We offer you all the feddbacks of real people who are using the products and services of Madame Claude Bis (Restaurant) in the area close to the state of New Jersey.
Right now this business receives a score of 4.6 stars out of 5 and that rating was based on 472 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average of ratings that it reaches is practically the best one, and it is based on a large number of scores, so we can think that the assessment is quite reliable. If there are many people who bothered to give their score when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to write scores when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant corresponds to the category of French restaurant.
Absolutely delicious top class food. We had appetizers, salad, entrees and dessert. The best place to go in Jersey City. The General manager is so nice, kind and caring for his customers! Service was 5 star. We had the best service and recommendations from Mihai. You must come here!!!!!!!
We started with a bottle of a red blend with mostly cab. Decent wine but nothing I would buy again in a store. We ordered the escargot and pate to start. While we were working on these the waiters also brought out our mussels (mustard ones) and cheesy cauliflower. The table was Pretty tiny and we couldn't fit all of the dishes even though it wasn't a crazy amount of food. The waiter was a little weird about it telling us he didn't know what to do or where to put our food..
Comfortable and cozy. Delicious French food. Good for a romantic date night or catching up with an old friend.
Good food and ambiance
Very good food; excellent drinks; and good service. Price is on the higher side.
Lovely service, great atmosphere, and of course, delicious cuisine. It can get pricey, but it's worth it. Scallops, oysters, steak, and desserts to die for.
The food was very good. The atmosphere to this place is great. The bar has excellent beers on tap or in the bottle. My only issue is that I felt certain dishes were a bit over priced for the portion you got but besides that it was a pretty good experience overall.
Madame Claude's is one of the best French restaurants around. Their steak is always expertly prepared and comes with your choice from three different sauces available. The Couscouse Madame Claude is one of my favorites and I always walk away with extra. In their new location they now have a liquor license and have many great wines, beers, and cocktails available.
Great atmosphere. Love the cocktail and apple cider here. The lamb stew with barley was so so good. Although mussel is just okay not too much flavour.
Took my boyfriend here for his birthday and he absolutely loved it. He had the duck confit and I had the steak frites and both were cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is very cool and our waiter was very nice.
Super coffee. Enjoyed brunch menu. First time i had spicy lamb sausage. Not a lamb fan but liked it a lot. Crepe excellent, bagget for sandwich spot on and egg Benedict with salmon delicious.
Great vibe. Authentic feel. Excellent mussels !
This place is one of the hidden (although not so much anymore) gems of Jersey City. Offering a wide array of French dishes, friendly service, and regular gypsy jazz, Madame Claude soars over the competition as a favorite local hang, and a fantastic spot to frequent before or after a show at White Eagle Hall or Jersey city Theatre Center.
Cozy atmosphere, nice menu. Portions were a little stingy and the entrance is not stroller friendly.
Come on Thursday for live music
The food and the service were excellent. My waiter was really nice. Even we didn't have to wait for a table to have dinner. I highly recommend it.
Delicious food! I'm going to make this a frequent destination.
Go when they have live music. Food is great and atmosphere is perfect
Went there before they moved to the current location just one block away hidden behind the main street. Every dish we ordered was prepared to perfection. Their French onion soup really hit the spot. Would love to check out their new digs. Hope their business is growing without sacrificing the integrity of the taste they're known for. Only time will tell.
This place is a little off the beaten path if you don't know what you're looking for. It's beautiful inside though, and they have live music on Thursday evenings. Their cocktails and Crepes are pretty excellent.
Fun
Good food, but a bit overpriced. We really liked the mushroom appetizer (I think it was a special of the day). The duck was also very good. The seafood special was OK. The flourless chocolate cake was very rich and good with the ice cream, but we needed more ice cream. We brought half home and enjoyed it with more ice cream. Now that the menu is limited if you are vegetarian.
Amazing service, the wines are fantastic and the food is brilliant. The cherry on top is the collection of french deserts. Anthony and Roger who manage the bistro are superb and you should ask them for suggestions. Tuesdays and Thursdays are jazz nights. Wednesdays are movie nights. A great Romantic date spot
So far, personal best in Jersey City. Had a Pastis. Need a second visit. I like the owner.
The food was good and the waiter Rodger was excellent
Amazing food and great staff. I have been going for years and will continue to.
