The worst pizza known to man. If you like undercooked, bland crust, sloppily constructed with lousy sauce and skimpy ingredients, then this is the place for you. Get the picture? How do you say 'awful' in Italian? Far better pizza in the neighborhood in every direction.

My business has many events throughout the year and MonAlyssa hosts about 5 of them per year in their banquet room. All i can tell you is my clients rave about the food and atmosphere every time we use MonAlyssa! It is a home run! Brian and his staff always go the extra mile to make sure everyone is comfortable. The portions are generous and the food is fantastic. I highly recommend them for small or large gatherings. Oh, they also cater 2-3 events per year for me as well outside of the restaurant and the food is just as delicious as it is when you dine in. Awesome place. Thanks Brian for all you do for us!

The service was very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was nice too. The lemon flavor on the artichoke franchise was over powering. They need to pull back on that. Will go back again to try another dish. If not good, I'll probably never go again.

So disappointed. The service took a long time just to come get our drink orders. We ordered then about an hour later the waitress comes up and tells us that they ran out of a pasta that 2 people at the table ordered so one of them would not be able to get it. Like it took you an hour to figure that out? My family and I will not be going back.

I had the distinct pleasure of experiencing one of the best pasta fagioli soups that I have had in a long time. Dynamite!!!!! It was fresh, hot and perfectly seasoned. Boy, did I enjoy it. You have got to try it! I also was able to taste a piece of their fig pie. And that was an experience all of its own. Perfect! Perfect! Perfect! I do not live down the shore and I travel 67 miles one way and I am looking forward to making that trip again and soon just to go back to this outstanding restaurant.

I can never have my time back. Nothing like paying $25-35 an entree and having to wait forty five minutes for it arrive. Also the ambience of a dimly lit room in need of a renovation and a table of four - belligerent and cursing. The staff was really trying but I am here to eat, not stare at my phone all night waiting, and waiting, and waiting.

waited for table when there were plenty of empty table. sat us down waited for some to come over to say hi finally took our order waited 1/2 to bring salad then over a hour to get food. food was burned said something to waitress did even say sorry. got soft shell crab was awful crab turn hard and had shell all over.

DELICIOUS!!!! Best italian food in the surrounding area hands down. Our test is always trying the fried calamari, cause if you can make that right, you probably can make everything else good too, right? Our calzone was huge and loaded with cheese! I can't wait to go back and try more dishes! Everyone was quick and super nice too!

Wow, we sat in the new outdoor room so colorfully appointed which set the mood for what was to come. An array of appetizers that are still on my mind..like zucchini flowers in a light lemon sauce & garlic shrimp to name just two. And our family style entrees, grilled chicken over escarole and beans, flounder franchise, eggplant rolatini parmigiana & pasta primavera with farm fresh vegetables. You must not miss this restaurant.

1st time visit, didn’t eat, waited a while to order and told a plate-share-charge will be imposed for what would’ve amounted to a $50-$60 total. I’m personally watching my weight and my adorable dinner date, (my daughter), is a pip-squeak!!! Drove by for years and this was their big chance... not impressed. Didn’t even get to try the food.

Ate in a few times and all was very good service and delicious food. I agree that some of the more simpler items such as the appetizers are pricey but the meal portions are huge and worth the money. I usually get the franchise (chicken or veal) with angel hair and it is DIVINE. Also...They could work on their tiramisu since that is a staple Italian dessert. Their tiramisu is more like cake with cream cheese on top and no dark rum at all. Which to me, is the entire point of the dish. Nonetheless, it was still very tasty. Will definitely be returning!

Bread and eggplant parm dinner was good. Inexpensive. Lettuce was frozen in salad. Just Bibb? lettuce and a tomato-nothing special. Decor very dated. Doesn’t appear to be overly clean. Not sure I’d go back.

Website is very misleading with menu options. Restaurant only has basic, very minimal gluten free options. website states "all items can be made GF" but nothing can be made gluten free besides their pasta which was horrible.Other than that appetizers and entrees were just okay nothing spectacular. Their vodka sauce is disgusting and super watered down. Meanwhile all of this took over 4 hours to be served and completed which is outrageous. Service is horrible and very unprofessional. Our waitress was completely out of line and disrespectful to our entire party. Will not be coming back.
