The bar tenders here are so sweet and friendly. Great location in the heart of Wilwood only one block from the beach. If you are in the area I definitely recomend checking them out! They also have an interesting greek style menu! They offer indoor and outdoor seating.

Love the look and overall feel of the place, but felt like they were still working out some kinks. Waitress wasn't real knowledgeable about the available beer and wine. Enjoyed the tomato bisque soup, but the accompanying Italiano sandwich (eggplant, peppers, etc.) was swimming in oil. Would give it another try, but was expecting just a bit more polish from this place.

I wish I could give this 5 stars, but it's just a little too expensive for my taste BUT it's probably one of the cheapest dining places on the beach where you can get seafood. Our waitress was very friendly & sweet and our food was really good. My meal was very expensive for being just shrimp, but I know you can't get cheap shrimp by the beach! The decor is beautiful as well. Oh and it's a little more casual than a lot of the fancy places but you still get a nice experience. Very good place to go and get a nice meal!

Jersey Girl! I'm a Jersey Girl, so you just gotta try a place like this... ; ) We went this evening with a group of six of us and one of the children was celebrating his 15th birthday [yes, this exact day!]. We made reservations in the morning for 8p and ended up being late due to our own tardiness and then had to leave the parking lot and come back because I forgot my wallet [argh!], but called both times to inform them. They were great about it, thank goodness, because I did not want our lateness to ruin our evening. Paul, who mans the parking lot across the street, is super funny and awesome. Great guy and a character. Part of the charm of Wildwood and our shore vacation... ; ) Good prices in that lot for after hours [9p+] if not going to Jersey Girl and, since it's only (2) blocks from the Boardwalk, good place to park! We were seated right away when we did arrive since they were good enough to hold our table, even though we were there about a half hour late! Our server Stephanie was a consummate professional and attentive. The food was divine and the presentation was everything. Enjoyed the crab dip for appetizer, three of us had stuffed shrimp, I had the blackened shrimp and scallop risotto and other two children had a child's menu cheeseburger and a regular cheddar burger. They were so sweet to provide a mud pie on the house for the birthday boy and came out with a candle on it and we all sang of course. It was a lovely surprise. All of us ordered dessert after that... key lime cheesecake, bread pudding, and chocolate torte with vanilla ice cream. Wow and yum! We all enjoyed everything we ordered and even one of the children commented they would love to come here again. Easy parking validation. Delicious and delectable. Portions were perfect. Lovely ambiance, great service, excellent food. Nothing more is needed. ; )

This place is awesome from A to Z, the bread is the best and the only one ever eaten in the US (from a French guy), the 3 of us had to share our plates as it was Sooo delicious!! The place would require a renovation, the decor is dated and it is not very hygienic to put a carpet in a dining room. They have a terrace, but there is no protection for the sun. The singer has a lamentable voice and always sings in the same tone with always the same guitar chord and the volume is too loud which makes dinner unpleasant. (Original) La salade au César au poulet est étonnamment bonne et le cappuccino était bon aussi. L'endroit nécessiterait une rénovation, le décor est vieillot et ce n'est pas très hygiénique de mettre un tapis dans une salle à manger. Ils ont une terrasse, mais il n'y aucune protection pour le soleil. Le chanteur a une voix lamentable et chante toujours sur le même ton avec toujours le même accord de guitare et le volume est trop fort ce qui rend le souper désagréable.

There is a reason this place has a five star review. They earn it. I was able to call ahead a get a table, I was promptly seated. Greeted right away by my server, and ordered drinks. The bartender that night was my ONLY SLIGHT ISSUE. My long Island ice tea were not to my taste. No big deal.. we were served our bread. Then the manager approaches us asking what we had ordered, because she felt it was taking a little too long (I didn't feel like we waited long) and checked on our foods eta, point being that she was on top of it and I appreciate her concern. Food arrives and it's TO DIE FOR. Probably the best strip I've ever had. What a great meal. What a great way to spend a night on vacation.

I came for a weekend with the family and we decided to try this place out ....I ordered the NY “ dirty “ strip steak with rice . The food was delicious . I also tried the chicken kebab. It’s a little pricey but it’s def worth the price . I saw someone Mac & cheese from afar so I’m def ordering it next time I come.

