The place was quiet. Me and my wife got there around 7pm Saturday night and ordered there chicken finger appetizer and sure and turf . The food was excellent and our server Mike was great.,very pleasant and engaging. I'm differently coming back and hope we get Mike as our server again. Great job guys. On short notice, the Farm Bar and Grille was able to accommodate nine of us for a late Father's Day afternoon meal. The fish and chips I ordered came hot and with ample servings of fish, fries and cole slaw. It was very tasty and provided large enough portions for a second helping later at home. The service was excellent as well. Recommended.

Decent food, great location. Their portions are just way too oversized. I'm all about getting more bang for your buck, but when a plate is served to you and you immediately feel overwhelmed, I'd much rather get a smaller portion. Their drinks are really good, along with the service. If you're going here with another person or a group, remember that one plate can easily be shared by two people!

The food choices were eclectic and for someone without food sensitivities or allergies would truly enjoy the experience. The staff was friendly and helpful especially our waitress. She was able to cope with the difficulty of my multitude of food allergies and came up with a delicious meal that I was able to enjoy. The atmosphere of the restaurant is inviting & interesting. This is a pleasurable place where anyone would enjoy.

Steal tips where great, potatoes were great. Staff was super nice. Only thing was good too a tad longer than expected and my potatoes were slightly cold, not even warm. But they were still really good as well. I will go there again. Give them a try!

I continue to come here and be disappointed by the food every time. As an example, the ribs lack meat as a full rack might weigh 1.5 pounds. I find the service to be mediocre, if not slightly worse depending on who you get. Their bar area has a good vibe to it though, and they do have good trivia.

Terrible service;got out drinks after sitting for 15 minutes with no service; finally ordered drinks; ordered apps and they were just ok; nachos were cold; our dirty dishes sat on the table till our food came out 1/2 hour later as the waitresss never came back to clear the table; food was disappointing; stale roll for the burger; greasy fries and never saw the waitress for another 1/2 hour to get the bill and get the hell out; two hours for apps and sandwiches; needless to say we will not go back

We were a small group of 5 and there were two other tables with customers. The waiter approached the table and almost immediately said they weren't expecting this much business and wanted to add a disclaimer that it might take a while to serve everyone. There appeared to be only two wait staff and one server on shift. By the quality of the meal there must have been even less cooking staff on in the kitchen as well. The food was overcooked and was of fair flavor. Maybe after a few drinks it may have tasted better. When we left there were still only a handful of tables with customers sitting in them but in the meantime there were multiple groups waiting in the waiting area to be seated for dinner. Understaffed, overcooked, and underwhelmed overall!

Had the fish tacos that were delicious. I have to recommend their Cosmo. It was one of the best I have ever had!! My friend got the fish and chips and remarked that it was the best she has had in the area. We will definitely be back!!

Meh - went for dinner and happened to catch happy hour. We shared the nachos and each ordered a burger. The nachos were pretty terrible for being "Phantom Gourmet's pick". Our burger buns were hard and the sandwich itself had barely any flavor. They put a lot of effort into their menu, but the food itself was very lackluster

Played here with a Blues Band recently. Nice place. Food was excellent. Crowd was good. Can't speak to the quality of the drinks or beer selection, as I was technically "on the job" and was drinking water. Would go here again when I wasn't playing in a band just for the food though.

So there is good and bad with this review. Went to the Farm tonight 7/31 for the first time. I had steak fajitas, my wife had fish and chips, one child had chicken fingers and mashed potatoes and the other had cheese quesadillas with sweet potato fries. My fajitas were great. Seasoned perfectly and a large portion. My wifes fish and chips were blah. The batter for the fish was soggy and the fries tasted old. The cole slaw was maybe the worst I've ever had. No flavor at all. Seemed like the dressing was just water. My sons chicken fingers were delicious and he seemed to love the mashed potatoes. There was a $2.99 upcharge because he wanted potatoes instead of fries which seems like a lot to me. My other son didnt eat his quesadilla because he started not feeling good but his sweet potato fries were awesome. Again a $2.99 charge for the substitution which seems like a lot. Service was so so. Our waiter was very friendly but not very quick. It was 8pm so after the dinner rush but they were setting up for trivia night so he was probably just busy. Overall we probably wont go back. For over $80 there are better options in Manchester

Disappointing to say the least. Found tin foil in one dish and under cooked fish in the main dish after being given the runaround about what was even still available in the kitchen at 7pm at night. Skip this one folks. Clearly Phantom Gourmet was fooled.

Our server was great and we're really happy she put us on a quiet side of the dining room since we had our son with us who is autistic. The drinks were great but we were not a fan of the food. It was all just a bit too rich or greasy. Just not my cup of tea.

Amazing BBQ nachos. Loved theme of pigs flying and great selection of beers. Waitress was super attentive and kept my water glass full and never once mixed it up with my Sprite. So yummy! We will definitely go back!

Made a reservation for 14 for Saturday 4/14/18 at 6pm. Got there and they had no reservations for us. They accommodated us by putting us in the atrium where the bartender was. The bartender was our waiter. It took 2 hours to order and receive our food. We had to ask for our bill and didn’t get it until 9 pm. Usually I have had good to great service. But that night most of everyone’s food was cold and the manager usually goes around table to table to ask how everything was... didn’t see her come to our table. Very disappointed!!

YOU MUST HAVE THE CHICKEN POT PIE! Also, the fried pickles were delicious. I went with friends/family in Dec and it was very cold in there with dim lighting. I kept my winter coat on the whole time. Other than that, great food and great service! I will definitely go again.

