This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Indian restaurant.
Went for lunch buffet, it was very good. Variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes to choose from. Food was well cooked and tasty. Not pricey. Will go again
I love Indian food. It's been my favorite cuisine for 30 years. I had take out at Cinnamon twice and the food was so salty it was unpalatable. I would not recommend this to folks who love home cooked or real Indian/Jain food.
Good indian restaurant. Rated top indian place in Morris county for many years. We have tried their buffet as well as their a la care menu. Love the food. Easily accessed from route 10 and there's plenty of parking. Staff are friendly too. They have a party room that can be rented for occasions or private parties. They also cater for private parties.
Excellent Indian food.
No I never eat there
If you enjoy Indian cuisine this is the place
Food is average. For the price lunch buffet is good
If you like good Indian food this is a must. Friendly and helpful staff and great food . Many choices available.
Liked their lunch menu. Reasonably priced, tasty food.
One of the best Indian cuisines to try here.
I am giving one star only for the place because when it comes to food ,dinner buffet is my horrible experience. You can cook better after watching YouTube if you are beginner ....seriously !!
The lunch buffet is amazing. Great food at a great price.
The lunch buffet is a great option if you are short on time. Service is always quick and friendly.
Lots of different varieties of veg and non-veg food. Downside: same appetizers, and desserts. Upside: desserts definitely worth it, gulab jamun and Rasmalai are awesome. Staff is helpful, but needs training on how to reach for glass for refill. Mango lassi was on sour side the last time I was there... Asked for Garlic naan, got regular and garlic...and I hate to waste food.
Bad food... fish was pathetic
Poor servicing, unprofessional staf, Naan was cold I felt they serve leftover from other table. I never come here again.
Best Indian food in Northern Jersey! Amazing masalas.
Best Indian Restaurant I have been too. Love this place! Food is great. Service is great. I will keep going back!
Just now Ordered some Aalu paratha ...it was just sad, seemed they just did not care. The stuffing was little, bread was large and thick, undercooked. Extreme for $5 a pop it was a rip-off. As an Indian I feel ashamed of such food
I really love and enjoy this restaurant. Highly recommend.
Good n tasty
This place was horrible. The staff is rude and not friendly. The service is slow. The food was not good. The rice was undercooked.
Best Indian buffet in North Jersey in my opinion. The food selection is good and they have clearly marked which ones are Gluten-free. Staff is friendly and attentive. Only sad part is that I always come out of this place feeling stuffed!!! Coz I had to try everything! ;)
Tasty buffet at moderate price
Perfect restaurant. Reasonably priced. Good variety of food.
Awesome food. Loved the authentic taste of famous Indian recipes. Cinnamon certainly is among the best Indian Restaurants in New Jersey.
Good Indian food at a reasonable price. I like the variety
its a perfect place for the indian buffet with minimal spicy. good ambience and great service.
I have been to this restaurant for lunch buffet couple of times.food is good.reasonably priced and definitely recommend.
Food was pretty good but some of their food did not taste that good. It had a pretty good service. Overall it was ok of a restaurant so I wouldn’t give it a 5-star
Best Indian buffet in the area
Cinnamon has great food. I recommend ordering off the menu versus the buffet, as the quality is much better and you have the option to order things spicy. However the buffet has good variety and is available all day Sunday.
Really good indian restaurant. One of the beat in the area.
Delicious and authentic Indian food. Naans and Kulchas are delicious accompaniments to Tikka masala and saag paneer and many other delicious entrees.
I ordered a chicken biryani here . It is half cooked . Not a good restaurant . I advice people to stay away from this restaurant . No stars deserved .But gave a star as I could not post my comments with atleast a star.
Variety of different items in Buffet. Good food.
Great food and service. Our go-to Indian restaurant.
Super delicious and awesome service!
Love the lunch buffet here.
An ordinary Indian restaurant serving equally ordinary food. All you can eat approach in other restaurants have a live cooking counter serving dosa etc which wasn't the case here. The non veg menu had way more options than the veg menu. The roti basket was served in the beginning itself when we were just exploring the appetizers. Except one or two dishes rest all was very average. Can skip the place totally!
