Love this place the crowd is a mix or older and younger people. the staff is friendly food is ok. The live bands are just great. If you are looking to let your hair down and play music to just relax then this is a nice place to go. You can play the lottery, do package goods to go. But come for the cabin like environment and the food. Not a bad place to sit and kill some hours. I actually enjoy coming here the bartenders are great. Look for the live bands on the weekends.

Moby Dick's was a great place. I'd never been there before, and was very impressed at how nice it was. The people there are great, very friendly. The staff was very nice also. The decor is great. The band was also very good and had the crowd jumping, it was The Kickback band. They also have a very good menu. I'll definitely go there again. Plenty of street parking...

This place is literally situated in the middle of nowhere as far as I'm concerned but glad we found it sometimes they have some really good dance playing there. Drinks are priced somwhat reasonable thoufh it seemed like I was getting charged different prices for drinks depending on who the server was. One seemed to be charging more than the other two. Primary age of those there seemed like age 45+ though some younger also go there. A great find especially if you go on a night that the band appeals to you. Saw a band called Mercury Rising there and was blown away at how talented they all were. Will go there again.

Extremely disappointed! Ordered potato skins for appetizer, and burgers for girlfriend and myself. EVERYTHING was undercooked, even the french fries . Service not exactly up to par either. The one waitress kept wanting to take the one plate away, even though we weren't finished. ALSO, do be aware this establishment charges a surcharge for using a credit/debit card. This is the first time I have encountered this in all my years dining out. This establishment does extremely well from the looks of it, and you are going to impose a surcharge on customers who use a debit or credit card???? THEY WILL NEVER EVER SEE ME AGAIN!!!

I never miss an opportunity to go to this restaurant. everytime I feel like having a decent meal, this is the place that comes instantly to my head. outstanding and many types of food and a large menu.courteous staff members, and nice ambience. Musicians Beware!!!!! They rip off Musicians. I agreed on 3 hours for $150 and at the end they said because there wasn't alot of people they had to give me $50 i talked him up to $60. I think the guy in charge of music there just pockets the money. Total waste of my time and gas to go there. I called about the issue, but I never was called back.

Very good bar. Service is excellent. Nice people. Some of the reviews here say the food is excellent but sorry to say it is only medicore bar food that is from the restaurant Depot... C'mon guys. You should see the volume of food that gets thrown away. It is quantity over quality. The steaks quality is poor, grisly and unseasoned. The clams can be a hit or miss. Their french fries are unremarkable. The kitchen staff clearly lacks skills or creativity. Oh, hot dogs belong on a bun, not two large dogs on a cold roll...and cold cheese should not be slapped on a burger before serving...yeah, cold cheese. Another order was a burger with blue cheese. I received blue cheese salad dressing on the burger. Haha! Taco shells should be heated first before being filled, it how you get a crunch. Dang. But, Moby's is a nice place to go when you want to get out of the house. The prices are fair, the beer is cold and the taps are kept clean. The owners put money back into the bar with new stools and a recent bar top replacement. The bathrooms are clean. Kudos.

Caught the FB live feed of the band tonight. They were awful. Do people really go to this bar to see entertainment? Most of the bands I've seen are garage bands at best. Maybe I'm spoiled because of the NJ shore bands I get to see down here in LBI. I'm guessing the food must be really good so I may have to take a trip up to try that ...

The review which stated that the food is "a bit bland and pricey" is frankly bull****. It is anything but "bland and pricey". Anyone that has actually been there would know the food is excellent, portions ample, and priced more inexpensively than most similar bar and grills. I've eaten there many times sampling several different things from their menu and it has always been delicious and inexpensive, otherwise I wouldn't continue to eat there! IN fact I'll be having dinner with friends there tonight!

Only good for locals, woodbridge police stalk the two roads in and out of the area and often have road blocks in this area for dwi checkpoints. Enough reason not to go to the bar and have even one beer IMO. The place itself, not too clean, parking lot and street really tight to pull in/out of. i had 2 beers first one they gave me a miller lite draft gave a $5 no change and took about 25 min to get served it, next one I got my change on from the other bartender but flat as hell served something else entirely than what i asked for. Only went because of a friend invite, wont be back unless i go by boat down the street at the docks if a friend drags or drives.
