I've never had a bad dish from mirim before. The inside is a little beaten from years of popular use, but definite a comfortable atmosphere for a great meal alone, or with friends. Sometimes the food can take a while to come out, eat in or dine out. Always worth the wait. Can be a bit expensive when ordering for a larger party!

Price is not cheap here but I have to say the quality is and the price actually match. The Korean cuisine can improve a little but it's good. Sushi is definitely top notch here, it tasted authentic and probably the chef is Japanese. I would definitely dine here again and recommend this to anyone.

Some of the worst Korean food I've ever had. As a beginner, I can honestly cook the dishes I ordered (pajun and jjambong) better than them. Leagues better. The pajun (Korean fried pancake) was way too greasy; the noodles of the jjampong were overcooked and soggy. The shells of the clams had fallen apart and I bit into them unknowingly at least five times. That is not just bad food. That is a safety hazard. A liability. If I had to venture to guess, they threw in brittle (old) frozen clams without letting them tha, in scaldingly hot water, causing them to break. The variety of the other seafood was abysmal. A few measly shrimp. Might as well have been krill. Service was a joke, and it wasn't just on the servers themselves. In fact, I blame management/the owners. There were two young servers who were falling woefully behind, having to bus countless dirty tables, while my girlfriend and I waited for twenty minutes for our check. There was also an older looking server, but he didn't seem to contribute much at all, especially owing to the fact that the dirty dishes on finished tables was growing. In fact, I am not even sure he did anything for the hour or so I was there with my girlfriend. The place is an embarrassment to Korean cooking and dining and I will never return. The owners of this establishment should be ashamed of themselves for such appallingly low standards.

It was our first time here and we only had some sushi and dumplings and green tea but we enjoyed it very much. It took a long time before someone came to take our order for some reason. Perhaps because there was a member of our party still on the way. But we will definitely be back to try more menu items. Love Japanese food!!

My wife and I discovered this wonderful Korean restaurant hiding in a small strip mall just a few weeks ago. We were in the area and had a hankering for sushi. Their sushi is, indeed, very good, and we will order it again, but what really has us excited is their Korean menu. We've been there three times now, the food has always been good, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is pleasant. They're BYOB, so keep that in mind if you want a beer!

Love this place. Too bad I don't live nearby. We came to Sesame Place for two days, had dinner here and loved it so much, we came back on day two. The people are wonderfully friendly and nice. The Japanese food is good, but the Korean food is outstanding. The home made kimchee and other little dishes they give to start are dellightful. All the main dishes are tasty and right-size portions. My wife might make me drive 2.5 hours to come back.

I am giving this four stars because their service left a bit to be desired [though, very typical for Asian/Korean as it's a cultural thing], but the food was excellent. Some dishes were definitely done differently than the traditional Korean way. I ordered Japchae and Kalbi. The kalbi had a different flavor of BBQ sauce than I am used to, however it was still delicious. And the japchae was not as flavorful as I would have done it myself, but I still felt it was very good. The shrimp shumai and tempura udon soup were also done well. If you like them on Facebook, you get free gyoza. Their gyoza was also yummy, but I have a feeling they are frozen bought and not made fresh as they are so similar to a frozen variety I get at our local Hmart. We went there directly after a day at Sesame Place this past Sunday, as I had Googled local restaurants and I was so surprised and happy to see a Korean spot. Korea representing! ; ) When we arrived, they told us we had to wait and they sat a group before us apparently by accident as there seemed to be two main hosts/servers who do not communicate with each other. They were apologetic and seated us at the next available table. My child was tired and hungry, so I was not the happiest of Moms at that point. They forgot lettuce and sauce for my kalbi, though this was corrected upon bringing it to their attention, and were not very attentive throughout the course of our meal [even for Asian standards]. I am hopeful this is not the usual for them and that they were just overwhelmed with how particularly(?) busy it was that Sunday evening. However, the food was very good and I would go back just for that and for the proximity to a place we frequent often.

My wife and I have lived in lower Bucks for years and were interested in trying a Japanese restaurant that was not our typical destination. We stumbled upon this fusion of Japanese with Korean that served quite simply the best flavors of its style that I've ever tasted...seriously. I like a moderate level of heat, and the dynamite roll did not disappoint. I was impressed that there was a perfect combination of cool raw and cooked ingredients. I also ordered a Korean dish so they brought out a somewhat typical assortment of side dishes such as oi muchim (spicy cucumber salad), mu saengchae (spicy radish salad), and a few others. The main Korean dish I ordered was Jae Yuk Bokum which is spicy pork with mixed veggies. The prices are reasonable, the portion sizes are very generous (I even enjoyed it as cold leftovers the next day!), the staff is very friendly, and the service is great. You'll absolutely love it.

Went for the first time and it was great. I found my go-to for Korean food. The food was amazing, and the portions were surprisingly huge. I couldn't finish it in one sitting and I'm glad because now I can enjoy it for a second meal. I highly recommend the Bulgogi and BiBimBap! They even brought out kimchi and other foods on little dishes to have with your main course. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the waiters were very nice. The prices are great for the quality and quantity of food you get. I highly recommend this place!

