Filling Tex Mexican in a festive environment decorated with flags and lights and mobiles. You can watch the High Bridge commuter trains go by as you eat. The chips are warm and the salsa tasty. The beans are really good. We enjoyed all our entrees.

Awesome traditional Mexican food at this BYOB restaurant. The one markdown, albeit small, is the yellow rice isn't very good. Which is disappointing since the rest of their meals are really, really good!

Showed up at 9:15 the restaurant hours show open until 10pm. The restaurant was so kind to inform us they were closed. Will definitely not step foot back into this establishment. I do not recommend them based on their customer service & ability to follow their company hours. There are plenty of other local restaurants in the area that would be more than happy to accommodate customers & follow their business hours. I have no desire to visit this establishment again. I recommend changing the hours on your google page if you’re not qualified to stay open & honor the hours posted on your site.

Love Casa Maya. Everything on the menu is excellent. An order of Carnitas will feed 2 people easily. Or just get it for yourself and have a few days of leftovers. BYOB if you wanna drink. Friendly staff, good prices, you can’t go wrong.

Had lunch here and it was delicious. Food was impeccable and yummy. Service was excellent and prompt. Place is clean and located next to the train station in High Bridge. Parking lot is available and “on street” parking is avail close by. Come here and enjoy the unique food that is well prepared and tasty!!

I've been to both Casa Maya restaurants, since the original opened. The food in both has always been exceptional, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the service excellent. Great food at great prices with great staff.

We came here because we saw a 4.1 out of 5 rating. Either people were just being kind or really don't know what Mexican food should taste like. The only thing we enjoyed was the complimentary salsa and chips. We ordered burritos,enchiladas and chicken quesadillas. If you enjoy sopa smoked chicken in every dish this is your place. Otherwise steer clear. It was a bad smoked chicken and smoked chicken isn't supposed to be sopa (meaning soup like). It should have a totally different flavor in that case. Dishes came with rice and refried beans. The rice was overcooked as the vegetables were dried out to the point they were hard and the rice had no flavor. The refried beans tasted terrible and were more of a sauce then beans. The burrito came with a red sauce and cheese over the top. The cheese was literally a slice of cheese melted over the top whose flavor did not complement the dish. Due to the chicken being sopa the quesadillas were soggy and again they used sliced cheese. The quesadillas were actually stuck to the plate and did not taste good. Not a good selection of beverages either. Service was terrible. They took forever to come around. I requested a refill on my drink which I never received. Left much to be desired. We will not be eating here again.

I love this place! The staff is almost always polite and friendly. The food is consistently very good. And the ambience, although cheesy, is fun and very "Mayan/Mexican". I highly recommend the Mexican pizza (I ain't saying it's authentic...). Crispy and cheesy with a little kick from the jalapeños and the chorizo. I also recommend many of the meal combos- but be warned, portions are huge.

Nothing outstanding really. They did serve a large portion of food but I thought the flavor wasn't really good (I got carnitas) from their description of the dish on the menu I thought it was gonna be delicious but I get I got my expectations too high and then got disappointed. Still giving it 3 stars because I'm gonna give it another chance and hopefully food will be better.

My wife and I have gone to Casa Maya a few times now. The food is great. It's well made, well presented, and thoroughly enjoyable. There's always so much of it that we have leftovers. I recommend it to anybody who's coming through the area, or lives within 30 minutes of it. The trip is well worth it.

Waited 20 minutes for 2 cups of soup. 35 minutes for two toss salads which were sloppy and lacked flavor. Salsa filled with large pieces of onion. Poor service!

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! I ordered take out and the food they gave me was MOSTLY not what I ordered. I ONLY received ONE out of the three appetizers I ordered and two appetizers I didn't order. Out of THREE main dishes they got ONE correct and, again, gave me two I didn't order. They didn't provide wraps for the fajitas and NO TORTILLA CHIPS (I ordered a dish that comes with extra chips). They charged me $82.00 for food I didn't order. THE WORST PART WAS THEIR RESPONSE WHEN I CALLED -- COME BACK AND WE WILL GIVE YOU THE CHIPS AND FAJITA WRAPS. DO NOT EAT AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!!!!

Tacos are very filling, I was only able to eat one. I like how for each taco they use two shells, so they use a lot of meat. Very good, I just didn't like the taste of the taco meat all that much.

One of, if not the best Mexican food in the area. Clean, colorful atmosphere, consistently good service and good food. Try the chili con carne with chips and the chicken mole enchiladas. Also, the salad with marinated cactus is a pleasant surprise.

Most authentic Mexican food in the area without driving to Flemington. Portions are good, prices a little high but that is to be expected as there are no hole-in-the-wall type taco places around here like in the city or the south.

Very cute restaurant for a tiny little town, the atmosphere is fantastic. There are banners strung on the walls, l lights on the ceiling, and lots of authentic-looking pictures and statues; it's very very neat! The food is very yummy. I would definitely recommend this place.

Food is wonderful, décor is a bit tawdry, but almost all Mexican décor is like that. Service is quick and servers are very polite. Usually not that much of a wait.
