Good food. Known for their chicken wings. Pricing on all their menu products are fair. Waitress provided adequate service. I would say this person was an exception... while other waitresses were idling around. Very busy on the weekends. Rear parking available.

Love love love the food here. If you like chicken wings and especially a variety of them then this is your go to spot. Over 250 flavors to choose from. The drinks are also reasonably priced and are always good. If any complaints, I wish the in-house wait service moved at a more faster pace... if it was then I would have given this listing a 5 stat review, but I guess it's TRUE what they say that all good things are worth the wait.

First timer, Heard a few good things about this place had to try it. My wife and I just got home from going here and I have to say not impressed. First, I asked the waitress (Cheryl I think) if they had any dry rubbed wings, she didn’t know. Now, I get when you have a menu of 250 different style wings the server may not know them all however, this place is known for their wings they should know. My wife ordered a Ruben with the dressing on the side, sandwich shows up and it’s not on the side. We don’t like to send meals back do to the fear of what may be added once it goes to the kitchen. My wings, as someone previously pointed out the wings should be called fried chicken with sauce. My stomach feels so greasy right now, I don’t know what the wings are fried in but I’m very uncomfortable right now and I didn’t even get hot wings! The sauces, I got bang bang chicken and garlic Parmesan, the sauces were a waste because of the overwhelming grease taste. Now I’m from Buffalo NY so I’ve had some really good wing before, I would personally recommend Buffalo Wild Wings over this place. And that says a lot because wild wings isn’t all that good. That said, I was impressed with the size of the wings, great size!

Chantal (spelling) was our bartender and she was hands down a perfect fit behind the bar. Her personality was killer and the conversations and laughs she shared with my wife and I really made our first experience special. A friend of mine recommended you guys when I was looking for some great wings. My wife and I made a day date for Friday and made the 40 minute trip to Marleys to check it out. It was hard to choose 2 flavors from the list of 220. I finally locked in on Jack Be Nimble and Hot Honey Garlic Both were absolutely outstanding! The wings were ridiculously large and the wings had a nice crisp to them. We WILL be back soon to try more flavors

The wings were fantastic. Nicely cooked and covered in sauce. The burgers were good. Got chicken strips for my daughter and they were a little on the small side and you only get 3. The fries are very tasty. They monitor your ketchup consumption which I'm not a fan of. Overall the staff was very friendly and attentive.

Full Disclosure: I’m allergic to chicken, so I wasn’t able to try what this place is famous for. But I was able to eat a burger. With Mac n cheese on top of it. That was delicious & messy and everything I needed after a day of shooting pumpkins out of cannons. Highly highly highly recommend the Mac n cheese burger. Rarely have I eaten a meal for lunch that has satisfied me through dinner. This. This is one of those meals.

Very nice place hidden in the street front location. Every type of sauce you can imagine for wings. Love this place. They have the best wings, both bone-in and boneless. They have over 300 flavored toppings. Staff personnel are awesome, both friendly and helpful regarding their menu items. You want HOT they have it. You want mild, they have dozens of types. Sold be the dozen and you can split into two types of toppings/sauce.

Beer is cold with many choices of craft beers and bottle beer. Food is fresh and the place is crowded making for a comfortable neighborhood feeling. Wings are the best in the area with many choices of flavors. My favorite is garlic sauce. Prices are reasonable. Bring the family.

I ended up coming to marleys and Gotham grill because my parents wanted to grab a bite to eat. Walking in the place gives you the impression of it being chill and relaxed. The atmosphere is great and welcoming other than the fact that the theme of the place is confusing. But our server was super professional and took care of us the entire time. The reason for 4 stars was because the thia chicken wrap was almost impossible to eat and the fries had a really burnt oil taste. But other than that this place is charming.

I travel extensively throughout the United States, and have been exposed to many flavors and types of good food, BUT Marley's Gotham Grill puts the absolute best to shame. The food's flavor is in a league of its' own. Every single succulent bite is fantastic, I did not want my experience to end!!. I had 2 types of his award winning wings, from the list of over 200 types of Marley's scrumptious wings. From Florida to Hackettstown, NJ..., the trip was definately WORTH it.!!!

Never been here before, starter chips or crisps, however you call it was very good. Perogies were all right. The chicken and wedge salad was very good. I'd go back if requested for a hang out spot again. Also, our waiter was patient and cool, especially when you had to think of how he dealt with 4 ladies who were indecisive. Me being one of them.