Food reliably prepared with care. Standouts are the Leg of Lamb, terrific duck confit and the mussels! Delicious and unique cocktails. Cheese board could use more inspiration and variety of accompaniments (especially with Third and Vine so nearby) and the vegetable side dishes are not up to the standard of the rest (if you love cauliflower like I do - don’t order the cauliflower gratin). Madame knows what she’s doing but a better vegetable game with nods to modern cleaner veg sides would be welcome - especially in summer. Surely this is possible even with authentic French cooking?!
Cool french bistro tucked in an unusual location in Jersey city. The restaurant is in a basement which kinda takes away from the experience but they have a nice decor which kinda makes up for it. Some tables can be small. Food is French comfort, crepes are good, I got the Moroccan lamb crepe which was good and portions are ok.
Tarte tatin was mushy and bitter. Other dishes just okay.
Great hidden gem. Great food and drinks, for a date night or a girls night.
Ended up here by pure luck. Authentic French menu and amazing homemade crepes. Wine list and cocktails are extensive. Great find!!
Amazing spot! I came for the dollar oysters event on Facebook. If the oysters, desserts, and wines are any indication, the food is excellent. Some other Americans might find the portion sizes a bit smaller than what they've come to expect, but that's par for the course for dining in a lot of other countries (and they give customers free bread, which is a nice bridge). The only thing I wish were different was the pricing- if only because it would give me the chance to come by more often. Because of the vast disparity of income in JC, I'm sure it would be a great opportunity for other locals, too. I was amazed by the atmosphere and the staff. In particular, Natalie, the bartender, was extremely helpful and charismatic. I came at a time where I was distraught about the state of the US. Madame Claude Bis reminded me of something beautiful - that despite this region's flaws, we're still a melting pot- you don't have to look long to get immersed of something different for a while.
An intimate and savory experience that was complimented by friendly staff, unique specials and unforgettable desserts!
Great place and atmosphere. Service was excellent and prompt. Drinks were on point. Food was excellent. Had the steak. Even the desserts were perfect.
This place is amazing, great ambiance, amazing service. The escargot was delicious and the oysters were the best I've had in long time. The whiskey and wine selection was great too. I didn't order the steak but the gentleman seated next to me did and made me wish I had it was cooked perfectly.
Very nice vibe, quaint and cool for a date night. The cocktails were good, but not too many oprions, so maybe stick to wine. We ordered the snails, pate platter, smoked salmon crepe and shortrib dish (special of the night). The snails are out of the shell, they were good and tasty but i prefer doing the work of taking them out lol. Pate, small platter they give 6 tiny pieces of 2 types of pate. One was good, the other dry and ok'ish. The salmon crepe was good to try, i prob wouldnt order again though. Its exactly as described so its my fault. Think of a bagel and lox sandwhich and put it in crepe form. The short rib was delicious, it was in a wine reduction sauce and so soft and succulent. The dish was $34, pricey imo...not bad but note its basically just meat. The side dishes on it are too small to call them anything but garnish. Bill was $122 without tip, a bit pricey for the small quantities. We probably wouldnt go back, but Im glad i tried them.
Delicious! From appetizers to dessert. Perfection.
Very nice place and the staff is awesome.
Great food. Great ambience. Great service. So many plus points, hard to just stop at 5 stars.
I love this place
Madame Claude Bis is a wonderful little place to eat great French food,, drink a bit and when we were there, listen to three men play background music. It was a great night with my wife & her sister my son & our niece. The food was very good ~ excellent in my mind. Try the escargot if you like that. You won't be disappointed. It was easy to find even on a miserable rainy night. One caution: It is expensive. (but worth every penny)
Awesome. $1 oysters at bar on Wednesday Anthony the bartender is great
Always great food and service. The galettes are delicious
My favorite French restaurant this side of the Atlantic.
It pains me to say, but my experience this evening was mediocre, and that’s being kind. I wanted it to be so much more as I have a true passion for the restaurant business and the French way of doing things, but the food and service was lacking. Perhaps we should have ordered a starter as we were waiting some time for our mains. I had the salmon, which was ok, a bit over done to be honest, and my partner had the steak frites (asked for medium) which came out well done, which killed it. We decided to end the night with a couple desserts, one creme brûlée and one Nutella crepe - the latter being extremely rubbery and tough, which leads me to believe it was cooked earlier that day, or even before, and warmed up for service. Definitely going to head back in a hope it was a one off and because I want to try some of the items, in addition to getting a better seat in the house (we didn’t book so I can’t complain). All in all, a disappointment, especially given it was close to $60 per head, with only a couple cocktails included.
