menu printed with my name on it but it was also signed by the chef a special individual portion cake was offered and a gift(cookies and chocolate) was given to everyone at the end. All desserts were excellent, except for the Macarons, I don't think they were fresh and had picked a strange taste from something they were near it... As for the chocolate marbles had a strong taste of all the other ingredients overpowering the chocolate. But that is only my own preference. The savory plates were all excellent and I got my money worth of the Australian black truffles! I got more than a full truffle shaved on top of my plate(twice :-)).The wine list is excellent but I think the prices are a bit on the high end and they could be improved. The service was exceptional. They were very nice and explained each plate and answered any question we had and took into account every small request and were there present only when needed. In addition the distance between the tables was big enough to give everyone privacy and the noise level is low. It was an experience to all the senses worth the money.

When you are in NY and your taste buds crave for french cuisine, this is the address to head towards. My cousins say this place is the standard by which they judge all other french outlets in the city.

Lila Simzpson

Age discrimination. If you're 31 and older then you must stay away from this restaurant, because they will charge you $325.00, and discount those entitlement brats only 175.00 because they think that millennials 30 and younger are more important than you, a lot of millenials are actually making more money and in less debt than some older adults 31+. there's a lot of restaurants in NYC who treat older adults 31+ fairly. Advice to Thomas Keller: You need 31 and older nights for 175.00 for 31+ patrons on a below annual salary of $50000.00 and have them show proof of income sometimes as often as under 30 nights to justify the under 30 nights. I find this place ageist

Jennifer Cui

Per Se is definitely a good restaurant. The service was great for the most part, but the menu felt... dated. I had commented at one point to a busser that my sweetbreads dish was overly seasoned and he responded (a tad condescendingly) that the following dish is cheese and cheese is usually salty (what?). The highlight of the meal were the oysters & caviar and the duck. Everything else was good (not great). Is the meal worth the price? Sure. Does it deserve to be a 3 Michelin star restaurant? Questionable.

Soila Thoell

This was a very anticipated experience. Service a d atmosphere were exceptional. Food very good but expected more of a wow experience, with more intense sauces. Many dishes. Barely cooked and while delicious were missing pizzazz. I wonderful experience but I don't think we will repeat it.

Perfect. We always enjoy our Friday nights here

Mr NBA

Exquisite all around dining experience. The staff are very personable and nice. Wonderful entrees and the desserts are delectable! Great place to come for a special occasion.

Joe Chen

service really good, foods delicate but not much what you expected to get from a Michelin 3star

Wine Dine

Experiences are everything. I've been here twice and both times were well worth it. The food is phenomenal, nothing like it. The service, impeccable the location divine. Must go.

Connie L.

Hands down the best!

Brayden Mora

It was our second visit to Per Se. We remember a few dishes from last time (pearl oyster and the cappuccino mousse), but other were new. The dinner menu is tasting menu only, but there are a few variations and upgrades for selected dishes (beef steak, caviar, etc.) The food and experience is one in a kind. Knowledgeable and attentive staff presented and explained to us all the dishes and could help if needed with the wine selection (they had an amazing bottle of Barolo!). It is something special and if you need a place to celebrate such a occasion, this is it. Centrally located, right across the Central Park...

Harry Ellis

The wine the food just amazing come here at least once a month.

Jack Smith

weeks later, my wife and i are still talking about how disappointing our dinner was here. Service is exceptionally slow; waiting 30+ minutes plus for ordered drinks. There were also huge waits between courses; expect to wait 30-45 minutes between very small courses. We were getting really hungry and tired towards the end, given the entire experience was 3-4 hours long. The food was not that great; it is beyond belief to me that they have 3x Michelin stars and charge so much.

Nicolas Patt

It is a great dining experience! the cuisine is so delicious. it worth every penny you paid. I have tasted in many 3 star restaurants, this is one of the top 3 star restaurants. Will be back again!

Nadine Nadine

The view and service is the one of best restaurants in NYC. We booked window seats table, very nice view for Columbia Circle, only Asiata’s of Mandarin Oriental NY hotel is better than it; Food is not the best we expected.

Will P

Best dining experience I have had in many years.

Sara Campbell

One of our favorite places to stop when we are on vacation. Dont miss out! You wont be disappointed!