If you are tired of the same old "WING" place you may wanna give this place a try. They have 250 different flavors of wings to select from. You can also get boneless, Naked and even Gluten free. If wings are not your thing don't worry about that. They have many other menu items to choose from.

There are somedays I wish I didn't work in Hackettstown, but the days I goto Marleys make it all worthwhile. I am slowly working my way through all o f the wing selections...there's a couple I might skip, but 95% of them sound delicious and every batch I have had was AMAZING!

Went there for lunch on Saturday with a friend. Greeted by a very nice waitress, ordered a drink, and then an appetizer for each, she had pineapple wings and I had shirazi wings. Order came. With 13 huge wings and they were GREAT. No need. For an entree and walked out with 5 in a box..I'm a big guy..she. had 7 left. Would highly recommend and plan to go back next .Friday...there's a beer / wine / cider home brew shop across the street. This place is worth the time.

Not my first time there. Known for their wings, but they were out this time. The burgers were great though. Waitress was great. The kitchen had some issues this time and our order took a while to get to us. The owner/Manager did come over to apologize and gave us a gift card as an apology. It was not needed but appreciated. Overall and based on previous visits I wholeheartedly recommend Marley's. Great place all around.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner on a Saturday evening. Service was really slow and not very good. We both ordered burgers and cokes. Our Sodas were always empty and getting the food/check took much longer than it had to. The burgers were good, cooked as we asked for. Fries and onion rings were good. We have since come back to the restaurant a few times now. We like their burgers and wings, but service is always a issue. It's a shame because the food is good. We love the extensive wing flavors available. We'd come more often, if service wasn't so slow or missing. I wouldn't come here for lunch/dinner if you're in a hurry.

I am a wing fanatic and that is why I was here. The large choice of options for the wings gave me butterflies in my tummy when I saw the menu!! I was so excited..but it all went downhill from there. I ordered the garlic parmesan wings..a choice that you can't go wrong with..literally anywhere...well bad choice here. The wings look like they came out of a shoprite bag. The side of ranch was a freaking tiny Ken's disposable cup..atleast serve your wings with homemade dressings!! As a previous review said..I ate the wings and then felt awful as if I had swallowed a gallon of oil. I tried to get rid of the feeling with a beer and not even that helped. The waitress was good at first but took forever to come back and ask us for a refill but she was chatty with other clients in the high top section. My wife ordered a burger. The fries were soggy and the burger was ok. Absolutely no flavor on the burger but the veggies felt fresh. Hopefully the other food is good and I hope this review does not deter future clients but I hope that you take your customers into consideration and do not take the reviews for granted.

Wings were lightly breaded then tossed in sauce. Wings are huge! The only downfall to this place is that they have 200+ sauces and you can only get one per dozen. A sampler platter would be awesome so other sauces can be tried. It was very busy but the waiter did a good job getting our food in a timely manner. Portions are huge too. Come hungry. Will be back.

The chicken wing flavor selection is amazingly diverse. Regardless your preferences in flavor and spicy levels, you are bound to find something that you would enjoy. Bang Bang (pictures) is my favorite! I would only get chicken wings when I go to Marley’s but other people seem to order whatever they eat... if you were going for the first time, it’s good to bring several friends so you can order and share different flavors to figure out what your favorite is! The service has been courteous and prompt when I visited! I also very much appreciate this place to be independently owned and not a national chain! Give it a try and figure out what you might like there!

We went tonight for our first time after hearing friends tell us over and over how good the wings were. We ordered 6 different flavor wings. All equally delicious, plump and juicy. Our server Greg went above and beyond and provided us with stellar service. The manager Chad came to ask us how everything was and if we had ordered the “Banging Chad” wings. Well we were pretty excited to try this place. Unfortunately our server had other ideas for us that night. All was well until we realized other tables that got there the same time/after we did were getting their food... whatever maybe the vegan wings take longer. Now 45 minutes have gone by and still no appetizers or wings... our server comes by and asks if we want any coffee or dessert... ?? We explain we haven’t gotten our food yet and she rushed off to find out what happened. She comes back to confirm our order as she apparently forgot to put it in to the kitchen. She puts us under the impression that it would be made right so we decide against leaving. Another eternity later the food finally comes out and it’s kind of cold when we get it. Check comes and it’s full price, nobody other the server ever came to talk to us, not even a small dessert was offered, clearly the server never fessed up to management as I can’t imagine management wouldn’t care. Won’t be returning, Ruined what I thought was going to be a good thing...

