This Restaurant is included in the category of Steak house.
The atmosphere was beautifully cozy with excellent service. Wait staff was very friendly. Bone-in ribeyes were delicious! I'm not a fan of the house steak sauce but thankfully, like any good steak, these needed no additional flavoring. Heirloom Tomato salad was also amazing.
This place was an amazing. The food, the drinks and the atmosphere. Our waiter Joe gave us outstanding service. I definitely recommend this place.
Best Steak in the City! The NYC Cut is insane, best steak I've ever had, hands down. The chili lobster is crazy good, the dry aged potatoes, the carrot, just amazing. Service is solid, make you feel like a king. Great wines. I will definitely go back!
Amazing dinner. Lost a star cause my steak was overcooked. Was too hungry and if i sent it back i'd be eating while everyone was done. (I asked for rare, and it was closer to medium.) Other than that, twas quite a great meal. The dry-aged prime rib and pastrami steaks actually force my hand to say they'd give Double Eagle a run for their money. The bread is absolutely amazing. All the little details. Oysters were meh... Not because of what or where... But because whoever shucked them did a meh job... Shell pieces and "dirt" ruin oysters... Even if it's just 1 in a dozen. I see big things for this joint if all the people can keep up the standard the chef has made.
Great food and service, and super sleek decor.....unique menu options like spicy lobster and pastrami steak to change it up.....
Great steak!
The best hands down
Get the surf and turf. If you want cauliflower you have to go to the Tribeca location.
Best bartender ever. Smart, quick, just on the ball!
Great Toma Hawk Steak
Horrible service great steak
American Cut is definitely one of my favorite steakhouses in Manhattan. It's like classic New York reminiscent of the '60s, and a little badass. I would like to classify eating here as glamorous, graceful dining: you’re welcomed through a carpeted hallway with vintage framed photographs hung on walls; you get seated in roomy, plush, leather chairs; drinks including an old-fashioned, steak, and most menu selections require an elaborate presentation. And yes, they're all delicious. A little pricy but worth it.
Nice scene w/ a lot of energy, however food is average. We had the Tomahawk and found it to be overly fatty. Great location for drinks at the bar... but eat somewhere else.
I dined here on a Tuesday evening for a company dinner. Upon walking in was the bar followed by their beautiful classically designed dining room. The service was amazing, especially from Joe, our lead server. The food was great. I was with a group of 30 people and everyone left full and happy. Even on a Tuesday it was a bit loud but the overall experience was great. I would recommend this restaurant.
Fantastic atmosphere and decor, while still maintaining a quiet noise level. Food is beautifully prepared and presented, Wagyu steak cuts are brought to the table for selection and are delicious. Staff are extremely courteous and polite.
I took my adult family here to celebrate my son's accomplishments. He recently became a doctor and passed his boards with flying colors. I offered him "anything you want", and he wanted a steak. I immediately thought of American Cut because of my experience with the Tribeca location. There, they put forth an effort in food preparation and service that I thought worthy of the occasion. Out of convenience, I selected the American Cut midtown location. I started to regret my decision as soon as I walked in. The rug is filthy, and the air smelled stale and like the place needed a good cleaning. Dirty glass of the front door wasn't a welcoming sight, either My thoughts already started to be "my son deserves better, for all of his hard work, and mine in earning for what I'll be paying for this". I was the first to arrive. "Is someone going to offer to take my coat?". I requested it, and they did. Hmmm. I went to the men's room to wash my hands and comb my hair. The men's urinal was overflowing, and it wasn't with clear water. Guess what color it was. Disgusting. Don't you have any respect? Family arrives, and I'm feeling as though I've failed them by bringing them here. We are shown our table, and that's fine. Service is ok, but not for an upscale restaurant. The food is good, but I will never trust the American Cut brand again. I can get a great steak, and have an atmosphere of dignity at a large selection of other great NYC steakhouses. American Cut will no longer be a choice. I still owe my son a suitable reward for his excellence. This place could not deliver the appropriate reward. Really disappointed.