Best when live music is going on. Otherwise great French food in a relatively quiet part of town
By far one of the best brunch spots in JC ! Excellent food and cool speakeasy vibe!
Great drinks, food and coffee. We had delicious duck, lamb and crape with pear and chocolate.
Delicious food and friendly staff in a cozy setting. My favorite was the muscles with fries and their french onion is the best.
Great atmosphere. Cocktails are on point. Food is delicious!
I was heartbroken at how terrible my meal and the service was for brunch. I used to come here years ago when it was across the street and it was one of my favorite places. Sadly the food was inedible and the service was atrocious! Do not dine here!
Romantic bistro with excellent service and great food.
Amazing food and reasonably priced. Service was a bit lacking but in general really worth a visit.
I’d love to give this place more stars but... 1) The service is simply too informal and unprofessional. It’s sloppy and unaware of customers’ basic needs. And there was a man in his late twenties behind the bar who did nothing but watch the staff scurry while diners waited. Then he started drinking red wine while browsing his phone. I presume it’s the owners’ sin because his obvious disdain for the paying clientele was on full display. 2) The food is... passable. The bread is a cold, doughy version of a baguette - certainly not the warmed loaf with crunchy crust most of us love. Miss. The homemade pate was a nice take but it’s accompanying salad wasn’t a strong enough pairing - there’s a reason toast, cornichons, mustard and a fruit compote has been served with pate for over a century. Miss. The duck confit was disappointing, served with some sort of Moroccan spiced salsa slathered on top, any crispness from the duck skin was lost. And the flavors overpowered an otherwise beautiful duck leg. The purée and string beans were solid. Miss. Frittes had an oddly strong taste of the oil in which they were fried - there’s zero potato flavor. The oil is all you taste. Perfectly cooked, though. Still.... Miss
Amazing French cuisine! Highly recommended!!
A great place, good food and charming staff. Very much enjoyed the band during dinner too. Definitely worth a visit.
Perfectly prepared French food in a charming, approachable atmosphere. When we went there in June 2015 it was BYOB (yay !). Not sure now...
the overall vibe of this restaurant is amazing! the exposed brick- live music on Thursday's and the escargot is the best i've ever had... definitely a place you should check out!! Roger was an awesome waiter too :)
Great place, nice and cozy with a wonderful menu.
A cool french food place with top notch food and service. Had lamb and salmon crepes and they are out of this world!! There are outside seatings as well but inside has a pretty cool vibe too. Great place for brunch or dinner. Host and servers are super nice.
Great atmosphere and food
The brunch menu is great and the quality of food even better. Friendly staff, great service, and the price is right! Definitely going back.
I find the place is quit clean, service was great, foods was delicious. I would go back for more.
Awesome brunch place in JC
Great food, beautiful place, great atmosphere, and very friendly staff.
Very nice bistro. Clean, good service. Food was very good, reasonable prices. Definitely would go back for Sunday brunch.
Love this place. I have eaten here 4 times in the last year and never disappointed. I never had a taste for French cuisine growing up but I am a believer now after going to Madame Claude's. And the waiter Roger is a chef himself and always knows what to recommend on your preference each time. He knows how to make the experience extra special.
Delicious brunch and excellent value and service. Highly recommend getting the eggs benedict and the French toast. Especially impressed with the perfectly crunchy but not greasy side of potatoes. A+! Will be coming back again for brunch and to try dinner.
This place is great. Always bring people here when they visit from out of town. Awesome menu with the service to match. Five stars!
My family took me here for Mother's Day brunch. I loved every minute...great wait staff, Madame was amazing and the food was delicious! I cannot wait to go back. French without being pretentious. Worth the visit. (Also, there were 9 of us and we were not crowded.)
No vegan options except for bread and salad. However, it's a beautifully decorated space and the staff are both attentive and polite. Their bread and home made jam is
Great brunch with delicious croissants, my favorite the Croque Madame, and tasty french toast.
Fabulous ambiance. Amazing food.
Our favorite place to go for special occasions! Great atmosphere, the food has always been amazing, and pretty good house wine. We had a hangup with a reservation confusion by a new staff member last time and the manager not only handled it gracefully with us, but was easy on the new guy, which I appreciated and am sure he did too. One request: provide a little list of the cheeses when one is ordering the cheese plate? I have trouble processing new words if I don't know how they're spelled, so I was unable to remember the name of a single cheese we tried. Even handwritten on a small piece of paper in pencil would suffice (and to save paper, you could put on the menu that it must be requested).
