The selling point is the price, about $8 for lunch and $11 for dinner. The food is decent for the most part, but sometimes there will be some older stuff left on the buffet for too long. This place survived when a much bigger buffet moved in and it will probably survive the next one too.

Got here at @3:30 dinner was good. Fast service. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because the only fried rice option was pork fried rice. I thought all places served veggie fried rice? But other than that this place was great.

First, this review is comparing it against other buffets, not against restaurants. The service itself is good. They take finished plates fast, keep drinks up constantly, and if you ask for a dish be refilled they are usually accommodating. That said, some points to watch for. The cleanliness of the establishment is hit or miss. Bathrooms have old decayed employee hand wash signage, the drop ceilings might be a decade old. It's not filthy, but it doesn't have that sparkle you expect from a freshly washed table. Quality of food largely depends on arrival time. It's no secret that buffet food that sits loses heat and flavor. I reccomend going before 730 for dinner. Lunch is usually busy and you should have more time to arrive. If you get it fresh and hot, it's good for the price, and has a nice variety.

If i had a choice id give 0 star , bearly any food out empty trays and the food that was out looked like it had been sitting for hours DRY..! Only thing they had there that was good was the ice cream sad buffet its really not an all you can eat cause there's no food , oh and flies everywhere on the little bit of food .

Literally sitting in here now and my friend find a baby roach in her soup. We tell the waitress and she takes our bowl dosnt apologize and continues working. They leave the soup out to the customers. Its still out right now.... GROSSED OUT AND DISSAPOINTED. wish I could throw it all up

That was our second time coming here . I love the place. Good food. Despite all other buffet, they don’t serve pizza, (Which I am very pleased because that would be the only thing my kids would eat ! ) The price is very responsible

Pretty good buffet. Very rarely you get an off night here. For the most part everything is good but don't expect the seafood to be good as it's isnt real. Went here 10 times in a row and never had a problem. They don't use msg like the 19 buffet does and I never got sick once from here. And the food exactly has taste to it. Will recommend this place over 19 buffet. Fortunately the 19 buffet isn't making Cheng's lose customers.

Made me so sick it ruined my vacation. Watched owner keep taking chicken broth from one tray of food to other trays that were rock hard to soften them up. The lomein was mushy and had no flavor. Some dishes had been out for so long that they were ROCK HARD. Chicken dishes were questionable at best. Steak dishes were left out so long the meat turned to jello. Most dishes were left empty or with little to no food on a Friday night. Overall the restaurant is very dirty , the forks were covered in dry food. Food was absolutely hideous and the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Owners should be ashamed to charge 30 dollars for a buffet like this.

Food just ok. Crab legs you must ask for the tray to be refilled. This night 40 plus people so 8/9 Crab legs where brought out. Can't believe I returned 10/13. They allow dogs in there and I don't mean service dogs. All I heard was barking.

Went there with my daughter tonight. Never been there before, saw mixed reviews. Paid at the counter, they brought our beverages to a booth, and we ate our share of food. On a scale of 1-10 I’d say most of the food was a solid 7.5. My daughter REALLY liked their fried shrimp. I’d have to say the General Tso was above average, and the steak in bean sauce was super tender. Decent variety to choose from, they were replacing items and tending to them as needed. Super attentive staff. And actual ice cream, not some machine! We’ll be back for sure

Maybe i missed this change but, when did they start charging by height, instead of age? Been going for many many years, never once did i see a sign posted on door or at counter for price by height. Children grow taller but, you cant speed up age. Always paid adult or child prices when need be. The rudeness of one employee telling me i should've have called or looked at their ad in local paper. huh? I was going home after spending day at boardwalk. Like i needed to explain that. Pure bait and switch. Never did i think after all these years, a wildwood area staple would treat a regular customer like this. Chengs has truly taken their customer base for granted. If chengs had enough to advertise height over age, could've presented this ad in the window of your mediocre menu. never going again. Ate Chinese buffet dinner for 8.99 in vineland Nj. Was cheaper for an adult and kid there.

this has to be the most dirtiest filthiness place i ever walked in. when you walk in look at the sign in the window the grime and dust was horrible...then all the food is dried up full of grease. the coat rack had mold growing on it, the lights and fans must not have ever been touched for cleaning... i walked out i only gave 1 star here because you cant post with out at least 1 star

I have being going to Cheng's since I came to the US ... is my favorite place. my family and I get food there at least once a week everything is delicious.