American Cut Steakhouse has a throwback, masculine feel to it. Maybe the designers wanted to evoke a Madmen feel. The artwork and pictures suggest that - there's even an R-rated framed photo of a woman and an old-style NYPD car in the men's bathroom. The bar area that you enter through is quite dark and has an old-school bar feel. The smokey Old Fashioned is a signature drink and worth ordering just for the theatrics of the fire for the smoke! As for the food, food quality is high and presentation is sublime. And it better be at their prices - this is an expense account or splurge destination. It's a steakhouse, so get the steak! I found service to be very attentive, but disturbingly slow. Our waiter apologized and tried to explain what happened when presenting the check. That's why I knocked off a star.
Delicous... great taste of the steaks!
Review of a special food event at American Cut American Cut brought all of its chops with hospitality, food and a live demo. The highlight of the night was the chef’s live demo with a porterhouse. With a full event, the staff did a very good job distributing the appetizers, entrees and desserts. The everything biscuit was a real star and I could have eaten four of those biscuits. The Caesar salad bites were very refreshing. I would have liked to have more steak but you always want more steak, right? The restaurant is a very elegant and standard steakhouse. The best part is that it did not feel stuffy or uptight. There was an excellent food and with great service. Finally, the mini desserts were extremely tasty. We look forward to coming back for another meal.
Didn't force us to order from the prix fix menu on New Year's Eve like many other places did. Filet mignon was decent, not great. Menu tries a little too hard to be unique on some of the side dishes and misses some standard favorites. Overall a B-.
Best quality steaks...Love it..
I eat in this spot a lot since I work close by. I like how the customer service is always awesome and they keep the spot well organized consistently. Prices are fair and they serve sizeable portions.
A lovely place to dine
Loved it..
Sides were the best part of the meal with my favorite being the asparagus. Some of the appetizers were over salted and the steak was under salted. Service was very good.
I was extremely excited to celebrate my birthday there, sadly I was running late. My party was there already and waiting for me to come, and I did inform the staff I was running late because of traffic(Christmas weekend). She told me the kitchen closed at 11 and as long as I made it there before 11 I was fine. I arrived around 10:30 and my party was outside in the cold and they closed the restaurant. I found that to be extremely crazy and disrespectful being that she told me it’s no problem I was running late. This completely ruined my night and I wouldn’t recommend coming here to anyone !!
Very good. Steak had a little too much salt.
Good food, but WAY too expensive
Unique experience, great food
Amazing specialty cocktails, must try one of their smoked cocktails. drinks are a decent size and strong
Food was good, service was very good.
Simply superb.
Bartender Matt is very friendly.
So, so gooood!!!
meh
Went here for NYC restaurant week. Had amazing steak with friendly service
Wow just wow we had literally a perfect meal everything was perfect. The courses came out in such good timing that didn't notice how long we were there for that evening
Met a friend for a drink. Beautiful bar area with an excellent cocktail menu and very nice selection of wines by the glass.
Handling a group of 9 hungry jet-lagged did not work well yesterday. Although we arranged a reservation at 8:15, had been there ahead of time and promised a table soon,... just in 2 minutes, and so on ......until several complaints we finally had a table 60 minuted later!!! Meanwhile an other group arriving later was seated ahead of us. I dont mind if they advertise delays to be expected but never make false promised. Surprisingly two brand of beer were sold out at 8:15pm and the famous fat french frise also were not available, 8 bisquits and butter were served with great proud as a starter, although we had been 9 party-goer, indicating bad logistics; improvement of service appreciated. Steak, other side dishes and athmosphere were fine.
I took a client here for dinner . The food is great love the porterhouse aged steak is melt in the mouth . The service was great until when we were about to leave. Asked for the check 3 times noone bring us the check and we waited over 40 minutes and the server Is no where to be found beside that overall is great .
It was ok. I expected it to be little better.
Fantastic service! Joe was a treat of a server. Definitely made our night. The chef definitely knows their stuff! Our dry aged porterhouse was absolutely delectable, and the table side preparation of the marrow sauce was fantastic.