A hidden gem. Great food, atmosphere beautiful and rustic and romantic; like a french chateau. Drinks are great, i love brunch here with a date. Good selection on sweet or savory crepes.
Madame Claude's is a cozy French restaurant in Jersey City that I wish I had found earlier. The bar serves some delicious cocktails and the kitchen sends our some make-you-say "mmmm" food. To top it off the soft lighting and music just add to the overall charm of the place. Will be heading back here for sure!
Great food and authentic French feel to the restaurant. Recommended.
Amazing warm place for drinks and conversations ! Bit pricey.
Nice service and great food, beautiful cozy ambiance.
Crepes were GOD-Awful. They gave me the wrong mussels. Flank steak was very chewy. Pate was really good.
Big variety of products. Very helpful staff.
This is a nice little cozy restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating - the food was great and the staff was very attentive. The tables are placed closely together, it's is a bit of a tight space, but I didn't find that uncomfortable. This place has low lighting, which helped set the mood and it's decorated beautifully. Would definitely go again.
Excellent food and service.
The best meal I have had all year! I can’t wait to go back. The service, wine list, cocktails and food were all absolutely perfect! I had the duck confit, it melted in my mouth, the sauce was delicate but added the perfect counter point to the rich duck! I also had the escargot, they were delightful and the sauce! It butter and garlic and wonderfully fresh herbs.
Great ambiance and food. Loved the place and excellent service
Nice ambience inside. Majority of the food we ordered was great except the oysters. Disappointed because they marketed as fresh oysters but when they come to us they were not cleaned very well and not appetizing to eat. Still giving the 4 stars because our entrees were great...steak and lamp chops. Delicious crepes for dessert!
We chose a selection of their house bestsellers for starters, oysters, escargot, fish and shrimps. Could not have been better, no kidding. The drinks were refreshing and well composed. The Chablis wine and the. St Emmilion recommended by the waiter perfecly fit the menue. As main course we again followed the chef‘s recommendation including trout and cote de beouf ... a dream! Great desserts! A place to return.
Cool space, not impressed. Will give another try
Great food and a cool atmosphere. Service was amazing. It's a little on the pricy side, but it's worth it for a special occasion! Can't wait to go back.
Below average food for above average prices. There ambience is good, but I found the food to be mediocre at best. The creme brulee was cold and watery. The besided lamb was hard and tasted odd. Nothing special about the crepe either. The $13 cocktail came in a small glass with an ice berg the size of the glass with hardly any cocktail in it. I guess anything goes if there's a French label.
Good brunch. Besides food, the other good thing is my group had conversation without screaming at each other. Like the place.
Service is good. The food can take time and depending on what you order can be a little under seasoned. But cozy, fun spot. I came here for brunch and lunch before and enjoyed both. Make sure to get the soup bowl sized cappuccino.
We came for brunch on Saturday. The place has a very nice ambiance and good service. We enjoyed drinks, especially horseradish laced Bloody Mary cocktail. However food was not spectacular: the eggs Benedict's was very soggy and crepe dry.
The food was absolutely delicious. I had the grilled pork, which came with a baked apple, cabbage and polenta. The flavors were intense and complex, hands down one of the best pork dishes I've had. The service was very slow and inattentive so I can't give a full 5 stars, but really fantastic cooking.
Wine and cheese or full on dinner. You won't be disappointed!
Madame Claude was very good. The recommended wine selection was very tasty. Everything we ate was great.
The French toast was one of the best I have ever had. Friendly staff and the experience was just great overall
Service was slow, but delicious food and cozy environment. I would go back
One of my favorite spots in Jersey City. Madame Claude has a wonderful ambiance right when you walk in - sort of a basement speakeasy feel. Food is very good and the bar is always nice to sit at. They have a prix fixe option during the week, live music, and wine tastings each month. Definitely recommend checking out this hidden gem.
Don't miss the escargot. Even if you've never had escargot. Madame Claude Bis is a happy place to have your snail cherry popped. We also had the oysters, the coq au vin (very good, but when I'm back I'm going to try the steak frites), and I think the salmon with grape butter. Everything at least worth crossing the Hudson into New York's sixth borough, even if it isn't all worth a special trip from Miami.
Really good food and cocktails. Authentic French food and amazing atmosphere. Little expensive but I felt that it was completely worth it. They have great HH deals though
Surprising french restaurant in Jersey City. Fantastic venue in a up & coming area of JC. Great choices on the menu. Walking distance from Grove St Station.