They don't know how to make chicken kebab roll over naan. I don't know how they run the restuarant. I'm paying for that u can make whatever I want.
It was probably eight or more years since I was last here. The quality of the lunch buffet was no where near what it used to be. Almost all of the food was cold/warm at best. Even the *fresh* naan brought out to my table was barely warm. The tandoori chicken is not the usual red hued yogurt/spice mix you would find at most places and was more like regular chicken wings than traditional tandoori. The chicken tiki masala was luke warm and had almost no chicken nor spice. The paneer/desserts were ok. I guess I've been spoiled eating lunch at Spice Grill near New Road/46 which is closer to my office. The only reason I went to Cinnamon was due to it being closer to home. Won't make that mistake again.
Sunday dinner buffet is a awesome and not pricey. Staff is always making sure everything is good. I find the owner personally tends to cater more to his Caucasian customers verses the brown people.
I went with my husband yesterday. Food was not at all good. We reached at 1 pm. All food (Veg and Non Veg) was cold. It was not at all good in taste. Very disappointing. Rice was not cooked properly. Desert I can feel that it was stale. I made complain about it and they confirmed. Choose other restaurants if you really want to enjoy food with your love one. I can not even give one star
Great place to come for an Indian buffet. You can sample lots of things until you find what your favorites are. Good prices too.
This is the place to go for a taste of India! Upon entering, you are greeted with smiles and fascinated by the beautiful decorations. The waiters go beyond their duty to make sure you are satisfied with the experience. The food comes in nice sized portions at reasonable prices. It is undoubtedly the best Indian restaurant my family and I have eaten at! -Maria
Fantastic food. Some of the best I've had.
Unquestionably, Cinnamin is the best Indian lunch buffet in the metro area. Great food, a great and friendly staff, very reasonably priced, very hospitable owner. I've been going their since they opened, and have never been disappointed.
Lunch buffet is a great value and plenty of choices.
Food was very tasty
Stopped in for the lunch buffet. Everything was delicious. Good selection. Service was good. Would have liked a few more vegetarian options but overall great buffet for the price.
I was stuck in the November 15 2018 snow storm and managed to make it to hotel but was starving from hours stuck on I-80. Cinnamon was the only place around and even though they were closing, they kept their kitchen open so I could order something (and they let another guy who had abandoned his car charge his phone). I appreciate their humanity and their food WAS delicious. I'm not saying that as a favor. I had it for dinner, breakfast, and lunch, and would go back for more. Thank you again!
The food is delicious as always. Love that place !
The food was delicious and the service was friendly and fast. Definitely going to come here whenever I'm in New Jersey.
Love the friendly service and good food. Always plenty left for a doggy bag.
Excellent food fresh all time
Love food! Pretty good lunch buffet n good different dish options.
Awesome lunch buffet for a very reasonable price. Never disappointed.
I've been coming to this place since 2012 the faces are consistent the food is consistent it's a 10 out of 10 in taste.
One of the few delightful Indian restaurants with an attractive ambience and invitingly tasty fare in NJ, NY or Virginia that I have been to. Those looking for a homely Indian meal - specially on a weekend, must visit.
The first time I went to Cinnamon was on a Saturday for dinner. I was told that they had an amazing buffet and was hoping they'd have it for weekend dinners, but it was orders off of menu only. Complimentary pita chips served were so delicious that we had to get a refill of the basket. For entrées, we had the salmon marsala curry and the goat curry. They both came in stainless pots that looked very small, but the portion is quite large. We finished about a half of all ordered foods and took the rest back home for next day's lunch. Promptly after our first visit, we went back for the lunch buffet. The fried appetizers were a bit soggy and greasy, but overall, everything was good, especially for the price we were paying. We would definitely return the next time we have Indian food cravings. The service was prompt and the staffs were very friendly.
Good lunch buffet. Good for both veg and non-veg options
Very tasty buffet option in Parsippany. The buffet, I bet, has more food options than you can eat! At all the courses - starter, main and dessert - it is an indulgence. All this at a very competitive pricing. The food is a bit Americanized, means it is less spicy than regular Indian food. So, people liking less spicy stuff will enjoy it more. This review is only for the buffet.