We loved every dish. Ordered dragon roll with crispy fried crab topped with avocado and spicy tuna roll. For our entrees we chose bibimbap and pork katzu. Both were outstanding with generous portions and lovely presentation. The side dishes were fresh and tasty including an amazing steamed egg dish, kimchi, eggplant, seaweed salad, cold noodles, bean sprouts and other savory pickles. The service was fast, and the waitress and waiter polite and pleasant. We will be back often. What a delightful experience.

this review written by a korean. good korean food for the area, probably the only choice actually. the place is able to accommodate any number of people, total looks around 50? the service is good. the menu has all the classic korean dishes. the taste was a little bland but that's probably so its not too spicy. the side dishes were all pretty good. most places will give you a little special dish like a steam egg or fried fish for large parties but not here. the sushi was pretty good. standard, nothing of out this world but good for the price and fresh. the prices are standard and they have a lunch special menu at good prices. the location is in a little strip mall with a decent parking lot. careful of the left side (when facing the road from the strip mall) people like to floor it down that side, a short cut to some place if looks like. it's bring your own beer, nice. thought I saw karaoke, but not sure what nights. We'd come here again if we were to visit the area again. friendly, good food, good prices, good service. would be perfect if it had a bit stronger flavors.

Best Korean and Japanese food around. Great service. Nice atmosphere. Their Yook Gae Jang and Dol Sot Bulgogi is the best. If you're not sure about Korean food and you like marinated beef, go with the Dol Sot Bulgogi. It's beef that has a slightly sweet bbq flavor to it and is served in a hot stone bowl. Perfect w/ rice. If you like spicy then Yook Gae Jang won't disappoint. It's a spicy soup w/ beef and vegetables. Jae Yuk is another dish that I've been hooked on recently as well. Spicy pork sliced thin mixed with veggies. Good stuff.

So this is the best Korean BBQ I have found in the area; only it's not on the menu. Ask for the bulgogi and other meats and make sure to ask for condiments or you won't get all the fixins! Also, all the grill tables are "broken". Other menu items are good too, but I was really craving KBBQ.

Going into a Korean/sushi bar can be intimidating to say the least, if you have never had Korean before. With that in mind, I have found the food to be anything like traditional american food. The food is prepared tradtionally Korean, with both the (Oh's influences) from were they grew up in Korea. The restaurant is family run, and every table is handled on a a first come, (some times there are reservations for celebrations) first serve basis. Again, since each table is prepared individually, I am willing to wait for my meal knowing my tables meal will cone out hot/ cold depending on what you ordered. With many locals Koreans' coming in to each after church or celebrations that it doesnt take a genius to see what you get is truly Korean, and high in quality. Remember, thus is a 'mom and pop' family run restaurant, to eat in, your patience may be tested , but when the food comes out, you will be grateful you waited. DWR

I was considering giving this one star, however, the food wasn't too bad. My biggest complaint was the service. We arrived when it wasn't busy yet waited for quite some time to even be asked about drinks. We ordered BBQ and they brought out a little grill for us. The grill hardly worked and took forever to cook anything. We ended up asking for the food to be cooked in the kitchen instead. Our stew arrived after about a half hour and there were ingredients missing from it. We mentioned it to the server and she said she would bring it out. Never saw it. Again, the food was decent, although the kalbi was very sweet. I would not recommend this place to friends. If you want Korean food, it is okay, but far better places with far better service available.

Very much enjoyed the Bulgogi during the lunch special hours. It came with many sides just like traditional korean bbq is meant to. Also my waitress was absolutely a delight. Handled several tables by herself and always made sure my water was filled. A++ I'm excited to go back and try some of the Japanese menu items.

The food here was very good, the vegetables tasted fresh, and nothing was overwhelmingly spicy or salty or anything. We got the Sunday Morning Roll, the Mirim Roll, the Green Dragon Roll, and the Yook Gae Jang. The sushi was great, the dragon roll was very light and fresh. The other two were fried, but still delicious. Im not a fan of spicy food, but the sister does, and really likes Korean cuisine, and she loved the Yook Gae Jang. The soup had a lot of onions, so if youre not a fan, maybe pass. The place itself was not the fanciest. Some of the seats had duct tape on them, and one table leg was held up by a stack of napkins. The atmosphere was very comfortable and friendly. The music was VERY diverse. In the time that we were there, we heard some old soul songs, some modern kPop, some old school kPop, and some classical. The staff was friendly and accomodating; checked on us enough that we felt taken care of, but not so much that we were annoyed. Great place to bring 50 friends but not your first date.

Absolutely one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. I ordered a noodle dish as takeout. I kid you not, they gave me noodles with no sauce on them with no vegetables or meat. The noodles were uncooked in any way other than having been boiled, and bizarrely (I am not making this up) placed in a plastic grocery bag. Completely disgusting. I'll never go back there again. If I could give less than one star I would.

The single greatest find for high quality sushi at an affordable price. Korean fare is top notch and a regular stop for local Koreans. If you have 2 or more people, you can get Korean BBQ on one of their grilling tables. Karaoke is rare, but fun. BYOB. Excellent service.

Don't judge a book by it's cover. This place is tucked away in an old strip. From the outside, I was wary about eating sushi here, but once I got inside my fears we're quelled.
