It is a nice Italian place that combines old-world elegance with some hints of modernity. The portions are a reasonable size to leave you satisfied. The employees are professional and polite. The bathrooms are clean and comfortable. The only negative thing I had to say is about the outside of the place. From the outside it doesn't look great and there is not a lot of parking, but let me assure you that when you step inside it feels completely different and quiet as the memories of route 46 and parking next to a dumpster fade away.

I was on a work trip and a co-work took us here. From the outside I was a bit concerned, but once the doors opened, WOW! Very impressive decor. Food was amazing. Service was top notch. Definitely recommend.

Interesting environment and good service provided by all the staff. However, this is absolutely NOT an italian restaurant. The italian dishes that are described on the menu are mashups and combinations of italian names and local recipies. Worst italian food experience I have ever had.

Cool spot on the way to Lake Champion, NY. Their butternut crab gnocci was solid, but I really, really liked their wine list, espresso, dessert tray, .... and, bread/olive oil was unique, crispy and delicious from it's own oven. Extra parmesan. John the bartender is awesome! He also knows his Sangia recipes well!

The food was excellent with lots of different options. Great atmosphere and a superb staff that made us feel like family. My only complaint (for lack of a better word) was the parking but that’s not their fault, most spots are “reserved” for the store next door. Overall this is a great restaurant, will definitely be going again.

Food was actually great but for almost $500 between 2 people, the service was beyond awful. They got a bunch of our orders wrong including a drink order, that, when the waiter took it off the table I could see them drinking it on the way to the back. Everything was super unprofessional from the second we stepped in -from the disinterested hostess to the obviously aggregated servers. It was truly the worst, it was my birthday too (yes, they knew my husband had mentioned it to them)...that just extra sucks. I think they gave me some sad looking half melted ice cream sunday and like 2 or 3 servers unethusastically mumbling and clapping "happy birthday" --it was actually really embarassing! And it was obvious most of the other table were actually receiving normally adequate service...just a really really overall disappointing experience. I guess that's what happens when you dine somewhere that sounds like an gastrointestinal malady.

From out of town and wandered in without a reservation looking like fencing hobos. They had a table they didn't think we'd be thrilled about (right in front of the kitchen) but we were happy to take it. Service was great and food came very fast despite being a busy Saturday night. And the food was delicious.

Awesome food and atmosphere. This is an upscale place to eat or drink, and the prices reflect that. The food and service is worth every penny. Outstanding food and service. Great ambiance inside. Definitely make a reservation. I have a very restrictive diet, and they made my meal exactly as I requested - even offering to create a special sauce for me. We shared the Grilled Calamari appetizer, which they plated for each of us. It was exquisite. Entrees were the Chicken Rollentini (a special) and Canestrelli Provenzale (sea scallops). Both done perfectly with excellent flavor profiles. Service was attentive accommodating, but not overbearing. I live a ways away, but would definitely make a point to go back if I'm in the area again.

Nice cozy Italian Bistro place, reservations not needed, good service, I had the lasagna which was very good, my dining partner had the chef's special seafood risotto which looked good and he liked. We passed on the desserts but they did look good. I imagine when I am in the area again I will return. They also had a bar which looked nice.

I enjoyed the pasta that I got, but I thought that the 20 dollars for the bowl of noodles would include a sauce. No, I was wrong the marinara was another 4 dollars. 24 dollars for noodles and tomato sauce ( no meats) is too much for me. I will plan to go back but not often.

Fast service, great light fare: filet mignon & artichoke hearts salad as well as the broccoli Rabe & Sausage dish. Only problem: very loud. Could barely hear my wife across from me. It's busy, yes. But the acoustics are a nightmare, voices bouncing off the walls and ceiling way too much. Take out from here would be better.

There is no comparison to another restaurant. My husband n I go to a lot of restaurants but all round Eccola's is the best. We have been coming here for years and the wait staff is exceptional along with anything you pick on the menu. There are good eateries but this is tops!

Solid Italian restaurant. Food was excellent. Service was fast and accurate. Some have complained about price, and you can see menu online, but I found it properly priced for the quality. I found parking, but it may be an issue if the restaurant is very busy.

I haven't been there in years, but my experience tonight was as good or better than 10+ years ago. This Italian restaurant is the best around here for good Italian food, awesome service, and atmosphere. It's family owned and managed, and it's been here for 20 something years. They went the extra mile to please us, just two of us. They brought and extra fried calamari appetizers for free. I rarely ever eat fried food but I wasn't going to be an a## so I went for it, well half of the plate, but I have to say the oil must've been very fresh, as I didn't repeat it as I would do anything fried stuff. The salad I got with grilled chicken was excellent. The plates are large so you get satisfied at the end if it. I didn't have any dessert, my firend did and I have to say I was tempted big time. The cakes and all looked amazing. Highly recommended!!

If you haven't been yet then you must go. Food and service is amazing. Looks deceiving from the outside. Looks like a closed down building or part of the store next door. The sign is faded and does not look like they are trying to get business. Once you get inside you will not be disappointed

Had never tried this place before. I was not disappointed. Drinks were good, a little pricey (14 bucks for a pomegranate martini). The risotto was excellent, t he gnocchi with pesto was very good. Would recommend to a friend for sure.

What can I say about this place. Easily accessible right off the RT 46, and an emphasis on fresh ingredients. Owner Nino and his staff show great service and astonishing food. You don't even have to look at the menu after hearing the specials.

Had a really nice meal with friends here. Servers were excellent and everyone enjoyed their meals. The homemade pasta was particularly good. Dessert selections were amazing. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because it was a little pricey. Recommend though.

Drink prices insane! Food mediocre at best. Small portions. Service was terrible! There are so many Italian restaurants I can't imagine why anyone would pick this one! I would never recommend this restaurant. One person took the order, the person that came out with the food and had no idea who got what dish. Dessert order was taken by 3 different people at 3 different times! One server started and took 5 dessert orders and left, another came back and took 2 and left and another took 2 and left. There were 16 people at the table. Needless to say no one got there dessert at the same time! Disappointment!

The food here is below average it tastes like diner food. It does not deserve the 4.5 stars that it has. The only good thing on the menu is the bread. They didn’t even know what balsamic vinegar was because none of the waiters spoke English. Your money is spent better elsewhere.

Place is gross. The meatballs were like lead and the ravolis were tasteless. Had a platter and the food seemed like it was made last year . They overcharged for drinks. The pasta was hard and the sauce like someone tossed up ragu. The salad was like garbage. Would never go back ever.
