I can't tell you how delicious this place is, but it is delicious. The staff is super friendly, quick, and actually very funny. It seems that everyone there enjoys their job which I love. The food is out of this world. Very very flavorful. We usually over order but that's ok. And plus BYOB. Definitely will be returning.

I wish that I could give this place 0 stars. This was the worst dinner that I have ever had the displeasure of having. The staff seemed as if they lacked the knowledge on how to treat their customers & on how to cook the food. We ordered beef, shrimp, and chicken; all of which were thrown onto the hibachi at the same time. The woman kept cutting up our meat with scissors, thus turning my beef into fatty hamburger meat. The shrimp & beef began burning as the woman kept leaving our table for long stretches of time & taking the cooking utensils with her. She kept trying to put raw & undercooked chicken on my father's plate for him to eat, while letting the other meats burn on the hibachi. The woman then came over & told us that we were eating wrong. She proceeded to take a fork & stick it in my rice. When I didn't respond positively to this, she took the fork right out of my hand as I was eating & stuck it in my rice to scoop out a portion to put on a piece of lettuce (I guess to make a roll?). I was frustrated & starving at this point, so I'll admit that I cried at the table as the waitress ripped my fork away from me and tried to show me how to eat. When we complained to the manager, he blamed everything on the waitress & refused to take us seriously. Instead he kept giving excuses. This place had awful quality meats, and even worse service. Even after not being able to eat anything (the chicken just started being fully cooked at this time), they demanded full payment for the meal. That was the worst (and most expensive) dinner experience we have had, and warn others to just skip this place.

Google “open until 10 PM”. Arrived at 8:50 PM, we’re told the store is open until 10 but the “kitchen closes at 9:00” and they weren’t offering BBQ. If your not serving food from 9-10 why are you open? Booooo

Was amazing! Great Korean BBQ and atmosphere....recommend the combos (definitely one with the spicy pork.....it's pure pork belly bliss) Also I know it's probably better for me, but I'm so used to big cups and refills it's disappointing when a $1.00+ is just a can of soda....just get water. It probably said on the menu but I was looking at food not drink details...my bad...but next time I'll know!

They say they close at 10:00 pm but got there and 9:10 and was told the kitchen closes at 9, an hour before closing! Meanwhile the sign outside says open and the time listed on their door says 10.

The food itself is decent; we had the Galbi Dolsot, Spicy chicken dolsot, japchae and fried dumplings all of which was 4-5 stars(slightly expensive though). However, like many other people mentioned the downfall of this place is their service. After ordering and receiving one's food you are left to eat (which is fine unless you want to order something else.) The real annoyance however is when you go to pay and someone automatically adds 20% gratituity without informing you and when you ask for a copy of the receipt they begrudgingly hand it over.

This place is horrible. Terrible service with subpar food. It was going okay until someone at our table didn't receive their food at all. After everyone's food came out, he still did not receive his. We asked about 5 minutes after everyone else got their food, where his food was and they said it's going to take a bit longer since it's a different dish that's prepared a certain way. We asked again after about 15 minutes and still didn't receive the food. The waitress told us that it would take 5 minutes because it was almost done, so we asked if we could just get it to go since they took so long... 20 minutes later and still no food. We asked a different waiter for the check and we asked to take that food item off the check since we never got it. He told us he had to check the kitchen first. He came back out and tried to tell us we were going to have to pay for it since we asked for it to go, but there was no way we were going to do that at this point. He finally agreed to take it off.. worst service I've ever had. Even the food was not great because they overcooked the egg and the meats as well. Not worth the $100 bill at all.

Been here on many occasions after visiting, the now closed, D&Q. The boxes, the bibimbap, the bowls, the BBQ, have all been delicious. I have a predilection for spicy foods and they deliver, whether you have them prepare it or you cook it on the in table grills yourself. Worth trying out if you like authentic or fusion Korean.

From the first step into this restaurant should have been a sign. Seating groups that just arrived opposed to people who have been already waiting. Service was slow for drinks. Food didn't come out together. Had to ask for drink refills. Had to ask for check, twice. Chased down outside of restaurant for tip. Being half korean, my mom said you don't have to tip in Korean reataurant. Although, I do normally tip service was severely lacking.

