Labor day 2019. Food quality is hit or miss, great mixers. My wife had calamari and was bed ridden for a day. I was also served bad clams on a separate visit. This was always our first stop for food and drinks but now were torn.

Superb!!! I can't say enough about this place. I've been visiting ACBG since the 90s. Food, no matter what, is incredible...never a complaint. Drinks are good and reasonably priced!! Atmosphere is a bar side...really close and homey and also a restaurant side. They have an upstairs party room as well i believe. I love this place...seafood is incredible!!!

My wife and I went to Atlantic city bar and grill this past Saturday. The service was amazing and the the food was surprisingly amazing as well. I don't travel to AC often but it's a guarantee that I will very soon just to have dinner again at Atlantic city bar and grill! Try the Ny strip, the Alaskan crab legs and the shrimp linguine in white wine sauce. You wont be disappointed!

I’m not one for bashing a place but it was all the way around bad. The meal I got was terrible although my three friends were satisfied with theirs. The waitress wasn’t very pleasant and any groups of 4 or more automatically pays a gratuity. I’m not worried about the gratuity but she would’ve made more if I had tipped on my own. She refused to split the checks for the two couples for the gratuity purpose so we had to go over the bill and separate who had what on our own. Kind of crazy. Nice and clean with a cozy atmosphere but, overall, not a place I’ll go again.

A solid steak and seafood place! The food is quite delicious. However, it's a bit pricey for the level of food in my opinion (makes sense bc it's a tourist city) and the service can be slow, albeit friendly, sometimes. Overall, I would still recommend this place if you're looking for a good seafood meal in a welcoming environment.

TERRIBLE. Refills for soda are not free. 19% gratuity automatically added. The wait staff was definitely not deserving of 19%. All the food was over cooked. Steaks seafood etc. very tight and cramped seating. They won’t split checks at all. They charge you a fee to use a card of any sort no matter how much you spend. For what you are paying for the meals this place is absolutely not even worth the one star I am forced to give. I will never go back.

The food is good and the service is ok. I consider some dishes are overpriced. The reason why I am giving 3 stars is because the 4% extra charge to your card when you pay with credit card. It is written on the cover of the menu and they also let you know about the extra charge, but still, nobody wants to pay extra just because of the use of a card. We had to go to an ATM to not to pay extra money. They really need to do something about it.

Zero stars if I could. I am a gay male and I feel as though that is the reason for the disrespect and horrible service me and my party of 4 received. The food was lukewarm, almost cold, had A LONG HAIR IN IT (we’re a group of men with short haircuts so it obviously didn’t come from us) and the manager made it a point to tell me the cops were outside when I brought this to his attention. He was very rude and nasty to my party and myself. We were looking for a good place to have a nice dinner party at but we know now that Atlantic bar and grill is NOT the place to be. Never again !

What a great discovery of AC history! Originally Mama Tucci's Pizza in 1974. Story goes that the father asked his son, "do you want to go to college or buy you a business? A business the son answers" Thus was born Mama Tucci's. Around 1996, it morphs into the Atlantic City Bar & Grill. I learned this thanks to Tanya, bartender of 22 years. The collection of photos on the walls are a museum unto itself. I came to AC for a "me-cation" for beach time and to dine on the shore seeking fresh little neck clams...doesn't exist to my knowledge. So on my way back from a liquor store to stock my room at the Hard Rock, I came across ACBG. Stop in for a drink and end up devouring 30 little necks! $11 for 10. Very reasonable and yummy. Next day on way out of town, stop in for lunch, daytime off menu special, 10 Little Necks for $8! WooWhooo! A couple of Cape May Brewery beers and 50 Little Necks latter, I'm heading back to NYC...stuffed! If you're in AC, ACBG is a must place to dine. Great history, awesome menu at reasonable prices. I'll be back, you should too!

Don't let the name of this place mislead you. With all of the options nearby this is the place to choose! From the outside its hard to tell what's inside but this place is a true find! If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Service was excellent from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The food was plentiful and delicious. Mixed drinks were some of the best ever.

We went onto their website and it says that the kitchen is open until one am. My fiance and I arrived just before eleven pm. We were told that the kitchen was closed. When I asked about the time listed on the website, a man who I guessed was either the owner or manager told me that the time the kitchen closes depends upon the amount of business at the time. As he is telling me this, the bar area was full of people eating. Any business, whether retail, service based or commercial needs to be reliable, consistent and provide correct information to it's customers. This fast and loose way of running a business is common in Atlantic City, and is one of the reasons the city fails to ever experience long lasting success.

An AC landmark. Free on site parking, metered on the street. Great food and drinks, moderately priced. (May I recommend the crab pizza) Right on the corner of South Carolina and Pacific Avenue and the Jitney stops right there, in case you don't want to drive. Lively place. A little tight but that won't ruin your good time. Enjoy!