Loved it here! My wife, 2 year old son, and I went and had a little mishap when we sat down. Our son knocked over the tall menu and it knocked over the oil bottle for the bread. The bottle broke and oil went everywhere! The staff was quick to respond, and cleaned everything up. Our server was actually someone that greeted us outside and talked with us some while we waited for the restaurant to open. He was very friendly and provided excellent service when we eventually got situated. The menu was a little pricey, but restaurant was higher end, so it was to be expected. The food was excellent and plating was elegant. Everything came out as ordered and the presentation of even the kids meal was a surprise! This is definitely a must visit if you're looking for an upscale dining experience.

Wow. Ok so let me preface this.... I'm going to guess that to 90% of the reviewers, Olive Garden is Italian Food. Because this place was a joke. I'm quite a fan of good food, whether high-end or small local places. I love diners, personally. I really enjoy non-pretentious basic food with good ingredients and love evident in the preparation. This place has none of those qualities. We were seated quickly, that was nice and that brings me to the high point and the one positive I really have to say about this place. The wicker chairs outside were VERY comfortable. After that, things fall apart a little. We were greeted by our server who made it a point (obviously she was required to) to tell us the restaurant was Greek-owned and would feature much mediterranean cuisine. While that might have been evident in the tampenade/hummus we got for free with bread (and the STAR of the night as far as food goes).. it felt very forced and was unfortunately NOT reflected in the menu. In fact, the traditional dish (shrimp saganaki) that I ordered wasn't served correctly and was... well... let me tell you a story. My mother's spanish rice. It was tomato sauce over white rice... with hot dogs cut up in it. Their saganaki felt basically like someone of my mom's skill level (she was an amazing woman and talented artist... but cooking was not her strong point) was trying to make a beef wellington for the royals. It was a shell of a dish... no real flavor and the ingredients felt like they were combined hastily, from CISCO-grade food-service supplies. It was, quite plainly and simply, a mess. My wife actually left an oyster on her plate. My wife DOES NOT PASS UP RAW OYSTERS. EVER. PERIOD. Her dish was just about the same as mine. A good dinner (especially for $30+ a plate) should inspire. It should lift the spirit and should impart joy.... her crabcakes (for $25) were thickly breaded and worthy of a $10 plate at a diner. NOT AT A HIGH-END RESTAURANT. This place is a diner in a tuxedo. ... the food there will fill you up. But you're not going to be smiling much. It's just sad, the place is pretty... sort of... in a dumping-money-into-a-bad-designer sort of way.... ... then the service. The waitress literally spilled the extra from her drink tray ON MY LAP... WHILE I WATCHED... AND DID NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE. The hostess (whose stick was literally protruding from her posterior) reached between us while we were TALKING to light a candle on the table, then left it between us in the way of our food, without asking if we wanted it lit. So. Just like the Riviera where we stayed, this was just another dump masquerading as a high-end spot. Nothing inspired, nothing delicious, nothing outstanding. Very disappointed, will NOT return. If you value decent food and decent prices (even for a shore spot like wildwood where EVERYTHING is overpriced) then try the Dogtooth. If you're just a couple and don't want to wait (the place is packed 24-7) just walk in to the bar and check, there are always stools open! To be honest tho... Wildwood is a rip-off, unless you're down for beach and little else. The beaches are huge and free.... but be warned. They're half a mile from the boardwalk!

Fantastic food! Quick service, more fine dining then normal at the shore. Burrata was creamy, oysters were fresh, salmon was delicious and both my 2 year old daughters filet (they have a kids version) and my husbands filet were cooked to perfection. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone.

Quick: what does the phrase "Jersey Girl" conjure for you? Not to knock girls who are from New Jersey, but I don't think the name fits the tone they're shooting for at this establishment. This is your 'nice' dinner out at Wildwood: cloth napkins, water goblets and prices to match. The food is not drowning in cheese and/or grease. It might even be a little bit healthy. I believe they'd like to be considered fine dining. Well, everything is relative, isn't it? I'm not exactly sure how to rate them: they're not quite 3 stars and neither are they really worth 4. Call this 3.5 and I'll round it up because I'm feeling magnanimous. They do treat you pretty nicely and take reservations. If you're tired of the same-old, same-old, give them a visit.

*Fine Dining* Food was delicious and drinks were awesome. The staff was very nice. Highly recommend this place if your in wildwood. Prices can be a bit high but it's worth it. Though I didn't take my kids with me but I seen some of the dishes passing by for kids,not my ideal of meal for a kid even though it looked pretty awesome (a box of popcorn and popcorn chicken lovely presentation). Overall everything was great worth the money and environment.