This is the best value Korean BBQ that I've been too. Usually they're overpriced and undervalue, but this one is different. The prices for the combo meals are really good, and provide a good variety of food. The kimchi and starter plates are all free and very tasty. And they help you cook the food, so don't be intimidated. Very tasty, and we always look forward to stopping here if we're in the area!

We stopping here often as we travel between MD and NJ. We've never had a bad meal, and it's a welcome break from typical road food. The Korean bento boxes are a great choice for lunch and they do a delicious bibimbap as well

Beawon offers guests a comfortable spacious environment to dine in. However, their prices are a bit high for the amount of food you actually receive. We ordered their Seolleongtang and it was so bland, it basically tasted like boiled water. The BBQ itself tastes fine, pretty much like most other kbbq marinaded meat. If you're in the area, this place is alright for a meal, but definitely not the best kbbq I've been to.

The waitress was rude to my and my party of 4. The overall look of the restaurant definitely did not reflect the prices or food that was bearing served. Honestly if you want Korean bbq don’t ever go here you’ll be wasting your money. You’ll be better off spending the time and money to go to a place in Philly it’s cheaper and you’ll have a better time. If you’re don’t want to go to Philly go to Moorestown Main Street for good quality Asian food and the servers won’t chase you outside for more money on the tip.

It's a convenient spot if you're planning on grabbing groceries at H-mart. The portions are bit on the low side compared to the price. But they do offer a variety of options for various group sizes. The quality of food was par 3/5, nothing special enough for me to come back. But good enough to try it once.

Will never go again. Last time i was hear we left a cash tip but becuse it was not on the card they thought we did not tip them and kept a record of such. Just got my bill and they figured in a extra tip to account for i there words you did not tip us last time so we added extra on your bill. Just lost a loyal customer. Never again

I am Korean American lived here almost 40 years. I checked Beawon's Advertising "Lunch menu" all the time through locall Korean paper. And recommended my son and his guests. When they visited Beawon, Beawon's hostess said Beawon Do Not have Lunch Menu... So, my son and his guest had to order dinner menu instead. Lunch menus were less than $10.00 (They advertised as special Monday through Friday only, no take out food) but My son and two other guests ended up paying over $70.00 + Tips. When the Hostess saw my son adding "Tips" when signing the bill. She asked, "Wasn't the service good? or You have to add more tips like other customer!" What a service! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Shame on you BeaWon people.

There isn't much a better Korean barbecue in New Jersey than this. This place is a huge place in a very nice town, cherry hill. The food is hefty and the prices are average. All the dishes are great and people of many races enjoy this restaurant. This is a great barbecue restaurant!

Our friend met us here for an early Christmas dinner/lunch. We were unsure of how the process works with Korean BBQ. We were pleased with the way our server taught us each dish and how to eat it. She even showed us how to use the sauce and lettuce for wraps. Overall very nice experience.

They've gotten a new wait staff so it might be under new management. The waitress I had was extremely rude. She seemed to be in charge because the other employees seemed to ask her questions. I always try a place twice before I decide on how I feel about it. Both times the same waitress was sneaky and rude. They had a deal 2 months ago if you spent $100 at Hmart then you get a free jajang myun. It was eat in only. The sign said you had 30 days from receipt date to get the meal. The sign was still up when I entered. When I showed the waitress the receipt she said the deal ended yesterday. I try to show her the sign but she had took the sign down. She says in Korean to the other waitress "she saw the sign so I guess we'll honor the receipt". I didn't let her know I understood. I went in again tonight. It was close to 3 pm. She gives us the lunch menu even though lunch is about to end. We saw in the Korean newspaper 7 meal options for $7.99 which is also limited to lunch time. We choose 2 meals and she says annoyed I better quickly put this in because the deal is about to end. I try to order from the lunch menu 2 items to go she tells me it's for eat in only. She snatches the lunch menu and walks away. Later she walks by so my mom tries to get her attention so we can order something to go she completely ignores her and walks away. She doesn't return to our table. We finally get her to come over to our table. We order a meal to go she says annoyed lunch deals are over it's dinner time now. My mom explains she wants it at dinner price so she puts the order in. She never brings our to go meal to our table. Another waitress brings us the receipt without us asking for it or explaining where our meal is. We ask her where it is and she doesn't know. My mom tries to get the nicer waitress over again after 10 minutes and we finally find out our meal was sent to the register area awhile ago. Worst service ever. Stay away. As long as your not trying to get any deals they have to honor you might get better service.