I can't even tell you how much we enjoy Cinnamon. We found it maybe a year and a half ago on a quest to find the best Indian food we possibly could. I think we were successful in that endeavor. We've gone back literally dozens of times, mostly on Sundays for the buffet, where you can sample the whole palette of flavors Cinnamon offers. If that weren't enough, the people here are outstanding. Cinnamon has become my favorite restaurant. It goes without saying that I recommend it wholeheartedly.
Worst experience. We ordered vegetable biryani from this restaurant and it was not fresh. We noticed that the vegetables are not freshly cooked and it was just a warmed biryani. We felt uneasy after eating. They have to improve on the food standards. This is my first visit to the restaurant and I would never visit it anymore.
Amazing Indian food. We smoked many different dishes and I enjoyed all of them.
Great lunch buffet!!!
“So much variety in buffet with great taste” I have heard about it so wanted to try this Went there with 2 of my friends and wow, it was fully packed. Americans have outnumbered us there. From the starters to main course and Dessert. Everything was so good; nothing like it is ok type. I can’t name everything as there were many dishes but what I like methi chicken, kabab, Rasmalai, KAdhi pakoda, pani puri was also there. The ambience was equally good. Overall great lunch buffet in $13
Great food reasonably priced
The best i have had any where. The owner and his wife are so nice. The staff is good too.
Excellent buffet spread. We enjoy this place often for lunch buffet in weekdays
The restaurant was clean and visually pleasant but the buffet style lunch had merely a hand written sign taped to the wall with the name of the dish in the Indian language I would have appreciated a brief description in English and key word for the spiciness level. I took something thinking it was some kind of egg roll and took a bite only to find out it was a battered stuffed and fried large green chili pepper!!! Non seeded so it was very spicy.
Absolutely a huge fan of this place. Me and my girl go to the lunch buffet on the weekends and it is 2nd to none. Great service (super friendly) and a wide selection of dishes.
Lunch buffet always has a nice amount of choices. If you havent tried this food type yet, but always want to, buffet is the way to go. Dinners have always been great. Servers friendly and responsive.
I've been going here for Indian food for most of my childhood. The staff is incredibly kind and warmhearted. The food is easily my favorite. Vegetarian dishes are not only present but just as exemplary as the meat dishes. Favorite place for dinner out :)
I love Indian food and this restaurant is always my first choice. In fact, the food is so great that I think it's a big part of the reason that I am such a big fan of Indian food. If you're eating in the area this is always an awesome choice.
Have been eating at this restaurant for years. Staff is friendly and helpful. They always make you feel welcome and appreciated. Food is delicious. Haven't had a single complaint about anything I have ever ordered. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting quality Indian cuisine and a good dining experience (or even takeout).
They have greatly improved from the past. If you never tried Indian food. Give this a try even for lunch. They will work with you for spicy or not so spicy foods to enjoy your experience.
Excellent food, service and decor. Very reasonably priced and consistent.
Excellent menu, great lunch buffet menu both in taste and price
Visited Parsippany on business and the team decided we wanted Indian food for lunch. PLENTY of vegetarian, gluten free and non red meat options on the lunch buffet. We left STUFFED and very happy with the service, buffet selection and food quality. Highly recommend the buffet to try a variety of delicious dishes!
Food was pretty good but not the best it could be.
Good Ambience. Good Food. All curries are made with your choice of spiciness. Choose spicy to try as it really made of great Indian spices. Biryani aka Veg pulao is excellently prepared with delightful spices. Calm and Lucid.
Favorite Indian restaurant in area. We have tried others, and some are quite good, but the staff has always treats my family well here, and the variety of food at the buffet is amazing. When your ten-year old rather go to Cinnamon than for pizza, burgers or chicken fingers, you know it's worthwhile. Never left feeling anything but satisfied!!!!
very authentic taste... very busy place...little costly, but worth to spent the money for the good tasty food. The sambhar is little thick, I will love if it was thin. Overall, very good place for Dosa and south indian food.
Good staff, amazing location. Not the best food.
Very delicious food.
Great food! Great atmosphere! Great times.
Good place to eat. Typical selection of Indian food buffet.
Amazing food! The décor is great with cinnamon wood on the walls. The owner is very hands on and well recognized chef!