Service was terrible! We waited 30 minutes before anyone would THINK about taking our order. We flagged down a person and asked if we'd ever get service. Waited another 5 minutes and had to flag another person down! Finally she came to take our order, so I thought. Instead, she only wanted to take our drink orders. She took everyone's order except mine! "Will that be all", uh no! Then we waited 10 minutes or so for the drinks. By this point, some of our party members left because they were disgusted. Had to tell our waitress to forget their drinks but asked where mine was. At this point, we wanted to order so I asked if she could just take our order. Her response, "well do you want your drink or not because that's where I was going, or do you want to wait on that and place your order" (she said this in a VERY rude manner). I just had her leave to get my drink because I was so upset by that comment. Another 10 minutes goes by (only ordered a glass of wine), finally get my drink. We finally got to order our food. I asked for more bread and that took some time to finally come out. While doing all of this waiting, I needed more water. I couldn't ask my server because she wasn't around, but there was a bus boy (guy) that was standing around holding up the wall! It's a real shame because the food was very good; however, it was on the pricey side considering street side restaurant (no magical bayside seating or Oceanview or anything like that to warrant those prices). After we ate and while I was waiting for our check, I got even more upset because I heard another server listing extra food specials! We were NEVER told about any specials! They even had a special on a glass of red wine that night. I was NOT told! I get they were understaffed, but I see it as a poorly managed restaurant. We will never be going back here, sorry.

The atmosphere was beautiful and peaceful. The decor was nice. The waitress, Gabby was so nice polite and very attentive as well as the other waitresses and waiters. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the shrimp scampi with linguini and it was absolutely delicious and the ceaser salad with chicken also absolutely delicious. Had an absolutely wonderful classy experience eating here today on our wedding anniversary. The food and atmosphere left nothing to be desired! Everything was presented with pizzazz. Each ingredient tasted perfectly! We asked our waitress which items were her favorite and she was happy to help us We took a recommendation for the watermelon and feta cheese salad It was surprisingly out of this world ! I posted a picture of it because it was beyond belief We got the lamb chop lollipops for an appetizer and the only word I can say is perfection . Everything we tasted we expected so so but was amazing. This restaurant was the high point of our visit to Wildwood

very good ambience.. we were given a high table outside, with a good view of the road. Our server was superb, and we ended up chatting quite a bit. The food, as far as the quality goes, is very reasonably priced. we ordered a calamari salad and it arrived in a generous amount. also ordered oven roasted Ribs, and they were soooo yummy, without any grease or sauces..they have a pretty decent drinks menu as well, with 4-6 beers on draft. very good food, good place.

My wife and I arrived with no reservation around 18h00 on monday July 16th 2018. We were greeted with smiles, in a very pleasant, cozy atmosphere and seated almost immediately at a nice table. Staff was very courteous, polite and helpful. The food was EXCELLENT! I had the surf and turf (filet mignon, cooked perfectly and tasty lobster tail). My wife and the calamari salad which was, according to her, among the best she's had in her life! Highly recommended.

We've been coming to Wildwood for over 20 years. We like to try new places. The Jersey Girl staff was very accommodating providing a reservation and a place for us to park our double stroller. However the food was okay and expensive. When I pay $28 for a scallop and pork dinner I expect to be wowed and we were not. Both meats were over cooked. Both my father and husband got the same meal and felt the same way. My son, mother, and I enjoyed our crab cake sandwich, burger, and shrimp salad but again did not feel the quality matched the price. The $10 kids meal of popcorn and chicken came out with half of the chicken double fried or reused (meaning it was fried once then fried again) therefore the "new" chicken had a different color than the refried chicken. The manager made it right by taking care of the meal and getting my toddler a new meal. The service was okay but again not close to the price of the food. Drinks were not refilled quickly and it took awhile for our waitress to check in on us. We will not be dining here again next year.

Our waitress was awesome and the food was amazing! Really good drinks too! Cute little place. We didn't have a reservation, but they were still able to seat us. We hadn't been here before. Maybe you should call ahead just to be sure? This girl arrived while we were there with her keyboard and she was singing a bunch of songs we liked. She was really good. Highly recommend and we will definitely be going back again.
