This is just a fun place. A converted garage into a lunch place that becomes a popular hangout in the evening. Great for groups and fun night out. Go alone, and you'll likely chat with someone at the bar. Great selection of rotating brews.

I like it. It's probably not every bodies type of place. But it's eclectctic without being radical, beer for beer lovers, more food choices than they would be able to handle without the Governor's Inn kitchen behind them, and outdoor seating.

The music is lively and fun in a small, cozy inside restaurant - in the summer with patio seating - and a great weekend music series with cold craft beer and cider on tap and pretty good munchiettes.

A nice little hole-in-the-wall pub. I go there almost every Thursday as they tend to have promotional deals for that night to encourage business. Vendors will come in and offer free pints of their particular microbrew, and I've even seen cigars and liquors promoted by visiting reps. Plus there is live music, and it's usually very good music. For this reason, Thursdays can actually be even more lively than Fridays! They change out their 12 taps so often that I can't keep up with it, and it's all good stuff - microbrews, one-offs or specialty brews from Smuttynose, etc. You won't find Bud/Miller/Coors on tap here - be warned. They do have them in bottle, but you will have to twist arms to get it. They don't have a fryalator, so no fries, but they do an amazing job with the little kitchen they have - burritos, quesadillas, burgers. Just pubby food, but always very good. If you're a carnivore, try their "Taste of the Garage" - it's a heart attack looking for a place to set up house. Very friendly, beer-knowledgeable wait staff. Give them a try - you won't regret it.

I will grant it was a busy Sunday afternoon, but they had no ice coffee and then they had no iced tea. And we didn't really care for the chicken nachos. There was some regular cheese on it but there was some that seemed more like a Velveeta type of cheese which was not exactly our favorite cheese. And I felt the chicken on the nachos was a little dry. But it was fun to be eating Outdoors listening to live music and hanging with friends

Just stayed 1 night to see a Twins of Evil concrete and the stay was great. Very good food and extremely clean room. Everyone I talked to were very nice along with making you feel you’ve been their before. Will definitely be staying here again come next trip.

Good food and a variety of beers. Entertainment out back on Thursday and Friday nights. The 16 oz beer ($6 or 2.67 oz per dollar) is a better value than the 20 oz. beer ($8 or 2.5 oz per dollar).

Drinks, food, and servers are great. Not really happy with the fact that if its busy, it takes forever to get drinks. Waited about a half hour to get a soda. Average wait time for a beer is about 35 40 minutes. Would love to see a few more choices for food, very limited food menu. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice place, but needs a few adjustments.

I went after a show at The Rochester Opera House and was pleasantly surprised that they were still serving food. The $6 lasagna special really hit the spot with a glass of wine. I would NOT recommend a mixed drink though. I'm not sure how anybody can spoil a margarita, but somehow it happened. Another person in our group found their whiskey & ginger less than satisfying. Again, how does one spoil THAT?