After having a great experience in the Kittery location I was pleased to find this location in Manchester. Downtown location in a older building. Comfortable atmosphere (booths are tight so if you are bigger ask for a table or chairs). Nachos we're good... Large portion of BBQ pork, cheese, and jalapenos had a nice blend of spicy and slightly sweet. The double/double is a huge burger cooked perfectly and the accompanying onions rings were crisp and tasty. The Plain Jane is huge and far from plain. There chicken is crisp and huge and the toppings compliment the entire sandwich. Fries were hot with a crisp outside and soft inside. Good meal, well proceed for the amount of food.

Really well poured drinks, everybody's food looked great too. I initially thought I might have trouble with vegan food here but they have a great looking garden veggie burger, and I ended up getting the impossible burger! Meal was absolutely delicious. Music was a bit loud but conversation was easy enough. Will definitely be back!

Prices are good, and fries are decent, but the "medium rare" BBQ burger was disappointing. The beef was seemingly very lean with little flavor, and was cooked well-done. Most places overcook their beef, but it still wasn't what I was hoping for. Beer selection is okay, and the bartender was friendly. Used to come here for trivia nights years ago, but probably won't be back any time soon.

The fish tacos and chicken pot pie are to die for. My wife and I sat at the bar for dinner and we're immediately engaged by the bar staff. The staff was not only knowledgeable about the food, they were passionate and personable too. We really enjoyed the environment, staff and food.

Everything is good. I haven't walked away thinking "omg i need to go back for ____" but i have also never been disappointed. Portions are a perfect size for the money. Drinks are creative and the descriptions a kinda funny. If you are going here for lunch it will either be 45 minutes or 1.5 hours. No in the middle.

The food is terrific and they have a good selection of drinks as well. Staff has been super friendly over the years. I visit frequently and the service has been slow the past few times. I'm typically understanding about that because I understand things get busy. But if the service were faster, it'd be 5 stars from me, easily.

Quite frankly I never leave reviews, but I visited “The Farm” for the first time tonight and was very impressed. Service was quick and my drink was always full. I was greeted with a smile, and throughout the entire meal our server was fantastic. Being a server myself, I notice a good one when I see it. So to Mike our server and the restaurant team, thank you for such a great night! It was my first time, and certainly not the last.

Burger place primarily but they have a nice variety of other entrees. I had a marvelous fish and chips. Lots of appetizers still to can nurse a brew or two while you're waiting for your meal. But, the main course comes out quickly.

I came on Tuesday evening around 23:40. I sat at the end of the bar and waited patiently to order a beverage. Grand total there were 9 people total in the bar. Of them, 4 were looking to get a drink or close out. The bartender, a female turns up the lights to the bar. She is a female with pink hair and numerous tattoos on her arms. She finally realizes I existamd asks me if I needed anything. She gets me a Captain and Coke and charges me $8.75. Charging $17.50 a drink is a bit much. In the past when I’ve eatin at your establishment the portions have been more than I would have expected. I don’t know what happened tonight but it was so bad I felt the need to write a review.

The Farm is back on my good list after the taco incident/misunderstanding. They realized there was some confusion and made amends to me which I truly appreciated. Their food is good home style cooking with fresh ingredients most of which are locally sourced from farms. My kids like the food too which is good to find a place everyone likes.

My fiance and I stopped by for lunch recently. We started with the beer battered pickles: the batter slid off the pickles and was soggy. I had the walking in Memphis burger. The flavor was there but the pulled pork tasted old and reheated. My fiance had the Angus steak Fajitas done right... they were not done right. The meat was so tough it was almost inedible, way overdone. The food here does not justify the price they charge.

Nice place, incredible food with good portions and reasonable price with great service BUT the bathrooms area from the access hall to the cleanliness is disgusting. The bathroom is old, smell, the soap leaks on the counter doing a mess, and there are black spots of mold everywhere. Seems that they haven't spent money on it in years.

Chicken pot pie was excellent. The bartender (provided great service), but had to pour 3 different glasses because of particles floating in the beer. That's the only reason for 4 stars otherwise a nice visit for lunch. I would go back.

Very nice place to eat there is a restaurant on one side and a bar on the other. There pulled pork is very good and there nachos are absolutely amazing. Taco Tuesday is another one of my favorite specials they have it's a good place to eat and they are busy but usually don't have to wait for a seat can go with the family for dinner or can go out and watch the game with friends or enjoy trivia night or karaoke night with happy hour and a comfortable environment

3-3/4 stars. I usually start with the negatives so here goes.The tortilla chips that came with the spin dip and were a base to the nachos were fresh but flavorless. The rum buckets are slightly overpriced.Everything else was delicious. The spin dip itself was cheesy and delicious and the bread bowl it gets served in was far superior to the tortilla chips. The jalapeno poppers were fantastic,utilizizing fresh peppers. The nachos made great use of sweet pulled pork(not usually a fan) to balance off the heat of the reappearing fresh jalapenos-seeds in.I wish I could remember my waiters name so I can request him next time. Fun,fast,friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a revisit to the place of hot and cold reviews for me.

It doesn't seem like much from the outside, and it doesn't help that its neighboring storefronts are all closed, but it's industrial rustic interior is wonderful. Friendly, attentive service complimented excellent food in LARGE portions from a clearly intentionally limited menu. Selection is focused on fresh ingredients with something for everyone but limited selection allows quality and freshness to prevail. Decent drink menu with many unique offerings with the widest selection of "Mules" we have ever seen! Rustic decor matches the cuisine nicely. A fine place for a date night or night out with friends. Come hungry!

Last night was at dinner a friend. I haven't been to the farm in a while as I moved out of town. Came back for a good meal I was used to. The service was "ok" but not spectacular as I remembered from previous visits. Many service issues, long wait to order, drinks took a while to get out to us, Mac and cheese was pasta with some milky cheese tossed on it, not impressive. Maybe they were just busy but not the experience I was expecting.
