This place is a bar first and a restaurant second. Killer Tuesday tacos, good draught selection, and a great stage for bands, open mic, etc. Owner is quite nice and staff can be mixed. Overall I like this place

I went there for the opening house. Was in the bar very crowned hard to make your way to the bathroom, it was like the bar took up the whole room. No dance floor. I like to go to dance. I enjoyed going to the landslide it was a great place to go listen to good music every Friday and Saturday night and dance all night.

That place has some great potential, but the food was just alright. service was extremely slow and they only staff one waitress on Friday and Saturday nights so we hardly saw her. Apps came out at the same time as entrees.

The atmosphere is so much better than the previous landslide. It's dark and cool and the music options they have are great and their drink specials are top notch. The mac and cheese is what people are usually looking for but I personally just like Kraft mac. The burger I had was dope

I gave this place a few try’s and every time I came by it was on a Friday night. The place is always empty... it gets really awkward when a decent band is playing and there is no one there to listen. Nice decor and food was okay. It’s a shame, has plenty of potential, maybe the location. Maybe it needs Bar Rescue.

Great place. Newly re-modeled. More swanky than the old Landslide Saloon. Two pool tables. Ample viewing for the sports fans. Great food, and good beer selection. Took the kids for dinner and they had a good time too. Coloring books and crayons provided at every table. Had the blackened fish and it was awesome. Wait staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back.

This place is a hidden gem. The girls bartending on a Saturday evening were cute and very inviting. They have a huge stage and this night there was a really fun band playing. Pool tables and a decent selection of beers. If you're in the area, you should check this place out.

Amazing food and atmosphere! It was the bartenders first night (Flash) and he was all alone on a Saturday night serving 14 people at the bar and a softball team in the dining area! He was the best and still managed to provide fast service. We will definitely be back.

Lobed the place Played pool. Had a better than average cburger. When I left they were setting up for the band. I was complimenting the in house sound guy on the most impressive stage setup. I regret not staying to hear the band. Rachel the bartender was personable and flitted about as a seasoned barkeep.

My wife and I went to see a good friend of ours, Lisa Bouchelle, play at American Spirits Roadhouse last Saturday night. We got there very early and had a great shrimp and grits dinner. My wife is from North Carolina and is very familiar with shrimp and grits and if she says it was good...it was. We were very pleased with how nice the place is and the atmosphere. Lisa isn't really well known in that area, but was very well received by the people who were there. I want to add that the bartender, Tracy, was as good as they come ! She is fantastic. Tracy made us feel right at home and made the evening that much nicer. We live almost an hour away, but will definitely come back...and Tracy has a lot to do with that. I'm a musician too and was very happy to see and hear the stage and sound system. I wish you all well in this endeavor. Good luck, "Papa Carl"

Great place to have lunch. Nice, comfortable place that's biker friendly. The chicken and waffles were fantastic and they have a great mix of beers to choose from. Our server, Chelsea was very friendly and personable. We will definitely be back.

if You wanna have an awesome time, the roadhouse is the place to do it. Every weekend there’s jerseys finest bands , anything between rock n roll to country to all the classics you’ll find here. All the staff is friendly and will go up and beyond for whatever your request is. 20 beers on tap plus a bottle selection. Their cocktail menu is pretty impressive too I might add. I always find myself having a hard time on what to order food wise cause everything is amazing. I’ll end it with this, it’s definitely jerseys hidden music gem. I’d get over there sooner than later

Best dam bar in the area! Live music, great people, the bartenders are always on point, Rachel Alina, and Amanda are always happy to serve you with a smile. Pete the owner is very cool and always grateful to see you as a guest. The bands that play every Friday and Saturday night are always very very good. Much better than the Pattenburg House and the prices on the menu are reasonable. The food is great and the atmosphere is always friendly and fun! Like I said before, the best place in town!

Food wasn't bad BUT did NOT like that we had to go to bar to order our food. We were a group of 4 and when we placed our order with the bartender, we ordered wings and nachos and 2 burgers and 2 brisket sandwiches.. ALL the food came out at once. Now anyone with common sense in the restaurant business could figure out that we ordered app's then entrees. When a server comes to a table the first thing they write is the # of people in a party. This doesn't happen when you have to write your order on a back of scrap paper, then bring it up to the bar and order yourself. Thought the website was great and again food wasn't bad. Didn't get to enjoy it because we were bombarded with everything at same time.. Nachos went cold, fries went cold.. Just doesn't make sense why management has chosen this style of service. Place has potential for being a fun place with good food but big fail on service. Staff was friendly but this concept just does not work.

