This place can get crowded so always call ahead. Food is great and service is excellent. They also have outdoor seating with great views of the NYC skyline

They got 1 star because there is nothing lower! I was there for dinner with my husband and as we entered the front desk was crowded with employees laughing & ignoring customers! We had to get their attention a couple of times before they acknowledged us & ask for a table my husband wanted to leave but I said no let’s give it a chance! BIG mistake! The service was horrible & rude! Portions were small, food was salty, overpriced tight overcrowded space no one checked on us to see if we needed anything! We will never return to that place!

A little pricey. I ordered the fish tacos, which were fine but left me very hungry. The view is beautiful and the margaritas are not overly sweet. There is confusion about there happy hour times: bartender said until 6, hostess says it's until 630.

The food is pretty decent, we really love the queso dip for appetizer. The views are absolutely gorgeous, especially if you're there around sunset. We've been there a couple times and as a trend, we've noticed the service is mostly just "ok".

Got here around 7 on a Thursday, I was worried about parking but upon arriving I saw they had valet parking - score! There was only a table of 3 before us and we got seated like 5 mins in. Table side guacamole - Delicious! Ordered the Carne Enchilada and Sopa de Tortilla, very homey and Pueblo flavors (if you’re Mexican you know what that means). Servers are nice, took a little while for them to get to us in the beginning but their manners toward us overshadowed it. Nicely decorated with the marigold especially for Día de Los Muertos! Real authentic Mexican food and feel - awesome job guys!

The view is nice you can literally so the Hudson River. My family and I went and we found out we had to do reservations but we were attended quickly. (YOU CAN MAKE RESERVATIONS TWO WEEKS AHEAD NOW). The food is good and the employees are very friendly and respectful.

Pretty authentic looking Mexican charm. Great food and the most fascinating table side prep of the guacamole. Open veranda is available. Parking with valet cost $4. Very good for sunsets! This is probably the only place where the guac is made table-side and seasoned as you wish. This is definitely a must-visit and a perfect location for a dinner-date.

This restaurant has a great location and the food was excellent. I enjoyed a meal outside while viewing the NYC skyline. My server made my guacamole from scratch directly in front of me. I ordered enchiladas and I was not disappointed. I would highly recommend this place.

I've eaten at Charritos several times. I always enjoy the dishes I've ordered. Also the fresh Guacamole. Lately the food hasn't been so good. The manager is very rude. Shame

The worst service ever experienced. Called them 4 times to get us just chips and salsa. The pork dish was terrible. Don't go there. Not pleasant. I have had way better Mexican food. This place is pricy and not worth it.

The food is good but they couldn't make a simple taco for me. They had me get veggie fajitas and ensured me it was similar to what I asked for but it was 90% a ton of vegetables I didn't want. It was good, but it wasn't anything like what I wanted. I ended up just eating flour tortillas with beans and sour creme because that's all that came with it and then took the veggies home to have later. I don't know why it's so complicated for places like this to just give me flour tortillas with beans cheese and lettuce or something. Anyway... Food is good but they won't customize anything.

We are there on Saturday and left a small green and yellow crossbody bag on the back of the chair. When we got home we tried to call a ton of times and no one picked up even though they hadn't closed. Went today and they don't have it and someone either didn't turn it in to the lost and found or stole it. I'll be happy to remove when this items returned.

Good food and ambient. The only negative thing I have to say is that one time our server prepared guacamole for us and he was wearing a band aid on his finger which was disgusting. Otherwise everything else is good.

This place is has alot to offer. The location is great, both indoor and outdoor seating is available. The staff always seem to have a good time which makes your visit more welcoming. The food is full of flavor and taste just like home dishes with a touch of modern flavor. Great selection of drinks and much to choose from the menu. I give this place a solid B+. Great for a casual lunch or a nice night out.

I came here for my Birthday for lunch. I had the Guacamole for starters. I ordered the chicken tacos (okay) and my Husband had the Steak mini fajitas (really tasty). I also had the mango margarita (also okay). Most loved the view. We sat outside enjoying the breeze but tables are small.

Food is mediocre everytime Ive eaten there and way overpriced. Seating outside is uncomfortable and chairs are cheap. Lets be honest, your paying for the view of Manhattan.

Great view, nice food. Not your average Mexican fare. Dishes are fresh and distinct from each other. Great view of Manhattan from the large windows. Close to HBLR with great access. Didn't see any non valet parking (in a very tight lot). Prices are a bit up there, but considering the quality of food, not too bad for the area. Expect $20 - 25 for food only.

Place has great location and views. My second time here. First time i did not enjoy the food at all. This time I ordered Cochinita Pibil which was a bit better. Decent food, but nothing to write home about. Food is overpriced. Service is super slow, especially considering it started raining when we were finishing up and no-one came to the table to offer assistance with relocating inside, etc... Waiter forgot our order multiple times and had to come back to the table to verify order. Certainly could have been avoided by him making an effort to write everything down rather than go off memory. Also, I asked for extra tortillas for my meal as they clearly don't give you enough for the entire dish. Tortillas were brought to me without hesitation. When checking the bill I see a $2.00 charge for extra tortillas. It's not the $2.00 thats the issue but I should know if I'm being charged for something when ordered. I figured my $20+ dollar entree warranted a few extra tortillas "on the house". I won't be back.

Awesome place. Food is delicious and people that work there are very polite. I celebrated my B-Day there with my familia and amigos and I loved it. the only thing i can say to the owner is that the tacos are very small..."mini tacos". I think and is my humble opinion you need to work on that.

Great authentic food and amazing view. Our favorite spot for Mexican food and date night. Their potato tacos are amazing and they are very accommodating to our food preferences. All our favorite dishes can be made vegan easily and the servers are always very understanding and happy to make the necessary changes. All in all amazing food with the best view of the city!

I normally LOVE Charritos especially Yamill, best bartender, food and ambiance. However today another cold experience with manager. Opens at 11:30 and we walked up. She barked not open for about another 10 minutes. Called from outside after 10 minutes and she mumbled ok maybe open. Door was locked so we called and asked if they were opening. She then ignored us. No water nothing. We walked out. I have been so many times prior that it is sad when bad attitudes affect a great place.

The food was really tasty and the view of the city across the Hudson outstanding and this is what most will care about. 5 stars for view and service. But the feeling of getting charged for everything is really present. Pay for chips, pay for sharing, auto 20% for 6 or more. Service was on the slow side but not bad. To be fair, I am comparing to all the Mexican places I have been to in Texas. Maybe this is normal here.
