I went with my family, total 3 of us. Portion size is big for 3 of us. Staff was very nice. Just on suggestion be careful with ordering we ordered salad and pasta dish and it was good for dinner two times and a lunch. Food was good.

This restaurant has pretty good Italian food. They serve family style dishes which serves 4 to 6 people. So be careful how much you order! I only was able to order calamari and spaghetti and meatballs for this reason. The calamari was great but wish there was more sauce brought with it. The spaghetti was huge! Even the meatballs were huge, but I think they could have put one or two more in it. It was tasty and had plenty of leftovers. They have a couple kinds of bread they bring to the table. Some crunchy and some soft. All is good. It is served with oil and cracked pepper. Butter is available on request. I can't wait to come again and try more food!

Food was good. Service was terrible. Waiter was very inattentive, when asked for the bill he basically threw it on the table as he walked by to another table and nonchalantly said, "Whenever your ready." First and last time there.

Excellent meal! Stellar service! Our server, Trevor, was a gem. He handled my dairy restriction with a smile, and helped to make delicious selections. Love the atmosphere at Carmine's AC, and the family-style entrees. In addition to the dairy-free menu, there are menus for gluten-free, vegetarian/vegan, and for those with garlic allergies.

Horrible service. Took over an hour to get served a pasta dish at the bar. No one checked on our order. When we asked them to check the status of our food the barmaid asked if we wanted the check. Spoke with front desk and was told nothing we can do ..very disappointed. Go to carmine's in theater district in NYC often never been treated this poorly. Would give zero stars but not an option

We ordered the Hot Antipasto. It definitely is a large portion to share for a meal. (All of their portions are) they changed it up a bit tho....it had a spinach and cheese dip which wasn't to appetizing. The cheese and oil had separated and it was a mess. The ravioli were fried. And very dry. I did have a nice cocktail though. I don't recall the name but it had limoncello and prosecco. Very tasty.

My first time being there. We had a awesome experience. My girlfriend and I got a table located downstairs in the Tropicana. Our waiter David was awesome. The best waiter/waitress I’ve had thus far in Atlantic City. The food was really good and huge portions. We will definitely be back.

The ambiance was excellent, and our service was on par as well. However, the food was not on the same level. We ordered Chicken Parm, and I believe they brought us veal. The sauce was very bland, and overall a disappointment.

Not even sure where to begin, DONNA IS A WONDERFUL WAITRESS! she made sure my fiancé and I had everything we needed, told us all the specials and made special accommodations for me since I am pregnant. Donna went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I wanted, she had the staff sing me happy birthday and suggested some fantastic food for us! We’ve been to this location tons of times and never had anyone treat us as well as Donna did! I absolutely adore her service and will only be coming back for her! Thank you so much Donna! You made my night!!

Food delicious. Staff friendly. The wait. Reservations were at 7, seated at 7:30, received food at 8:30. To be fair the waitress did say the kitchen was backed up.

We asked for 4 waters. The waitress replied "do you just want a bottle of water?" Sure, we guess. Turns out this fancy bottle of water costs $7. Everyone else had pitchers at their tables. She knew we were never there before. That $7 got taken out of her tip, and that's her fault. This place does not have normal italian dishes. Their shrimp scampi is $40 for a dozen and a half pieces of shrimp with NO PASTA. Same with their veal parm. Huge mistake and huge waste of money.

My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner at Carmine's this past December. We were first drawn by the great location of it, located in the beautiful Tropicana Casino. We loved having our family and friends in such an intimate festive space, with SUCH delicious food. The staff was so nice and attentive and the portions are more than enough for your party! Absolutely delicious authentic Italian food, you won't be disappointed!

Great atmosphere inside of the Havana hotel section of the Tropicana. The food is delicious authentic Italian. Beware that the amount of food you get can feed many people. It is too much for a party of two. You will have plenty of left overs.

Not very good corporate Italian. Service was ok, but a bit rough. House wine was very ... young. No amount of breathing could make it better. There are better choices in Atlantic City. There are better choices at the Trop.

Great emvironment, the food was outstanding and from the waiters to everyone partaking in the restaurant it was amazing. David you did great job man and ty for looking out for us and making feel like home. I highly recommend this place and bring plenty of friends for all that good food to enjoy and share like family. Ty to the Tropicana hotel as well for their variety of restaurants, clubs and beautiful casino. Had a great time on my birthday! !!

