Friendly staffs, yummy yummy!
This place has changed. Most drinks are far more expensive and the food is mediocre.
Mentaiko Seafood Udon is great!
Love this bar, they have the best people working here
Great place to meet up for drinks and food!
The food was nice
Great bar and lovely staff. In my last 2 trips to NY I came here and never got disappointed!
I love this place so much. The food is delectable and the atmosphere is always so welcoming. Anytime I have friends come in town, I bring them here.
chillest bar in ktown
The other review said THE best happy hour. I kinda agree and I am still eating their $1 wing deal. ** Just eat another wing. :) They apparently have a $1 oyster night on Thursday only and you can see that on Yelp. The wing is like a 40% off deal compare with their regular price. Also beer for 5 and a bucket deal. You can look at the image but I have to write these so I can get a longer review. Not like you guys read them always. Five star ftw. I am here for happy hour like 5 to 7. Why at 7!!! I only got 30 minutes to eat wings after work which is annoying. Mention their wings a few times, they are pretty good. I compare them with bonchon or even better because my wings come on a real plate and not in a box. Beer selection is limited to 5 and my favorite is the Korean beer. I am terrible at names. Why not just call them a b c. So much easier. Anyway service is wonderful because I am like the fifth person here with 3 wait staff. Bar is empty beside me. Therefore service is five star. Drink flows pretty fast and you should ask to try all of them. The only chance to score free beer at a bar of course but might come off as annoying. I ordered wings and took about 15 minutes. Keep up the good work. Please stay away from my new hh stop.
Highly recommend the Kimchi stew!!
Great drinking place
Great bar with amazing happy hour deals, soju, and friendly staff. A must try in Korea Town!
Fun place to go. I went there on a Sunday night with some friends for gay night. It's a nice, down-to-earth venue with good food and drinks, and they were doing a lively drag show that night that I enjoyed. Definitely plan on returning with friends. Definitely check it out if you're looking for an LGBT friendly bar to chill.
(Translated by Google) A very Korean atmosphere Here's a really good punch. It was really too tasty! Your boss is Korean too! (Original) 굉장히 한국적인 분위기 여기서 주먹고기 진짜 맛있어요 진짜 너무너무 맛있었음! 사장님도 한국분이신데 짱짱 친절하세요!!!
The food was amazing. I really enjoyed the food. The only thing lacking was the wait time. Our waiter never came to us and asked if we were fine or if we needed anything. We had to stop them while they were walking pass for anything that we needed because they never stopped by themselves the whole hour and a half we were there.
Killer wings! Kimchi fried rice with cheese is spectacular!
They used to do amazing sliders a couple of years ago... Which is what made us return, however, they've been taken off the menu
I was in NYC for the weekend and spent sat night with a good friend in this place. Very laid back and chill. We where able to chat as there was less noise in the bar area
Decent pocha, and the drink specials are good during happy hour. The food was decent but there are better options in ktown
quick and polite service on a Saturday night while we waited for a table at a restaurant next door. the cocktail was pricey but it was really good.
Neat and good taste. Lunch combo is best value!
Superb service the hostess took our order before being seated so by the time we sat down we had our order ready to go.
돈까스가 넘 맛있어요..ㅎㅎ
This place is beautifully decorated with a great staff and selection of soju...the bartender Asia is the best...very attentive and knowledgeable....i have come back and felt the same way each time...not to mention the seafood topoekki is Amazinggg!!
It's ok. Girls are cute & food is ok.
Came here with a large group for happy hour. Staff was very accomodating. And the food was delicious!
Friendly and enjoyable a definitely a go back When I visit NYC
There is a catch behind the offer on Thursdays night, supposedly is 0.25 wings, but what they don't mentioned is that you need to buy a pitcher of beer to get the deal, I thought that the pitcher would be a normal price, but not!!! The Pitcher costs 27 dollars, that is too expensive and is not really worth it, but is not only the facts that you have to pay 27 dollars, is that the wings are not good. They have too much flour, and have no taste. The Server are pretty good. PS. Deal from Sunday though Wednesdays is better, you can get their chicken and unlimited beer until 9PM. This I can recommend.
