It could be the timing between Christmas and new year but- Duck- we requested extra crispy- came out rare and fat/skin side barely warm Escorole salad- nice presentation but way over dressed Special- scallops were fishy and more like “ had too many scallops going bad so let’s make it a special “ Green Beans- dry spiced with dry oregano that did not add in any way to the over-cooked and dated green beans. Serviice was good Escargot appt great Perhaps this was a bad day I hope to retract after next visit but experienced a disappointing meal

The food excellent. We had the filet tartare, the scallops, the salmon and the opera cake. The tartare and the scallops were out of this world. The scallops were cooked to perfection. The opera cake was served a bit too cold for my taste, but very good. The meal was the kind you keep thinking about the next day and wish you were enjoying again. The service had a few bumps, but that is to be expected so early in a restaurant's tenure.

Last Saturday my friends and I had the pleasure of dinning at Bonne Assiette. I would like to share what a great dinning experience we had at this restaurant. starting from the the owners Assi and Rita to the the waitress Candice. We were welcomed by the hostess, Rita, who directed us to our table and brought the menus. The waitress quickly tended to our drink and appetizer requests. It was truly a fine dinning experience beginning with the appetizers. The mussels were exquisite. I don't usually like mussels; however, I must admit that these were absolutely delicious. we all dipped our bread into the sauce until it was all gone. We all ordered fish entrees and everyone was happy with their meal from the sea bass, red snapper to the rainbow trout. Later Assi, the chef came to talk to us and make sure that everyone was satisfied with their meal. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will surely return for another delicious meal soon.

Not a great Valentine's experience. Food was cold, restaurant was chilly(they did mention turning up the temp), very very slow service(I believe they were under staff), server open our bottle of wine, but only on request and did not bother to bring back my Cork and did not bother to do the first pour. A server did come to our table to apologise for the experience and offer a specific discount, but only received half of the discount upon receiving our check...I think they don't communicate among themselves. Oh well... there's next year, but not here.

My fiancée and another couple tried this wonderful French restaurant last night. We had heard the food was good, and we were hoping for the best. We were pleasantly rewarded! The food here is fabulous! There were four of us and we ordered different appetizers. The French Onion soup was excellent. The Octopus plate was delicious. The snails were super. The star of the show was the foie gras, which was absolutely divine! For main courses, we had the Lavender Chicken and the Fillet Mignon. Both were exquisite! The staff is friendly, helpful and very efficient. The chef is a delight to talk with. This restaurant setting has a great history, several great chefs have been here, and this incarnation is no exception. Go and thoroughly enjoy! The price is right and you will not be disappointed!

The place was nearly empty when we showed up for our 7 pm reservation on a Saturday... not a particularly good sign. It was about 75% when we left at 8:30. The service was attentive but could have been better. Our appetizers were just Ok, but the Shrimp dish had a excellent sauce. The bread was flavorful. The house salad included with the entrees was great. The short rib entree was enjoyable but the accompanying starch was not good. The veal lollipops special was terrible. While the flavor was good nothing else about the dish was acceptable...from the overdone asparagus to the fatty chops. I should have stayed with my first choice. The desserts are not made in house except for the creme brulee. Nothing to write home about. They do have decaf cappuccino. Overall it is unlikely we will be back.