Great steak. Nice bar. Pricey but worth it.
Amazing service and even better steaks. The Washugyu steak was amazing.
Great steak and service
Excellent classic American steakhouse. Service is outstanding and the steaks are great.
Great atmosphere and vibe! Very professional service and delicious plates
I loved the ambiance and food. And, I highly recommend to visit this high-class restaurant.
I expected better quality food, it was just good but not perfect
Great food
Went here for a LVD hospitality event for my job and it was great! Food they serve was amazing!
My favorite steakhouse in Manhattan! Service is excellent, the ambiance/decor is beautiful with modern elegance. You can't go wrong with anything you order even down to the burger and fries (best I've ever had). Make sure to leave room for dessert because they are worth it ... especially the Crackerjack Sundae.
Only giving two stars because our first visit back in the summer was enjoyable and as a result we couldn’t wait to return...to what turned out to be a total and complete disappointment! Although restaurant was far from being full on a Friday night we weren’t seated in the main dining room. The only good food was bread; the rest was just horrible. Plain and tasteless appetizers, cold and overcooked steaks that came with some burnt potato chips that weren’t edible, the dessert tasted like it was from the freezer section in the supermarket...all of it during Restaurant Week! Service was just as bad; our server didn’t bother to ask if we want coffee until good 15 minutes after the dessert was served. Waste of time and money, we will not return.
Great food and service. Went for Restaurant Week. My wife had from the pre fixe menu and I ordered from the regular menu. We have been there several times and have enjoyed the evening every time.
Excellent service. Great atmosphere.
Nice high end steak place.
Great steaks and superior customer service. Also a fantastic wine menu with a keen selection that offers great pairings at various price points. A competitive restaurant with NYC's juggernaut steakhouses for sure.
Great steak
Simply amazing food and atmosphere.
Music was really loud. Hard to have a business dinner
It was a very good place to come and eat but it's restaurant week so we couldn't taste other foods from their main menu because the selection was limited. But I'm pretty sure that it's amazing. I had the brick chicken it was pretty great. And my friend had the burger. And he said that it was good not your typical burger but nothing extra special. Overall we rate it a 3.5 out of 5 stars.
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Steak was delicious and amazing with the lobster and sauce.
Nice place kinda has the john wick feeling when your first walk in
Sounds like I will be going there sometime in the future. I am definitely a lady that lives adores meat.
This steakhouse stands out because of its unique dishes. The chili lobster is definitely a favorite. It’s almost like a soup or gumbo with a unique flavor that’s spicy and salty with a hint of sweetness. Chunks of lobster meat and comes with some big pieces of Texas toast to sop up the broth when you’re done with the lobster. Also the pastrami ribeye is so good. Unique way to do a ribeye. Not too salty either which you might expect from pastrami flavors. But it doesn’t overpower the flavor of the meat. Tomahawk ribeye was also a real treat, one of the best I’ve had. And even the small details like the everything bagel spiced biscuits they bring you while you wait to order. Complete with veggie butter, an ode to veggie cream cheese. So many options here you’d have to go a few times to try things. A bit pricey, but worth it.
Porterhouse tableside was amazing
My colleague and I went here for a few drinks. Nothing to complain. I guess a bit pricey, but it's midtown Manhattan and it looks marvelous with a great atmosphere, so I suppose that's only right.
The meat is great for sure but it's a bit overpriced and noisy
It was a good place and the food was delicious but the bartender helper ignored us many times, and all we wanted was another drink
This would get a 5 but it is pretty expensive! yet I will say it was one of the best steaks I've had!
The best in NYC
We had a group of 10 in a semi-private dining room for a 40th birthday dinner. The service was impeccable. Our waiter was seemingly ever-present without hovering. The steak tartare was fantastic! We had three different steaks for the table, and each was not only amazing, but very different from the other. The sides we chose were also delicious! Be sure to try the Carrot Glazed Carrot! What an amazing evening made possible by American Cut Midtown, Thank you!!! We will be back!
