Just visited for a Holiday Party and was happy with the location and surroundings offered at this restaurant.The food was fresh and delicious.Service was great and this place gets quite a crowd by 7pm.Will go back and try more dishes.My food was buffet style of what the restaurant serves daily.The pork chops and sliders were great!

My family & I came here while in from out of town for a wedding, and Huntley Tavern was recommended by the bride herself, It was very beautiful inside and out, very friendly staff and the food was very good, but everyone's fav. was the appetizer , Angry Shrimp Spring Rolls, I think the portion is a little small but it was worth a try You wont be disappointed here..thanks for the great service

Pretty decent food and wine list. A little hit or miss on the good, especially at lunch. Recommend more for dinner or for a cocktail at the bar. A little bit out of town so you'll need to drive there.

I had a great night with friends here. I was seated on the porch. I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I ordered the monkfish with curry couscous. The monkfish was amazing....the couscous not so much. I really think that if one is into curry they may enjoy the curried couscous. I’m glad I went beyond my comfort zone by giving the dish a try. The truffle fries were delicious. The table bread was soft and addictive. I tried my friends dish containing seas bass and succotash. I don’t typically eat succotash but this was by no means your typical succotash. There was a sweet element add to the succotash that pair well with the sea bass which made it all quite delightful. Did I mention that there is a lot Witt plenty of parking (at least on a Spring weekday) with a valet parking option. My waitress was knowledgeable, our photographer, patient and provided great service. I was overjoyed about my bread pudding. The lemon flavor was too acidic for a dessert that is meant to be tasty with a touch of sweet. I enjoyed my overall visit. I will definitely return when in the area.

Service slow and always have to ask for things. Food was disappointing too. Always loved their burgers but roll was hard and had to search for the goat cheese. Not the same as in the past. Second time in 3 months and not planning on returning

I called ahead asking if there were vegan options, I was told yes. The waiter just said “ahhh well we can bring you a salad.” I walked out. Don’t deceive me by calling that an option. Past experiences there have always had at least three or four delicious options.

Lovely, upbeat, and packed on a Friday restaurant in Summit, near(ish) the Short Hills mall. I attended a private dinner upstairs and had a grand time. Food was fantastic. And the space itself is warm (think wood finishes and a fireplace. They were valet only, so be sure to have a spot of cash on you and some time at the end of the evening. Reservations for dinner highly recommended.

Very disappointed with Sunday brunch. We were a table of four and two plates looked good, my wife and I ordered the same steak and salad. I thought they forgot the steak but the cubes I thought were croutons were the steak...maybe 3 ounces...$18.99.

Very nice, upscale, restaurant. Great for an intimate dinner or a small group. The food is always fresh and changing. Had one time when the service was lacking but the remaining times have always been great. Would recommend!

Ambiance is great. Drinks are delicious. Food was very disappointing. The vegetarian entree felt thrown together. I got piles of all the leftover veggies with little to no seasoning. Dessert flavors (salty and sweet sundae) were not in correct proportion. Enjoyed the burrata appetizer I shared with my husband, but it was the only thing we shared and we both ended up with stomach issues the next morning. Over hyped and overpriced. Not likely I'll go back.

My wife started with the smoked salmon chowder and we each had salads for lunch. The Huntley Chopped salad is featured in the photo. The portions are large and the quality, on point.

I was really excited to try this place because it's always busy. We were very underwhelmed with the food. The burger I had was tasteless and went uneaten after the first two bites. The burrata salad was fine although uninspired. The atmosphere is nice, the staff is good and the bar is top notch. It's too bad the food didn't measure up.

The wait staff are excellent in both demeanor and attention to detail. portions fall right about the 'just right' area, although it largely depends on the meal selected. Gets a little busy around lunch time with the business crowd, and it can be quite loud at this time.

**Update** Management reached out to me to learn more about our dining experience. They were very receptive, very apologetic and they have welcomed us back. I look forward to dining again at the Huntley Tavern. The management's customer service is five star. Our waitress was MIA. She brought us our drinks and check...we had to flag someone else down to take our order. No one checked in on us while we ate. The filet mignon presentation wasn't anything to write home about. The monkfish was surprisingly good (I wasn't sure if I'd like the way it was prepared) but fish was a bit tough. This is our 3rd time at Huntley and next time we'll spend the extra money and go to Roots. Disappointing.

This restaurant consistently delivers high-quality food, great service and a fun vibe! We enjoyed the spinach dip fritters (two orders of these are never a bad idea). We also loved the fried chicken sandwich served with slaw on a brioche bun. And the rose selection was also nice.

My friends and I had an amazing dinner at Huntley! We ordered the butcher board and burrata as appetizers, both of which were incredible. For dinner I had the blackened salmon and my friend ordered the monkfish, which were again incredible. Our server Kara took excellent care of us, we'll definitely be back to see her!!

