They accommodated 40 to 50 of us (separate checks were not a problem at all) the wait staff was very pleasant. John Carlos was our waiter, he was friendly and polite and accurate. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stop before the football game. The food was fresh and super delicious. I'd go back!

This.place.blows. The name should be changed to Maria la Gran Mentira! I will like to point out the positive; since I like to look for the good in all. The place is spacious with comfortable seating and it's clean... including the bathroom. As far as bad goes I have never tasted a worse sangria than I did here (we regret ordering a pitcher). Terrible, it was cheap Moscato mixed with god knows what. (Wassup with the plastic stemware wine glasses?!) total turn off! We go to cheers and its freakin plastic. Bruh. The guacamole, chips, and shrimps were also thumbs down. Everything on our plates tasted like BJs packaged food. My BFF being a chef and all was flabbergasted. The service was not great. I wouldn't go back to this place even if they had an all you can eat and drink for free99. We left Maria's to go eat at a steak house.

This review is for the brunch offering. If this isn't your usual brunch spot, it should be. For $25 (per person) you get an app, an entree, a dessert, and bottomless mimosas. The food was excellent. The service was good. The music wasn't overwhelming and the atmosphere was lovely. In addition to the quality, the entrees are quite sizeable (the apps and desserts were appropriately sized). Service was pretty good. We came on a Saturday but it looks like there is live music on Sundays

Went there for the 1st time Saturday night.. Heard the drinks and music were good so we decided to give it a try. Disappointed from the beginning. The waitress was polite but she sat us down at dirty table which normally, Wouldn't make a big deal about as it would usually get wiped down. However, the waitress decides to clean the table with a Pledge like foam spray which sprayed mist all over my friends and I. The waitress was oblivious to this. Drinks: The server convinced us to order a full pitcher of the Champagne Sangria as she recommended it as her favorite and best drink at the place. Disappointed again. It wasn't terrible but it definitely wasn't anything memorable. The plastics wine glasses were so taboo. Take note, a full pitcher will only serve 4 ppl 1 half full cup. Food: We asked about the 6 sampler appetizer ($35) on the menu. She advised that the chef picks out the 6 for you based on what is the most fresh in the kitchen. We gave it a chance. After 35 minutes of waiting for the appetizer, it finally came out. After 20 min of waiting, we did ask the waitress on status and she said she would check on it but she never followed up with us but instead went to chat up with her coworkers while we waited an additional 15 min for the apps. The apps that the chef selected for us were calamaris, shrimp in garlic sauce, stuffed mushrooms, quesadillas, bbq pulled pork sliders, and chorizo. Lets start with the fact that nothing was warm. The calamari 's were the smallest rings I have ever seen in my life and definitely tasted microwaved. Served 4 shrimp that tasted like they had turned (very fishy taste). 4 Stuffed mushrooms tasted like the stuffing had gone bad. And they were small mushrooms. Quesadillas were just melted cheese on a flour tortilla. No flavor at all. Only side served with is was guacamole, no salsa or sour cream. Bbq pork sliders were actually pretty tasty. Wouldn't mind eating those again. Chorizo was cut in half and served 3 half sliced chorizos (so 1.5 chorizo in total). They were tasty but they come already full of flavor precooked so I cant really give the chef credit fo that. Also some of them were burned. The last thing was the bill. THIS IS IMPORTANT!!! NOTE THAT THEY AUTOMATICALLY ADD 18% TIP TO A TABLE OF 3 or more ppl. I have never experienced this in my life. I have only seen automatic gratuity added on tables of 6 or more. I have heard of 5 but never 3! We did not see it posted on their menu and only found out when we saw the bill. We asked the waitress if that was correct and she confirmed yes. Too bad I didn't think of taking pictures of anything else that night but it is etched in my memory forever. Needless to same we left after that and decided to eat dinner elsewhere. Luckily the new place we went to was an amazing first time experience that made up for the dissatisfaction that took place here!

Thank goodness I had three eyewitnesses to vouch for me that I did not receive it. It was then giving to me but to go, which I was happy with. Before your appetizers they give your small cup thing of syrup and a hard cake biscuit thing. It was hard and kinda dry. It just was not need period to be given to anyone. Just my opinion. There is a picture of it half eaten. Besides that the $25 brunch it a super sweet deal. My entree was very very good plus bottomless mimosas until 3pm! You get your money worth and more. I would totally go back.

Worst experience ever!!!! We use to come to this place and the cook was a lady and she was very good but when we came in for Father’s Day my parents order mar y Tierra with lobster tail and the food was horrible. The lobster tail was spoiled and my dad’s lobster tail shelf had a fly that came out of it. It smelled disgusting and meat was undercooked. That day who ever was cooking had no idea what he was doing. The manger a guy that was as bartender gave us an attitude cause after that I didn’t want to eat my food either, i order the paella and the muscles were old and look and smell horrible. he was very rude and he was not apologetic for the bad food. We could of have gotten sick if we ate that thing. DISGUSTING 100% very disappointing. I used to love this place. Perhaps the manager should check the plates before they are Sever to the customers and should take some customer service lessons.

This place use to be good. However, they now provide a horrible service. I have been many times before and I'm not sure what happened, but the service is terrible. I ordered some empanadas which were hard as a rock, and they lacked in flavor. They served me some hot sauce on a flat plate with no spoon. Then I order some drinks which were served on a over used glass. The plates were dirty. At the end of the night they impossed me the gratuity on the bill of 18% which contradicts the word gratuity. Horrible service false advertisement. Defenately filing a complaint with the city hall, and escalating it to the BBB.

Mediocre and over priced The owner is very arrogant to begin with, her mom is the "manager" and she clearly cant manage the place. This restaurant is a nightclub wannabe on weekends and doesnt meet the expectations. Very limited room for dancing, drunk people all over the place trying to get a drink. The bartenders are LAME. the cuban girl cant even make a sangria properly and the mexican little guy is rude to custumers. The djs are bad, every friday they have the same singer which is very boring The food is ok, nothing crazy for the price.....and the rice is overheated. The service is mediocre as well. Would never ever go back to this place, there are better options out there with better food, better service and better ambience.

We were charged extra for food without our knowledge. We wanted to seat in the high tables they said it was reserved. 10 minutes after a couple came in without reservation and they asked to seat there and got it. The food is ok. The music was great. Great location though.
