Quite the terrible place. A bit deceiving, we found this place looking for a buffet online. This one seemed fairly close and the general reviews were decent. Upon first arriving at the restaurant you could instantly see it’s been around for a while, and could use a bit of a facelift. The inside was dark and felt very uncomfortable, it was something out of an old movie. The floors tables and chairs felt old and over used, they needed to be replaced. The lighting was very dark and the carpet was stained and dirty. The food consisted of mainly one main food bar, one half food bar, one salad bar, and one ice creams machine. First plate of food was cold for the most part, found a lot of the food over cooked or inedible. Second plate of food was more “freshly cooked” but a lot was still inedible, which is to be expected coming to a place like this but eventual you find something halfway decent. Overall I rate my experience quite low on a scale of 1/10 your looking at a 2.5. Only thing I found reasonable was the waitress, she was polite and quick to get us refills on drinks, as we were trying to be indiscreet about finishing our meal as quickly as possible. I would say we stayed about 15 minutes max.

The worst customer service experience I had in a long time. The manager is a gentleman at the register was disingenuous is telling me (in perfect English) he would discount the buffet to $10 due to the lateness of the evening. When I went to pay he all a sudden lost his handle of the English language. VERY BAD BUSINESS!!! BTW THE FOOD WAS COLD AND DRIED OUT!!! BIG DISAPPOINTMENT ALL AROUND.

The food is really good for low price and those on a budget. The staff is also very nice and the bathroom is decent. It is also kid-friendly since high chairs are available. Especially amazing when you want to dine with family and friends.

So place was dark and dinghy old school wooden panels. It had no food options and the little they had literally disgusted me. Explain how u can mess up veggies I honestly will not recommend nor ever eat here again. The chicken and broccoli was gross messed up, the shrimp was straight rubber, as I went to the fruit the lady just looked at us and at the table placed the check right in front of us as we were eating the dried cantaloupe with no flavor.. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!

The selection wasn't much. The food ranged from room temp to cold. We went on a Friday at 12pm. The place was dark and the chairs we sat on were in really bad condition. The food selection was ok. I wouldn't go back.

Not very friendly. When asked a question about a dish not out I was snapped at and told, "You need to wait!!" It wasn't my fault greedy people came as soon as they put the first plate out and piled up all on their plate. Yet nothing was said to those people. Bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. When back at our table, one lady made another comment about all the "fish" we had grabbed and now need to pay dinner price, which was what we were paying for. Never refilled our drinks, either. Not happy and will not come back here again and not recommend this place at all.

This place has got to be seriously gutted. A restaurant with failed ceiling panels over prepared food. What moron Health inspector passed this place?! Really, what in the hell where they looking for. You can just see this walking in. Going to the bar to get a large beer order. The beers was handed over and we we given older card board six pack holders with what looks to be mold encrusted green stained growth on the lower part of the package. That's definitely not a good sign. Granted this is suspect and you need a lab report to prove such. The interior truely needs to be, not updated but CLEANED! How do you not appreciate preparing foods and when you eating / seating areas look dirty. Not to realize there are going to be persons looking to question how the food is stored, prepared and cooked. In the era of food borne illness. It is quite a disgrace to have a resturant and not take pride in the entire building inside and out. There is a direct reflection on the business model and how it functions. It is a show case that helps draw people in, what it does is show them the door out. I've read the reviews and figured we would try it. Food was cold. Food was also just plain. I could sense the food comes from pre-prepared boil a bag foods. The same that large institutions buy as it is a huge cost savings. This are my opinions about this palace and my family most certainly won't be back. I hope we do not get sick giving this place a chance. Make you own opinion. But over 300 reviews should tell you a warning is in that somewhere.

Rude. Wish no stars was an option. Would Rather loose money to rent a non rented room because its not 30 people than get 15 people and at least make some money. Especially since the room is needed in 5 days and no one has rented it. But the real issue is that the man hung up on me. I was not rude in any fashion. I called back very calmly and explained that I have patronized his business for 9 years. One of the waitresses knows my family. She is a sweetheart. However, when you serve to our community you have to show the same respect that we show you. How can a store expect the community to buy its good and foods and then turn around and talk so rudely and hang up on them when they are only trying to rent a room. When he hung hung up on me I was in the process of asking about the upstairs back section he was talking about which could take a smaller party, but he hung up on me and in essence lost money not only on the 15 person event, but also on future purchases by my immediate family. Keep in mind yhat we went there for basically every major birthday, date night, don't feel like cooking night, for the last 9 year. Did I mention he hung up on me the second time as well. Now Mr. Owner I am but one small voice but I pray that my message is clear and that you realize how much money you have lost by your rudeness. You have lost my families business. Not because you required 30 people for a room, but because of your rudness to a person that really wanted to do business in either one of the available spaces. Good Luck.

I have been eating here for years, but the mayor complain that I have for his place is: you can’t have crab leg, staff are pending to you and looking at you to see if you’re getting the crab legs. They never have enough for everybody, if you get the crab no body else can’t have it. It’s not like other Buffett that you can have as many as you want!!! The owner is looking at you all the time, even when you’re getting the food. And price don’t wort it

I used to come here before my night class at Kean. it's very convenient if you're a student and you can either walk or drive there. The food is really good. The sushi is alright. Not much variety but still good. The people there are so nice and polite. I miss going there.

I had a party at this place for my husbands academy grad and everyone loved the variety of food, the privacy and the assistance with the party by their hostess who was very nice to us. For about 30 + including children I paid $700. Great place!

Unfortunately, this was not my first time visiting this bufferteria and each visit was worse than the last. Much to my chagrin, I attended a repast at this establishment after a home going service for a lost loved one. Honestly, I don't know why they don't just shut this place down. It's criminal what the owners of this establishment offer to people who book this venue. The place needs a serious overhaul and renovation; to say that it's outdated is an understatement. You would think that the food would at least be decent because it's clear that they're not too concerned with presentation or ambiance; so they have to be putting the revenue towards the food right? But nope, The food was just as horrible! It was salty, tepid and limited in selection. And don't get me started on the drinks! The sodas were just about flat; nothing more than syrup and water. About the only decent thing in this place was the self serve soft serve ice cream maker. Seriously, it's time to shut this place down and resurrect something worthy of the true foodie who loves asian food and a good buffet, because this is a waste of space!

Went here for Mother's Day, It was crowded I don't mind that but the food was not good. there was none at times, all the good stuff will come and go as fast as they put it there it was an awful experience for me and family especially my wifey. I got food poisoning from this restaurant though. The riped plantains was raw in the middle of all of them, Their bathroom had no toilet tissue and I threw up about 10 minutes after leaving the restaurant. They were also dragging their feet when a certain dish was empty on the buffet stand.

One of the worst if not the worst buffet I’ve been to, food was cold, the manager would follow you around while your getting food, they charged us $25 and after only 2 plates they give us our check. I love Chinese buffets but not this one not at all. I would NOT recommend this place unless you don’t care about your health or money.

Ask the waiter for a unsweeter ice tea with lemon, she give me that look, and comeback with a waterit liquit y tasted and recuested to give me 2 tea bag she dint answer but took my glass and comeback with a ice tea very dark and like 5 tea bab in it, and give me that look again, I unthrust her and dnot touch that ice tea, I used to take people from my family church and friens, but now Am going to a much better place at 440 Mall Jersey city. I think that that water in the icetea was from some unnapropiet place

This is your typical Chinese all-you-can-eat buffet. There are many different dishes to choose from and the prices are very reasonable. The food is OK, but the reason to come here is for quantity not quality. I really liked the soft serve ice cream they had for dessert.