Pauline Alexandra

What a discovery to live this moment in your establishment everything was perfect

Dan Hoppe

food good great atmosphere

Rippy Roo

Disgusting "French" food. Everything tastes like its seasoned with the soot of this gross city.

veronica ware

This was the most beautiful and well thought out meal I've ever had. The food, ambience, and staff we're impeccable. I had such a lovely experience.

Caroline Marino

You pay for what you get. Sensational food. Aromatic flavors. Wonderful desserts. This place has it all. Ideal for special occassions such as anniversary dinners or milestone birthdays.

Nguyen Nana

Exceptional quality of food and service. Simply the best food experience I’ve had in my life. Though the prices are steep, it’s definitely worth it.

Cassius C

The meals and service were beyond my expectations. I absolutely liked the environment of this restaurant. Wonderful place to take the family out for dinner.

Lobster A

Really loved Alex M. My clients and i had a lot of fun.

Anonymous DoctorMD

Terrific food and surprisingly unsnobby service for a place that prides itself in being super elite. Getting a reservation was difficult to say the least. Schedule it way out in advance. I took off one start for the wine list. Overall great experience.

Jacqueline Chan

Dishes with beautiful presentation and good quality in both food and services!! Worth a visit!

Joseph P

The restaurant is on the 4th floor inside the mall. Service is impeccable, staff is extremely attentive and very well trained, atmosphere is comfortable, vibe and decor is pleasing, feeling is various degrees of cozy respective of your table, the food though... That's a whole 'nother story. Not that the food was bad 'per se' but it left a lot to be desired compared to other Michelin outfits. All plating was actually artsy and creative, however, some dishes were not perfectly cooked or seasoned and out of 9 courses only 1 or 2 had that wow factor the rest was boring between plain and meh. Am honestly not sure how or why this outfit has a 3* Michelin rating.

David Ortiz

The Temple of the East Coast ! Thomas Keller has mastered fine dining . The food is perfection! But more amazing is the team here !! The ultimate experience !!

Malcolm Darling

Simply the best. There is no restaurant better in North America. Food, service, guest services and overall hospitality cannot be matched.

Annie Lisa

I really liked this restaurant because it faced central park and had an amazing view. This is an amazing place for a date and the food is amazing too. I enjoyed the burgers.

Francis Mccarrell

Cozy, sleek place with delectable food and desserts, team was welcoming and understanding. I absolutely loved their chicken, crispy and juicy in the inside, definitely a must try!

Ed Nichanian

Nice little lounge with a nice little menu and beautiful people

Renaldo Ewan

The food they serve very delicious and tasty!

Karin Elgai

My husband and I are celebrating our first anniversary tonight. We were planning to travel but as I'm at month 8 of my pregnancy, we couldn't fly anywhere and decided to stay in NYC for our vacation. We had a reservation at Per Se for …

De Greenbrae

They get most things right... but not quite. Service is very ingratiating - charming but just a little over the top. The food is in fact wonderful (though I'm not a fan of French Laundry), but glassware is in need of more thought.

Andrew Bestafka

THE MASTER! One of my top 3 dining experiences; up there with Achetz, Roubouchon, La Bernardin, and Cosme! This experience is all about the food. No showiness, no brash decor, no glitz; just pure class. From the personal menu to the custom anniversary favor we were treated well and shown that our presence was appreciated and valued. Some of the best food I've ever eaten. Nothing too fancy, high tech, or snobbish but Chef Keller masterfully combines fresh and interesting ingredients to create one of a kind dishes that warrant all of his "world's best" accolades. Oh, and save lots of room for dessert because it's almost an entire second meal and you'll definitely want the butter ice cream with honey soaked madeleine. And, just when you think you're done, they come by again with a box of chocolate.

Kristin Lopez

French food, so great. The food was so savory. The service was very helpful and observant. This place has an awesome atmosphere.

David Beverly

World class experience Artis and Sam helped everyone create a magical evening. Thomas Keller, Chef, has a divine touch.

Brenda Hernández

My favorite restaurant in New York!!! I celebrated my birthday with my family and everything was spectacular. Great service! The menu was personalized and it had my name at the top. Thank you for the detail!

Pauly Longani

Ambience, service, and food - excellent!

Lyle Zepick

World class service and innovative menu. Huge wine list, knowledged sommelier!