Excellent choice if you like French cuisine. Live music at times and cozy atmosphere. Very nice little spot. Good for dates.
Food and service were both impressive, 5 star experiences. The atmosphere is very cozy, live jazz twice a week. Specials have a lot of thought put into them and are delicious. Prices are very reasonable as well. Will definitely make this a regular stop!
Awesome food, owners are really nice, small but solid and variable beer selection. Nice vibe especially outside. Regular band (French guys I think) plays weekly.
Outstanding brunch...Order the bacon!
Our go-to French in JC
Delicious french cuisine.
Great ambience and food! Thank you Roger!
Loved the food, friends took me here to celebrate birthday.
Cute dive with brick walls and unique wrought iron light fixtures. French fare that is a bit pricey but justified by live jazz offered on certain nights. Lively scene with some outdoor seating. Don’t come for the food. Come for ambiance.
Walk down the stairs from Jersey City into a Parisian restaurant. Delicious vegan Zucchini soup and Steak frites. Delicious. Service was delightful. Highly recommend.
I get to eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I must say their service is always fantastic and they keep the place clean all the time. Pricing is convenient and they serve big portions.
My wife and I went here on a Sunday evening because of the positive reviews we saw. Being fans of French cuisine, we were very excited. Both of us had a mixed experience, in which I have categorized the review below: FOOD: My wife ordered the chicken entree, while I chose the lamb shank entree. Hers was absolutely amazing and really great mashed potatoes. I wish I could say the same about mine. The meat on the lamb shank was so tough I had to rip it off the bone. The vegetables tasted like they were frozen and then heated up. SERVICE: It was a slow night - and the waitresses seemed to want to chat with each other than check in with us (which when they did come over, they overcompensated). Refills took forever and eventually had to waive the waitress down to get her attention while she and the other girl was chatting away or goofing around. ENVIRONMENT: The decor was absolutely beautiful and the soundtrack they were playing helped bring France into the room. HOWEVER, the kitchen was blasting Spanish music and people were talking/laughing so loud back there that it took away from the ambience - it was very distracting and was sad because the ambience they were trying to have in the main room was not achieved. CONCLUSION: I am really hoping my experience was just a one time instance. We may venture here again, but I would probably give a busier night a “go” - when there is less down time and more show time.
The food and atmosphere are great but beware the specials. The waiter neglected to tell me that the ribeye was $96 yes. Ridiculous wasn't that good what a surprise never again
the new location is beautiful, as is the bar. you'll see as soon as you walk in.. amazing food - try the cauliflower, the cheese sauce is killer. friendliest bartenders and wait staff. you'll find me here next time I'm in JC.
The food and ambiance were excellent, as was the service. The only problem we and our guests had was the fairly loud, inappropriate music playing in the restaurant. It was annoying and distracted from an otherwise great meal. Two of us had the lamb shank—excellent and very large portion, one had muscles and one had the pork. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The wine list is nit large but well suited to the menu.
Don't get me wrong. The service and atmosphere are 4 stars. The food is just unimpressive. And $20 for a cocktail? Nice place to take a 1st date amd that's it.
Great ambiance. Super friendly staff. Loved the fries and the escargot. Not so wild about the saffron mussels. Loved my entrée. Note that this is not a chain restaurant, so don't expect giant portion sizes. Moderately pricey.
Great food, cozy vibe. We stopped by for Valentine's Day and enjoyed the live music and friendly atmosphere.
Food and services was excellent. It's nice to have drinks at the bar or a date and groups.
Country French restaurant that has a very nice variety of food choices. Great ambiance, Anthony, the bartender, adds to the great hospitality.
Love the food the scenery was more than amazing it really reminded of being in France, live music
The food is always fresh and well prepared. The wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The music on Thursday night is a joy to listen to and not imposing. Well worth the small venue. Go for good comfort food. Go early, the specials sometimes sell out quickly.
Service fair the food is good and the price are right. Had eggs Benedict with roasted duck amazing.
Great wine list, friendly and attentive staff and the food was fantastic. Overall, a great experience
Excellent drinks and great staff. The food was part but the ambiance is stellar. Nice little hidden gem in JC
Such a lovely place for the Valentine’s Day dinner. Super delicious food and fun live music, made my day! Will be back for sure!
