The burger was very good, buns very juicy and soft Drinks and food are served in glass and ceramic plates. If you do not need a straw, you need to inform about that while ordering any drink, including water. Sauce for burgers also come in a plastic container×

Superb! The burger was better than I thought it would be. We had the Munster burger and a featured: guacamole burger. we had sweet potato french fires and fried pickles as our sides. And we had a cookies n' cream milkshake- so worth. It wasn't too sweet. All well worth!

Found out about this place last week and decided to check it out with my girlfriend last night. Great vibe and the food was just amazing. Wanted to order everything off the menu since it all looked and sounded good. The menu was mouthwatering so when the food came out we knew we wouldn't be let down. Absolutely amazing burgers here. Good variety of different kinds of burgers on their menu as well. Staff is also very friendly! The burgers are not too big but you still leave feeling full (especially with that side of fries!). I wish they had more burgers on the cheesy side but you can always make your own too!

We had ordered black bean burgers and milkshake. Milkshake was pretty decent. But burgers were awful.. easily one worst burgers I have ever had. They were literally raw. If you hate cooking vegetarian burgers then why include them on the menu and serve raw burgers to the customers. I wouldn’t recommend this place to any of vegetarian folks out there.

One of the best low-key finds I've had in a while. I was craving a burger and wings, after tiring from the disappointing Italian food in Hoboken. My fiance and I ventured over to JC and found this gem. Fantastic, crispy wings to start, and the burger topped all expectations. I got the classic to see how they do the basics and I was pleasantly surprised. Perfect execution on medium-rare temp. Great sauce and house-brined pickles, and the size of the burger was perfect as well. To top it off, you could tell the crispy fries were hand cut. Simple food but really nice execution here. Hope to be back soon.

Well to eat ...... jersey city is not short on really good restaurants, and left bank is definitely one of them. i'm a huge fan of a good burger, but i always go for the 'garden state' - a black bean veggie burger that is really nothing short of amazing. maybe it's the bun that helps push it over the edge, but it's a really good burger. the place is always packed, and after eating there, it's easy to understand why.

Had the buffalo fries and we were allowed to swap for sweet potato fries. They were wonderful, perfectly cooked and seasoned with generous amounts of blue cheese and a tangy buffalo sauce. The burgers were good- fillings were tasty but we found the buns a little dense and heavy. Side of onion rings had a nice light batter but were a little greasy tasting.

The Mac Daddy: It's supposed to be one of the more popular burgers on the menu and I really don't like it. The fried Mac and Cheese always comes out dry and flavorless. The patty doesn't get quite as much love. One of my least favorites.The Bankrupt Burger: Classic Burger. I think it's fantastic. The govt cheese and the bun is actually the perfect note on a briney pickly burger and I say that in the best way possible.

Left Bank burger is a must in Jersey City. They have unique burgers with names such as Ghost Face killah.....hilarious. The more important thing is that the burgers taste great. They have sweet potato fries and giant onion rings that I always order. There's outside seating when the weather is nice also. The portions are sized properly and is more than enough to fill you up even with a big appetite.

The food was delicious! I got the chicken salad and it was exquisite. My friends got different burgers and they all loved them as well. Our waiter was friendly and helpful but service was a bit slow. We had to hunt down a server for a some sides and our check. Besides that, this place was great.

Sweet 8oz Baby Jesus....I mean burger. Absolutely FANTASTIC. Easy to see why this place is so packed: the burgers are ridiculously good. Their options are fun and the crowd favorites were the ghostface killer and mac daddy. A few beers on draft are a nice touch and they even have "beer and a shot" section on their menu which many in our party enjoyed. We believe the gentleman who sat us was the owner and he was very helpful in getting us sat quickly for a very large party, even graciously asking a party to move over for us. Even better? Their prices are very affordable. Will definitely be back!

Veggie burger fans - This is where you go to get one of the best veggie burgers in town. I didn't believe it either, their black bean burger with multiple sauces are the best. Also great drinks available till late night. Definitely recommend! Perfect for a date as well ;)

Honestly I had not expectations when I walked in, because I had never heard of it. Im on vacation in the area and it looked cool from the outside and boy am I glad I walked in. I had a Taylor ham, egg and cheese burger and it blew me away. Hands down the best burger I've had in years. If you like burgers Try this place and you won't be disappointed. I know this review might seem fishy because it's such a glowing review, but I'm a bit tipsy and I feel like being a bit extravagant.