Peter McDougall

Per Se lives in a world of its own. I find it quite unique. Restaurant nicely situated, great views of Columbus. Food amazing, wine list scary, all the usual adjectives apply. What's different is the atmosphere, its actually a fun place to be. Staff likeable and interested. Here's a pasta dish. You can't see pasta 'cos it's hidden behind the biggest mound of truffle I've ever seen. Then they came back and added more! A nice touch. Loved the place, it is serious food, top class dining but also a great place to party. Thanks

Mary Caroline Pickryl

Top notch experience. Very special treatment when celebrating a special occasion.

Keith Tully

Great service. Ok food. Not worth the money.

Tim Harlow

Single best culinary experience of my life. Amazing

Kritzie Roberts

What a phenomenal gastronomic experience and very welcoming staff. My fiance left feeling like royalty after his birthday dinner. The captain and sommelier were very attentive to all of our requests. Truly a unique NY experience.

Peter McViti

The service was excellent. The food was both delicious and visually stunning. A great place for an anniversary or other special occasion.

Edward Jacobs

Had a special meal at Per Se last night. Awesome food and even better service. The team led by Christopher, our waiter, provided a unique dining experience. There's been some talk lately about Per Se losing its NYT star, however they are currently on the top of their game. A perfect restaurant for a special occasion. Had an awesome wine pairing as well.

Bill Grannell

What an amazing night!! Everything was outstanding!!

Kris Harrup

My wife and I celebrated our 8th anniversary here on Sunday night. We elected the tasting menu in the Salon for our evening. We expected the fantastic food, courses were balanced and beautiful on the plate. The chef did a fantastic job the wagyu was perfect. We expected the service to be on point, The server and the support staff were in unison during this elegant dance they call table service. What surprised us was the hospitality. Alex, the server, and Hak, the Sommelier, were so generous and genuine with the service throughout the night it made us feel as if we were the only table in the restaurant. To say that this evening, celebrating our anniversary, was anything less than phenomenal would be an understatement. Thank you Per Se and Alex! Well done.

Terrell Bennett

I visit this great spot a lot! This is my favorite restaurant to dine. I go there routinely. The cooking is just great, the crew is courteous and the price is good. I enjoy meeting in this spot for a tasty supper.

It was an unforgettable experience. The chef's tasting menu was creative, visually stunning and above all delicious. The staff was impeccable. We were treated to a visit to the kitchen and the cellar which elevated the experience even more.

Robert Jr Ford

What a great night! Each dish was exquisite and delicious. Definitely an experience worth repeating. The wine selection was superb as well.

Random Person

Fantastic food. Waiter are kind and the food will never disappoint. However be prepared for quite expensive check at this restaurant. Prices keep rising... The view of central park is awesome. They are really cautious about allergies which I think is fantastic. The seafood is always fresh. I would recommend the caviar.

Jonathan Tibett

An amazing experience

Fluffy Dog Gaming

We did the 9 course chef’s tasting menu, although we swapped some of the courses. We started with an amazing amuse bouche which was a salmon tartar in a crispy cone. Next I had good but not great beet dish. Then I had the sweet carrot salad which wasn’t actually sweet but was it was really good. Then we had a John Dory dish which was very moist and really tasty. Next up was the bread butter which was fine. Then the chestnut agnolotti which was good. The tagliatelle with truffles was next and that was also really good. Tons of truffles. Then I had a beef dish which was very flavorful and a little marble-y. We were so full that we skipped the cheese course and went right to dessert. My favorite was the coffee cappuccino which actually had very little coffee flavor and was outstanding. At the end, they invited us to see the kitchen and meet the chef and gave us yummy cookies to go (they were supposed to last a few days but in the end they only lasted a few minutes )(we ate them immediately!)

Happy to see them open on New Years Day. Stopped in for lunch. The pulled pork sandwich on ciabatta was delicious! Hubby had the Cuban sandwich and really liked it (which says a lot being he's Cuban haha). They have an amazing array of desserts to choose from. I couldn't resist the flourless chocolate cake with ganache & Blackberry sauce. Oh my....perfection. So glad I chose to indulge. Worth it!

I have been to many restaurants but Per Se stands out as the best. Amazing food with great presentation. Service is incredible. Fabulous wine list

Frederick Ong

A truly exceptional dining experience! I’ve been to 3-star Michelin restaurants before, and I can gladly say that Per Se is most worthy of this achievement. Service is excellent. Food (as you can see) is beautifully plated, and has flavours that boggle the mind and inspires. It’s not a cheap dining experience. But if you ever find yourself there, once you experience the food, you’ll quickly forget the cost!

