The food here is delicious. My favorite is the pork roast sandwich with broccoli rabe and long hots. Pizza is good as well as there entrees. The restaurant is always clean and has outside seating. The owner and workers address extremely friendly. Highly recommend trying out out.

I just ordered 2 antipasta salads for delivery. Before ordering, I asked what was in the antipasta. It sounded authentic, so I placed my order. The total was $22.90. I I thought it seemed pricy, but figured it would be worth it!! Major disappointment! Gennaro's s should be embarrassed to send that poor quality of food on a delivery to a customer! I looked on line to see the menu.... no fresh mozzarella, tid bit bites of provolone, salami and I think there was 1 or 2 small bits of mortadella?!!! Then to add insult to injury, the price for antipasta was $9.00 each. Do the math, $18.00 with 7% sales tax... $19.26! So if a delivery charge was added on, I wan't informed, and definately wouldn't have given a $4.00 tip to the driver!!! Very small salad, with very few ingredients for over the top money! Didn't win me over!! I'll stick with the Pizza place down the road...much more reputable!!!!

Wow what a great restaurant. I had the pork chops and it was fantastic. This was my second time eating here. I don't remember what I ate on my first visit but I remember leaving with a happy taste.

One Saturday my husband and I were seriously craving some pizza. We planned on visiting DeLorenzo's Tomato Pies but discovered that they are not open for lunch on Saturdays. That is where Gennaro's came in!! We visited on a whim and we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant itself is clean and cozy with warm yet modern decor. The salads are very large (the beet salad and cesar salad are great options) and the pizza is great. We have tried the regular and the brooklyn style and enjoyed both very much.

Went there for dinner. The meal was average at best but the noise level was outrageous. People drinking,screaming and kids running around. When we asked the host to ask them to be a little quieter we were ignored. Young mothers drinking out of control then leaving to drive off with young kids. It was like being at a concert you could not hold a conversation with the people at your own table. Since the people there would rather accept this behavior I know four families that will not be returning

Well I went here for lunch today probably around 4pm. Upon entering I could feel this unpleasant vibe. I asked for a cheesesteak. The lady that took my order appeared like she didn't even want to speak to me nor give me any service. I asked where is the dining area. Her response was you're not taking that to go. I asked am I not welcomed to eat here. She ignored my question So I went to have a seat and greeted by more unfriendly staff. I get my steak and of course my order was wrong. If the staff wasn't so stuck up and snobby they may have gotten my order correct. For 12.00 I would expected a better quality sandwich. I had better quality cheesesteaks from a local Bodega that cost 3.00 my whole experience was terrible. I highly recommend you stay clear of this place at all cost.

I ordered a tray of chicken francese for a party at my home and I have to tell you in my 56 years it's the best I've ever had. Didn't need a knife melted in your mouth. More than enough for the amount of people I had. I hope my Italian mother-in-law doesn't see this post.

Great Italian food...Whether you take out pizza or eat in, this place is worth a visit...I had the veal specialty dish, very good and decent portions...the price is reasonable too as our group of 6 ordered three appetizers to go along with our entre...the price was under $35 pp...overall, this restaurant offers excellent daily specials and great tomato pies...Finally a bit of NY bought to Hamilton!...only downside, the servers/busers appeared overwhelmed...our server had to be reminded more frequently than expected.

Excellent entrees in this hidden gem in Hamilton. Tomato pies are on point, and the homemade side chips that come with sandwiches are excellent. A bit pricey but definately worth it. Best in area by far

If you are craving authentic Italian dishes (their eggplant parm is truly out of this world), pasta or pizza to die for (their tomato sauce alone will leave your mouth watering), then look no further. And did I mention their meatballs...impeccable service and an outstanding menu. Do yourself a favor...check out Gennaro’s...take-out or dine in their cozy eating area. You will be in heaven. Went to this restaurant for the first time tonight. Food was fantastic (impressive, actually). Everything tasted delicious. I especially really liked the variety of specials they had to offer. I also enjoyed the decor, style, and ambiance. Not to mention, BYOB is great! The only downside was two major problems: 1. The waitress my party had was too intense and pushy to take our order. We didn't even have a chance to sit down, relax for a few minutes, decompress, socialize a little, and look over the menu before she was suddenly all over us and already on top of us, shoving the list of specials down our throats so quickly before our minds could even catch up and comprehend the information she was feeding us. She also jumped at the opportunity to open both our bottles of wine without asking and before even giving us a chance to decide which bottle we wanted opened. I had to stop her before it was too late. Calm down girl! Pump the breaks! Don't get carried away. Not everyone is in such a hurry and wants to be rushed through their dinner service. You don't need to turn over our table to the next guests that badly. 2. It was extraordinarily hot and humid outside today. We were looking forward to eating inside, where we thought there would be air conditioning to provide us with the relief we needed and a refreshing atmosphere. Well unfortunately, the temperature was just as uncomfortable inside as it was outside because all the windows were open. We inquired why and found out that their air conditioning is broken! Seriously?! On Memorial Day Weekend, which is the beginning of Summer heat?! Temperatures are obviously only going to get worse. So PLEASE do yourselves and your guests a favor by getting your air conditioning fixed ASAP. Customers can't fully enjoy the experience of a meal, while sitting and sweating inside of a sauna. And your kitchen staff were probably in agony as well, so I'm sure they would appreciate a functioning HVAC system. I look forward to going back and eating here again, but hopefully with a different server and only with working AC.