Food was good but check left bad taste in my mouth. They automatically include 18% into your bill for tip for 2 diners whether you had good service or not. Usually it's 4 or more. Also charged an additional 4.5% on top of that because we paid with credit card. You won't know unless you pay attention to the receipt. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR BILL

Really good food. But they're right down the block from work and I'll forever be sad that they don't do takeout so if I want lunch there I have to go sit. They handle big groups really well though even though they have limited space. We've gone as a group with up to 12 people and everyone gets what they ordered and it all comes out good.

Food is very rich but tasty. They don't like credit cards so they charge the patron the fee. Better to take cash. A bit pricey but fresh authentic Italian fish dishes. Although it was crowded on a Saturday night we did not have to wait and the service was good.

So this place blew me away with every aspect of dinner. So they had lots of good drink that were tasty and fairly priced. So we both had the marinara shrimp that had a spice sauce with big shrimp in it. I ended up dipping my garlic bread in it because it was that good and didn't want to waste any of it. Second my dinner was a steak and crab cake so the steak was cook so well it was soft and jucie. Now being from Baltimore I know what a crab cake should taste like and theirs was well above par. My girlfriend got raw oysters that were excellent and shrimp pasta with vodka sauce she was full but still wanted to eat it because it was that good. Took home enough food with us that we did not have to get any thing for lunch the next day. I will remember the next time I come back to atlantic city I am hitting this place back up.

Had the scallops, it’s bar quality food, but fine dining prices, salads on a tiny plate, use a larger plate, also upchatged for a Caesar dressing a dollar. They added 19% tip to the bill of 4 and won’t do separate checks. The reason is because they scam you by adding 4.5% if you use your credit card, what a joke, who doesn’t take a credit card. Then the waitress showed me the list of beers and said they were all $4.00, the bill said $6.00. No wonder nobody is there! Worst experience I have had at a restaurant.

Great food and wonderful service. I think our server's name was Sabrina and she was exceptional. My issue with this restaurant is the billing. The pricing for food was standard but I have not heard of a restaurant charging a service fee unless there was a party of 6 or more (there were two of us)and charging to pay a check with a credit card. So essentially there was a 20% up charge on our bill that we had no notice of. Just because of that, I will not be returning.

Me and my spouse went to eat here while we were on vacation. The food was good but I won't return because I felt like we were discriminated against. When we received our bill there was a 19% gratuity charge for two people. I later found out that charge is for 4 or more people. My waitress had a shaved head in the back with short hair on top...please be careful you may get discriminated against!!!

We found this place after being in the casino too long and all the restaurants on the strip closed. We showed up late (probably close to midnight) with a party of 6 and they seated us without batting an eye. The food was pretty darn good and the wait staff was friendly. Pricey place. But the downstairs was cold, when asked if they can make it warmer the staff said there hot so that's why it's cold. If I'm paying 25 bucks for a chicken parm i would like for it to be hot when toward the end. I'm not a fan of being in a restaurant with my jacket on.

Had two meals there on our vacation. Great food!! Loved the crab cakes and the imperial sauce is wonderful. My wife had steak with crab meat. She loved it! The atmosphere is nice and it was very clean. Also try the lobster bisk. Servers were attentive and prices were about average for a higher class restaurant.

The dining room was spotless and attractive and very up beat. Great menu. But I was very turned off to read on the menu a few small issues that left me not wanting to return. #1 if your check is $60 or more you are charged 4% for using credit card. #2 If you are a table of 4 or more....or your check is $60+......a 19% tip is added to check.#3 they charge for refills on soda or iced tea etc. Stupid policies. Must say the food was really very good. But I am not in a hurry to go back. The waitress was less than charming!

This place had been here for a long time and it's always pack!! And only a couple blocs away from the broadwalk. I suggested to make RSVP ahead of time. They have pretty wide good selections, and the foods are really good, specially the crab cakes! No fillers! All the foods that came out pretty quick and taste so fresh... The employees are pretty nice too! If you're in the area, should try this place. Won't be disappointed!

The prices are excellent! Food is average bar food. However, you have to keep in mind the context of Atlantic City and the expense that you will put out for food. This is a GREAT place to get a beer and some crabs or a pizza for the family. There are two parking lots.

I loved this place as they have very good seafoods with enrich history, but I have to say their policy does not favor customers anymore (visited 12/18) (1) We only had a party of two, but waitress forcefully input a service charge of 19% on to the bill without consulting us? (2) Because we were using credit-cards, they charged 4% on top? (It was not stated anywhere and 4%???) You could guess how much we ended up paying? (I still keep the receipt and have the waitress name on it) I will leave it up to you readers, but would not want to visit there again and sad to see how their reputation gets tarnished.

A nice place to stop in to grab a drink and a bite. The service staff was very friendly and accommodating. The shrimp appetizer was a little spicier than we like it, and the fish in the Fish and Chips was over-fried, while at the same time the fries were under-fried and still cold in the middle.