We had a nice Saturday night dinner here. Service was good. It was the perfect speed and they met all our needs. Food was fantastic. Lemon broth soup with shrimp is delicious. They make a pickle dish that's very good. My shrimp dinner was perfect. can't wait to come back.
Good Indian food with great service! Its kind of a restaurant where you want to become a regular!
Great food! Amazing selection.
Great food and positive staff
Great food. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices with large portions. Best Indian around.
Nice Indian food buffet
Great place to eat
Great buffet place for indian food. Vast variety and reasonable prices. Chicken biryani is amazing. Must try.
Love the range of appetizers in Buffett
Buffet variety beats most other similar Indian joints in the area. Service is pretty good but if the food itself isn't good the rest doesn't really matter. As an Indian I find some of the dishes heavy handed in cardamom and clove.
The place is ridiculous, food is below par and they charge you like it’s the best restaurant in the world , most places in jersey won’t charge you more than 2$ for a regular nan , this place charges you 4$, 3 times I ate there and every time came out unfulfilled and with a feeling that I just got robbed
Good place to host a party for the kids and the food was really tasty.
Absolutely amazing food, one of the bests in NJ area. The place really has elegant interior. Very suited for business lunches, dinners or parties. Awesome for get together or gathering. Little upscale but worth every penny.
Great place with a huge selection for the buffet. Loved the lamb curry. Just wish I could have eaten more.
My new favorite Indian restaurant! Best veggie pakora and lamb korma I've ever had.
ALWAYS a treat to eat HERE
One of the Best Indian restaurants in New Jersey. The staffs are so cordial and well trained. Food was so delicious. Highly recommended.
Great restaurent and not so spicy food. Everyone will have something to look forward to eat in this place
Good food and decent service
Always a great meal and great service.
The tandoori and aloo zeera were really good, but the ready of the dishes we had (aloo papri chat and paneer makhini) were very sweet.
Great first impression. Great food and service.
Fantastic buffet, great prices and great staff
Lunch buffet for the price is good. There's a nice spread of various items that are vegetarian and non-vegetarian. I ate a decent amount and didn't have any bad stomach issues afterwards which is a good sign for an Indian restaurant. I've been here for regular dinner service and it's good as well. The only thing I've ordered that I didn't like was the lamb chops. The pieces were small and not seasoned well.
Amazing food, service and price. We enjoyed dinner at this place several times, but our favorite is the lunch buffet. It is not just to our liking because it is all you can eat and the price, but the quality of the food and variety is incredible. It tends to get packed once in a while, so get there earlier, especially if you have a bigger group, but regardless, you will enjoy the food selection and the atmosphere. I am personally a meat eater, but if you have a mixed party of people who eat and don't eat meat, there is plenty for everyone and the taste is amazing.
Excellent Indian Buffet and A'la carte. If I am comparing against all the Indian restaurants in near by area, then I like Cinnamon most. The food is very good in buffet as well as any other time for carry out or dine-in. They have many choices during lunch buffet. I love that. But I would recommend them to change their lunch buffet menu as I am bored now with the same menu since more than a year.
Great food for a great price! The restaurant is A LOT bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside!
Fantastic Indian food. The head chef / owner takes such pride in his work and it really shows. Love going there, so good! Excellent lunch buffet and reasonable prices.
Really nice to have such a good Indian restaurant so far out on route 10. The food is tasty and so the service is good too. The restaurant has done nice elements of decor, and some plain or tacky. Also, the lighting could be a bit dimmer.
Nice environment. Free parking. ; A good place to go for Indian food. Weekdays they serve lunch buffet and Sunday dinner buffet. Addtional note: I went for a lunch buffet last day; Absolutely worth to go for. Very tasty and good variety of items.
Simply amazing. No matter where I go( I travel a lot), I always try the local Indian food. Cinnamon is by far my favorite one so far. I've been here about 7 times over the course of two years(don't live here anymore or else I would go more) and I have never been disappointed. I've only had the dinner option(non-buffet) but I've tried many different dishes and they've all been great. Plus the portions are pretty generous. If I'm looking to treat myself, I know where to go.
Excellent lunch buffet, must try !!
