I have just recently found this place and had the pleasure of trying their Mango Bubble tea, you have the option of choosing almond milk,regular, or water to mix with your drink. I tried mine with almond milk and i wish it was bigger! Although its a bit pricey $6. I personally think it was worth it. Will go and try out their huge amount of different soups! cant wait.

Delicious Korean dishes made with fresh, vibrant, authentic ingredients served by a friendly staff. BUT ... all containers are for "take out", including those used to serve food in-house (so be prepared for lots & lots of plastic). Seating options are limited & aside from the original sushi counter, there is one regular table & one cocktail table (both were unclean). I really wanted to give Kimchi Mama 5 stars, especially because it is a woman-owed business. Perhaps things will improve with time. For now, the food is terrific & best for take-out. I remain hopeful ... the owner is a winner!

Amazing food. No delivery to my area, so o had to order takeout, but it was worth it. Very clean place, friendly staff, and cute takeout containers. Don't expect traditional, sophisticated Korean food; it's more like Korean takeout (amazing, but not fancy). I will gladly return agaim, and the people I have recommended it to raved about it for days.

I have never eaten at a place and envisioned it on the cover of a magazine. The customer service was amazing. I was shocked with how great my experience was. I still am. That goes without mentioning the quality of their food. It was so we'll prepared, seasoned, and just plain delisous. It was so different from what I am used to that I literally tasted things that I don't know if I have before and don't know if I can describe how good it was. It was amazing. So, fair warning... Once you eat here everywhere else will seem just plain boring.

Food was really good. A little expensive for what you get but it's fresh and flavorful. We drove 45 mins to get here not realizing that it's definitely more of a takeout place. They only have 1 table but we sat down and ate and the service was excellent.

Called to place order so that it would ready when I got there. When I arrived, no one could find the order. So, I placed the order at the register. Waited 30 minutes in the freezing waiting area. Was then told the cook just realized the order and was starting to cook it now. Canceled my order and left. This was not anywhere close to rush hour which is why I’m going to give them a straight 1 star. Wasted my time.

Great Korean BBQ. The wings are delicious too! Order for take out but you can also dine in at a few small tables. You can order ahead and pick up or order and wait. Food preparation is generally pretty quick. The food is great with delcious tastes and large portions. It is easiest to park across the street in the lot behind the bank.

This is by far the most outstanding Korean food ever!. Kimchi stew with dumplings, Japchae-(Glass noodles) to die for. The Chef and the staff are very attentive to every detail.

We had the most amazing meal and experience at Kimchi Mama. Not only was the food beautiful, healthy, and delicious, but Kimchi Mama and her husband were the kindest, most generous people. They gave us water bottles because it was so hot out, and a personal tutorial on how to propoerly mix and eat the Bibimbop. We loved every bite. All four of us were so impressed by the food, and cannot wait to come back. Highly recommend!!

I order from Kimchi Mama at least twice a month when I need a delicious pick me up. My go to menu item is the Bulgogi Cup Bop which is a smaller version of the Bulgogi meal. I'm not great with spicy foods and they're very accommodating and will omit the spicy sauces for me. If you do like spicy food though this place is perfect for you.

Delicious food for a very reasonable price! They have a little bit of everything (check yelp out). Very small though, only 1 table sitting. It seems mostly for takeout, but it has a great homey feeling. Would definitely come back if around the area.

Pretty solid first experience with Kimchi Mama. Since I heard that Fair Lawn got it's first Korean restaurant several months ago, I have been really excited to try it, especially since it has such great reviews. I wanted to start out with something small-ish for lunch so I decided to go with the Kko Kko-Bop from the Cupbop menu. I guess if I had to describe the size of the container I'd say it's closest to the large cups that you would get at a froyo place. There are five options for spice level ranging from "Not Spicy" to "Very Spicy" and I chose the second from the last. Definitely a great choice, I'm not sure I would have been able to enjoy "Very Spicy". For just a dollar extra you can add a dumpling on top of your cup but unfortunately they forgot to add my dumpling and it was too late by the time I got home and noticed it. Anyways, it's all good; the food was more than enough as it was. It comes with a small cup of kimchi and bean sprouts as well. There is rice on the bottom of the chicken. The restaurant itself is pretty much purely takeout. There is one small table but I would assume that's mostly used by people as they wait for their food. As I said before, good first impression and I look forward to coming back and trying more things on the menu.

