You need new bartenders with personality! It was our 3rd visit this year on Saturday, 11/10/18 at 830pm. We sat at the bigger bar in the dinning room and the bar was not busy, as there were several seats opened. Our particular guy was chatting away at the register and did not know we were waiting. We gave him our drink order and he said nothing. When he put down the drinks he said nothing. We asked for menus and he said nothing, just handed us menus. The apps came out we had not plates, napkins or utensils for the longest time. The bartender is at the register laughing and haning out. At our request, the gal bartender gave us our utensils and plates and said nothing too. No one smiled, said hello, no problem, how is everyting, etc...Terrible personalities and service. It reflected in his tip for sure. Will not be coming back.

We needed a place to eat with our pups after a day of Hilton Freehold. Moore’s Tavern was happy to accommodate us whereas the restaurants on Main St would not. Thank you Moore’s Tavern for really good food and drink at your outside tables

I will never go there again! We went to celebrate my birthday. 11 people! I found hair in food. the waitress escaped the future "manager" took her hair and stated that nobody in the kitchen had such "blond" hair. then they brought us food, I did not eat anything anymore, I was sick. We paid $ 250. no one said a single word sorry !! it has never been disgusting. they treated us badly. I met with such rudeness for the first time. never again blehhh

My friends and I stopped here for dinner and it was decorated for Christmas, which we so enjoyed. The food was very good, the portions very generous, and a nice menu with many choices. I would definitely recommend Moore's as a place to stop and eat.

I like the atmosphere of this place. It's comfortable and cozy. The people are all nice and everyone is helpful. The food is good, but not great. I usually go with a group of friends that have all different kinds of tastes There is definitely something there for everyone. I'd actually give this place 4 1/2 stars, I only hold a half Star because although I love that there is a lot of different food to choose from, I consider it to be good, but nothing special. But with so many dishes on the menu, they do a good job. I'll definitely go again and recommend it to friends and family. The service was great, the atmosphere is great, it is clean and there is plenty of parking, the inside and outside are very appealing and there's something for everyone.. Meat eaters, vegetarians, pasta, burgers, salads, soup, sandwiches, comfort food, appetizers, pizza and a bar, they have whatever you want.

Went on a Saturday night around 6pm, dining room was not busy at all. Sat down and greeted right away. Placed a drink order which came quick. My wife and I ordered entrees which supposedly come with a house salad. After some time passed out came the food which could have used some seasoning. Never got our salads before hand. My wife asked the next time the waiter came to table and the reply was if we wanted them to go. Hmmm , no I would have liked it before we got the main meal. How do you forget the salads?

My soda had 3 different bugs in it, I could tell the lines there are very dirty and after the soda debacle I was too turned off to eat the buffalo dip I ordered that came out with French onion cheese still crusted to the side of the crock from the last person..... definitely won't be back...dirty establishment.

Not a big fan of Moore's. It is certainly not the dumpy bar of years ago. Generally the food is good though. There is a front bar and a back bar. TVs all over so you can watch anything. Service I find to be consistently slow. Not sure why. People don't seem to mind. It is Always packed.

Terrible ... They don't make reservations. We waited an hour and they asked if half of us wanted to sit at one table and others continue to wait. We said no we wanted to sit together ....waited another hour and they tried to sit us at the table for half with extra chairs and no room ... Waste of time . Manager doesn't even try to make it right just blames another table for eating dessert.

The restaurant was large, airy and well designed. The place is family friendly, but yet young and old crowds occupied the bar. I was impressed with the layout, service and the food. We were a large group, but yet the service was impeccable. Drinks, dinner and dessert were served without issue or delay. Definitely worth the trip! I'll be coming back. Have passed this place so many times growing up. This is the first time I stopped in. Nice place. Our waitress was very nice and was very helpful. Ordered the Jersey burger. For those that don't know that's a burger with pork roll. The waitress added I may want to try the egg on top. She said it was very good. I decided to try it. The burger was so good. Especially with the egg. Will definitely be going back for round two.

Fun pub atmosphere with a great menu. Went on a Tuesday night which was two for one burgers, a great deal. Burgers were big and lots of interesting choices. Also had the egg pizza as an appetizer which was delicious. The service was quick and accurate. Will definitely be back.

Don’t know what ya got till it’s gone... Moved far away from the area and was just browsing their online menu. Locals, please don’t take this place for granted. My favorite was the buffalo chicken wrap. Best I’ve ever had. I’ll never forget it. Maybe one day I can return for it. Go and enjoy so many great options!

I went there the. Ight they had a kitchen fire. My wife and I had just started to eat, and then we had to all leave because the smoke and smell were overwhelming. The nice part is, we ate the appetizers, a good portion of our dinners, and had to leave. They apologized, and we went. Free of charges. I did try to give the manager a $5 bill to give to our waitress who was very nice. He wouldn't take it. Told us not to worry about it and he would take care of it.

Love the man who checks IDs! The bar tenders can be moody at times and will walk past you without asking if you need anything on some occasions but one of them is awesome and very kind, checking up as much as possible when its busy. Normally I go there on Fridays when the band is there. Its enjoyable and pleasant normally.

A historical place with room enough for eating, drinking, and live music. Today, The Nerds were there. Since 1985, according to logo on the drum set, they have been a fun band to catch. Moores Tavern is the perfect venue for them. This places makes going out the old fashioned fun it should always be!

Would of given it a 5 star rating, but we had to go to the sports bar side so we could see our bartender Kelly because for some reason after many many years of going here we always sat on the tavern side where Kelly has taken good care of us. Then when Gina came on and worked with her it was like a well oiled machine, now the 2 are separated and it makes us not want to go. It's sad that when you are used to going every Friday and sometimes Saturdays things change its not fair to the paying customer. The only reason we go is because of these 2 ladies, don't get us wrong all your bartenders are great but we go to chat and catch up with them.

So... I'm hoping it was just a fluke, because I've been wanting to try this place for years. Finally went, and was let down. The place was cold... people were going to their cars to get sweatshirts, and I sat on my hands. Unbeknownst to us, there was a band playing that night and we apparently got there about a half hour before the band started... so where do we get seated? The booth right next to where they were playing. Needless to say, we started eating quickly once they started playing. The food was ok/average, and the service was as well. I will be going back just to confirm, since I was expecting better.

Always a nice and cozy place to stop and eat. I go there with the girl or friends every once in a while and although I will admit I didn't always like this placed I've realized that it has gotten much better and is now a great place to go again. I'd personally recommend the Elvis burger. A big cheeseburger with bacon, fried pickles, and peanut butter. Their pizza is good as well.

Food was okay. Our waiter was absolutely terrible. Looked straight at our empty soda glasses a dozen times and STILL had to be flagged down and asked to refill them for us, never asked how our food was and was slow as could be. The other tables didn't seem to have bad service though. Would go back but definitely ask for a different waiter/waitress.

Ribs were great, burgers were under cooked. My son asked for medium and got rare, my wife asked for medium well and got medium rare. Lobster Bisque was average, salted caramel cheesecake was great. Staff is great, you wont sit for an hour waiting for a refill. Prices were in line with the area. Atmosphere was good. Definitely worth a shot.
