My experiences here have been much like a see-saw... Sometimes up, sometimes down. The last visit I made a couple weeks ago was lackluster and a bit overpriced {weekends have higher prices} with my bill coming to $16.50 with drink included. Anecdotally, someone commented that now each refill costs $2 and the wait-staff will replenish your drink without asking. If true, that's a big faux-pas to say the least. And no crab legs included. I have had some really good experiences here and the staff is very hospitable but also there are times were the quality and offerings are middling at best.

Worse buffet I had try.. Food was bad. You will regret it. The place is clean but the food is tasteless and overcooked. Don't waste your money. Place was empty. Not fresh food. I was there for dinner. Not recommend

Food was OK, but some of it was was on the cold side. Also, a very limited selection. Probably try the Hibachi next time where they cook it in front of you.

Good Chinese buffet food. For dinner the spare ribs were really good, so was the Hibachi chicken. All the dishes looked fresh. Reasonable prices for dinner. This is a very good choice for dinner.

Fried chicken good, LoMein bland, fried rice bland, general chicken good. Orders tuna sushi , never made after 3 request 15 minutes later. People very nice.

The hostess and the waitresses are friendly and great. The buffet is always clean, warm and they always make sure it is stocked with delicious food which they have a good selection.

Food needs love. Sushi were half decent, the beef in the hibachi section was a cheap cut that tasted almost like liver, buffet has a poor variety and most plates that we tried were pretty much flavorless. I remember going there few years ago when it was named Joy buffet if I remember well. The experience was not perfect but hey, let's give them a second chance, especially that they say it's new ownership. If you don't mind the decor being like an hospital and the food going accordingly, then it's a good place for you, otherwise if I were you, I'd think twice.

The squid and other type of seafood in the dessert table really grossed me out, not to mention my allergies to seafood kept me from eating dessert. They should make room for that somewhere else other than the dessert table..I would have rated this place higher than 2 stars but I have never seen a buffet that presents desserts with seafood. Yuck!

Aka Joy Buffet, Whoa ! Wait ! Ask yourself a question? " How hungry am I feeling today?" Or how much am I a gluten for pain. Okay, it was near the end of the night but I ain't mad if you throw out the rice that has been sitting in the cooler all day, or the beef and bark that should have been thrown out yesterday... I will be back ! ( Maybe, I was in a bad mood or something)

Horrible buffet and it made me sick. Food is tasteless even on a very busy night when the food is constantly being refilled. Suhsi bar is a joke and isn't real, never bothered to try the other seafood options but heard from other reviews that it isn't real. That expected from a Chinese buffet but still this place advertises how good there sushi is. Went here about 6 times and the past 2 times wernt good. Also the amount of msg they used last time I was there was unbelievable. And whatever they put in the food made me sick. Only reason this isn't getting 2 stars because the food was ok/good the other times. Would highly recommend chengs buffet over this.

The staff was really nice! The food however was honestly just bad. A lot of selection but non of it very good. The noodles were dry and the sushi was bland. I was excited to see whole crabs but took one bite from a claw and the meat was mushy and tasted wrong. The little sugar donuts were super good though!

The food was bland and Cold, the lomaine was also overcooked. And the atmosphere off setting was unsure about the sushi and any other food. And I'm a sushi fan, but this place had something not quite right. Plus there wasn't much to choose from in the buffet.

Worst buffet ever to! I came at 1:30pm on a friday with a friend. First tried the won ton soup Forget it tasteless. Then went to buffet Tried peppers and beef. Seriously could have used a steak knife to cut beef. Mist food was not hot! Much of it looked dried out. Went to hibachi it was good but their selection of items was limited. Shrimp were over cooked. No soft serve ice cream. Over all 10 dollar plus tip was not bad price but food was awful

A 2019 reincarnation of the Joy Buffet, the 19 is so far exceeding expectations. The food has been fresh and delicious every one of the 1/2 dozen times I've been there since the reopening. The hibachi grill is a nice touch and has been included in the buffet every time. I hope that they continue this! There is a mix of Chinese, seafood, and plain old Americanized fare that should find your finickyest eaters licking their lips.

We stopped on the way to cape May , the food was excellent!! There wasn't one thing that wasn't good! The even gave my grandson a balloon off the display! What a great place to eat!

Food was not good at all....had no selection 14.99 for dinner and 9.99 for kids 3 to 10 on July 4th....crab leg were extra...mostly desserts not many meal choices at all sorry but if it was good I'd say it was but by far standards there are so they can just get by.....and food looks like left overs like they have either been sitting for hours or was saved and recooked

The lunch buffet was good and there were plenty of dishes to choose from. The tables and serving area were spotless. I ate myself silly but was disappointed that there was no soft serve ice cream for dessert. The ladies who work there were very attentive and friendly. It was great to get away from the summertime crowd down here and out of the heat. I would eat there again.

This is when they first opened we were quoted a price on the phone about a week before we went when we got there the price was higher I assume they raised it because it was a holiday weekend personally I don't think they had a big selection of food most of the stuff I was looking for they didn't have I live about 15 minutes from there I'd actually rather drive another 5 minutes and go to the buffet in Mays Landing much bigger selection

The place was empty when we walked in for dinner. I should of taken that as a sign. The food was not fresh AT ALL!! EVERYTHING looked as though it was sitting for hours. Thank goodness for the Hibatchi, otherwise none of us would of had a hot meal. As we were eating, the owners (I'm assuming) were sitting near us eating their dinner, the gentleman was speaking SO LOUDLY in Chinese (I think) that it was a bit annoying. Our bill was approx. $80.00, the WORST money I have EVER EVER spent. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this buffet, nor will I EVER GO BACK.

Not really sure how to rate this because I have been to eat a few times and it seemed clean and food was good . Well I went today and used the bathroom for the first time , of course after I ate. I was totally grossed out mouse droppings everywhere and dead bugs on the floor (roaches) . It looked like the bathroom floor wasn't cleaned for days for the amount of droppings all along the baseboards. I feel like throwing up just writing this as I enjoyed going here to until today

I guess we came at the wrong time.......half of the food was cooked to temperature. Half of the food was cold. I believe that the food was cooked, but the lamps/tables were having power issues. Within ten minutes, fresh food was out and it was very hot and tasted great. Ten minutes too late unfortunately. I will not be coming back here.

Ok my BF and i have been here. The food isnt up to temp. It wasnt under cooked or raw but it was cold. Its sitting in a steam table and some of the food is cold. That isnt good. Its the old joy buffet building. They did re paint the inside.
