Typical small sports bar and pub. In the summer it's nice because you can get a cold beer on their deck or downstairs near the opened garage door. Nothing special about this place, but nothing wrong with it.

The Draft is a sports bar, not fine dining. Keeping this in mind, you will not be disappointed with the good beer selection and assortment of T.V.s throughout bar playing a variety of games and sports. They do have a full menu but if you are looking for healthy meal offerings then you might want to look elsewhere. They have outdoor deck seating in nice weather upstairs and a few pool tables with music downstairs.

Warm vibe. Friendly staff. Very good selection even though it's a little bit pricey. The drinks are solid and the food is flavorful + filling. The Draft is the perfect spot for carousing with old friends: nicer than a dive but more comfortable than a fancy pub.

Not sure what's going on with this place. I was There for New year's Eve. Not one TV was working and they only had two bar staff on who refused to turn to the bar and acknowledge anyone who wanted a drink. We split right after "The ball dropped" which I had to look at my watch to know when that was....

Recently the food has gotten better, especially the pizza. They must have gotten a new chef. Great micro and local brew list on tap. Upstairs patio seating is nice, but it seems like the waitresses could use some help. Another bar upstairs would be cool. Seems like there's a lot of unused space up there anyways, except for that crazy 50 foot TV! This would also allow the drinks to flow more easily to the patio!

The beer prices are outrageous and the service is only so so. We probably won't return since the happy hour prices are the same as everyone else's regular prices. The atmosphere is not worth the price of the drinks.

Nice local bar. Waitress was lovely and right on top of suggesting a beer that my husband might like. Park garlic wings were delicious. Crispy and flavorful. Breaded mushrooms were fantastic and plentiful! Took a gumbo home and husband loved it. Place was not crowded n playing decent music in the background and all tv's on had a variety of sports venues on each. We enjoyed this little stop for some down time

Really good soup but very expensive... The shrimps were a bit too cook and didn't taste of garlic at all( garlic shrimps!)... The service was amicable but slow. French fries were delicious but hot dog had nothing at all in them.

Attended a Science Cafe event about recycling and waste issues and learned a lot! It was a great space to share ideas while having good beer and food. A little crowded upstairs where the event was held, but the wait staff did a great job keeping up.

I really enjoyed the open air seating options. The general feel of this place was friendly and welcoming. The service was prompt, and attentive. Their beer selection was not massive, but it was suitable for most beer drinkers. I'd definitely go again.

The food is outstanding, and I have no issues with the drink prices as suggested by others. Actually I found the prices equal if not less than most other restaurants. You can easily make a meal for 2 with a couple of appetizers and an order of their smoked chicken wings.

Great place for a happy hour after work, to start or end your night on the town, or to watch a game with many flat screens all around the place. 2nd floor has a comfortable sitting area to watch games as well as a nice deck to enjoy the weather or people watch is great for most of 3 seasons, although the service there isn't always tlas prompt as it should be. All the bartenders are experienced, friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and get to know their customers habits and tastes. There's even a basement with darts and pool. Truly, the best and only real option to watch your favorite sporting event in Concord.

I sure am glad I found a bar in town that serves Shiner. As a native Texan, it's my favorite beer, and it's been available in a few grocery stores, but no bars I've visited so far. Good atmosphere, plenty of games on, nice bartender.

Spent over 200 dollars and had a great time. Went with my buddy and I closed our tab so he could open his and the second we went to open another tab they cut us off. We were not belligerent or drunk in any sense but they wouldn't serve us. I was not happy with this because of how much I spent and we we're ready to spend more. Next time I'm in town I probably won't go back.

Dinner at The Draft never disappoints. A unique door (it looks like a garage door) and dependable service it’s a great place to grab a drink or food. It has one of the best decks in Concord and a great view.

I used to go there for a drink with my husband and we always spend a good time, but last time a drunk men threw a glass to my back and the staff just leave him there like nothing happened, so after that I have never been there again. Anyways is a good sport bar at Downtown Concord, they offer pop corn :p

The Draft is usually a great hangout but I was a little uncomfortable last night. I witnessed The waitress with pink hair chew out a girl for no reason. The girl was just trying to help her keep the basement area clean by pointing out some dishes that had been left out all night and needed to be picked up. Pretty disappointed with this!! Not sure how to reply so I will edit the original post. We were there about 10pm last night.

The pretzles we're great and they have a good selection of beer that is reasonably priced. Some places charge $7 for a local IPA here is was less than $5. Overall I had a pretty good experience. My only issue was the server dropped a chewed chicken wing from another table at our feet when coming to pick up our glasses and it remained there for the rest of our stay. The server said something along the lines of "Don't worry about it, we'll just leave it there." I thought she was joking, but I was proven wrong. I suggest picking up the dropped food next time.

Excellent food. BBQ is brined and smoked on site. Smoked chicken wings are a house favorite. Really great daily specials that include at least one entree, salad, appetizer and dessert. Plenty of Gluten Free choices, sports bar atmosphere, but much better food than expected. Local sourced veggies and meats. Great draft beer selection, local and standards. Bartenders are the best in Concord. Open air in good weather. Pool tables downstairs, Rock and Roll on Pandora and right across the street from The Capitol Center for the Arts, for a pre-show nosh or drink.

Imagine the perfect sports bar: not too loud, but still fun and engaging. Not five bajillion screens, but still enough to see all the games. Free popcorn. Non-fussy staff who know when to leave you alone. Good stuff. Kinda meh food and beer selection, but it's good enough :)

We were NOT impressed with this place at all. The atmosphere was very off, when you walk in you feel like that first day of school in a new place. Their downstairs pool tables, dartboard and gambling game machines (which were unplugged) seems like a forgotten part of the bar. Very poorly kept, the second table was missing pool balls there was no chalk for the cue sticks which were BADLY warped and no darts for the dartboard. The floor was uneven and bubbling up in places A SERIOUS tripping hazard for ppl who do not walk that well. There was one table an then a small side bar attached to the wall with a couple of chairs tossed around it. Our friend had to go hunt down the waitress just to get a drink order put in and that was AFTER we had been there 40 minutes and she had said several times will be with you shortly. Appetizers were OVER cooked and VERY salty, and then when our food came out she dropped one of the plates on the floor (of course would be the longest cooking one), and then proceeded to tell us how she drops things on a regular basis and it is ALWAYS the one that takes the longest. Instead of offering to bring some chips or fries for Audrius to eat while waiting for his food to RECOOK which took ANOTHER 20 minutes she just said sorry and left it at that. Their idea of sports to watch down stairs was golf on three of the four TVs that were on and the SAME channel. I really cannot recommend this place which is a shame because with some work and effort I believe this place could be an amazing sports bar and grill.
