Food was very good. I have been here on three occasions and got the chicken sandwich the Pub burger and have got the wings all of the items I had were very good and cooked just right. Place can get kind of busy during the lunch/dinner rush so plan accordingly. Would recommend to anyone in the mahwah area.

The parking lot was almost full but there was NO WAITING! They seem to wait tables in a tag team fashion and they are fast & ON IT! Irish nachos were yummy! Open face ruben is awesome! I paid $2 to get french onion soup instead of fries and it might just be the best I've ever had! But I tried a French fry off someone else's plate and they were so good I was almost sorry I skipped them. Owned by the same people that own Allendale Bar & Grill (I asked) It more then hit the spot & will for sure be back.

I work nearby and MBG has been me and my coworker's go to lunch spot for over 10 years easy. They have the best wings, hands down. Staff is friendly and owner is hands on. A great place to drop by on a hot summer day and cool off with an ice cold beer and an awesome meal.

Well worn down joint with diner-like menu items. Had the French onion soup which tasted excessively salty and was so hot it was uneatable. Battered fish and shrimp were too battered and lacked flavor. This place well past its’ prime - can not recommend.

What a depressing place. And there appears to be no effort to change that, either. I've been there 3 times and was struck by that each time. From the flat affect of the maitre d, to the slow and unenthusiastic service, there is no reason for me to return to this place. I give it 2 stars instead of 1 only because the wings are good. I reluctantly went there recently with a friend because he really wanted the wings. I thought I'd give it another shot, since it had been a few years since I had been to this place. Lesson learned. I doubt I'll ever visit this place again.

A classic spot in Mahwah, NJ. Beer list is great. Bar food is great as well. Wings, Burgers, artichoke dip, etc... If you are expecting a steak or a piece of fish, I would probably go elsewhere. Complimentary popcorn is nice as well. Staff are all friendly.

Affordable, delicious , consistent. Monday night wings is the best. Tuesday night pasta is awesome as well. Have been going here weekly for at least 7 years. Very popular at times so sometimes you have to wait a little while to get your food but it's always worth it when you do.

I've always loved the atmosphere in the MBG, it brings me back whenever I visit. It's "Home" and I always hope to run into old friends. The food seems to get better every time I visit. The "Coach Carty Wrap", did not disappoint, supper yummy. Coach Carty is a legend and the wrap brought back memories of my childhood and the amazing man that he was. Craig Kunish (owner) always stops by the table to say hello and check that we are enjoying everything. Such a great place. Looking forward to visiting more often.

Went there tonight with my son for dinner. It was pleasantly surprising to see a bin for a clothes drive in the entry, and 10% of the proceeds from tonight's dinners are being donated to a local boy scout troop. Neither of these details have anything to do with the food, but they sure gave me a good feeling to see. My son and I both ordered off the specials menu; a mussel appetizer in a tomato broth with kalamata olives and bread for dipping. Very nice, if a little messy. Then, we got the burger of the week. Big, piping hot, and delicious. I got broccoli with mine but my son got fries. The broccoli was not overcooked so it was good, but my son's fries were excellent: hot, crispy, and slightly salty. Yowza! It was a busy dinner service our whole time there, but the waitstaff all appeared to be calm and on top of it. That, and not having an unreasonable wait for our food is another major plus, probably worth a star and a half itself. Definitely worth going here for a family meal. Strongly recommended.

This is a good place to go, we have been eating there over the years, and have had several Holiday parties there. The staff is always very friendly and cooperative, the owner is honest as the day is long, and easy to get along with, and the food is always very good. The place is neat, well maintained, and they honestly appreciate their customers, they say it, but more importantly the service they provide proves it. Words are cheap.

The place clean, comfortable and lighting just right. Noise level medium, parking on premises. Everybody works as a team as far as I was able to see On different days they have different themes as I remember some days are trivia night, other days are pasta and even wings days , surely need to try Love it

Ok restaurant. Had the Guiness fish and chips. Batter was a big undercooked. “Chips” are really homemade chips. A bit greasy. The wings looked good and perhaps will try those if we ever come back. Beer selection was just ok. Overall a friendly, busy and hopping place.

Went in for lunch last Saturday 4/27/2019 and had the best ribeye steaks I’ve had in a long time. Lots of food on the plate, baked potato, steamed broccoli, etc. The steak was carefully prepared just as I had ordered. No major complaints about service, my waitress was young and still learning but she immediately corrected her mistakes with a bright smile. Great selection of draft beers plus a full bar with every concoction you can conger up. The back room was comfortable but very noisy due to hard reflective walls and ceiling but if your a little hard of hearing sit in the front room or in the bar booths.