Excellent steak. Good shrimp. Not a big fan of the dessert.
Great sliders. Good cocktails
Simply the best.
I was originally apprehensive at going to American Cut, trying to sift through all of the annoying Restaurant Week spam. I will say that I am extremely glad I ended up going here, it was a fantastic experience. My experience may have been better than average because I went at a down time, so we had plenty of attention from the wait staff and didn't have to wait (regardless of my reservation). The foie gras was perfectly seared, with two sauces and pink peppercorn. Excellent, modern presentation with some bits of crispy bread to offer some textural crunch aside the soft liver. The "everything" biscuits were fantastic; biscuits made in the style of an everything bagel. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, served with a delicious compound butter. For my main course, I got the 40oz tomahawk, dry aged for 30 days. It came *beautifully* seared and medium rare. This was among the best pieces of meat I've ever consumed. Incredibly moist, crispy sear, and cooked to the perfect temperature. Gorgeous work. The butter sauce that came with it was flambeed table-side, complete with a big flare up from a shot of whiskey. They brought us the full array of sauces, in addition to the flambeed butter sauce: a creamy bearnaise, a red wine sauce, a vibrant chimichurri, and the maitre d'hotel butter. A whole bulb of roasted garlic was on the side, which was used in the flambe... towards the end of my meal I was literally eating cloves of whole roasted garlic off the plate. Everything was perfect. They say the tomahawk is for 2 people, but I ate almost all of it myself. If you're hungry and determined, you can solo it. We had two sides, the twice baked potato and the fries. The fries were some great, standard fries. Crispy and salty, good pairing with that secret sauce. The twice backed potato was superbly garlicky. For desert, I had a delicious key lime pie. Perfectly tart with a savory crust, and nicely toasted meringue on top. The sorbet was an interesting flavor combination that worked very well: the hibiscus gave a nice floral flavor, while the coconut rounded it out with some sweetness. The sweeter sorbet and the more tart key lime pie was pulled together with a nice spread of a blackberry sauce across the plate. Great presentation, great flavor. I just kept eating. The food was so good, that I just never got full. The service was fantastic. Just attentive enough to be helpful but not overly attentive to the point of being intrusive.
The atmosphere was nice customer service was great food was great
Loved sitting with friends sharing all these amazing on and off menu items! Enriched!
Great service and food. Went here for restaurant week. The steaks are small though!
The food was very good but this place has an unparalleled attraction which in my opinion makes it unique in the city. Their smoked old fashioned! Go even if just for a drink!
Weird venue space.
Super delicious steak with nice staffs.
The service was great and the food was amazing!
Worst steak ever had
Went here for a midweek guy's night dinner with some co-workers. The chili lobster is one of the best dishes I've had in a long time. Excellent steak cuts as well. Very chill bar area in the first room after you walk in. Great service from the staff. Our large group felt very well taken care of while we were there.
Outstanding food and service. Great ambiance.
One amazing place
Portions were little
Loved the bread and the octopus appetizer! I also like the ordering the raw oysters at the bar.
In the beginning Prometheus brought fire to man and man was happy. Then man brought cow to fire and man was happier. Millenniums later, man was invited to American Cut Steakhouse as part of an Elite event. Walking into the steakhouse and seeing the wood-paneled walls and smell of rich mahogany suggests elegance and refined tastes. After having a few delicious drinks and fantastic Caesar salad bites, we were treated to a table-side coking of a porterhouse with flaming bone marrow butter. While pouring liquid fire over a piece of cooked meat is usually a path directly to my heart (and arteries due to the butter), this cut of meat tasted a bit tough. If anything I was more impressed by New York City Cut, as it had a much smokier flavor and didn't require a buzz saw to chew through. While the main attraction left a bit to be desired, many of the ensemble cast performed well above their weight class. The crab cakes and steak tartare were both highlights, flavorful and served in unique formats. Overall, American Cut hasn't made its way into the pantheon of fantastic NYC steakhouses, but does provide a unique interpretation on the medium
Great steak and great service. Love the tomahawk for two cause you can give the bone to your dog since they don't marinate the bone in garlic. :)
The service is excellent, drinks are delicious. The Porterhouse steak was amazing cooked medium as requested. The only reason I’m not giving America Cut 5 stars is due to the lack of flavor in Mac and cheese. Which I was so looking forward to enjoyingv with my steak.