What can you say about Marleys that every local doesnt already know? The best wings in the area, a great selection of brews, good burgers and everything else a warm and friendly tavern ought to have. Try the Chop Chop salad but bring a friend and get two forks.

Staff needs more guidance, seems lacking management overview. Notice staff pretty much hangs out behind the bar in a corner near the kitchen until a customer waves then down. Wings are great! Service needs attention and the place will be amazing.

Went here last night and was blown away. Definitely worth the 45 min drive! Chad was our server and we laughed the entire time. As a Pocono guy, I was shocked at the price of the wings. We have $.40 & $.50 wings...and after having Marleys, I completely understand why. The wings here are not only awesome, but big, crispy, juicy and there are over 200 flavors. I've been through a few, and they were all amazing. The bartender mixed up our order and we got cheese doodle instead of Cap'n Crunch...we were not disappointed!

Make. Reservations. Wings are on point, meaty and big. OVER 200 types of wing sauces. OMG, so many sound SO good. **Each wing order is a 12 count. Menu is huge!! Impressive if you know what it takes to run a kitchen. Burgers were great but there's no reason to have under-sized buns....then again, wouldn't have eaten as much if the bun was bigger. Manager was respectful and quick to offer "free" even at the slightest imperfection

This place kind of sucked. The beer was way to expensive. It had an extremely chaotic atmosphere. Me and my girlfriend came here to play pool and we put a dollar in the table and I went to grab a beer and she was racking up the balls. Two workers on break stepped in and stole our game and wouldn't let us play till they were done. The wings were not nearly as good as people hype them up to be. Wouldn't come again.

Waited 15 minutes for a table, and after being seated, another 30 before we had to ask the hostess if we were going to have a server or not. When he finally came to the table 10 minutes later, we ordered wings and fries. Normally would not be bothered but other tables that were sat AFTER us were receiving their food before we even ordered ours. The fries were underdone and needless to say we were unimpressed. Will not return.

The food is great. They have innovative ideas. The service just plan sucks if you are not there at dinner. Lunch in the dinning room consist of usually one server who never returns unless delivering to multiple tables. The food though is great hope they fix this

I loved the selection of wings. They had 100 flavors to choose from. The waitress recommended bang bang and boy we're they good. Great little spot to grab a beer and some wings.

This was an ok wing joint. Service was slightly colder than expected, and perhaps this put a downer on our experience. However, the wings themselves (what we came for) for...fine. Not brilliant, not terrible, just fine. The plain buffalo, or mild, seemed to have a lack of butter and was just vinegary. The other wings were ok, just very salty. What was surprising was that for a place which prides itself on wings, the dips (blue cheese, ranch) were all bought in. Surely of selling wings at such lather volumes a homemade blue cheese dip would be better and more economically viable than store bought? Not the transcendent wing experience I was hoping for unfortunately - perhaps we just ordered incorrectly?

I am an Asian Indian to begin with and you know what to expect when I mean spicy food. I traveled for 40 min to reach there. Motley's gotham grill is a medium to small size place for a restaurant located deep in NJ called Hackettstown, NJ. You will have to drive deep to reach there for a decent meal. We went there 11 in a group with 4 kids included. The signature chicken wings Bang bang and parmesan chicken were really good. It is by no means spicy to me, but its real tasty, no issues there. But the other items in the entree is something you should clearly avoid. The fish and chips which the waitress recommended was really the big dud, Please don't order that and then the Chocolate lava cake too... The Sunday menu for kids say its free when you order more than 4 entrees... but they simply try to say it kicks in only after 6 pm, even though the menu card says its for the day. Its not pricey... but stick to your chicken wings and you should be fine for the travel you make to reach for food!

A warm salad and then relatively cool food that was unremarkable to be kind. Later it took days to finally feel right again. The food was not only bad but made me ill. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place in anyway shape or form. Going into this little local place I had high hopes. But at this point I could only warn you to stay away.

Awesome place! We've gone there for wing night a few times and haven't been disappointed yet. I find that the servers are usually pretty honest when it comes to which flavors are winners and which ones you might need to have a very adventurous tongue for. Our favorites are the chicken and waffles, and the steakhouse wings. Nachos are super good too!

Went for lunch today, got the garlic parmesan wings, and I am very disappointed. The wings came out as bread crumb mush covered in butter, literally tasted like grease and cheese. To make it even better, I got sick 3 hours later after eating the wings. Very overpriced for low quality food, not coming back.