I decided to take my beautiful girlfriend for a romantic dinner at Carmine's. For our lovely evening, our server was Mario, J. Mario was very knowledgeable of the menu. He had numerous suggestions on how to best navigate the menu being a couple, and not a large group. Mario's suggestions were delicious, as we had the spicy wings and seafood pasta special. Mario always came to the table at the most opertune time to check on us. We finished the night with a delicious cappucino and espresso. I could not speak more highly of the service that Mario had given us and would highly recommend Carmine's and Mario as your server. Thank you Mario for the great service and Carmine's for the delicious meal. Mario your a 10/10.

First visit and first impression it was busy, it was loud and people seem to have good time. Lot of parties of 10+. And the reason for that is probably because the dishes are humongous. There was four of us and we got one appetizer and one pasta dish and we left full. Also we had a great waiter. Overall nice experience.

We had been excited to return to this location for a fun oversized meal for sometime now. We choose to go to Carmine's for dinner for our first night stay in Atlantic City. We were poured on by rain before coming in so we no longer looked our best. We got some uncomfortable stares from the host and waiters alike due to that. (Most likely) That's all fine, but our waiter - he was so.. not liking us? He checked on us once in 45 minutes. We saw him happily caring for a table adjacent to ours constantly while we were forgotten. The bread was so hard and stale. Not even a tad warm. Calamari didn't even taste the same as usual. We were so disappointed in it. Sauce was watery. Super, super disappointing experience. I don't think I'll be back. To think we got poured on for 10 minutes after being caught in the storm while walking from our hotel for it not to be worth it. Food was 3/10 Service 1/10 Note: we were here for my boyfriend's birthday a couple of months ago and they said they didn't provide any special birthday singing (you know the drill.) They did for like 3 tables while we were there. So... did they just start doing that or did we just get the cold shoulder again? Our food was good last time we came, so we returned. Service was subpar last time, too. Now, both sucked. Thanks, Carmine's.

I’ve come here twice and each time the food has zero taste. The waiter and waitress were great but the food is not worth the prices. We waited here for over an hour for a birthday meal only to send our food back twice and left to eat elsewhere. Either it’s too salty or no taste.

Huge portions. If you're on a date, or with friends, or family, 1 dish can feed you all. I had a great server last night. She made great recommendations, friendly, & proactive with drinks or any needs for that matter. She and the crew really helped make my bf's birthday special. Accommodating with reservations. The bottom portion of the restaurant was closed when we arrive around 10:30pm. But no issue for me. I suggest walking grin your resort, ubering, if not plan to pay $10 minimum for 8hr parking. Also, the chicken parm dish does not come with noodles. You have to pay an extra $12 95 to add noodles. I recommend asking for extra marinara if you like more sauce than bare noodles

The place was amazing, staff were attentive and courteous. The place is kept clean. I removed a star because the pasta we're undercooked by few minutes. They offered dessert on the house, although, it took them more than 10 minutes to find a resolution. The manager came to see us on close to 20 minutes after. Besides that, I would still recommend the experience and our two other plates were amazingly delicious!

WOW! I don't even know where to begin, absolutely all their employees are awesome! They are attentive, extremely polite and friendly which makes a huge impact on any restaurant experience. The food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and filling, it's a family food shared type of restaurant! We all ate and were full with zero food to waste. Do try the Red Sangria, one of the best ones I've had! We waited 2 hours but not because of Carmine's fault, it was definitely worth the wait! Do eat here with your friends and/or family, it's one of the best restaurants to me.

I ordered a whole cheesecake from Carmines through Uber Eats. When the cheesecake came it was soaked in water (condensation) and I wasn't upset because its no ones fault. They gave me no problems and right away started firing off solutions. Mark (manager) was extremely helpful. He even delivered it himself. He was an extremely pleasant gentleman with class. Thank you Mark and Carmines staff for the pleasant experience for an unpleasant circumstance. The italian cheesecake for four was perfect and worth the trouble and wait.