Great biscuits with everything bagel seasoning and really tasty diced veggies butter. Steak was done perfectly.
Hmm I want to say Downtown one is better
Excellent service, tasty steaks, expensive!
Great food with a nice intimate atmosphere.
Excellent steak place. Good bar and great service. Got a private room behind the bar are which is nice.
Great atmosphere, beautiful food presentation, delicious food
We made a reservation for 7:30 3 days in advance. We did not get seated until an hour later. Once we sat down it took us another 15 minutes to get drinks. As soon as our waiter found out we were ordering from the “restaurant week” menu he barely came to our table. I ordered steak, my friend ordered chicken. Neither of the meats had ANY flavor. The chicken looked like it was boiled and then friend. And was the most tasetless, dry awful thing I have ever put inside my mouth. McDonald’s serves better grilled chicken, honestly. The steak was under cooked (and I asked for medium rare) it came out still bleeding. In total the bill was $57, so it wasn’t bad but for It being such an expensive restaurant I expected better service and MUCH better food. The salted caramel ice cream and cookies that came with the bill were amazing though. I could see them going out of business and becoming an ice cream shop.
No table was empty on a bustling Tuesday night in New York City. I went on a "date night" with my partner and enjoyed the Chili Lobster with Texas Toast as an appetizer and shared the NY Strip and Bell & Evans Chicken (our favorite) as our entrees. For dessert we had the cheesecake- which was worth every bite. Stunning decor. Service was impeccable. Highly recommend for business lunches, corporate dinners and date nights (of course).
Great place to eat. The filet was amazing!
For a steakhouse the tomahawk presentation was decent, yet we expected a more flavorful cut and price over value. The service was very good I must add.
Great service and great food, loved it.
A restaurant where I'm unclear as to why they had such glowing reviews service was sparse, and their main appetizer was "carrot glazed carrots." Suffice to say, I was underwhelmed. Standard steakhouse fare, but definitely not worth 5 stars.
We visited NY last april, and this restaurant blew my mind. The food and staff were amazing, I’ve never had an experience like this before. Expensive, but worth it.
Typical trendy steakhouse with a very loud and noisy atmosphere. Service, although polite, is consistently attempting to upselling everything and hustle your along. Food is good as it is in the majority of typical restaurants in NYC
Our waiter was the best and the food was great! Always get the chili lobster bisque...it has a lot of lobster and is delicious.
Great location, excellent food
Highly recommend this steakhouse if you're willing to splurge. The free
Restaurant was very clean and comfortable. The steak was cooked perfectly. Please try the aged potatoes, truly delisious. Would highly recommend this steak house. Only complaint is that it was a little loud and it was a little bit dark for my liking, but the food was amazing. Totally not the restaurants fault that it was loud, soooo worth the sacrifice. Go well worth going to!
Had the filet, was very good. Sides were sufficient nothing crazy. Atmosphere is dim and intimate. Service was pretty good.
Great food, excellent service
The dinner rolls have a crispy shell and buttery filling and taste like an everything bagel. The service is excellent and the cocktails are delicious. While I prefer cooking my own steak, this steakhouse is a nice upscale restaurant to celebrate any occasion.
Went here on 4/10 for a work dinner. Food and drinks were pretty good. Had the Wagyu steak and it was delicious. Only downside was myself and two colleagues got food poisoning from the dinner :(
Exceptional and cozy, this place has a masterful array of delights for midtown carnivores. The bacon appetizer will levitate you.
