I adore this little restaurant ❤️ I've been coming here since 08' when I was a freshman in high school. I'm in love with the fajitas and spicy soup! I live right around the corner and order/dine-in on the regular. This is one of the few places where you can spend $25 bucks with two people, OVER eat and still take food home on top of feeling like full.

The food and service were solid, however some quick math suggests a heavy hand on the bill. 3 meat tacos (of the same kind) are between $8 and $9. 3 mixed tacos are $9.75. 3 shrimp tacos are $15. I ordered 3 mixed tacos (one shrimp taco + two different meat tacos) and was informed that it would be a "bit more" because the shrimp tacos are more expensive. I confirmed that this was completely fine. However the bill for the three tacos came in at $14.75, making that single shrimp taco 14.75 - (9.75 * 2/3) = $8.25, an overcharge of 65%. Not cool.

Very close to authentic Mexican food. Family run businesses always deliver on point. If you like authentic Mexican food try this restuarant for sure in Newark. The only problem being family run business is that the service is not that great hence one star taken out. But for me service is not a big thing when going to a family run business. Be mindful of their small space so dont go there in big group.

It seems like a family run place. A small restaurant that serves delicious yummy tacos. I’ve tried their chicken and shrimp tacos and have loved them every single time. The only complaint I have is their guacamole lacking flavor. It is more of a pickup place than a dine-in. There are very few restaurants in Kearny/Harrison area that serve good food and this is one of them.

Visiting from Orlando and this by far is the best Mexican Restaurant my family ate at. Small and cozy spot, but worth the try. To top off the night, their Tres Leches dessert was AMAZING! An awesome dinner to end the new year with!

We waiting very long for our food and no one came to check up on us. The steak in the steak tacos was very dry and unfavorable. The chicken enchiladas with red sauce was inedible. The red sauce tasted very graining as if the spices were cooked into the sauce enough.

I’ve been going to this place for a while now, and last time I went about a month ago I noticed they gave us used chips...( the chips and salsa they give you) because we saw some chips with dry sauce on it, honestly I got disgusted. And second, one of the girls that works there, tall a little dark skin girl she’s not friendly. I wasn’t even done with my taco and she just took my plate same thing she did with my coffee I wasn’t even done. I didn’t like her that was the second time her being rude with us. The rest of the girls are super friendly!

It is unpleasant to go pick up food to this place and have you repeat it several times and when you go to eat it is not what one ordered on Saturday I ordered food in this place I had never spent all my order was wrong when I picked up my change I did not say anything because I thought the girl grabbed her tip from there .. it had never happened to me but on Saturday I was disappointed in this place, I do not know what happens before they had better staff but now do not look at a girl from the old

This one is a local favorite of mine. Not only does the menu offer a healthy variety of Mexican dishes, the portion sizes are HUGE. From a variety of meats to sides to combinations, you will leave this place satisfied and with leftovers for another meal. The only reason I'm not giving this restaurant a 5 star review is because of the way they make their rice and beans. The flavor is fine but the rice tends to be on the soggy side and the beans could stand to be a bit thicker. Aside from that a great place to eat if you're in the mood for something South of the border.

I love this cute little place! Its decorated very nicely and they are very fast. The food is delicious and I think its worth the price. 3 tacos are about $9. Wish they gave you the option to just have 2 tacos. They also serve horchata which is so delicious. They have a lot of food to select from the menu. The only problem is that it is a very tiny place, so it might be tough to bring in a huge crowd without calling to reserve. Other than that, it's my new taco place.

If you love mexican food and like it MILD, that's a great and really tasty option. Don't forget to save room for the desert: Tres Leches. The place is simple and also very small, so try to avoid busy hours. And once again: the best tres leches.

We are here a couple times but usually order takeout. They serve complementary chips and salsa if you eat in, the chips are served warm and crispy. We tried tamales, chicken burritos, fish and chicken tacos, they never disappoint. Food is tasty and fresh. Chicken Milanese was ok nothing special. Haven't ever tried any desserts yet. The entrees come with rice and beans and so quantity is at times too much for one person to finish. They provide a good value for money. This is one of the 2 places I go to if I am in mood for Mexican food.

Its okayyyyyy!!! Small spot 4 tables I tried the tacos they were bland... the meat had no flavor and sadly enough you have to use the spicy sauces to kind of revive your taco so if you're not into spicy sauce this is not the place for you