Great place to hang out with friends in the heart of Ktwon. Wasn’t so crowded on Saturday evening.
Food was good enough, l the service friendly. But, man, the space is tight....
The "lavender" was delicious and service was good.
Just yes. Just do it.
Good DJs and a place to watch sports. They have some good selection of bourbon and whisky. Thurs. to Sat is the hot spot in Koreatown.
Cool 2nd level K-town bar. Great cocktails!
Everytime I come here there's an issue with the bill (being overcharged). Do not believe any of their signage about happy hours or deals because they r never up to date. Sign says all u can eat and drink deal til midnight - it ends at 8pm though. Their buffalo wings r too salty and too sauced up, their normal fried chicken is good.
Good but expensive
Really good bar! しょっときぼんぬ
This place is amazing!. Great food, atmosphere and the staff is friendly!. I went last Saturday with some friends and we all had a great time. Highly recommend!.
Great place to hangout and eat korean finger food. Love their seafood dukbokki. Nice friendly service.
Good service and food!
The drinks are nice, and the servers are better. Okuuuur
Cool place to hang out late night like 3am!
Nice quaint place, good food and drinks. Open until 2AM.
Came here with a friend for their budaejigae because its my favorite here - they add everything including beans and pasta bows inside. Their drinks are not bad either .. ordered the grapefruit in from their cocktails list though because most popular but tasted more of the juice than the alcohol. But they do have a happy hour menu that ends at 7pm. Which includes $1 wings!! Either soy garlic or spicy and it was actually really good. Would definitely come back here for their wings and budaejigae. I also ordered this kimchi bulgogi fries - I guess it came just as it sounds but... The fries weren't crispy enough and is a big soggy for the ones in the middle so I was just ok with it. Either way this place is great for after work chilling with friends, just make sure to come before 7pm because as part of the happy hour menu - you get 20% off all of the food menu items on their original menu!
(Translated by Google) Pork cuts are really reasonable and delicious compared to other menus! Recommended (Original) 돈까스가 다른 메뉴랑 비교해서 가격대비 진짜 합리적이고 맛있어요! 추천합니당
Not the best Korean food, not the worst Korean food, but it is a good place to unwind after work because it is slightly off the beaten path. If you want a quiet place to have a conversation with friends and not worry about crowds, this is the place to be. They have a good happy hour for beer, and their cocktails are excellent. This is definitely a place I will frequent when I'm in K-Town
Great beer, nice service, atmosphere
Vibe and prices were great!
Decent little bar
Best Army Stew in Ktown, seriously.
Great food and cocktails, decent happy hour. Usually not super crowded on weeknights!
the food was great so was the service
Korean Fried Chicken in K-Town. Awesome.
Cool chik ktown bar. Good music.
Best foood. Esp. The dduk boki, budae jjigae annnnd mini burgers, pizza mmm their all so goood! And great staffs!!!
On a quiet early weekday, I can play darts here. It's also one of my go to places for a quick drink during the early hours. If you're sitting at the tables, there are TV's so you can watch some games while grabbing some comfort food. It can get busy at times, which is never a bad thing, but I still somehow end up here at least once every time I'm in the area.
Came here with my colleagues. After drinking and eating the security guard came up to us and claimed we’re too loud. We weren’t overly loud and yet they were demanding we lower our tone. We did and he and a bunch of employees came up to us demanding we leave. After paying the check the fat security guard starting throwing punches at my colleague when all he was doing was trying to calm the aggressive guy down. The security guard is out of control and deserves to be in jail. I will never go here again. I’m filing a civil lawsuit against them for their actions!! And guess what I’m a lawyer so have fun spending thousands on a lawyer management!!
Food was great, and service was really nice compared to other Korean bars. I wish they serve Makolli with korean pancakes. Try Bulgogi and Donkatu. ---- Please don't bring your kids. This is a bar not a playground. Don't ruin other people's night.
Cool place to hang out
They have typical drink menu and Korean food that goes along well with drinks.
This place is decent. It isn't the best place to eat dinner, but if it's late at night and you want some soju or beer, they have great snacks/anjus to drink it with. Their budae jjigae is very good and filling while not being very expensive. We also got seafood spicy ricecake, which was actually superb. It tastes a bit americanized, but if you like cheese, seafood, and rice cake, then its perfect for you. They make it taste really good, and it goes even better with some soju. Come here at night!