It looked great, but the chicken wings were dry, not fresh, and niether were the dumplings. The kimchi smelled wonderful, after tasting all, I was stomach sick for a few days..... Tried the kimchi again...... stomach sick again. Sorry kimchi Mama, we tried.

I just had a very enjoyable lunch from here! Everything was really good. I was able to enjoy it though because of apparently they honored a newbie clerical error that accepted a delivery order of $11 when apparently their present delivery minimum is a whopping $20 (let's be fair - who would expect that?). That's pretty outrageous and well above the common $10 or $12 minimum of the vast majority of their competitors (any suggestions otherwise are hilarious), leading me to believe that they're not really looking to have a very active delivery aspect in their business, therefore I've excluded that from being reflected in my rating. Food is very good, service is very good, and the newbie rocked. However, that high minimum must cost them a fair amount of potential delivery business, and revenue is revenue. Price-wise they have reasonable options on their menu as well, so it's not like hitting that $20 is just about unavoidable anyway. You can have a very nice, affordable meal here, and their food is really quite good. Hopefully they'll decide to lower their delivery minimum to something that matches their competitors, I would be a regular customer if they did, and I doubt that I'm the only one.

Food good. Value good. Wait time...not good. First visit waited twenty minutes after the given ready time as order was placed on line about an hour before scheduled pick up time. Second visit again order was placed on line over an hour before scheduled pick up time. When I got there I was told it would be another twenty minutes. To their credit they did get it done quickly. It was more like fifteen additional minutes. Just not understanding the disconnect but I am not liking the pattern here. The food is really good though. I have another place in mind for my next Korean food craving.

Just got lunch here while working in the area and it is really great!! I wanted something fresh and healthy and found this quaint place on a Google search. I never really eat korean food but it tastes good to me! Everything is really fresh and they can make alterations to the dishes to your liking. I love how colorful all the foods are! Also, got an almond milk bubble tea which I've never even seen before and that was lovely too.

The food was good. Only one table available for seating 5 people but it is a small location. The kimchi was mildly spicy but nice and cool. The meat portions were pleasantly large for the Korean BBQ. There was about a 10 minute wait for the food but it was worth it.

I was craving Korean bbq and randomly searched for a close by restaurant. Oh boy I was lucky I found a hidden gem in fairlawn. The food is delicious at a cheap price and the man there assisted my very well and informed me about their dishes and etc. The amount of food they serve into each entree is so much I was able to take it for lunch the next day. If you purchase the bowls that they offer make sure you put the red sauce to make it taste even better.

Kimchi Mama really delivers with its flavors both in food and drink options! Awesome bubble tea, handmade and fresh food options make this a standalone competitor. Very small dine-in space really promotes itself to a take out environment, and the food containers are easy even for a large soup order. Definitely recommended if you're looking to try a new Korean place on the go.

I got the marinated beef bowl (bibimbap) and seafood pancake; both had really fresh ingredients and both super delicious! The orders come with a small miso soup and kimchi on the side. The owner (I think) is super polite and friendly, and is also the cook. Food is served quick given that its cooked fresh. Will recommend to anyone! Love this little place.

Honestly was skeptical of this spot and should have went with my gut, ordered two of the Korean bbq specials as we sat and waited we were served two miso soups not even two spoons later and a big hair swimming in the soup. Everytime I have ordered from this place there's always a problem.... specifically the bubble teas it's almost like a joke. One time I called they said they ran out of milk lol one time they ran out of bubbles told me when I got here other time they ran out of tai flavor....other time they made it with almond milk when I asked for regular...I really don't understand it and it just rnds up being really frustrating when Everytime you order you have to wait for an issue lol. The bubble tea tastes good but then I almost have to add alcohol to it to eliminate the frustration of the ordering process...

So quaint and cute and homy. The chef is so humble and the staff is so kind and helpful. Me and my sisters went and the food was amazing!!! We got so full but we wanted to keep eating so bad hahaha We are definitely going back. If you are boogie then I definitely don't recommend. but if you're into mom and pop, intimate places to eat with staff that treats you like family, definitely go try it!!!