Daniel Razumov

expensive but really exclusive experience, I recommend regardless high price

C. Skye Greene

Wow. My dinner was $500 and worth every penny

Anne Fernandena

Service is beyond compare. The menu was lovely and delicious. I appreciate they do not try to fill you up with bread throughout the meal. Everything tasted exquisite. They had about three upsells (supplements) on the menu if someone chose to go that route. I kind of feel that when you're paying $355 per person, the supplemental items should have been included in the price. You're already paying extra for drinks. It's ridiculous to try to squeeze in more.

CHEF SADO

Miss here food and chefs... love per se.. always on my mind

Monica Lee

I really liked this restaurant because it faced central park and had an amazing view. This is an amazing place for a date and the food is amazing too. I enjoyed the burgers.

I visit this great spot a lot! This is my favorite restaurant to dine. I go there routinely. The cooking is just great, the crew is courteous and the price is good. I enjoy meeting in this spot for a tasty supper.

I celebrated my parents' anniversary here. The service was absolutely amazing and the food was divine to say the least. The restaurant had printed menus with our names on it, first time I've ever seen a restaurant do that. We had a blast here, would definitely recommend going here to experience what real fine dining feels like.

Thanks

Kel

Best meal of my life. Definitely worth it.

My second visit at Per Se. They still maintain high standard of food and services. The dishes are delicate and classic. Would expect to see more creativities and surprises for next season’s menu. My top 3 are gnocchi a la Parisienne, lamb, and the set of dessert. The give-away box of chocolates are also good. Note - The tasting menu is all inclusive with service charge.

Gerard Mcvae

Good service and food. Ambiance is great as well. Highly recommended!

Fantastic. Unique medley of flavors and beyond exquisite presentation. The service was some of the best I have ever experienced. The staff went above and beyond to make my birthday AMAZING.

Andrew Dawson

Perfect place to have business meeting or romantic dinner. Recommend to visit.

Simona Monaghan

It was an unforgettable experience. The chef's tasting menu was creative, visually stunning and above all delicious. The staff was impeccable. We were treated to a visit to the kitchen and the cellar which elevated the experience even more.

We had dinner in the Salon, which was perfect since it only had 5 courses. It started with a lovely hamachi amuse bouche, followed by poached oysters with caviar, beet salad, and harama crudo. My only issue with the meal was the lamb dish, as it was about 3 small bites and a bit fatty for my liking. My friend does not eat meat so he was served a wonderful piece of chicken breast. The meal was finished with a fantastic eclair with summer fruit and they brought a layered funfetti cupcake with passion fruit icing and 2 candles for our birthdays - a great touch! The service was wonderful, the wine offerings were very good and reasonable. To top things off, we were given a signed menu wishing us a Happy Birthday from the chef. We can’t wait to return!

Manoj Patel

Great experience. And of course at a price

Vlad Chogoleff

I did enjoy the whole 9 course with great atmosphere and friendly stuff with superb wine guy, but unfortunately I came out hungry. This is first time I left the 4 hours meal - hungry. I did enjoy every single part of everything and the wine pairing was phenomenal with ultra professionalism of the working staff, but I got out hungry. Had to eat after. The bill was about $1800 for three.

Karla L

A tasting menu I constantly reminisce about. Spectacular pairings and perfect service.

Zeus Fonsi

It was an unforgettable experience. The chef's tasting menu was creative, visually stunning and above all delicious. The staff was impeccable. We were treated to a visit to the kitchen and the cellar which elevated the experience even more.

Carmen Torres

The absolute standard in fine dining and french cuisine. It is an intimate experience and well worth the price. You must try the oysters and pearls. I will visit every time I’m in town.

Vivian Tian

Great service, tasty food, notable wine list. Probably a little overrated, but still a solid choice for special occasions and fairly easy to get a reservation.

Aaron Pierce

Astonishing. Too much to compliment. Best meal to date, and I've eaten at every one of the 3-Michelin Star restaurants in NYC.

Cchaddie Obee

This is by far the one of the best places for desserts, they are mouthwatering! Food plating is superb and service is top notch!

Robert Jr Ford

What a great night! Each dish was exquisite and delicious. Definitely an experience worth repeating. The wine selection was superb as well.
