MUST VISIT ON GAME DAYS. Seriously, come here in game days, everyone from 70 year alumni, fake ID carrying 19 year olds, and opposing team fans swarms OB for a pregame tailgate. During the day and evening this place is a rowdy sports bar with tons of TVs, great happy hour specials, and food specials. At night OB has actitivites like trivia and on weekends clears the tables at to open up a dance floor and becomes as good as any of the other lit bars on campus.

Nothing really special about this place other than the happy hour from 4-8. Its gets really packed, so good luck trying to find a place to sit or stand. They DO have 50 cents pizza slices during these times though. Is the pizza good? Let me put it this way, you get what you pay for; but, by the time you get the food you order your probably plastered, so it might taste amazing.

Horrible experience. I got pushed multiple times by the bartender for standing in the wrong area. He was very aggressive and didn't even apologize. I called the manager about it and he didn't care. Pathetic bar that has a negative attitude towards customers.

They have awesome happy hour deals. The fifty cent pizza slices take a while to come out, so order a bunch of them at a time if you're eating. The trivia nights on Tuesdays are also awesome and you don't have to necessarily buy anything to participate

I've been coming to the Olive Branch for 10 years now, and this place never seems to change. Cheap beer, great seating, and a great bar if you want to stand all combine to make this a good spot to stop for a beer before a football game. They do hassle you for an ID, so don't even try to come if you don't have one.

Decent bar. Beer prices/specials are pretty good. If you're not a college student avoid later on Friday/Saturday unless that's your vibe, but the rest of the week pretty decent for watching sports, hanging around.

Whether its Rutgers game day, a quiet visit during the holidays or a sweet happy hour deal, the experience is consistent - Great service, value, atmosphere and a place to kick back and enjoy time with friends

For what it's worth, if you are a 21 year old college student, this is a really awesome place. Coors Light beers are $2, Jaeger shots are $2, and pizza slices are $.50. Actually a pretty decent slice of pizza for that cost. I had two slices myself. Not quite sure if they make much money off that but someone they've been offering this special for years even when I was a student like 10 years ago. After many years, I came back here with some co-workers and we hung out a little after 5pm until a little before 8pm. Somewhere in the middle of our visit, they turned on the music and it was SUPER loud considering how early it felt but then again given the college vibe environment it seemed okay to everyone else, haha. But, I wouldn't recommend it if you were intending to talk much to one another. Or if you aren't interested in hanging around the young college crowd. Honestly, it was still a great time and I enjoyed myself. My husband and I ordered two beers (not the $2 specials) and five slices of pizza for about $13 which was super cheap. I hear their bar food is pretty okay but I didn't get a chance to try it.