Was not overpriced to my knowledge and the service was great
Another crappy NBA Finals game, but another fun time out thanks to WABAR. My friends managed to go early and grab a table in the back area to the right of the entrance and relatively close to the restrooms, so by the time I arrived there were plates of wings and pitchers of beer waiting for me. With a dedicated television and glass partitions separating us from adjacent tables, I really liked the vibe here. Like, leave us alone to yell obscenities at Lebron, kthx. Service really took my wishes to heart, but it might have gone a little too far. Our waitress was most MIA throughout the night, which was annoying at times when we wanted to order additional items and when we tried to get the check. It was pretty packed earlier, so I understand that, but by the end of the night there's no real reason why it would be this difficult to track her down. Anyway, the food was pretty decent. Spicy wings were actually a little spicy, and the soy garlic ones were definitely garlicky. Not all of the wings were consistent in temperature, though. We also got the spicy kimchi pork tofu, which was really solid - pork was tender and they didn't hold back on the spice level. Overall, if I'm trying to watch a game in Ktown in the future, this is where I want to be. WABAR allows you to have a mini-private viewing experience but it still has the background energy you want from a bar. What more can you want besides Cleveland staying ringless?
I frequent this place. I love the food, the staff especially the bouncer
Creamy pasta, meatballs and bugolgi fries were delicious
Nice
I will never come back again. Food is great but service takes forever especially when it isn't even busy there. I went in at 5:10, didn't get to see the food until 5:40 for sweet potato fries. Then we ordered Kim chi fried rice, and that didn't come until 6:10. The place was almost empty since it was at the beginning of service for the night. If it was that long to get food, I can't imagine how long it will take if the place was packed. The kitchen simply can't dish out food fast enough.
Lively and friendly environment! Korean alcoholic drinks and pub food above the even more busy street in Korea Town.. I like to come here for a drink when I'm in the area.
Great bar to hangout. The staffs are super friendly and great food and drinks selections.
My favorite bar in Korea Town
Honestly the BEST bar I went to all weekend. Everyone seems like a friend and everyone tells you what they know. Come here to start the night in the right direction for the night.
Props to their attentive staff and the bartender. That lychee soju cocktail was really good. Too bad I didn't ask for his name, whoever you are
Love the service, drinks, and food. I like how the place look more spacier than before. I would definitely recommend and revisit.
Nice ambience, good drinks. They have everything you would expect from a K-Town bar: snacks, pancakes, Cass and Hite, different flavors of soju. Highly recommend somaek (a bottle of soju poured into a pitcher of beer). The crowd is pretty young (~21 to 29).
Although the music is a little bit noisy, the foods are great!!! Especially hotpot. Moreover, the rice wine cocktail tastes delicious.
So much fun!!! You gotta go!!!
Best place to hang out for Korean food with either friends or dates. I would recommend the fried pork belly or Korean army dishes.
Chicken feet pot is awesome. Must try
My favorite hangout place. Great bar food and excellent drinks at reasonable price
25cent wings but $27 Sam adams pitcher that you must buy in order to get the deal. Wings are not even that good. Their Tuesday special of unlimited rotisserie Korean chicken + tap beer for $20 is much better. The rotisserie chicken is at least crispy and the fries are pretty good. Last time here as I like to enjoy the places but the ambiance here is just dull.
Food portion is very poor comparing to the price. Well, it's a bar, all the foods are just accompanying the spirits. The taste is alright, but all pretty heavy. Price is pretty high. You come here for hanging out for "korean" bar experience (not really unique, just bar + some korean modification of snack food). Not recommended.
Oh my. Ended up here as my friend was late and we lost out reservation at another location. This place is great! The staff are helpful, the aesthetic is nice and the food. I'm writing this a week later and I've though about going back at least 3x since the . It was that good.
Happy hour is great bang for your buck.
I like this charming place, not only just a bar with handsome guys, but their foods also very yummy. I stopped by for my lunch today with some of my friends. It's a nice place.
