BAD!!! This restaurant made me sick. I ordered the cheese cake after dinner. It wasn't very good so I only ate half. I was up all night with a bad stomach ache . The next day I had to take off work and spent the whole day in the bathroom throwing up.The staff was not very friendly, especially the manager with the long blond hair . She is unpleasant and was very under dressed for a manager. She wore thin stretch pants and is very heavy. Her underwear was showing through the pants. A manager should dress more appropriately and welcome patrons better. I was not greeted politely and when I left she was standing right there and did not say thank you or good bye.

I came here with my wife. This was one of the nicest evenings I've had in a long time. The food was second to none and the service was on point. I even had a pleasant conversation with a busboy about David Lynch and our favorite movies. Try the truffle mac and cheese - it's so good. I went traditional with the full rack of ribs, which I shall not be ashamed of. A man needs meat. So soft, they seemed pressure cooked. Almost like pulled pork, but softer. I brought some back home and I shared with the pooch. The wife had some artichoke heart and fish thing. That was also delicious. A very complex and delicate flavor. The atmosphere is dim and romantic but adequate for a family outing. The place is alive with a lot of conversation and the people are nice and cultured. I kept hearing a man that sounded like Jim Jeffreys talk for over 20 minutes about a boating adventure. That added some humor. All in all, it's a 10 from me. If there was any issue whatsoever, I'm sure you'd be taken care of on the spot.

Ultimate Egg Sandwich – Only made on Sundays for Brunch. Fresh ciabatta, sautéed onions and mushrooms, bacon or ham, cheese and two eggs how you want them. Unbelievable.

Lovely waitress and great vibe to sit outside and watch the world pass by. Got the mignon sliders rare with the horseradish sauce. UNREAL! And my other half got the pulled pork sliders and loved them especially with the sweet potato fries. Fell in love with the red wine Cono Sur and slightly with the waitress who although was serving the whole pub and service was a tad slow but she made it. Would highly recommend.

Great ambiance and delicious food. Outdoor, bar, and dining sections. A lovely evening. Very easy to find and they validate parking at a nearby garage (minimum bill $50). Only thing that would make it better was a view of the city from inside.

We love this tavern. Great food and lots of beer on tap. Classic pub interior, dark wood and lots of windows with a very cool bar. We go once or twice a week.

You can truly experience fine dining at it's best right here at the Hudson tavern. Try the white truffle Mac and cheese and the lemon butter sword fish steak... No regrets!!!

Food and atmosphere was really good. Nice vibe overall in the place, especially during the holidays. It does take some tone to get your food-about 45 minutes-but when you get it, it IS quality. Faster service , this rating gets a full 5.

Didn't really interact with the place all that much. I got there around 11:00, ordered a beer or two. Got my drinks quickly and never really had to wait to order. There was a decent amount of people there. It was a nice place to hang out.

The place is a bit dingy, but the bartenders are friendly. The happy hour prices are really good. The food is decent. I personally really like the spinach and artichoke dip, but didn't like how my skirt steak was served sliced up. I prefer to see my steak whole on the plate. This place was more of an after a rough shift stop... to have a couple of beers with coworkers and kick back and chill for a bit.

*HUDSON RESTAURANT WEEK SUMMER 2019 REVIEW* I had been wanting to try Hudson Tavern for a while, so I was really excited when I saw they had a lunch option on the weekend during Hudson Restaurant Week. For $19, you can choose one appetizer and one entree from a set menu. I opted for the lump crab cake on a bed of arugula for the app, and then Seafood Medley Salad of Pan Seared Sea Scallops, Shrimp & Tuna (served on a bed of arugula with wasabi ranch dressing). I know, lots of arugula but I didn't mind. I love arugula anyway. Plus, I didn't want anything too heavy. The crab cake was just okay. It tastes like your typical crab cake that you would buy at Costco. The seafood medley was great though. The seafood tasted fresh, and I really liked the wasabi ranch dressing. My only feedback would be that I wished they put the dressing on the side for both. It was a bit too much. Some of their dinner options sound pretty good, so I think I'd come back to try some out. I believe they used to have dinner specials on certain nights, but I don't see that on their website anymore - so maybe not.

They do have a nice terrace and fresh draft beers. We had burgers and Rubens sandwich, not really impressed. Meat was a bit dry. On a plus side the fries are home made and cooked/salted perfectly.

We like to stop in for the Tuesday night ribs special. The ribs are fall off the bone with a great sauce. On Tuesday nights the bar is pretty quiet and the service is good.

I like the owner...But when he isn't there the staff spend way too much time on their phones. I had to look around a few times to find my server. I would have had at least another round. Ya never get a full beer either. The pull is sloppy and none of the glasses were full. You aren't getting more than 12oz in a "pint" glass. Shrimps on both plates were overcooked. Well done shrimp is not appetizing. For the price of the entrees the kitchen needs to be on top of the temps.

I have been here 2x, once for a beer and then this past Monday for dinner. There needs to be better signage for when you walk in - do you seat yourself or wait to be seated? My friend and I just stood around for awhile with the bartender just looking at us; eventually we just sat down. I thought the food was really good, and it came out quickly. However it was loud (hard to have a conversation), and there seemed to be only one waitress serving the entire place. Granted, it was a Monday, but it took awhile to a) get seated, b) have our order taken, 3) get our check. The waitress was very nice but be prepared to wait.