Here's my take on the ASR. I would give them a 2.5 star rating if possible and I explain why below. I will definitely go back a few times within the next year to see if it improves. They are a newer business, and the owner appears to read these reviews...It will be very apparent if he actually makes the changes I am suggesting. I will update my review as I go back. The Building: The place is well renovated and looks great. It's got a large bar, good sized seating area, good dance floor, great stage, and room enough for two pool tables. Overall they did a good job with the new layout. Only downside I noticed was the smoking patrons across the entire front of the building. The covered front door area fills with their smoke, and you walk right into it on your way in/out, if there isn't a stiff breeze to clear it out. Tough to control, but might be worth figuring something out. 4 of 5 stars We sat at the bar for a few hours watching bands (which were pretty decent), but more importantly...watching the bartenders. All 4 people in our group were in the bar/restaurant business for many years and we all agreed on the following: 1. The Service: The bartenders need to be trained on how to take orders quickly, make good beverages, and serve them in a timely manner. That or they need to be replaced altogether. They were nice enough young ladies, but both absolutely need a lot of work behind the bar. Very obvious old bad habits from one, and very novice mistakes from the other. I recommend getting them both formally trained, getting a list of good operating procedures, and making sure they follow them! Neither should be dictating anything behind that bar, they just aren't strong enough...YET! It should be very telling for the owner if the bartenders get angry or are motivated to improve themselves by this review. 2 out of 5 stars 2. The Drinks: Very good beer selection on tap! :) Very basic beer selection in bottles! :( Carry at least a few good micro brews in bottles, it's just good practice. The very basic mixed drinks were basically really bad! Change the juice brands ASAP, they are absolutely terrible! (Lemonade, cranberry, OJ) Alcohol content was inconsistent between every drink the group had. 2 of 5 stars 2. The Food: We were there late, so we weren't sure who was cooking, but here is our take. We had wings, quesadillas, fish tacos, pulled pork, and Jambalaya. The wings (Sriracha Honey) were cooked perfectly, but the sauce was subpar...it needs work or it was rushed. Could be a good sauce if done right. The quesadilla was big but VERY bland. Nothing special at all. The fish tacos were just plain bad. Bland, very wet, with a little heat thrown in. These need to be fixed...as fish tacos need to be on point! Looked better than they tasted. The pork was decent but nothing to rave over. Good roll, decent sauce, drier meat. The Jambalaya was good, not great. I'm not sure who's giving the stellar reviews on it, but again it's nothing to rave about. If this is one of the signature dishes...they're selling themselves short. Sweet potato fries were very good and the collard greens were decent. A little more effort put into cooking this menu will go a very long way. It's a decent menu overall, but step up your game chef...don't get comfortable back there! 2 of 5 stars for the food (on this night). Overall 2.5 stars Overall our first experience was a good time, at a nice place, with bad service, subpar food, and terrible drinks. We will definitely go back a few times and try more menu items and see if any changes are made. I hope the owner reads this and takes this honest review seriously. It's just constructive criticism. I will definitely change my rating based on my next few experiences going there. Good luck and I wish your establishment all the best!

Place always seems dead really a hillbilly spot which I hear it's better than what it user to be food is nothing special seems old staff is friendly but that's about the only good thing ,also food is over priced for old BBQ sandwiches and bar food, I had the jambalaya which was 18 dollars and was terrible I got the same thing at sergeantsville in for 16 and it was delicious and fresh. I went in tonight for quick beer (which I guess it's another plus large beer selection) band playing sounded like every other band I ever heard there, got some fries which were really oily and Salty! I don't see this place lasting long is beautiful inside but over priced for not so good food it's a shame they did a great job renovating and have a pretty nice staff

Love coming here, it's close to my house. Food is always good as well as drinks. Large selection of beer. They almost always have some live music happening, but it's never too loud. My only complaint would be the uncomfortable chairs. They also have 2 pool tables, not many bars have that these days.
