Can't say enough good things about this place. Food is cooked just the way you want it. Service can be a tad slow due to the number of people but always first rate. Price point is with the quality of the food. The owner feeds the homeless on the holidays out of his own pocket and the goodness of his heart. A must go to.

Fast and friendly service in a family environment. Home cooked style meal with good portions ( couldn’t finish all of it). Small salad is bigger than some large served elsewhere. Used reviews to help me decide to try it a first, and saw owner answers all types of feedback showing serious interest in your customer experience. Definitely recommending to everyone. Wonder if they would deliver to the courtyard Marriot.... Great place, thank you.

The worst breakfast place I've ever been to so far. I ordered OL eggs and they wasn't even cooked right. Ordered a side of bacon and I got half of the bacon crisp and half bacon soft ‍ There were no bussers so we had to wait for the server to clean their tables for so long,and the server forgot about us sitting there. Service is not friendly. Didn't like food either. Never going back there. Would not recommend this place.

I have gone to this restaurant for years, especially when my friend Louie ran it. He passed away and now his sons are running it. I was there twice last week. The soups, chowder, all the menu is full of excellent choices!!! Home made and using the best recipes that Louie ever cooked for years!!!! Wonderful job!! So much better than the chain restaurants!!!!! BAR NONE!!!!!

Today marked the second time dining at this location. Saturday morning breakfast rush. Waiter was one of the best waiters, ever. Really I was impressed how he listened and was glad to serve my best friend and I. We ate eggs, toast, breakfast potatoes with onions. Coffee was great.

This is a little hole in the wall, but some of the kindess & hard working people! The food is hot & fresh. They don't mess around. Was there two days in a row. First day great service plenty of coffee. Very friendly staff. The next day 1refill the waitresses never walked around with the pot. When I commented as I was paying the response was "there's only two of them for a whole restaurant, give them a break" . The first day also only had 2 for the restaurant. I keep trying to go to this place but this kind of service is what turns me off.

Good restaurant to go to with your family,I've been going with my sister on Sunday's and it's been great! Staff is wonderful, have never waited long to be seated even when they've been super busy! Food is good, prices are very reasonable,restaurant is clean,wait staff is friendly&service is excellent! Overall a great place to go!

My wife's food was good (she got a buffalo chicken wrap), but mine was so-so. I was met with a little apprehension when I asked for low carb options. I finally decided on my go-to meal for when nothing else is available: a hamburger with no bun and a side of veggies. Veggies tasted like they came out of a can, and the burger tasted like something I could have made at home. We've been here for breakfast in the past and the food was better, but today was a little disappointing.

LOVE THE OWNER AND GOD BLESS HIM..............but...........his staff is so AWFUL and I don;t think he knows because I would think if he did we would do something about it. I always see him busy, but his staff is lazy, indignant, slow, not caring and just looking to make the tip. WOW. I HOPE HE READS THIS I like coming here and supporting this family owned and run business, but somethings go to be done about the servers.............SORRY.......CUZ THEY REALLY SUCK...........and that makes coming here SUCK TOO.

Went to try the restaurant, was very busy. Asked someone how long the wait would be they pointed to a gray haired gentleman, her couldn't be bothered to take 30 seconds to answer. Very rude just waived us off. It must be nice to have so many customers you don't have to concern yourself with how you treat them.

After being at the restaurant at 5:30-7:30pm October 10 2019 the food wasto die for, but there was on problem with my server his name is "paul" he was great to being with but there was some ups and downs with his service tonight. First off this is not to make him sound bad just to inform the owner about this service. First off we had been there for 2 hours because he did not offer us rolls as we were deciding what we wanted, then when my date had coffee but "paul" offers coffee And did not offer anything else. Then our meal was wrong even though we saw him write what our meal was. After that it took him 15 minutes to get us a box for our food after walking by us with another box then my date had to ask for the check after another 5 minutes of waiting there. Also in the mist of this he never asked us if we wanted anything else.

Wonderful waitress who was attentive and very nice to deal with. Relaxed family place. I enjoyed my cheese omelet with the rasin toast $1 upgrade. My wife wasn't happy however with her Greek omelette as the feta cheese completely overwhelmed everything else in the omelette in her opinion. Next time we'll let them know to go easy on the feta as they suggested. :) Added a star for the helpful response from the restaurant.

While the food is good, tonight's service was horrible!!! We walked around 5:30 and there were only 3 other customers already inside. Initially service was ok. Our server, Paul, did not know the specials and when we asked he went to read the board came halfway back to us then approached the other waitress who gave him a piece of paper. He hands it to me. It was on an order sheet, very small and very difficult to read, I gave up after trying to decipher the first 2 items. We order our dinner and requested Clam strips in stead of Clams. Our order comes and there are Clams not Clam strips. He takes the plate back and almost immediately comes back with the Clams removed and proceeds to say it will be a few minutes for the strips. Paul comes over to offer me more coffee to which I politely decline. He never asks if I wanted something else to drink. He then serves 3 other tables with rolls, which we were not offered. We finish our dinner and combine our dishes in preparation for take home and sit patiently... 10 minutes go by and he has not approached us. I catch his eye as he goes by to ask for a box, he acknowledges. Another 15 minutes goes by and still no box!! I catch his eye again and he throws his hands up and nods. Box finally appears and we pack up the leftovers, 8 minutes later he still has not approached us to see if we wanted anything else or to offer dessert. I catch his eye yet again and ask for the check.. he nods and goes to get it. Check is on the table with my card on top very visibly. He proceeds to walk by us another 3 times, the last time I ask if I bring it up or does he take it, he takes it and comes back. As a result I left less than a 10% tip. As we left I asked the other server if he was new, she said no... after explaining the situation she suggested talking to the manager. I shared with the "manager" our experience, to which he responded with "I'm very sorry to hear that" multiple times. And that he would talk with him later tonight. He also said "Hope you'll come back". I said we'd think about it. No offer to rectify the situation.... Now I wasn't looking for anything however an offer to come back with an appetizer or dessert on the house would have been a nice gesture!! I felt as though the tone from the manager was fake as he didn't come across sincere. We will most likely go back however it may be sometime before that happens and you can bet we will be sure to get a different server!!!

Horrible uncooked bacon and a folded fried egg omelet. Might want to add to the menu it's not a typical omelet over cooked and basically a folded fried egg. Plus if you dont like your food they still charge you and to get it off your bill you got to take it to manager yourself and explain why in detail what's wrong with the food and then be talked down too like you have no clue what your talking about what a joke take your business elsewhere.

The Windmill has typically has been been our go to restaurant for comfort food at affordable prices, but tonight was a bad experience. Not sure what the issue was but took about 25 minutes to get our food. The corn chowder appeared to have been frozen and had separated and was very salty. I ordered chopped sirloin steak and asked for gravy on it. The meal was brought to the table after a long wait and was absent of the gravy. My wife ordered the tuna melt and it was very dry and the cheese had hardened and dried out. Then to top it off after we finished the waitress dropped of the bill and it was about 20 minutes before she returned to cash us out.

Family environment. You feel it as soon as you enter the door. Whether it is your first visit or you go there regularly, you are greeted as if you you are coming back. With that said, just relax. You can enter from either side of the restaurant, they will keep track of who came in when. There can be a wait during normal dining times. The food is good, home style cooking, no matter what meal you order. The prices are very reasonable. The staff here is a mixture of your brother who handles everything but you might need to ask twice; mother who will ask you three times if you have everything; sister who rather be some where else but will be fast, attentive, and takes the time to dialogue with you; and the aunt who knows everything that is going on even if you are not her table, she has what you need covered.