A great restaurant, and a great lunch. My fiance and I love the Addams Tavern, so we decided to try it here and were not disappointed. We were seated on the porch, which was beautiful and the perfect temperature on a hot day thanks to a combination of AC, the fans, and the open windows. Our server was friendly and attentive. I went with The Huntley Burger and was glad that I did. It's not just a regular burger - pancetta, crumbled bleu cheese, and grilled onions come together to make this a heaping, satisfying burger. The truffled fries on the side are just an added bonus. Overall, a great meal in a great setting. Next time we're in the area, The Huntley Taverne will remain one of our top options.

A gem. I went for dinner and came back with a friend. Herbie in the bar is the best. Accommodating and mind reader. The food was cooked perfectly. The rolls are made in-house. The butter has an oh so slight kick of spice. The wood burning fireplace invited me in and the food and friends allowed me to stay. It was a cold and rainy night and this place was the perfect spot. It’s so wonderfully decorated too for the Holidays.

The ambiance is excellent all the wait staff and hostess we amazing and the food was delicious. We had the filet mignon, the Huntley Salad, and the Asian Pork chop for dinner and it was all perfectly cooked seasoned and served. They suggested the chocolate mousse pie with a pretzel crust for dessert and they were on point. We will definitely be back.

Food was very good, service was impeccable, including an impromptu dessert for our birthday girl, and ambience was pleasing. Although it was busy and many conversations were taking place we could still hear each other and converse -- I'd like to meet their acoustician! Deducted a star because parking is a pain. There is one way in and out of the parking lot via a one-way street and valet parking is required unless you're lucky enough to find a spot on the street. Negotiating one's entry into or exit from the lot is tricky.

Visited for Father's Day brunch. Beware there are no high chairs (wish the hostess had told us this when we called for reservations, since we mentioned we were bringing two 1 year olds) and the food took forever. The French toast was over cooked, but the omelet was pretty good.

Great service and atmosphere. Came here on a work lunch, had the Head high IPA and 1/2 sandwich 1/2 soup combo of chicken salad and salmon corn chowder. It’s the type of place you could come alone and relax during lunch or have a business meeting. Also a nice bar inside. We sat in the closed in outdoor deck.

Chose this place because of its location and ample parking. Made a reservation and they had the table ready for us even though I was 20 min early. Our server, Georgia was very pleasant and courteous. She learned we were there celebrating Christmas early and brought out an appetizer compliments of the chef to help us celebrate. The oysters were wonderful. The chop salad was a good healthy choice and the crab cakes were excellent. The spicey tuna was also top notch. We loved it.

I went in for brunch today and the service was spectacular. I wasn't entirely pleased with the steak and potato hash as it seemed to have been sitting under a heat lamp for some time. The poached eggs were overcooked, further adding to my theory. The person I was with thoroughly enjoyed their meal so it seems I just had a stroke of bad luck. I would go back to try something else on the menu. Side note: If you enjoy a good bloody mary, I would not recommend it here. Their bloody mary mix is not made in house.

The waitstaff was engaged but not well trained. The caesar salad was so loaded with lemon juice as to be unpalatable. The monkfish was smothered in a pseudo cajun burnt and overspiced concoction. The dessert was very good and nicely presented.

Give shellfish repeatedly to those allergic who ask countless times for vegetarian option. After years, this is the 2nd occasion this happened. Surly bartenders on occasion. Wait staff and managers good. One surly waiter on 12/18, my birthday! I told our waiter that his associate was unpleasant. Waiter said "He's always like that." Well, then, he belongs behind a desk somewhere. By the way, I know whereof I speak: I was an award-winning food server, cocktail waitress, and bartender in upscale cities in Southern CA for 17 years. I also am a neighbor of yours. I've lived here before you came, when it was Uncle Mike's. I can easily walk there and bring friends. Lately I have been too disappointed to do so until my birthday on 12/18, a Monday, and WE HAD RESERVATIONS. No excuse.

have to say i was disappointed today. Usually good fare..had a soggy cesar salad with dried out turkey..that appeared to be cold cut turkey and my fries were cold, seemed likenthey were warmed over. Fancy place. They lose a star for valet parking. It wasn't necessary on a Tuesday evening and I rarely carry cash for a tip. Service was excellent (waiter might need to be a little looser/not so stiff, but that's not a criticism, he was excellent). Food was mostly excellent. Way too much anise in my red cabbage. But if I was seriously concerned I would have said something. Would definitely go back if not for the required valet parking.

Solid date night, will have a party here. Went simple.... harvest salad, crab cake, 2 pizzas, 2 mac & cheese side dishes, 2 desserts. The 2 side dishes were overkill, will reconsider next time

Very nice wine list, with something for every taste and budget. We had shrimp spring rolls for an appetizer. They were good but the shrimp was a bit salty and slightly over cooked. For my entree, I had the day boat scallops. They were amazing! They were cooked and seasoned to perfection. I would definitely eat there again.

Compliments Mac and cheese was dry, tasteless and served a little cold. Based on the reputation, I was disappointed. It hurts me to write a poor review about a local restaurant, but we had been there for brunch previously, and was let down then too! We went back for a second try since we had a gift card.