Beautiful
classic steakhouse fare with new flare
Our waitress Jessica was outstanding. She was super helpful in choosing our meals and very patient while explaining the menu as it was our first time there. The octopus appetizer was smokey and tender. My steak, ordered rare, came out medium. Jessica was so sweet I didn't want to bother her or get her in trouble. My husband got their signature 'city cut' Ribeye with 2 fried eggs on top. It went perfectly with the biscuits they served at the table. For dessert I ordered the cake of the day which was a chocolate banana cake. It showed well but fell short on taste and texture. The icing was way way way too buttery and the cake it self was flat tasting and slightly over baked. all together it was a one note dish. I was disappointed. The espresso was delicious as was the cappuccino.
A steakhouse by legendary iron chef Mark Forgione. Incredible food beautiful atmosphere and a flavor profile that crushes most steakhouses in New York City
My wife and I dined here on New Year's Eve. The atmosphere was classy with a romantic feel. I ordered a prickly pear martini, while my wife tried a cosmo. My drink was a little sour tasting. For dinner we ordered the hotel ceasar, the porterhouse for two, twice baked potato, and wild mushrooms. The hotel ceasar was delicious. The porterhouse was properly cooked (medium rare). It was very good, but not as flavorful as some of the other upscale steakhouses I've dined at. The twice baked potato and wild mushrooms were okay. The service was fairly slow, but since it was New Year's Eve we didn't mind. This is a nice place to go if you're looking for a modern steakhouse with romantic vibes.
One of the best steaks in NYC! Great food, service and ambiance!
Good but expensive.
Not bad, but nothing spectacular
Food lacked originality and flavor... wouldn't go again.
Manager is excellent, service above and beyond what I expected. the food was delicious, recommend the spinach and the mushrooms, the fries were just okay the porterhouse for 2 was perfect
We love this place! 4 times here, food is better each time. If you're having a drink, try the smoked old fashioned!
Excellent service and steak. Also had the Mac n Cheese app. Probably the best Mac n Cheese I've ever had. Highly recommend.
Every once and awhile you go to a place that’s a heart melter and this was it. It was sweet, quiet, comfortable and the BEST steak I’ve ever had.. anywhere. Loved our server Peter and his team and the chairs made me not want to leave. No one wants to sit on a wooden chair when they are enjoying a beautiful meal with loved ones. Felt like a lucky ace to find this gem. Thank you to my son and his girlfriend for the recommendation. A must do in NYC!!!!
Excellent service will love to visit again
Best smoked old fashion in NYC!
I am satisfied with everything
Atmosphere and waiter were very nice. The bread and butter were amazing. We got thr roads shell crabs which were good and the chili lobster which had a very velvetti sauce but gr lobster was raw in the middle. I order the tomahawk steak for $145 and got it med well. It was born from thr outside and dry from the inside. I was expecting a premium steakhouse to do a proper sear and an even cook on the steak but I was sadly mistaken. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this place to have steak.
The pretzels here are very good.
Food was ok.
Porterhouse flambé is amazing!!
Peter was an amazing server and anyone who dines here is lucky to have him. However, the overall experience wasn't even close to the expectation. We were sat at a dirty table, waiter gave us wrong directions to the bathroom, and the drinks we ordered before our dinner had to be delivered by the hostess after asking us twice what we had ordered. I must say though, the food...omg...!!!! Bomb!! All and all hats off to Peter and the Chef!
Amazing service and outstanding food. Highly recommended. The best wine selection.
This is a review of an event I attended at American Cut. I had an opportunity to visit this restaurant for an event. They have another location in SOHO, also, they are a part of LDV Hospitality group. They have few restaurants under the group, like Scarpetta, Lugo Cucina Italiana, Paramount Bar & Grill, and more. And that is just in NYC. They have a very nice, classy bar, with good amount of seating. There is a dining room to the right of the bar. It was much larger than I thought. It was again elegant, classy and sophisticated look. At this event, I got to sample some of their food offerings: Soft Baked Pretzel Bites, Everything Biscuits, Steak Tartare, OG 1024 Hotel Caesar Salad Bites, New York City Cut 20 oz. Bone-In Ribeye (bite-size), 40 oz. Prime 28-day Dry Aged Porterhouse Steak (bite-size), and all kinds of desserts. They were all very tasty and good quality. The staffs here were friendly, polite and efficient. They kept the area of the event as clean as possible. We had a very nice event event here thanks to the staffs of American Cut. I would love to visit one or more of the LDV Group restaurants in the near future.