Recently witnessed a couple that requested accommodation relating to ADA legislation. A gentleman who introduced himself as the owner of the establishment was overheard saying that it is up to him whether he complies with ADA requirements or not, and that he chooses not to do so. The couple quietly left the establishment. If I'm not mistaken, the Americans With Disabilities Act is designed to prevent this type of discrimination...
I loved the drinks. The bartender is talkative and fun.
The only thing better than the amazingly delicious food, is their new server Alyza! She is simply phenomenal. Will make this our regular spot, but only when Alyza is around.
Clean, good service, average french fare. Open late on Friday and Saturday nights.
Excellent service excellent food. Accommodating staff.
Delicious brunch, creative cocktails, and friend staff. I'd recommend going for sure!
Great spot, even for brunch.
I have been coming here since they were a tiny cafe shop and relocated to this establishment. This is a great little French cafe away from grove st. Usually I come here for brunch with the gf. Love most of the options. Enjoy the salmon, merguez, crepes, and eggs. Majority of the food options are good. The coffee is a very good option too. Just remember parking is limited in the area. If you come for dinners you may want to make a reservation. For dinner definitely try the muscles I heard great things. Used to be a BYOB but now they have full bar once they moved. Good selection of wines!
Superb food and lively, authentic atmosphere, though I miss the old days at the smaller, Newark Ave location.
Wonderful and cozy atmosphere, with a range of French and french-inspired dishes. The sandwiches we had for brunch were great (croque madame and smoked salmon sandwich), and the dinner menu is great. Check out the daily specials for some really good stuff.
Not recommended. #1) "due to kitchen error "my food was delayed soo much that I had to cancel since the rest of the party finished eating their meal. Now, I HAD TO ASK where my food is as in servers didn't notice that out of party of 4 I was the only one with NO FOOD. #2) they have a condensation problem with their AC and it drips onto the tables (two center tables). Solution - lady comes out with a DIRTY BROOM That has a DIRTY RAG on it and wipes the vent. Bonus part = they didn't change silverware or glasses that are on the tables! Soo whomever will be sitting there next... Good luck... #3 super slow service, no attention to customers. #4 ordered a drink with specific alcohol - server didn't even mention the fact that they DON'T HAVE the specific liquor type and they just made it with house liquor. Sorry but these are just facts of our visit. Two stars instead of one for ambience and signature cocktails. other dishes that did arrive were good.
Terrible steak but great lamb and drinks. Love this place for their cocktails.
Consistently great food and service...Been here 4-5 times in the past year...The duck and lamb shank are always amazing... Also, the goat special is great when offered..Check out the signature cocktails and don't forget dessert...
We went on a Tuesday (jazz night!) and it was great. Really lovely atmosphere, outstanding food, very attentive service.
We love this place and its mirror image Cellar 335. Innovative food interesting drinks.
The waiter Simon was a complete doll. The live music was lovely! Went for my birthday and enjoyed every second!
Good food, shame it closes a little earlier than it should. Must try the crepes and Petit Gateau.
Awesome service, from the minute we step o the premise. Roger was excellent in explaining the specials and meetings our needs. Celebrating my 45 birthday with the restaurant. Food was delicious and affordable. Will be back.
Long time madame claude fan, and the new location is superb. The food is excellent as always and the staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
Great food and friendly staff.
The best French bistro in NJ. Come for the duck and crepes, stay for the music and ambiance.
Everything about it is so COOL!
Wow! What a gem on 4th. Went with a group of friends for brunch on a recommendation and was not disappointed. Before I get ahead of myself, reservations are extremely recommended on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. With that being said you want to make one here. Decor is fantastic, many handcrafted pieces. Rustic yet elegant. Our server Roger was quick, witty and charming. Service was speedy, never felt rushed. We ordered a few different items and all were delicious. Their drink of the day was delightful! We also tried all the desserts on the brunch menu -‘cause why not?!- and surprise! Scrumptious! We enjoyed this place so much we have all decided to make this our next date night spot. Thank you for the great food and experience!
Cheese platter...never had another like theirs!
The best French bistro in Jersey City... Maybe all of North Jersey
One of the best restaurants to enjoy French food in Jersey City.
We held a private engagement here and had an incredible time. The staff was incredibly accomodating, the Owner was so kind, the food was delicious and the drinks perfect! Not one complaint.
Delicious food, nice oysters, great cocktails. Had an awesome date
Amazing small place ! The food is delicious and i'd highly recommend their salmon with wild rice! The overall vibe of the place is rustic but very cool place to go on a date.