Perfect size place for an intimate drink and grub w. Your partner or just an after work hangout. Burgers and apps were delicious, staff as attentive and knowledgeable. We were so pleased we went back the next night. Only downside is its only street parking so you have to have patience and/or not be on a schedule or have something planned for after.

There are many delicious burger options with creative names. I custom ordered my burger with the higher quality meat and added avocado. We had the Mac n cheese balls as an appetizer. The service was good and the food came quickly. I would definitely recommend and I will be returning.

Excellent service. Very attentive without being intrusive. The food was delivered hot and pretty quick. The burger and fries weren't any different than other burger bar type joints, but these were well executed. The friends enjoyed the fried pickles. We all enjoyed the chicken tenders appetizer. I wish you could get a fried chicken breast burger tho. They only grill the breasts.

The food is in very little quantity, yet very expensive. They automatically add the gratuities. In some restaurnats it works like that, however they add 18% gratuity!!!!!!!!! AND THE NATIONAL GRATUITY PERCENT IS ONLY 12%. And I went with my group of 6 friends and we asked for seperate bills and they couldnt even do that.

Stopped in here after going to Liberty State Park, great burgers at good prices. A lot of options being they let you make your own if you don't like what is on the menu. The house blend beef is a good mix of brisket, short rib and chuck making it a great tasting burger. They have a well stocked bar and daily specials. I would definitely visit again.

My $10 dry aged beef burger was alright, not much to talk about. Burger was cooked really good but didn't have any flavor, bun wasn't good as well. French fries were really good. Kid hotdog with fries were $12 - that's a joke. Unfortunetly, with mediocre burger, 3* is the max they can get.

My only reason to come Jersey City. The amazing food (my hubby fell in love w Ghostface Killah burger) the portions are perfect and super tasty. The hand cut French Fries. Now the drinks absolutely delicious and affordable. The service staff are great too. My #1 reason to go to Jersey City hands down 1 request from my 9 year old son- please offer chocolate ice cream.

They have a unique selection of burgers here and a good selection of specialty cocktails. They have Coke products and seems to be a favorite of the locals as well. The inside was very clean and service was great. For 5 of us which also included the tip and 3 alcoholic drinks the bill was $122. Other than one of our orders being left off and having to wait for that , everything else was great.

The Burger was better than I expected. The beef was good quality and the medium rare was quite close to perfect. The portion was spot on, two of us split it happily. It was substantial but you could get your teeth around it, and it never fell apart. The truffle fries were satisfying, but in light of the burger they didn't attract much attention.

Do not go to this place! It is not worth your time and money. We have been there twice, and both times we were served semiwarm-to-cold french fries. Burgers were barely warm as well. Today I ordered hot chicken wings. What could be simpler to make than chicken wings with tasty sauce? I dare to say it was the most disgusting serving of chicken wings in my entire life. It was too sour and too hot as if someone marinated it in a cheap souse from a convenient store on the corner. I refused to eat them and sent them back to the kitchen. You could get a better meal in McDonalds than in Left Bank Burger.

Amazing place. One of the best places to get a burger done right and exactly how you want it! You start off with the meat; house blend, lamb or aged beef and then you add on to you hearts content. I suggest you always build you own burger. Decent Mac and cheese. Decent nacos. They always have beer n shot specials. I've been going for years and I've only had one bad experience it a server. If you sit outside in the summer they are definitely dog friendly. They have dog water bowls available! They used to make fresh pork skins but they stopped. Always ask for some bank sauce on the side and take advantage of their garlic Mayo. I always suggest this place when in Jersey City.

This simple burger joint is anything but simple. Their celebration of The Boilermaker is quite refreshing while bars mindlessly serve sweet and syrupy umbrella drinks. I had the burger with the pulled pork Amy had the burger with the Gouda cheese. Both were done excellently and spectacularly combination of taste. We had a side of the onion rings which were large and crispy. Dessert we had the fried honey bun with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. I could see this becoming regular stop on our culinary experience.

Ok I had some food delivered and it was gross the top bun on the Garden state burger was hard the bottom bun was soggy the burger itself was overly cooked I took one bite and had to throw it away the fries was hard looked like it was old. I will never eat from here again

I've been to left bank twice, both times I've really enjoyed their burgers. I've had one special and one build your own. The special was a champion which was a French dip burger. It was so juicy and flavorful. Some of the menu items sound a bit much and definitely can't eat them all the time, but they sure are a nice treat!

Delicious burger! The classic burger is just $10 but I really enjoy the slightly spicier with Gouda and ghost pepper sauce Ghostface Killer burger. Option for a kale caesar side salad is much better than the usual iceberg lettuce too!