Fantastic food, drinks and service! One of my go-to places!
Not bad, but not excellent either. It was a bit too noisy for my taste. Food was good and waiters were friendly.
Fantastic service and menu!!
Terrible Service. Went with a group, forgot one persons main dish. Never explained what was happening. Food either bland or over salted. Waitstaff never checked up on us to refill water. Such a bad experience, I couldn't wait to get out of there. For a steak place in midtown you are better off going elsewhere.
Good food, great service!
Came here for '17 summer restaurant week and the food was okay. We had to sit around the bar area since they apparently didn't have any seats available. I wasn't crazy about the menu since I'm pescatarian and this is a steakhouse. However, my friends had the Bell & Evans chicken and filet mignon, which I heard was delicious. Chilled Corn Soup- 3/5 This had a decent sized piece of crab and then one really juicy tomato, it was satisfying but nothing worth raving about, except the tomato, maybe. The crab also had some shells in it.. but that's okay. Dad's Planked Salmon- 3.5/5 I think the salmon was still alive, the inside was so raw! Salmon should either be raw or well done. This was in between and I wasn't really a fan of that. I'm surprised that a $$$$ restaurant wouldn't ask how I'd like my salmon.. but I forget to let them know. Waffle Fries- 2/5 I never knew waffle fries could taste so bad until I had this one. These were thin unlike the traditional thick waffle fries, which made them taste too crunchy, not in a good way. They were sorta burnt but came out cold. And beer cheese? WHERE? Cracker Jack Sundae- 4/5 This was really yummy! I enjoyed the caramel popcorn in my popcorn icecream. Chocolate Bread Pudding- 3.5/5 The chocolate was a bit too chocolatey in my opinion, but still tasty.
I loved the entire experience here. Had an awesome time. They use Creekstone Beef which is some of the best American Beef grown in America and it is also a zabiha halal beef. Asked my waiter to prepare it in a halal manner and he knew exactly my ask before I finished my sentence (not surprised as this is NYC and people are somewhat more aware of these things) the ribeye was cooked to absolute perfection. Would definitely go back. Super expensive so not for the weak of heart.
Best steak house in NY
Wonderful restaurant week menu. Only drawback is very noisy, but I do keep coming back.
Good bar scene, great food...... you won't be disappointed
The food was fine, but nothing special, and certainly not worth the price. The portion sizes were unbelievably small... but the food was a 4/5. The tables are too big to have a conversation, and the clientele can get rowdy. Not a great place for a date, but okay for a business dinner, maybe.
Fantastic wine list. Good service. Great atmosphere. The bar is awesome. Food is good, but nothing AMAZING.
I have been there twice. Save your money.
Great service. Mediocre food that is way over priced for the quality. Steak was "blah". There are way better steak houses in NYC.
Horrible people, just plain rude Food was ok
Incredible service. Great environment. Outstanding food and wines. Impressive!
Went for restart week. Food was good. I like the soup and fillet mignon. There were two disappointing things... They kept trying to rush (because we were a cheap restaurant week group?) Another thing is their dessert caused my friend's allergy. Our waitress told us it did not contain egg, but my friend strongly doubts. Well, first of all, our waitress didn't even asked us if anybody is allergic to something... I think I won't come back.
Actually was really great. I liked it a lot better then Gallagher's or Benjamin Prime's. Great seating, food , drinks and service. We had a couple of the smoked old fashioned whiskies and shared some porterhouse steaks. Mac and cheese was great along with the spinach.
My sister brought me her for my birthday and everything was delicious! We came here for restaurant week for dinner. I got the onion soup with truffle and she got the salad; both were so tasty! We got the petite filet mignon (which was so incredibly tender; it literally melts in your mouth!!) For dessert, I got the sundae and she got the chocolate cake. Definitely bring your appetite when you come here!