I've had the buffet on a few occasions and the food is always fresh, a wide selection of mild entrees and appetizers. The restaurant ambiance isn't very fancy, tacky decorations. I primarily order take out from Cinnamon which justifies my 5 star rating. Portions are generous, fresh, authentic and taste great! Best Indian restaurant in Morris county and surrounding areas.
Great ambience for a fine dine Indian cuisine. Located near most corporate offices and good for team luncheons.
I ate too much. Too good...
Pretty good food at a fair price for lunch. Sometimes it gets really crowded, so the buffet lines get long.
Good food and various varieties in veg & non-veg indian buffet. Atmosphere is very nice. Book a table if u going in peak lunch hours. Parking space is good enough.
Great food. Can someone confirm salts like ajinomoto(or other worse ones) isn't used here
Amazing Indian food definitley the best in this area. I highly recommend their buffet, with a range of gluten free option. I eat there all the time and love the food.
Love it. Close to us. We roll in there with the kids and everyone is happy!
Indian food modified to Westernized Indian food lovers. This place has good selection of desserts
Worst place to go. Always have stale food. If you are Indian, you can figure it out that it never has fresh food. Not hygienic food. Staff is too rude to serve bread/Naan. I will never go or suggest to visit this place. I am surprise how people give more than one star. I will not give even one star. But to write a review I have to click on one star.
First time eating Indian food, excellent food and great staff
Amazing lunch buffet with fantastic options and a great variety of delicious food. The buffet is very well labeled, so you know what you are eating. This is my favorite Indian buffet in the area. It is very popular for lunch breaks from work. Also, almost the entire buffet is gluten free. The few 3 items that were not gluten free were very clearly labeled as such.
Can't beat their Sunday buffet!
Nice and authentic place
Excellent food. Great service. Recommend this to others.
This place is located at a quiet nice place at Route 10, ambience is good, spacious and for a change well lit. We ordered daal Makhani, Paneer Makhani and Vegetable Jalfarezi. Overall food quality is good, Paneer Makhani could have been a little less sweeter. Breads were fresh and nice. Salad, pickle and Papad comes in complimentary. Entree size is more than sufficient, so check before you order. Price wise it’s a little on the higher side than other reataurants in similar space. Staff is courteous and helpful. For a Saturday evening visit, the place wasn’t crowded, added bonus. I would go there again to try their other things. #reviewbyNorthIndian #vegeterian #NewJersey
Perfect for Indian Buffet
Great selection of buffet items; continuously refreshed so food is fresh and plentiful.
Would give 0 if I could. Fake Indian food. Although, every white person who doesn't like spice (let me be clear here, I am not talking about chili), would/should love it. Its Nepalese cooking with Indian spices. The only thing that they have going for them is their fresh out of the oven naan/bread. If you are an Indian/Pakistani/a true lover of good Indian food - avoid.
The food is delicious , the restaurant is clean and the staff is amazing!!! Cannot day enough good things. They also have gluten free and vegan options!!!
Good friendly Atmosphere/ tasty food/ perhaps needs more spicy food. How about some Indian music.
Food is ok but there are so many other decent restaurants in the area which are much more respectful to customer. The owner is aggressive and unfriendly particularly with Indians.
Very nice buffet. Excellent taste! Like this place
We always get take out here and love it!
It is always crowded but the 2 times I have eaten here, I found the food to be OK
Went with my fiance after hearing so much about it. The food was great, the naan fresh. And the service was pretty good too, loved the lamb and goat dishes and the veggies were an excellent side, well seasoned and cooked.
Best Indian restaurant I know of. One of the hardest parts about moving to PA was losing Cinnamon. Every time we are back in NJ we try and make a point of stopping by to remember what great Indian food tastes like again.
Have been visiting this place regularly. ..great food as always.. true desi food and flavors. ..keep it up
Tasty Indian buffet and nice ambience
Not as heard...
I really like the weekend lunch buffet here. Nicely prepared food with ample varieties and reasonable pricing. Pani puri was the best
Favorite indian restaurant in North Jersey area, amazing buffett. For $10, you get so many vegetarian and non-veg. entrees, plus three desserts, appetizers. Totally worth. Dinner can be pricey but the service, the metal pots they bring the foot in, the food taste is just amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant for any event.