Carmine's provided exceptional customer service to the entire group. We were group of about 20 and we all sat together around a large table. There was plenty of food and drinks and everyone felt like they were and wined and dined like royalty. My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Tropicana and dined at Carmine’s both nights. We opted to sit at the bar and we were blown away by the service. Kelly was our waitress and despite the restaurant being PACKED OUT, she served us with a smile the entire time making sure to check in on us every 5-10 minutes. The Bar back was Daniel and he was so on point it was almost robotic. Every plate was cleared , bar wiped down, menu straightened out within seconds and constantly, and most importantly with a smile on his face the entire time. Pete was our bartender the previous night and helped us decide on what to get as far as dinner and drinks and his suggestions were on point after listening to our likes and dislikes. We were so impressed and happy with the service we asked to speak to the manager (Joe) to compliment his staff. Sometimes people need to be acknowledged for their hard work and in this case that’s exactly what me and my husband made sure to do. Highly recommend Carmine’s in Atlantic City and we look forward to visiting again soon. Keep Up the good work guys and know your hard work shines through.

The food was pretty good here. They serve family style. When they say that, they aren't kidding. A plate can feed an army. We had a good experience there last night. The food was good. Our waitress was Debbie and she was really attentive. We had reservations for 7pm on a Tuesday and it was the perfect time before the dinner rush. The place was clean and the decor worked for this place. We would come back to eat here again.

So this was an interesting dinner. The food is good Italian food, not the best but fun, solid family style goodness. House wines were solid and our party all felt that the value for the money was on point. The staff was mixed, bus team was excellent, but waitress was awful and not present most of the meal. The staff failed to address an extremely loud, extremely drunk patron a couple tables over. Oh and did I mention that a ceiling tile fell in the middle of the dining room due to a leak, maybe 18 inches from another table eating dinner near us? The staff seemed unable to cope with first the leaking water, and then the tile that could have seriously hurt a customer! After all of this the manger couldnt even be bothered to come out and address the surrounding tables about what happened! I realize the situation is out of your control...but how you handle it and your patrons isnt!

Our waiter Eddie C was fantastic. Our food Very tasty and delicious. The only problem we had was the waiter named Don who was not our waiter who continually came to our table with jokes and interrupting our conversation of seven women getting together to celebrate our lives. Dan had a mission to promote his massage business by massaging one of our girlfriends at the table and then requesting that we all take out our phones and take a picture of his business card because he also does groups of five and under very disappointed that your company allows the waiter to go to other tables to Promote his business as a massage therapist very unprofessional

Our company held a private event at the Atlantic City Carmine’s location March 25, 2019. This is the second private party for us at Carmine’s which doubled in size this year to 150. The guests took over the entire lower level which was perfect for our needs. Everything went flawlessly from the cocktail hour to the sit down dinner which went beyond our scheduled 1 1/2 hours. The menu, taste and quality of all the food served was outstanding and well received for our many out of town guests. I owe the success of these events to one person, Jason Tell, Events Manager at Carmine’s AC. He is knowledgeable about hosting private events here and has a thorough understanding of the inner workings at this location. Jason was also very helpful with menu selections, handled last minute changes without missing a beat and most of all delightful to work with. Last night 6 of us had dinner at Carmine's. It was late and we were hungry. We were so fortunate to have a server named Joseph (JOE). We were very indecisive about what to order. We asked him about suggestions. He was so accommodating with us. He was so attentive and great with us. Kept the drinks flowing and just made us real happy customers. He's a great asset to your restaurant. We left the restaurant very happy and that was thanks to Joseph.

most of the food was really doughy. the flavoring was really good though even after you take some of the breading off. the meatballs were my favorite really nice seasoning. the chicken didnt really suit my pallet. there was also salad i dont eat salad much chicken and spinach. the chicken with the brown marinade seems like you were trying to make it taste like chinese food

Not very happy ,first the wait was ridiculously long and it seems we were ignored and when I would ask how much longer the hostess seemed annoyed. We finally we're seated and found the food not too our liking, although portions were hugeo bread came out burnt and the food just seemed off not quite sure but maybe the sauce was sour tasting. I can't recommended this restaurant but maybe you'll have better luck

I've been coming to the Trop for years now and have finally been able to visit the restaurant I've wanted to eat at since the first time I was here. I'm extremely disapointed in the service I received. Not once did my server ask if I wanted anything. Not for a second drink, some pepper or even to ask how my meal was. I will not be coming back and I'll be sure to tell everyone not to come here.
